Bay Pointe Club is a golf club venue that caters for weddings in Onset, MA. This property’s banquet building and landscape design make it the perfect location for a stylish and elegant wedding celebration. This sophisticated setting was built in 1964, near the historic Onset Village and Onset Bay. It features 18 championship golf holes designed by Geoffrey Cornish, a distinguished banquet facility, a clubhouse, and a heated terrace area. The Bay Pointe Club accommodates up to 225 guests between its outdoor and indoor settings. You are invited to host your ceremony on the venue’s luscious greens for an outdoor celebration. The Pavillion Building is a stunning facility that caters for wedding parties of all sizes, while The Cafe on 10 offers a relaxed and casual setting for your special event. The professional banquet and catering team will provide you with everything you need to plan your special day. They will seamlessly guide you through the planning process, from event rentals to catering options. The in-house executive chef works closely with you to create a custom wedding menu with tasting sessions provided. We had canceled our original dream wedding planned at the start of the pandemic. Since that time we had a 2 babies and purchased a home to raise our kids in and the thought of having our perfect day didn’t seem realistic anymore. We toured Bay Pointe thinking we would just get a feel for pricing and kept our hopes fairly low. When we got there, we fell in love. The staff was amazing, the ceremony space was stunning, and Barbara, the event coordinator was nothing but kind and helpful. We knew instantly that we would do everything in our power to have our wedding here. There’s a beautiful bridal suite and the food is amazing. All of our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The only complaint I had was the construction taking place at the time of the wedding which no one could control but Barbara promised me certain things would be done and she quite literally had a fence installed, paved driveway, landscapers put in all new plants, and grass put down within 24 hours. I pulled up to the venue on the day of my wedding with a huge smile knowing the lengths she must of went through to get that done for us. Over all this venue is clean, well maintained and has beautiful views. Highly recommend for an inexpensive great value.

I was the maid of honor in a wedding last year and I couldn’t have been more pleased with this venue! The bridal suite was spotless and super private (much better than others I’ve experienced). The staff and wedding coordinator were extremely helpful and thoughtful through the whole process. The service (both food and beverage) was great. My friends and family that attended the wedding still talk about it to this day and how perfect of a day it was!

We had our ceremony and reception at Bay Pointe in October. Both Barbara and Tabitha were extremely professional and organized. With everything else to remember, they both took care of everything- helping with the setup, answering any questions we had at the rehearsal and were helping at the reception until the end of the night. I would highly recommend Bay Pointe if youre looking for a wedding venue- beautiful, reasonable and a very professional staff. Thanks again for everything ladies!

I had a great experience! The room and area is absolutely amazing, I loved the covered patio area- it allowed guests of mine who didnt want to dance but be involved have a space to mingle and be able to talk to one another,hear the music and see the dance floor. The staff was WONDERFUL, they were professional and fun all at the same time. Barbara and Tabaitha were great to work with, I misunderstood the paper work about the bar (I requested the wrong kind of bar) and it was fixed in a matter of minutes with no fuss. I would highly recommend this beautiful venue!!! It is AMAZING all around, and very reasonably priced (we were sold when we realized open beer and wine was priced per person)!! Barbara was very helpful every step of the way and helped us plan the wedding of our dreams. At the beginning of wedding planning, she provided us with trusted vendors who had worked at the Bay Pointe many times before. The ones we picked from her list were all phenomenal. She was very accommodating when our very large families wanted to be included in the food tasting (and throughout the day of rehearsal). She was also accommodating when I decided to extend the time of the reception by an hour. The venue itself is beautiful, inside and out. The ceremony and reception areas were both perfect. The food was amazing, we got so many compliments on how delicious it was (we even got to have some!) The bar staff and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made friends with our families and wedding guests quickly. If you are thinking about checking out this venue or having your wedding here, DO IT. You won't regret it. Everyone at the Bay Pointe worked together to make August 4th, 2017 the best day of me & my new husband's lives. We couldn't be more thankful to have chosen such an amazing venue. not somewhere I would recommend based on our experience. I showed up on night befire wedding to meet with coordinator. After meeting with her, I left the venue panicked & so uneasy for the big day on Saturday. She was very unprepared and knew no details of the wedding.. she asked questions like \" So you are not having a ceremony on site tomorrow(even though I was)\" and \" reception starts at 4pm\" (starts at 5). she did not even know my now husband's name, did not know anything about our vendors ( although i had sent over a very detailed list to you)- asking where the DJ would set up, when I explained we had a band...such poor communication amongst staff. Needless to say - it definitely put me into a panic, when you feel the venue has not a clue on what is happening the next day - your wedding day.( I also talked to another bride who got married at the venue a few weeks before me and she had similar things to say in regards to the details of the time/onsite ceremony etc.)-I was told specific room and items would be moved and it would be cleared out for the wedding &the day of the wedding -the room was not cleared out. Creating an eye sore. There was Not enough time to change it on the day of the wedding.. so had to have it as it was.-The day of the wedding - there was no real communication or coordinating by Rebecca.she was difficult to find, I would have to ask the bar tenders to find her for me to assist, on more than one occasion. Overall she was just unhelpful & not attentive to the wedding needs at all.-The bridal suite was so hot and unclean . The bathroom had not been checked or cleaned, the toilets were unflushed, recently used and extremely dirty when we arrived. The air conditioner was not working properly or checked - I asked Rebecca and she commented on how it was warm and she had put it on in the morning.. but would check and never came back or w/ an update... -The sauce for the steak was incorrect - even though we had emailed to confirm details.-issues with bar tabs at the end of the night ..& the list can go on.. save yourself some stress. Book another venue.

We got married here on 7/29/16, it was the first venue we toured 2 years ago and we fell in love!! Barbara was extremely knowledgeable and helpful the entire way. The function staff was very pleasant and helpful. My husband loves the bartender Ed!! Food was amazing and we even had the rehearsal dinner on site. Eased my nerves knowing we had a back up for the ceremony if it rained. Cannot recommend Bay Pointe and Barbara enough!!!!

The food is excellent and the chef is truly willing to help with any dietary issues or special requests. Very reasonably priced, considering it's location and proximity to the Cape. The room was great and the facility was perfect!

From the very moment we met Barbara and walked into Bay Pointe, my (now) husband and I fell in love with the venue and its atmosphere. My husband is straight edge (or alcohol/drug free) and it was very important to us to have a little or no bar available at our wedding reception. Other venues stated we would be charged to remove the bar (some $12 a person without anything in exchange such a soda etc) and even other ostracized us for our life style. However, when we approached Barbara with our dilemma, she was not only understanding and accepting but made us feel very comfortable and confident that my fiance would feel at ease for our wedding reception. She offered us to remove all of the liquor completely or just have limited alcohol available. We ultimately decided to go with just beer and wine offered to guests. And as promised Barbara removed the extensive and honestly quite impressive liquor display for those who might be interested. \r\rBeyond that, the venue was immaculately clean, bright and inviting. The outside patio is perfect for cocktail hour. Barbara lit candles in the fireplace and around the venue. The bridal suite was spacious for all of my bridal party. All of our guests were impressed and delighted with our choices of hor dours (buffalo meatballs, brushetta triangles, and the very fun french fry shooters) and also our buffet lunch of Cesar salad, mashed potatoes, summer squash/zucchini, chicken/broccoli/alfredo pasta, chicken marsala and apple cranberry crisp. \r\rThe staff were polite, eager to help and attentive (before, during and after the event with us and out guests). Also, we had three guests in wheelchairs that needed special attention and Barbara and her staff were very accommodating to them. \r\rMost of our family has even joked, discussed and decided for my husband and I, that we will utilize Bay Pointe for our (future) christening party whenever that day might come with our future children. Bay Pointe is truly a hidden gem! We would highly recommend to all newly engaged couples to consider using Bay Pointe for the wedding, and especially working with Barbara! We cannot thank you enough for making our dream wedding reception come true!

From the very moment we met Barbara and walked into Bay Pointe, my (now) husband and I fell in love with the venue and its atmosphere. My husband is straight edge (or alcohol/drug free) and it was very important to us to have a little or no bar available at our wedding reception. Other venues stated we would be charged to remove the bar (some $12 a person without anything in exchange such a soda etc) and even other ostracized us for our life style. I loved the Bay Pointe Club.!The staff was great! Barbara was such a help throughout the entire process. She was easy to reach and was very accommodating. We got many praises for the delicious food. The ceremony space was great. Big dance floor and a lot of room for guests.

The Bay Pointe Club was simply the perfect venue for our wedding. I am a corporate event planner by trade but this was the first time I planned a wedding. I evaluated almost every venue in the area - both on and off the cape. From the beginning, Bay Pointe was easy to get in touch with and quick to reply to the myriad of questions I threw their way. \r\rThe wedding was absolutely beautiful. Bay Pointe keeps their ballroom in tip top shape, just like their grounds. The food was so delicious. I loved it and got many compliments from our guests. The chef was also very willing to accomodate our special menu requests (there were a lot!) Also, all 175 guests were served quickly which allowed us to get to the dancing! \r\rMore than anything, I was really impressed with the level of service. Each person I interacted with there (throughout our year-long engagement) put a lot of pride into their work. From the chef to the cleaning crew, I felt like they treated my wedding as if it was their own and it showed.\r\rI went into this process thinking that planning this wedding would be easy because I've planned thousands of events before. However, planning your own wedding is altogether different. The Bay Pointe Club helped me by thinking of every detail and I am so glad we chose to host the wedding there. They far exceeded my expectations and the only way I can describe the wedding is...perfect!\r
