The Perfect Barn Venue
The Berry Barn is a recently renovated wedding venue located in the countryside setting of Amite, LA. This location promises you the ideal barn wedding, and also allows you to customize it to your exact liking. Here, you and your guests can enjoy a totally exclusive celebration that you will be talking about for years to come. The Berry Barn gives you the opportunity to celebrate your ceremony and reception on-site, offering stunning spaces for both. You can choose to exchange your vows on the outdoor patio, complete with a stone terrace and wooden altar fashioned from double doors. Once the ceremony is concluded, you and your guests can enjoy a cocktail reception in the gorgeous gardens that surround the barn. You can explore this verdant property and find a wealth of different photo opportunities. Then, you can sit down to dine in the stunning indoor reception area of the barn. This classic wooden structure features a bright interior, complete with exposed ceiling beams and plenty of space for banquet seating. We had our wedding here on November 6th and it could not have been more perfect! The barn and grounds are absolutely beautiful and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. My girls and I got ready in the cabin, while the groom and his fellas had the loft to themselves. Both locations provided a peaceful atmosphere to relax and get ready in. Could not recommend this venue more!

We had our wedding here on November 6th and it could not have been more perfect! The barn and grounds are absolutely beautiful and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We got married at the other venue on the property called The Greenery. Green is my favorite color because I'm a nature and plant lover and this place was gorgeous! you have the choice of indoor or outdoor. due to the weather we had to move the wedding inside but it was when better than outside!! We got married here on June 4th and it was absolutely spectacular! Everyone who we worked with from the Berry Barn was overly accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. Getting married here was a dream come true. The barn and grounds themselves are absolutely beautiful so we didn't have to spend time searching for decorations to make the space wedding ready. They include so much in their price and their list of vendors also made planning our wedding much easier than we ever could have hoped. Our guests could not stop telling us how we had found a hidden gem and how nice it was. Overall it was an amazing experience getting married here and we would recommend it to any and everyone looking for a venue.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and venue! They ensured that every detail of our special day was taken care of and that it was stress free for both me and the groom as well as our families. I also highly highly recommend Mrs. Fran as your wedding coordinator - especially if you are experiencing any issues with people involved in the wedding, she will always have your back and ensure you have the perfect day based on what YOU want. I fell in love with the Berry Barn the moment I saw it! This was the perfect setting for my dream wedding. The barn itself is so breathtaking, and the farm scenery is beyond perfect for pictures. I loved getting ready in the farmhouses next to the barn and seeing the horses right outside the window. I also loved the outside ceremony space. It was big enough to hold my guests but small enough to feel intimate. My coordinator, William Spiess, was the ABSOLUTE BEST as well! He was so patient with me (and our large, crazy crew) and made my night perfect! If you are looking for a beautiful, rustic venue, this is the perfect place!

In Nov 2017 we did a tour for my sisters wedding where she fell in love with the location. She signed the papers that day and I gave my credit card info for the $1200 down payment. The next day my sister received a call asking for the grooms name. She informed them she was marrying her girlfriend. They said they would have to see if that was allowed on the property. (my sister had called weeks ago and could never get a straight answer)After a lot of back and forth for two weeks, they wanted to know if we could do the ceremony somewhere else and just do the reception there (while still paying the ceremony fee). And questions such as, \"well what exactly goes on during a gay wedding anyway?\" During this time they said they struggled with \"Jesus would be okay with it\". But they were fine with charging my credit card during this spiritual journey. All and all they told us they didn't feel comfortable with it and I called everyday for a week before the charges were reversed to my account. The law says they are allowed to refuse service (not upset about that) What I am upset with is that they didn't let us know up front before we wasted our day driving two hours from Metairie to view the venue. I encourage the Berry Barn to proudly state on their website that same-sex couples should look elsewhere so no one else wastes their time where they are not wanted.

We brought our family & friends all the way from New Orleans to this hidden gem and everyone is still talking about how beautiful this place is. I highly recommend this place AND get William to decorate and coordinate your big day! He 100% knows what he is doing and he does an amazing job! He responds in a timely manner to emails and makes time to have face to face appointments to discuss everything with you! Our wedding day went so smoothly and perfectly as planned! Thank you guys so much for having us and I would recommend this venue/coordinator over and over again! And check out their new venue The Greenary, it is sooo beautiful and perfect for smaller weddings, baby/bridal showers, and even wedding pictures. Check this place out, I promise you won't regret it!

It rained on our wedding day, and I had always dreamed of getting married outside, but William and his crew made the indoor ceremony just as perfect! We got so many amazing compliments of how beautiful it was. It was a crazy day and I was full of emotions, and they honestly went above and beyond to take pressure off of me and do whatever needed to be done- even holding an umbrella over me at all times in the rain! I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue or a more helpful, sincere crew to help for our wedding day. They made everything PERFECT!

We had our wedding here on May 27 this year. It was lovely--we really lucked out with the weather and the ceremony was beautifully sunny outside. The barn looked incredibly with all of the lights and set a great mood. William was great to work with--we truly had our dream wedding. (As an added bonus, one of the donkeys in the field next to the ceremony brayed during my husband's vows--we absolutely cracked up. It was hilarious).

Where do I even start? I fell in love immediately with the berry barn, it’s hard not to. It is amazingly beautiful! The staff was wonderful to me. My girls and I stayed in the cabin the night before my wedding and I stayed there with my husband the night of. The rehearsal dinner was in the loft and it turned out beautiful! It was so convenient to have everything there. My coordinator was awesome and did so many things for me I hadn’t even thought of.

I had the pleasure of attending my niece's wedding at the Berry Barn on December 17, 2016. Before seeing this venue I was skeptical; however, The Berry Barn turned out to provide the MOST BEAUTIFUL VENUE I've ever seen. The outdoor area for the ceremony was beautiful, quaint & elegant - all at once. The rustic barn for the reception decorates beautifully and turned out to also be both rustic and elegant. This setting truly contributed to the most gorgeous wedding and reception I have ever attended in my 58 years. I would highly recommend The Berry Barn to anyone looking for a truly unique and lovely experience!

Married this past December. Very nice owners and beautiful barn. We booked it very quickly within our venue search. All of our out of state guest absolutely loved the barn and the animals surrounding. Had a few malfunctions throughout the day but nothing that stopped us from enjoying our wedding or making it a horrible venue. Things happen sometimes and yet everything still turned out nicely! Thank you Berry Barn staff.

We had to clean trash up right before the ceremony from a previous event that took place the day before. I've heard good things about the place, just feel they need to be more consistent in what they provide to their customers and feel they should not have so many events going on at one time. Consistentency and happy customers are key to the wedding industry.

My experience with everyone at The Berry Barn was amazing. Our wedding was May 2, 2015 and it was beyond anything I had dreamed. Elizabeth was awesome and went above and beyond to accommodate any need that we had. The cabin on site was perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in on the day of the wedding and it made for great pictures. All of our guests (around 350+) had a great time and swooned over this venue. I would recommend this venue to anyone. They truly made my day memorable and special--completely stress free. Perfect for a rustic chic wedding! <3

Elizabeth was awesome and went above and beyond to accommodate any need that we had. The cabin on site was perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in on the day of the wedding and it made for great pictures. All of our guests (around 350+) had a great time and swooned over this venue. I would recommend this venue to anyone. They truly made my day memorable and special--completely stress free. Perfect for a rustic chic wedding! <3

The Berry Barn was amazing for a rustic elegant wedding! I got married July 2nd and Tanya was my coordinator! It was better than I ever could have imagined! Everyone had so much fun and said how beautiful it was. The venue is very large and there is a lot of space for dancing, eating, and chatting! My wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Tanya and the Berry Barn!

Elizabeth Liuzza (Owner) Thank you for your interest in my venue. My family and I own a working farm and sell produce all over the great state of Louisiana. We started the barn as part of our \"Agri-tourism\" activities where families come from all over to pick the freshest strawberries and vegetables, visit with our farm animals and enjoy the peaceful, country side. My husband Kevin and I have four beautiful children and spend most of our time taking care of our farm and spending time together. We hope to visit you soon!
