We chose The Big Red Barn at HMGC last minute for our wedding, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day of coordinator! Sara was fantastic through the entire planning process; she worked with myself and mother directly through emails/phone/texts and was always prompt to respond. She was easily able to help us accommodate last minute changes and always had great insight for day of set-up and flow, based on her experience at the venue.Day of, she was more than helpful to make sure my husband and I had a great time without a hitch/bump. I highly recommend her and her team for weddings and special events moving forward!!

Working with Sara was so great! She did an excellent job working with us to get all the details in place. Her laidback but organized demeanor was one of the reasons we decided to book the venue. She and her colleague Sam were very organized and supportive throughout the event. They worked well with all the other vendors we had, and made the whole event so easy! The venue itself is beautiful and requires minimal decoration, and the staff take care of everything for you. I would definitely recommend booking the Big Red Barn for your event!

WOW!!! Sarah and her team worked so hard to make my wedding a fairy tail. The venue is so beautiful and hardly needs any decorations. Just a few to make it your own! Having Sarah there made me feel great and stress free the coming days before the wedding and she made sure that the day went so smooth. I couldn't have asked for a better venue and staff! Beautiful venue, wonderful staff (Sara, the day of coordinator especially!), and incredible food! Loved that it was a one stop shop and that the big red barn is already decorated so tastefully so I didn't have to do much!

This venue was so beautiful! We had a great experience with Sara throughout the planning process. She was very helpful yet easy-going and willing to work with us to make our vision of our wedding day a reality. Our wedding day ran exactly as planned with Sara's help. We used the catering through the golf course and the food was absolutely delicious. We had several guests ask us where we had found out about Highland Meadows golf course because they thought it was such a cool venue. Overall I would highly recommend Highland Meadows golf course. It is the perfect barn/rustic wedding venue.

Getting married here was like a dream come true. Everything went so smoothly. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is terrific. They have a day of coordinator and she is a dream to work with. She was always willing to help and answer questions, and I know our day would not have gone as smoothly without her. It was a little above our original price point, but it was worth every penny! I would recommend this venue without a doubt. :)

My wedding was everything I dreamed of and more! Kathy was amazing and made all my plans turn out! We used the tree for our site and it was beautiful. Our reception was in the barn and all our guests constantly commented how great it looked. Our count was 285 so we had to add a tent and everyone fit and it looked great! The wait staff was great!\rWe also used their catering which was delicious! We did 2\rEntrees the prime rib and the asiago chicken! So yummy, all our guests made great comments!

We had a great time at our wedding reception! It was hot, but we were so busy that it didn't seem to matter! Beautiful views, especially at sunset, and plenty of room for guests!

We held our Rehearsal Dinner at Highland Meadows Golf Course at the Tavern. The food was delicious and the place was awesome. The service was good that day but it was hard to get in touch with our contact. There was some miscommunication between the executive chef that we booked the rehearsal dinner with (who left before our event) and the event coordinator. After we sorted through everything, our rehearsal dinner turned out great.

Kathy Braun was an amazing wedding planner and go to girl for the golf course. I know they are still in the beginning stages of becoming a wedding venue but I would have to say that it is an amazing place to have your wedding they are very helpful and Kathy is wonderful about making sure that your special day goes exactly the way you wish.
