We cannot thank the Blennerhassett Hotel and their staff enough. Especially the owner Lee, who was absolutely amazing. He really put everything together for us from the first step to the last. From my hair and makeup, to having our engagement party setup for us to a great meal and being able to provide for my 6 yr old son who has Celiac's Disease. Lee spoke with me personally on the phone a few weeks prior to the date and reviewed everything with me to ensure my son would be safe and we had everything lined up for our party. It meant so much to us to actually have contact with Lee and he is such a great guy! We were at ease when we seen our memorial flowers for those who couldn't be with us that day but were watching down on us. Everything was done to perfection which made it even more memorable.

There aren't even words to begin to describe how amazing the ENTIRE staff of The Blennerhassett is! Our wedding this weekend was nothing short of magical thanks to each and every person at the hotel. All of our guests were treated so incredibly well and were so impressed with the hotel that many are already planning their next trip back. My husband and I know that we couldn't have made a better decision than the one we made to get married at The Blennerhassett. If you're looking for a wedding venue....this is it!!! And make sure you get the short ribs...because OMG!!! AMAZING!!!! Emily- You are seriously one of the best people I've had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for making the last 11 months easy and fun!!! I'm not going to know what to do without our weekly phone calls. You are an angel for making brides dreams come to reality and making their wedding planning stress free! You and Jamie are a dream team!Thank you Blennerhassett for a magical weekend! We cant wait to come back <3

We got married here two weeks ago and it was amazing. We had a small wedding (40 people), so we held our ceremony and reception in the patio tent. It was the perfect size. The event planner and the catering staff made sure everything was perfect. We could not have asked for a better venue. The best part is everything was pretty affordable and the hotel wedding planner worked with us to make it just the way we wanted it. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a top-notch venue.

The event planner and the catering staff made sure everything was perfect. We could not have asked for a better venue. The best part is everything was pretty affordable and the hotel wedding planner worked with us to make it just the way we wanted it. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a top-notch venue.

We were married here just this past weekend and I normally never write reviews but I knew I had to this time. My husband and I had one of our first dates here at this hotel so it was natural that we had our wedding here too as it is a very special place for us. Emily Davenport is amazing!!! She is so helpful, so friendly and, even when I was stressed about the details, she handled everything perfectly. I could not have asked for a better team than Emily and Rachel. Everything from the tasting appointment, the tour of the event spaces, everything was done with such professionalism and kindness. Never once did I feel like nothing was being taken care of. Our ceremony was in the tent right off the patio and it was beautiful! Nice, air conditioned and it made us feel like we were outside but still kept cool on a hot day! We were able to decorate it to add some color and it was amazing (though it would have been great just the way it is now). The ballroom-unbelievable! I love the space and it allowed us to entertain our guests and no one ever felt crowded or like they had to move. The food was delicious and every single plate had the same immaculate attention paid to it. Our guests loved every bite, as they all made it a point to tell me how good it was. We stayed in the 2-floor executive suite and it was clean, well taken care of and absolutely beautiful. I really can't say enough about the staff of this hotel. They all went above and beyond to make sure our weekend was perfect. My husband and I have stayed here previously and the same kindness was paid to us then so it's evident that staff members love what they do and love being a part of their guests' special events. We really didn't set a specific budget so I can't say much about the price of everything but I'm so glad we chose the Blennerhassett for our wedding and reception as they relieved much of our stress and took care of everything so we wouldn't have to scramble on our wedding weekend to finish it ourselves. First class service! We will definitely be back!

I decided not to have my wedding at the Blennerhassett, so I can't say much for the process once it actually gets started. Emily was wonderful, though - she was knowledgeable, friendly, and very willing to help. In fact, she gave my mom and me a tour when we showed up unannounced on a Tuesday afternoon. The best thing about the Blennerhassett as a venue is how affordable it is. I was blown away by how cheap the prices were - until I went on the tour. The ceremony site is an outside tent that looks tacky and smells awful. The ballroom smells just as terrible, and the decor is nothing to write home about for a historic hotel that's supposed to be steeped in tradition. The suites are beautiful, though, so I'd gladly stay a night at the Blennerhassett, just wouldn't have a wedding there.

I booked The Blennerhassett Hotel for my wedding venue after attending a wedding there the previous year. The venue is breathtaking and sets the tone for your entire wedding. We wanted a very elegant and classy wedding with a venue that would wow our guests and also be a one stop shop so to speak. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and lodging all at The Blennerhassett Hotel and it was amazing! Emily Davenport and her helpful staff are great to work with. I highly recommend this venue!

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms very clean, the reception food came from Spats, it was amazing, what i had a problem with was with the hotel sales and catering manager Emily Smith, she had promised us couple things that she couldnt do it, in the end the hotel maneger gave us $800 discount because of her faults.

Chosing to have our Wedding at the Blennerhassett was by far the best decision we made as far as wedding planning. Emily (the wedding coordinator) is amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. We live in Texas so planning a wedding in WV was difficult but Emily and the rest of the staff at the Blennerhassett made it much simpler. If you are looking for a venue for both your ceremony and reception (or for just your reception) this is the place. You will actually get to relax on your wedding day because you will know that it is all under control. Also, be sure to enjoy the food during your reception because it is DELICIOUS!!!

We had our wedding and our reception at the Blennerhassett Hotel. We had the ceremony in their tent outside which is air conditioned so it wasn't too hot but it still gave the feel of being outside. We then moved everyone to the ballroom for the reception. The Hotel is so beautiful and perfect place for picutres. The staff was extremely helpful- we barely had to lift a finger. They let us dance and party in the ballroom up until midnight. My husband and I stayed the night in the hotel that night and our room was gorgeous. Overall, we couldn't of asked for a more perfect wedding. The only downfall is it is a little pricey but probably well worth it.

The staff is professional and the in hotel restaurant (Spats) is just phenomenal.\r\rI highly recommend staying here, even just for a weekend away.
