The Blue Note is a historic theatre venue in downtown Columbia, MO, between Walnut and Broadway, accommodating weddings and milestone events. They have hosted music legends, including The Pixies, R.E.M, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Arcade Fire, and look forward to welcoming you and yours. The Blue Note was initially established in 1980 and quickly became one of the city's hottest music venues. A decade later, the owner decided to change location and moved the club to a Vaudeville theatre, where the success story continued. Current owners Matt Gerding and Scott Leslie welcome musicians and couples to their venue, making it the perfect destination for unforgettable occasions. The banquet hall, their main event space, has a capacity of up to 500 and is suitable for ceremonies and receptions. This rustic chic room perfectly blends old and new with wooden interiors, a traditional theatre layout, and state-of-the-art sound and visual amenities.
