Couples will find that their needs are met from day one and will be assisted by a dedicated staff the entire way through. At the venue, there are two sites suitable for weddings and receptions. The Ceremony Garden is a fairytale location to exchange vows, complemented with beautiful views of the nature around it. Elsewhere, the Gardens Pavilion is an enclosed space that features heat and air-conditioning. The Boathouse at Sunday Park offers a wide range of services to help couples plan the wedding of their dreams. These include event planning, setup, cleanup, and both table and chair rentals. Also available are dinnerware rentals and in-house bar services. Event cuisine is crafted by talented chefs and can be served as plated-, station-, or buffet-style meals. Drinks can be provided during a cocktail reception and served at an open bar. Bartending services, champagne toasts, and the creation of a signature drink are all included in our wedding packages. We chose the boathouse at Sunday park for the beautiful scenery and all inclusive nature. It also provides an option to have an outdoor or indoor ceremony and reception is onsite so no need to have guests drive elsewhere. This venue was the most affordable option for us as well. Any food not eaten by the end of the night they will send home with you. The day-of coordinators are phenomenal and take all of the stress out of the set up and take down process. Some of my favorite pictures were taken down by the water at sunset! I highly recommend at least taking a tour of this venue!

When looking at venues for our wedding my husband and I knew we wanted a spot with a scenery and an option for indoor and outdoor use. The Boathouse was our second venue that we toured, and my Husband and I FELL IN LOVE with the waterfront view of Swift Creek Reservoir, as well as there beautiful garden ceremony space with a large garden pavilion building which was a perfect space for our 80+ guests.We wanted our wedding planning to be easy and stress-free, so when we found out they were all inclusive (included tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and flatware) we jumped on it ASAP. From the first meeting to the last and till our big day, The Boathouse was truly the best experience hands down! They were so persistent on emails and were so detailed with everything. It made our planning so much easier, knowing someone is looking over your big day and making sure everything it going according to plan. Our day of coordinator (also included) Amanda was AMAZING! I felt so bad for sending emails after emails, and making changes but she was so professional and patient throughout the entire process. When our big day came, we ended up with a new coordinator named Kristan. Even though Kristan wasn't there for our planning, she made my day even better, Kristan was so attentive and kind. She literally came and checked on me multiple times to see if I needed anything. She felt my vibes and helped out where she could. PLEASE GIVE THIS GIRL A RAISE! (Thanks for the texting about my (fake) ring Kristan!) Overall, We received so many compliments on our wedding space, from the waterfront to the garden, most of our guest couldn't believe they were in Midlothian,Virginia. The Boathouse at Sunday Park was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning. Everything from what it includes and the straight up professionalism that comes with it. We knew immediately after our tour we had to have our wedding at The Boathouse. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, food and drinks were all included, it came with a superb day of coordinator, the staff was incredible, and on top of all that it was affordable! On my wedding day, my coordinator was the point of contact for all my vendors and she made sure all of our decor was set up before we even arrived. My now husband and I got to spend the entire day really enjoying every moment because the staff took great care of everything. Our guests also loved the venue and many said our reception had some of the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Definitely book a tour, this is a really special venue.

When we first got a tour on The Boathouse at Sunday park's venue we both fell in love with the ceremony area and the reception area, and knew this was the place we wanted to become husband and wife. The Boathouse team was a dream to work with through the whole planning process! Amanda, our event coordinator, was a sweetheart and had everything run so smoothly the day of! The Boathouse staff were able to cater to the needs of some of our guests with food allergies and those guests raved how much that meant to them. We couldn't have imagined a better place to be married.

My day ran so smoothly. It was the most perfect, best day ever. I felt like everyone at The Boathouse went above & beyond to make sure my day was special and make sure my guests were happy. My friends and family can't stop talking about how beautiful everything was. The staff, the venue, the food, everything...perfection. There are so many great things about this venue. First of all, the setting is amazing. I wanted a venue with a beautiful backdrop and it delivered on every level. The water view is amazing. Also, the Boathouse assigns you a \"day of coordinator\" to guide you through your wedding day and keep everything running smoothly. I worked with Amanda and Kristan and they were both awesome...very responsive, organized and professional. I absolutely would not change one thing.

We cannot recommend The Boathouse at Sunday Park enough! The ceremony site is absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing and our onsite coordinator, Amanda was excellent! We wanted a venue that included food and alcohol and the boathouse did not disappoint. We went with a cocktail style reception with a variety of small plates and stations which was a huge hit with our guests. All of the staff was extremely kind, welcoming and attentive to not only us as a couple but to our family and friends as well. Amanda Hurley was professional, organized and wonderful to work with. I had minimal stress throughout the entire planning process. 10/10 would recommend!

Just had my daughter’s wedding at the Boathouse last weekend. Was absolutely wonderful!! All of my guests loved the beautiful venue, great food and service! Amanda was great as the coordinator especially since both families were from out of town and bride/groom were extremely busy with work! Have nothing but great memories now!!

We loved using The Boathouse at Sunday Park for our wedding! The venue is gorgeous and convenient for both the ceremony and the reception. The venue coordinator, Amanda, was very easy to work with and we were confident she would ensure that our day was a success! The food was delicious and the staff working our event were very attentive. We would highly recommend The Boathouse to other couples! It is also a bonus that The Boathouse is a restaurant. We can’t wait to go back to our wedding site for future celebrations!

To absolutely anyone looking for an all-inclusive venue in the Richmond area, The Boathouse at Sunday Park should absolutely be on your list! Our wedding planning was nothing but smooth sailing from the initial tour up until the day of. Our coordinator, Amanda, was there for us every step of the way. She had answers to every question and concern we thought of and had a plan before we realized we needed one. It ended up pouring rain right before our ceremony, which would devastate many, but she was calm cool and collective and helped us to focus on the main reason we were there. Everything was taken care of from start to finish. We had our three dogs present and the staff were so accommodating that we didn’t need to worry about them at all! They had a blast and were super tired pups by the end of the night as were we. Such a fun evening, we would absolutely do it all over again without any changes!

I got married on 10.10.22 and she was on it. like hearded everyone together. kept us on track. ran the rehersal when it was going off the rails and made sure I stayed on time and did what I needed to do. she would suggest things and was always sweet with my vision. she really understood my vision and made it literally come to life. I'm so grateful for her. she dressed really professional and was super responsive even though she is so busy and she always had a great and positive attitude. literally the sweetest human.

We had our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception on the well-manicured grounds. The September 9, event was a perfect time for the event. The in-season plants and beautiful, flowering shrubbery gave the event location a whimsical and romantic atmosphere. The beautiful water views, breathtaking sunsets, plus competent staff, and a well-maintained venue makes this a choice venue selection. While the Reception was in-doors, the ceremony was outdoors. The ability to utilize both spaces allowed the guest to access fresh air, as needed. The BoatHouse Event Coordinator Ms. Amanda H., and the personal planner, Mrs. A. Rolon, (Hearts Content Events) provided impeccable coordination to ensure that the entire event was a hugh success. The food was great. The staff at all levels were very professional and very responsive to the wants, needs and concerns of the bride, the groom and the parents. I highly recommend the Boathouse at Sunday Park.

I fell in love with The Boathouse quickly and wholeheartedly when my fiancé and I were shopping for a wedding venue. After signing the contract, we were paired with our wedding coordinator, Amanda. Amanda was so amazing to work with. She answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them) and truly made me feel like I could make my wedding look however and be whatever I wanted. The Boathouse is basically a one stop shop, but they offer such a variety of services that can help your event feel unique. The colors, the room layout, the food... there were so many choices, but we didn't have to stress over finding outside vendors except for the big stuff like photographer, DJ, etc. They do a lot of events and they've got it down to a science, but they still allow for individuality and customization. Our guests were so complimentary of the venue, the staff, the food, the drinks, all of it. It was the best day of our lives and The Boathouse played such a huge role in it. We are so grateful to have been able to be married in such a special and beautiful place!

The Boathouse was AMAZING. Not only was the ceremony garden in beautiful full bloom in late May, but I've been told by multiple people that it was the best food they've had at a wedding. Amanda and Chanae were my planner and day-of coordinator, and they were both amazingly easy and professional to work with. I purchased almost no decor for the wedding, and absolutely no table settings, because the venue is so beautiful and all dishware and basic linens are supplied. They also had multiple rain contingency plans when the forecast looked like it would pour on us. It was wonderful, and I feel like it was also a great deal for the money with the in-house catering. Would highly recommend.

The Boathouse at Sunday Park team was AMAZING and made all our dreams come true for our beautiful wedding celebration!! Laura Silva and Amanda Hurley were SO SWEET, kind, and caring. They were so amazing to work with through the 2 years of rescheduling and challenges due to COVID and made sure we were feeling very special every step of the way. THANK YOU so much Laura and Amanda and the entire Boathouse team! The venue was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and all our guests were raving of the beautiful view! The ceremony space was so perfect for photos with the beautiful sunset and waterfront view- the white arbor was EVERYTHING! Our guests were so impressed by the venue views. We chose to get married in Midlothian because of the venue! We live out of town and all our guests are from out of town so it was a destination wedding ALL BECAUSE HOW BEAUTIFUL THE BOATHOUSE AT SUNDAY PARK IS! We absolutely love it and highly recommend it. The Boathouse team helped us so much with finding the Sheffield cottage for our family to stay at, they were amazing with recommendations for the rehearsal dinner, hotels, other vendors, and even fun activities for our guests to do. The day of the wedding was so perfect, everything looked so beautiful, the service was amazing and the food was delicious! We LOVED the seafood and boathouse vibe- and our signature drink! The boathouse was so great to work with and had an amazing food selection for a very reasonable and fair price. Thank you so much to the boathouse team! The Boathouse at Sunday Park team was AMAZING and made all our dreams come true for our beautiful wedding celebration!! Laura Silva and Amanda Hurley were SO SWEET, kind, and caring. They were so amazing to work with through the 2 years of rescheduling and challenges due to COVID and made sure we were feeling very special every step of the way. THANK YOU so much Laura and Amanda and the entire Boathouse team! The venue was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and all our guests were raving of the beautiful view! The ceremony space was so perfect for photos with the beautiful sunset and waterfront view- the white arbor was EVERYTHING! Our guests were so impressed by the venue views. We chose to get married in Midlothian because of the venue! We live out of town and all our guests are from out of town so it was a destination wedding ALL BECAUSE HOW BEAUTIFUL THE BOATHOUSE AT SUNDAY PARK IS! We absolutely love it and highly recommend it. The Boathouse team helped us so much with finding the Sheffield cottage for our family to stay at, they were amazing with recommendations for the rehearsal dinner, hotels, other vendors, and even fun activities for our guests to do. The day of the wedding was so perfect, everything looked so beautiful, the service was amazing and the food was delicious! We LOVED the seafood and boathouse vibe- and our signature drink! The boathouse was so great to work with and had an amazing food selection for a very reasonable and fair price. Thank you so much to the boathouse team! The Boathouse at Sunday Park was the perfect venue for our wedding, after visiting it we immediately fell in love! Originally we had planned to have about 150 guests but due to COVID we had to dramatically change our wedding. The Boathouse was so incredibly helpful and accommodating. I had heard some horror stories from brides about postponing or changing- but The Boathouse made any changes we had to make super easy. Amanda was our coordinator and she took care of literally everything. She made sure everything was perfect for our day so we could relax and enjoy the night with our guests. If you’re getting married near Richmond I cannot recommend The Boathouse enough. Everything was absolutely perfect!

Let me begin by saying that we were not originally planning to have our rehearsal dinner at the Boathouse - we had booked a different restaurant over a year in advance. Due to COVID, we had to pivot and change our plans about three months prior to our wedding weekend. We are so, so happy we did! First of all, the space at Sunday Park is beautiful. My parents live by the Rocketts Landing location, and we originally hoped to have our event there, but it was booked. Well, Sunday Park is a dream and I couldn't have planned it better if I tried. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Gardens Pavilion. There is a large covered patio, where we were able to put some of our tables, and the Gardens Pavilion itself is a very spacious and open room. All of our guests (we had about 60) felt very comfortable in this big open space in spite of COVID-19. For our entrees, we had the vegan pasta (it was a risotto at the time that we had our rehearsal dinner), the salmon, and we paid extra for the crab cakes. We got so many compliments on the food, and people raved about the crab cakes in particular. We were able to pay a little bit extra to get the A/V package, which allowed us to use a projector and a hand held microphone, which was wonderful for our toasts. We even zoomed in some family members and a groomsmen who weren't able to be there and put them on the projector for everybody to be able to see.The staff was very accommodating and flexible to work with. We changed our seating chart multiple times, but Amanda was great and very helpful throughout the whole planning process. Our one complaint is that our dessert buffet ran out of chocolate mousse and creme brulée before everyone had a chance to try them, especially because we paid extra for the dessert buffet. Overall, it was a fantastic night and didn't feel like a backup plan at all!

We had heard great things about the Boathouse, and our experience only reflects that. Their coordinator, Amanda, was so easy to work with and absolutely understood our vision for our wedding day. The location is stunning and even on an early, cool spring day it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly professional and everything was decorated beautifully. The food is truly a highlight, we can't tell you how many guests came up to us saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. I couldn't imagine more perfect venue! Johanna was so very accommodating throughout our process and was a great day of coordinator. It rained most of the day so they held off putting out the chairs until I gave the go ahead. The staff was so attentive. I had some butterflies and they made sure I had ginger ale and checked on me and my new husband throughout the night. The staff was always smiling and did wonderful setting up the inside and handling putting it all away afterwards. Such professionals with a keen eye for detail!

Overall, we had an amazing wedding day at The Boathouse at Sunday Park. The food was amazing and so was the decor. They assigned us an in house wedding coordinator to help us decide on menu and decor. We had a couple hesitations on not giving a 5 start review. First, although we loved everything, looking back we think the price was a little much for 65 guests. Second, they originally said we could pay to arrive an hour before the vendor arrival time so we could take pictures, when I requested to do this they said that we were not able to, due to an event. We were disappointed because we were planning on having more time to take pictures before the guests arrived. We had a limited amount of time to complete this task the day of. Lastly, when packing up, the staff started packing all my decorations away right after our grand exit, without waiting for my mother-in-law, who was in charge of packing everything up. I had planned on certain items being in different bins because they were being used the next day for the send off brunch. My mother- in-law had to spend time the next day organizing everything. I wish they would have given her some time to breathe after our big exit to make a plan, but they wanted us out fast. Considering we paid a lot of money for this venue I was hoping for a little less hustle and bustle when it came to leaving.

The Boathouse at Sunday Park is so incredibly beautiful and the perfect setting for a wedding! My coordinator was Johanna and she was ON TOP OF IT! I had a meeting with Johanna two months before my wedding where she went through every aspect of the wedding so I knew exactly what I still needed to do and what things I needed to talk to other vendors about. I had another meeting with her two weeks before the wedding to finalize everything. Throughout the year I worked with Johanna, she answered all my emails quickly and thoroughly (and I had a lot of questions!). When I needed to make any last minute changes, Johanna was super accommodating. She updated my floor plan several times when I had changes in my guest count. The ceremony and reception ran so smoothly thanks to Johanna and everyone at the Boathouse. Johanna was in contact with the DJ through walkie talkie throughout the ceremony, telling him when to change the music. Immediately after the ceremony a server brought a tray of hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails for the bridal party to eat before beginning pictures. The food and the service during the reception were amazing and we got a lot of compliments from guests! We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at the Boathouse!!

Not only is the Boathouse at Sunday Park incredibly beautiful and breathtaking, but the whole team there is phenomenal. The Boathouse is so well organized with wedding events and made the whole planning process easier with their expertise. The Boathouse at Sunday Park exceeded all our expectations! It is such a beautiful location, which made the need for extra decoration very minimal. Johanna, the day-of coordinator was really a key addition to our day, as she made sure everything went smoothly and we stuck to the time schedule. The food was delicious, and they packed up an extra meal for both my husband and me to take with us when we left. We had so many people comment on how great the venue was and how perfect the space was for a wedding. The Boathouse really knows what they're doing and makes sure that your vision comes to life for your special day!

They also recommended our DJ and photographer and both of those vendors were equally as amazing. The food was fantastic and we are still receiving compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed everything.We also were especially grateful for Sara, the event coordinator. My husband and I got married at The Boathouse a few weeks ago and it was everything we hoped for! The venue is beautiful with the ceremony and altar overlooking the water while the wood paneling and lightning inside is soft and romantic. We loved the venue and the beautiful sunset! We live in Northern Virginia, but I planned the wedding from graduate school in Syracuse, New York. Our coordinator, Johanna Lassiter, made the planning process so easy despite the distance and stress of grad school. She is very organized and prompt to respond to emails and questions. She also made sure all of our decorations were set up according to how I envisioned things. We never felt rushed or pressured to make decisions about our big day. We changed the linens and other details several times but it was never a problem for Johanna to handle! Even when one of our shuttles was running late to the ceremony and we were nearly an hour behind, Johanna was calm and helped get us back on track. I didn't feel worried at all and my guests all had a great time! The food was DELICIOUS! We served steak, chicken, and vegetarian and The Boathouse was very accommodating with diet restrictions and when we kept changing the guest count during the last week leading up to the big day. The couple eats for free which is so thoughtful, and they even let my husband order the chicken chesapeake which wasn't what the chicken dish we served our guests. The special treatment the couple receives is very thoughtful and makes The Boathouse all the more special.

We had the most gorgeous and perfect wedding ceremony and reception at The Boathouse this past Memorial Day weekend. The whole venue was breathtaking, and Joanna Lassiter (the onsite coordinator) and the whole Boathouse staff did a phenomenal job executing everything for our wedding. We picked the heavy hors d'oeuvres option, because it was more cost-effective, and we absolutely had PLENTY of food! The wait staff made sure that my husband and I always had food (a plate of everything) and drinks at our sweetheart table, so that we didn't miss the opportunity to eat while we were making the rounds talking to folks. Johanna and the setup crew did an amazing job setting up all of the decor items exactly how I had imagined; all I had to do was bring everything to the rehearsal in bins with instructions on where to set them out. When I saw the ceremony and reception space on wedding day, it was perfect! They even helped pack everything up at the end of the night and load all of our personal items into our parent's cars for them! I knew the Boathouse was going to send my husband and I with a \"midnight snack,\" but they packed us up two complete bags of food and cake! It was enough leftovers that we were able to eat dinner for the next 3 days! I also loved that we had a full bar and were able to have a signature drink. Additionally, all of the linens, dishes, and tables were included, so we didn't have to deal with any rentals! I can't recommend this venue enough!

Her calm and collected nature REALLY helped this nervous bride the morning of the wedding. We were so pleasantly surprised the day of our wedding that they decorated for us - and we had a lot of decorations! The venue is absolutely stunning and we were so fortunate to have such gorgeous weather that highlighted the venue's beauty even more. This venue is seriously worth every penny and I would say it is a steal considering all this venue has to offer. I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. From beginning to end, everything planned at the Boathouse was fantastic. The venue is beautiful with the separate pavilion perfect for a reception. It's a terrific restaurant so they know what they're doing when it comes to food. The staff, particularly Susan the wedding coordinator, are top notch. She got all of our DIY decor placed perfectly and even found just the right spots for some additional decor we weren't sure could be used. All communication was timely and there was seamless coordination with vendors. Having just experienced another family wedding also at a restaurant venue, I could see the extra distance the Boathouse went to make the event go smoothly and beautifully. We couldn't be happier with our experience there.

From beginning to end, everything planned at the Boathouse was fantastic. The venue is beautiful with the separate pavilion perfect for a reception. It's a terrific restaurant so they know what they're doing when it comes to food. The staff, particularly Susan the wedding coordinator, are top notch. She got all of our DIY decor placed perfectly and even found just the right spots for some additional decor we weren't sure could be used. All communication was timely and there was seamless coordination with vendors. The Boathouse at Sunday Park is a spectacular venue. We feel incredibly lucky to have had our wedding in such a beautiful location with amazing service. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Susan, the onsite coordinator. She is a magician when it comes to making a dream wedding. She is on top of everything. She helps guide you along the process while still allowing it to be your wedding. She keeps you up to date with things with regular emails outlining what has been done and what still needs to be done to keep things on schedule. She creates a day-of time line to help ensure all goes smoothly. She is onsite for the rehearsal and for the wedding and helps assure all goes as planned. The food is delicious and all our guest raved about how great it was; wedding food is never that good. We selected a signature cocktail and the staff made sure it was exactly what we wanted even with some tastings to confirm. Susan communicated with all my vendors to assure everyone was on the same page.

I don't have a single complaint about my experience with The Boathouse at Sunday Park. Throughout my planning process, the wedding day, and beyond that, Susan and her staff were absolutely fantastic. They were so accommodating to all of my requests and suggestions (except no sparklers hehe). They helped set up our decorations and were so helpful. Our wedding day had some hiccups, with another vendor, and they did everything they could to smooth out the situation and make our day as perfect as can be. The food was wonderful, the drinks were great, and the service was perfect. We received so many compliments about our wedding day and our venue- how the servers were ready immediately after the ceremony to pass drinks and hors d'oeuvres, the staff was so friendly, the Boathouse was gorgeous, and several family members said it was the nicest wedding they had been to. We were lucky and had perfect weather, so our ceremony was outside as planned. At the end of the night, the Boathouse sent us off with a bag of goodies for a midnight snack. Susan even followed up with me after the wedding to help resolve my issue with the other vendor. I can't say enough great things about her and the staff at the Boathouse.

We had steak and salmon. If you want to go to one place that has it all, the boathouse is it. It was nice that the alcohol, food, tables, linens, event coordinator were all bundled into the price. We had our rehearsal dinner at The Boathouse at Sunday Park, it was wonderful! Our friends and family are still raving about the service, food and beauty of this place. \r\rThe waterfront ceremony spot is so beautiful you don't even need to decorate it. The reception pavilion is so gorgeous and cozy, with an attached tented terrace where we had the bar and lounge furniture... Just perfect! The food was so yummy, our guests were completely satisfied. The Boathouse at Sunday Park is truly an amazing venue! The ceremony garden is just beautiful. It overlooks the Swift Creek Reservoir which makes for lovely pictures at sunset. And directly next to it is the reception pavilion, which was just recently renovated earlier in the year and looks absolutely gorgeous. It features a beautiful fireplace, reclaimed wood walls, glass doors to overlook the reservoir, and a bridal suite. \r\rBut what I really appreciated was all that was included in the one price--ceremony location, reception location, tables, chairs, food and drink (which includes a bar package) provided by The Boathouse Restaurant, linens, and a wedding coordinator. It was a huge time and money-saver to already have all these aspects covered by one vendor. Susan was my wedding coordinator and she was wonderful throughout the whole planning process. She is professional, courteous, and responds quickly to any emails/phone calls. I also had hired a separate wedding planner and they both worked extremely well together to help make my big day so special. I was speechless when I saw the decorated venue for the first time. They really made my vision come to life so much better than I would have ever imagined. It really was a relief to have Susan and her team on my wedding day! She and her wait staff were so friendly with my guests. Throughout the night, I received many compliments on the courteousness of the staff and quality/portion size of the food. Many said it was the best service and venue they’ve ever seen at a wedding. That being said; I highly recommend this vendor. The food was absolutely wonderful and they were great to keep the appetizers stocked up until the food was ready for us. I was an absolutely clueless bride, but the staff and coordinators there are so thorough and so organized, I had nothing to worry about on my wedding day! Plus, the location is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I loved it, as well as our families and guests! Overall cost of the location was a little pricey (keep in mind you're also paying for food, wait services and tips), but worth it!

I had my wedding in the gardens and my reception in the pivilion at The Boathouse, and it was amazing!! Everyone who I worked with was amazing, Joanne, Julia, and ultimately Anne as my coordination did a amazing job!!! Staff was super friendly, waitress called my by name at the wedding, food was delicous, some family said they wanted to go back to eat at the resturant!!!

We had our ceremony and reception at The Boathouse at Sunday Park. I can't say enough about how perfect the location, venue, food, view and most importantly event support staff were. Our event coordinator, Julia, was absolutely on top of everything, giving great advice and inspiration. My husband and I were living overseas while planning our wedding, and Julia worked with us over email and met with my parents in person to work out all of the details for our wedding. All of our family and wedding party were impressed with the staff and the beauty of the location. I loved the Boathouse when I visited it this summer and knew we had to have our wedding there! (Although I will say that she was a bit hard to get a hold of the weeks prior to my wedding and disappeared after the cake-cutting at my wedding, which made me have to coordinate me and my husband's exit myself. She was full of great tips and suggestions, though, and worked with my particular needs - making the whole day just as I wanted). Definitely recommend this venue for its beautiful photographs and delicious food! They are a busy busy place for a reason!

My husband and I were thrilled with our choice of The Boathouse for our wedding reception. By choosing them, we were able to have a wedding coordinator who took care of all the last minute details. She was amazing (even saving flowers from the wedding that took place the day before, and adding them to our decor). The food was delicious, and the setting is gorgeous. We were so glad that we found The Boathouse for our reception. The staff did an amazing job from start to finish (helping my parents pack everything up).

Anne Roy (Director of Sales) Anne Roy, CPCE is the Director of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations for HOUSEpitality Family. With over 20 years of industry experience, Anne’s favorite part of her position is helping clients bring their event vision to life. Anne is a founding member of the Richmond, Virginia chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE). She served as president in 2014 and 2015 and currently serves as an Executive Board member. In 2014, she was named to the NACE National President’s List.
