Our wedding at the boathouse was absolutely amazing! You canât beat the unique boathouse venue with the beautiful Lake George as your backdrop. Many of our guests stayed in the lodges. Everyone raved about how beautiful the venue and accommodations were, how delicious the food was, and how friendly and accommodating the staff was. Everyone also loved all the amenities- the pool, the hot tub, bonfire, etc! Jayne is wonderful to work with- so professional, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout the planning process. Iâm so happy we picked the boathouse to have our wedding at, I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Everyone raved about how beautiful the venue and accommodations were, how delicious the food was, and how friendly and accommodating the staff was. Everyone also loved all the amenities- the pool, the hot tub, bonfire, etc! Jayne is wonderful to work with- so professional, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout the planning process. Due to COVID-19, 50 days out from our wedding date, we decided to change the location of our wedding to be closer to family to make it safer. Now that we had a guest count that fit, we were thrilled to be able to go back to our original pick which was The Boathouse Restaurant & The Lodges at Cresthaven. Jayne and Dan were lifesavers and joy to work with! They helped us plan our wedding ceremony and small receptions in 50 days. They were attentive and beyond accommodating. Janye is incredibly responsive and answered all my questions. Dan customized a menu to fit our budget and needs. But on top of that, they allowed us the opportunity to create the wedding we always wanted while keeping our 28 guests safe. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves, everyone was spaced out, and all the staff had masks and gloves. Our guests are still talking about the breath taking views, delicious food, and just how perfect the venue was overall. Saying our vows in front of a picturesque view that to this day doesnât seem real, was a dream come true. We couldnât have asked for a more perfect day and will definitely be going back to The Lodges at Cresthaven for a vacation when everything is back to normal!

Every part of our wedding was more perfect than we could have ever dreamed of and much of that is because of the impeccable service from everyone at both The Boathouse and The Lodges at Cresthaven. We were fortunate to have many of our family and friends spend the âwedding weekendâ with us and every single person raved about EVERYTHING. The lodges were absolutely stunning, the customer service from everyone was top notch, the food was delicious, and everyone was so kind and accommodating. Even our stress level leading up to the wedding was minimized because of Jayne (and Dan!) and her awesome team â they helped with everything. The venue was so perfect for our wedding. Not only that, but the pool, the playground, the beach for our fire pit, the hot tub, and even the conference room â we used it ALL and it was all perfect. It has been 6 months now and our friends and family (and us ï) are still talking about what a great time they had. To say it was a weekend we will never forget is an understatement and it we truly believe that it was because of everyone at The Boathouse and The Lodges. There is no place we would recommend more and we canât speak about it highly enough. To say we recommend this as a place for you to get married is a vast understatement, it blew our dreams away.

My daughterâs wedding at The Boathouse was absolutely perfect. Her ceremony on the beach was gorgeous! The Boathouse itself is beautiful and the views are incredible. The food was fantastic. It was wonderful to work with Jayne, Dan, and the entire Boathouse staff. Jayne always responded quickly to emails, and she was SO accommodating when it came to our many requests. I cannot imagine a better experience. Many of our guests stayed at the Lodges at Cresthaven, and everyone loved it. The grounds and lodges are beautiful and charming. I really canât say enough about The Boathouse and the Lodges at Cresthaven. I would highly recommend both to anyone who wishes to have a beautiful wedding in an amazing setting.

(check out the photos and ask to make sure you're looking at the right floor if you're doing a smaller event like we were) The food was great, the servers were great and we even had a big bonfire on the beach with smores! Pictures on the docks at sunset (or any time we're sure) were gorgeous as well. Our coordinator Jayne was fantastic to work with and we would highly recommend that anyone host an event there!

The Boathouse Restaurant is hands down the best spot on Lake George! The view is panoramic, the food is amazing, and the staff was so helpful. I am so glad I chose this venue. Jayne was extremely helpful through the planning process ensuring every detail was exactly how I wanted it. My guests are still talking about the food. It was the BEST prime rib I have ever had. I truly canât say enough about this place and would highly recommend to anyone else. Thank you Boathouse for everything! đ€

Our wedding at The Boathouse Restaurant was better than we ever thought it could be! I came across the venue on google and insisted we drive up to Lake George to see it. After meeting with Dan, we both knew this place would be perfect. We had both the ceremony and reception there. Dan and Jayne were amazing to work with, they eased our minds with all our concerns and our day was perfect. We got lucky with the weather for the ceremony and cocktail hour (even though we had a back up rain plan). There was a crazy evening storm during the reception that caused a power outage, but we didn't even know! The restaurant ran on a generator the rest of the evening and we didn't find out until the next day! The food was fantastic and the Lodges at Cresthaven staff was great! Our guests and family were impressed with the staff and kept commenting on the amazing venue and scenery. We did have a lot of guests stay offsite, at a nearby hotel, and we utilized the Boathouse shuttle, which went smoothly and guests were very happy. I highly recommend this venue. We look forward to being able to go back to celebrate a future anniversary.

We LOVED the property and staff at the Lodges at Cresthaven and Boathouse restaurant. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer! The property was gorgeous and unique, just what we were looking for our wedding. The food was delicious and Jayne was there to answer all of my questions along the way throughout the process. Our guests and family kept saying how perfect the venue and resort was and how special the weekend was. We cannot wait to go back for future anniversary and family trips!

Initially, we were looking for a destination-style wedding in a beautiful fall-centric location in Upstate NY. Through the graces of Google, we discovered this location and were impressed by the fact that we'd get the entire Boathouse restaurant for our guests and we wouldn't have to worry about food, setup, bar, staff...basically it covered most of what you'd expect from a destination venue.\r\rThe location is as beautiful (if not more so) as it looks in pictures, and it was a perfect fall venue.\rThe food was enjoyed by all of our guests, the wine was better than I expected (especially as a huge wino), and we had plenty of choices for open bar so that all the guests were really satisfied.\r\rBUT what really made my review a 5 start was the incredibly thoughtful and attentive staff. From the second we sent the first check they were extremely accommodating, responded quickly, and made sure I had everything I needed on my day. On the day itself, the staff made sure my husband and I had drinks, food, and knew what was going on every single step of the way. Thanks to them, I was not one of those brides who went hungry!\r\rI highly recommend this venue, this amazing staff will handle so much of your to-do list and really help you enjoy your special day. Plus, the pictures are amazing!

I just had my wedding at The Boathouse Restuarant (October 2015) and it was more then I could have ever ask for. The scenery was perfect. The staff was fabulous. The condo we stayed in was beautiful. I had my ceremony and reception there.

We were married at The Boathouse on 9/13/14 (75 guests) and had a wonderful experience with the venue.\r \rIt's a stunning property with a great view of Lake George, and the log-cabin-esque lodges are modern but rustic. There are lake activities, a half indoor / half outdoor pool, and a great playground for little ones. It's also extremely convenient for the guests to be able to stay at the Cresthaven Lodges (timeshare on the property) for a long weekend and then attend the ceremony, reception, and next day brunch all at the same location (The Boathouse restaurant). They even had a golf cart that shuttled people around the property and even picked up one of our guests staying at the hotel across the street! Worth mentioning again that the property is gorgeous :)\r\rI can't stress enough what a pleasure it was working with Dan, Jayne, and Janice, who were our contacts for planning the wedding. They were incredibly flexile and accommodating and worked with us to make our vision come to life well within our budget. They were incredibly helpful during set-up and the event itself as well. We were especially grateful to have their amazing team running the show as we tried to balance entertaining our guests with a number of last-minute changes of plans due some rainy weather* plus an allergic reaction that I had during the reception from eating a nut-filled granola bar right before I walked down the aisle (my own fault!). The entire staff was so kind, flexible, and attentive, and their ability to not only go with the flow but help reorganize the flow saved our wedding.\r(*It was really important to me to have a great rain plan when booking a venue since I didn't want to be stressing about the weather. Our ceremony took place on the covered dock right on the water and was beautiful and intimate. The guests loved it and said it was very romantic!)\r\rIn general, everything was so flawless and seamless - just absolutely perfect - but beyond that, there were also such nice unexpected touches. For example - we had a stacked tower of mini-Ben & Jerry's ice creams instead of a traditional cake, which the staff stacked up for us and immediately put into ice buckets to keep cold. They had never had this type of request before, but were just such \"yes\" people, they were not phased at all! In addition, they helped us order the most delicious cookies from a local vendor to supplement the ice creams, and then boxed up all of the leftover cookies into individual containers so the guests could take them on the way home without us even asking for this. How thoughtful! \r\rIt's also worth mentioning that our guests had such positive feedback on the quality of service - many people remarked at how wonderful the servers and bartenders were, and my husband and I appreciated that all of them wished us genuine and heartfelt congratulations (and were so attentive to me when I was sick!). We also heard very positive unsolicited feedback about everyone's dinner. People enjoyed the food, especially being able to order chicken, fish, beef, or veggie the day of instead of being locked into their decisions months in advance. (Our gluten free and vegan guests were well taken care of by the staff, as well.)\r\rI am so thrilled that we chose the Boathouse for our special weekend. We all had an absolute blast. We would absolutely recommend the venue to others.

They were incredibly flexile and accommodating and worked with us to make our vision come to life well within our budget. They were incredibly helpful during set-up and the event itself as well. We were especially grateful to have their amazing team running the show as we tried to balance entertaining our guests with a number of last-minute changes of plans due some rainy weather* plus an allergic reaction that I had during the reception from eating a nut-filled granola bar right before I walked down the aisle (my own fault!). The entire staff was so kind, flexible, and attentive, and their ability to not only go with the flow but help reorganize the flow saved our wedding.\r(*It was really important to me to have a great rain plan when booking a venue since I didn't want to be stressing about the weather. Our ceremony took place on the covered dock right on the water and was beautiful and intimate. The guests loved it and said it was very romantic!)\r\rIn general, everything was so flawless and seamless - just absolutely perfect - but beyond that, there were also such nice unexpected touches. For example - we had a stacked tower of mini-Ben & Jerry's ice creams instead of a traditional cake, which the staff stacked up for us and immediately put into ice buckets to keep cold. They had never had this type of request before, but were just such \"yes\" people, they were not phased at all! In addition, they helped us order the most delicious cookies from a local vendor to supplement the ice creams, and then boxed up all of the leftover cookies into individual containers so the guests could take them on the way home without us even asking for this. How thoughtful! \r\rIt's also worth mentioning that our guests had such positive feedback on the quality of service - many people remarked at how wonderful the servers and bartenders were, and my husband and I appreciated that all of them wished us genuine and heartfelt congratulations (and were so attentive to me when I was sick!). We also heard very positive unsolicited feedback about everyone's dinner. People enjoyed the food, especially being able to order chicken, fish, beef, or veggie the day of instead of being locked into their decisions months in advance. (Our gluten free and vegan guests were well taken care of by the staff, as well.)\r\rI am so thrilled that we chose the Boathouse for our special weekend. We all had an absolute blast. We would absolutely recommend the venue to others.

Our rehearsal dinner at The Boathouse was just simply lovely. They gave our party privacy and we had a sectioned off part of their restaurant and tables set up exactly how I wanted them (one long table). It was lovely and everyone had a great time. We brought decorations and they helped with the set up. The wait staff were all very happy and provided excellent customer service.
