With our existing clubhouse space and the addition of our new venue, The Barn at The Bog, our reputation is growing as the finest facility in the area for your special day. The Barn at The Bog is such an incredible venue with top of the line staff!! We are more than happy that we chose The Barn as our wedding reception. The venue itself is just incredibly beautiful creating that rustic/elegant wedding reception venue. KD, the event coordinator, went above and beyond to accommodate our personal requests. The planning meetings and preparations leading up to the big day were very professional and we felt more than prepared leading up to our wedding weekend. KD had great communication throughout the entire process, always responding in a timely manner. We knew what to expect because the meetings were so helpful. The staff followed the agenda so well, keeping the day running so smoothly. We received many compliments by our guests regarding the staff The Bog provided, so thank you very much! The atmosphere, food, bar menu, and experience was more than exceptional! We are more than happy to have had The Barn as our wedding venue! We will be recommending this venue to anyone we know. The Staff at the Bog was resourceful, punctual and energetic throughout our wedding planning and day of process. We were very happy with the bogs willingness to accommodate special requests (swapping out food choices & decor install assistance) for our wedding. We used the Clubhouse location for a wedding around 100 people, we enjoyed the more intimate vibes yet really like all the different options for Guests to mingle (ex., patio/fire pit/ the greens steps away). The breathtaking sunset and fresh air with little to no noise pollution was a cherry on top of our magical day. We appreciate the bog and all that they provided along with all the work they did to make our event so memorable! We would recommend them, and our guests were impressed as well.

Chuck, Lexi, Megan and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our day so special. Their communication was great and made us feel so comfortable and confident for our big day. We had our wedding at The Bog on 4/30/22. It was the perfect venue, we had both our ceremony and reception there. Andrea was very responsive to all of our questions and really helped with the planning portion. Our final guest count was around 180 which I thought was perfect for the size of the venue. The upstairs did get a little tight with during the room flip but the staff did it so fast that guests were able to go back downstairs in no time. The staff was amazing getting the dinner out quickly, and it was delicious. The venue itself is gorgeous and didn't need to many extra decorations to make it even prettier. We thought the price was reasonable compared to other vendors in the area and the proximity to Milwaukee/airport. We would recommend this venue and would love to go back to a wedding here in the future.

Honestly it was our dream wedding venue. I think we booked the day we saw it! Andrea is the most amazing person that any bride could ever work with. Planning a wedding is all new to anyone who does it and Andrea is going to make sure you understand everything from your options toCost break down to set up etc. Our guest were in awe of this venue and so were we even though we had seen it multiple times. We want to have our 10 year wedding celebration here because we loved it that much! We hope you read this review if you are between 2 and pick the bog because we promise it will be worth it!

BEAUTIFUL! We are so happy with our location! We loved the idea of having our wedding at a barn and the fact we found one on a golf course too, just so happy! The venue was so beautiful that we did not have to decorate much! The direct person we worked with was very kind and responsive to all emails (she is no longer there). The day of was amazing! They were busy with our wedding and a golf outing but still on top of everything! All staff that helped were extremely professional. No complaints! They also have a private on site ceremony site!

My wife and I had our wedding at The Barn in October. The venue itself is quite nice and the cost is very reasonable, but we had an absolutely terrible experience with the staff.First of all, the on-staff wedding planners kept quitting. The lady we initially signed with left without informing us, then her replacement left a few months later. This led to a LOT of confusion and problems for us the day of the wedding. I know staff changes are not entirely The Bog's fault, but their communication with us and among their staff was inexcusably poor.Worse than that, though, was their teenage staff. They hired high school aged kids for every aspect of the wedding and, frankly, it seemed like the kids felt they were too good for the work that they were doing. The grounds crew flat out refused to sweep the venue and I had my groomsmen walking around picking up dozens of cigarette butts and dead worms an hour before the ceremony. When we confronted them about this, one of the teenage staff members told my best man \"I will cut you\" and walked off.My bride's wife also had a bad experience with the teenage kitchen staff. The staff was supposed to distribute 150 cupcakes to our guest, but they ended up leaving all but twenty of them in the freezer. They did not bring out plates and they argued with my mother-in-law when she asked them to just bring out the cupcakes saying \"We can't. It's not in the notes\".I understand that COVID-19 can make it hard to hold on to staff. I understand that staff turnover makes it hard to run a smooth event. I even understand that frustration breeds frustration. However, I cannot recommend a venue that would hire kids who deliberately antagonize the wedding party and refuse to do their jobs. That is unneeded stress on your wedding day.

When we walked in to the Barn it was still under construction, but I knew it was the place! K.D. made the whole process simple, transparent, and in the end, perfect. Chuck was literally a magician the weekend of the wedding and great to have onsite! The food was delicious, the staff lovely, the venue beautiful and the day perfect. We could not have asked for anything more to make this moment with friends and family the most perfect day ever. Thank you, K.D, Chuck and the Bog team!

Loved the Bog! K.D. was amazing to work with! We loved the Bog immediately! The rustic yet classy space we used was smaller with a stone fireplace. We were taken on the golf course for pictures in various spots and they were very accomodating in allowing us to bring a surprise for my groom! We could not afford the buffet options listed so they helped us work out an alternative that was delicious and affordable.

Loved the Bog! K.D. was amazing to work with! We loved the Bog immediately! The rustic yet classy space we used was smaller with a stone fireplace. We were taken on the golf course for pictures in various spots and they were very accomodating in allowing us to bring a surprise for my groom! We could not afford the buffet options listed so they helped us work out an alternative that was delicious and affordable.

My fiance and I were very excited about The Bog. Not only for the price point, but the location and services they offered as well. We set up an appointment to see the space and hopefully choose a date and submit a down payment. We showed up to our appointment (which we had made a month before) and waited 45 minutes. The event planner never showed up. The bartender told us that she would show us around, showing us things that we could've seen by ourselves and she could not answer any of our questions because she didn't know the answers. It has been a week and a half and we have not heard anything from the event planner, such as an apology for not showing up to our meeting. If The Bog handles showings in such a manner, how reliable can they be on the actual wedding day? We were not pleased and would not recommend this venue, simply for the lack of professional and courteous service we received.

I absolutely loved having my wedding at the Bog. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. The staff was amazing- they volunteered to help set up and had everything organized the night of the reception so I could come pick up items the following day. They were willing to work with me to allow my dogs on the grounds because it was important to me to have them there. They were also very excellent with service- the food was ready very quickly and the staff were extremely nice. The grounds are also very gorgeous for pictures and they allowed us to use golf carts to take a few people out for pictures on their grounds- for those who don't know these include ponds, board walks and many wildflower areas which are breathtaking. They also were very flexible and open to any decorations that I wanted to use in the space. When I didn't have a power cord long enough they noticed and brought me one without my even having to ask. They set up a very nice space to eat and sit and a separate area with a dance floor. The communication is beyond excellent and Carissa was always open to discussing any ideas I had and working to make them come alive. I would highly recommend the Bog to anyone interested!

We had a great experience with the Bog. Carissa was very helpful in getting everything set up for the day. She promptly answered all of my emails and phone calls. We had the need for a gluten free meal, which was no problem with them. Then I had to add a second gluten free meal just days before the wedding, and that was also no problem. The service the day of the wedding was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They were also extremely nice in helping us set up for and take down the decorations. We were also given a golf cart to take pictures around the course, and the gentleman that helped us was also very nice. I highly recommend The Bog for your reception.

As an out-of-state bride planning her wedding, The Bog was very easy to work with and everything they promised was what we got the day of. The reception hall turns into a beautiful and cozy gathering for a guest list of 100. The background of the golf course gave way to amazing photographs that captured memories of the day. The food was unbelievable and HUGE portions, well worth it! Overall, my husband and I were very pleased with The Bog and are happy we chose this location for our wedding reception!

My husband and I had an early June wedding at The Bog. It turned out to be a beautiful day so we were able to have our ceremony outside. The scenery at The Bog is simply beautiful! There were a lot more photo opportunities than we originally thought. \r\rOn top of that, the staff was excellent to work with. They are friendly and laid-back, but still very professional. Our Italian buffet was delicious and we received many compliments...and many people going back for seconds! \r\rWe loved The Bog and almost wish we could go back again for another wedding!
