In the 1880s, this area saw a large concentration of Czech immigrants. Several places throughout the neighborhood, such as Sokol Auditorium, The Prague Hotel, Bohemian Cafe, and St. Wenceslaus Church, became essential to the surrounding community. The Bohemian Gardens, which was constructed in 1895, was another gathering space found in the local area. Originally a dance hall, it offers a memorable setting for couples to celebrate their marriage. The Bohemian Gardens went from being a dance hall to a restaurant and bar before being transformed again in 1993. It was then that it was purchased by an artist and home renovator who lovingly created this 5,000-square-foot garden. The historic building is ideal for smaller and elevated celebrations, with room for a live band or DJ. In addition to weddings in the courtyard and receptions for private events, this venue is well suited for business retreats. Couples can combine the interior and exterior spaces at The Bohemian Gardens for their big day. This full-service facility also offers overnight accommodation for more than 15 guests. We recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at the Bohemian Gardens, and we cannot sing enough praises about this location. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds to the final moments of our special day, the Bohemian Gardens left us in awe with its beauty and impeccable service.We worked with Hali from our initial inquiry to the wedding day; she was responsive, attentive, and accommodating to all our needs. On the day of Hali ensured, our day flowed seamlessly. She coordinated with the vendors to ensure our vision was accomplished. I could completely trust her, allowing us to relax and enjoy the wedding. We had roughly 50 people attend our wedding, but the space could accommodate larger weddings too. We had lots of compliments on the venue and the bar service. Overall it was a unique, wonderful location that was perfect for our wedding!
