Modern and Elegant Venue
Located in Keller, TX, The Bowden Events & Weddings is a banquet hall wedding venue. With a mission to give back to the community and cultivate occasions with a greater sense of meaning and purpose, this space is truly one of a kind. In fact, profits from all events held here benefit The Greater Keller Women’s Club Foundation (GKWC), a non-profit organization. The GKWC builds community and provides educational scholarships to deserving local area high school students while helping families in need. The Bowden Events & Weddings is conveniently located in the center of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Shopping, dining, and entertainment are all nearby, and the DFW airport is only 11 miles away. Hidden by trees and featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, this venue has plenty of charm and appeal. It also has sparkling crystal chandeliers that add an overtone of elegance to any occasion. Outside, a private patio offers views of the on-site one-acre pond, which also acts as an idyllic backdrop for any event. Across the property, couples and their guests can experience the detail and luxury that makes The Bowden Events & Weddings a first-class venue. The ​Holly Chapel is nestled in an alcove of trees, and it has a cathedral ceiling that is framed by natural wood beams. Elsewhere, the Ballroom can accommodate ​over 550 guests in its room that is flush with natural light. Beautiful wedding venue!The bride and groom were so beautiful in the Holly Chapel and the ballrooms were set to perfection. My husband and I attended a wedding in December, every detail was perfect.The food and staff were fantastic! Love The Bowden !!!

I attended a wedding here last month and the chapel was beautiful especially at sunset. The cocktail hour and reception were a lot of fun and the service was amazing. They were so friendly and the food was great too!

I attended a wedding here and it is one of the most beautiful ceremony sites as well as ballrooms, I have ever been to! Their servers were so nice and efficient and the food was delicious! I wanted to get married again just so I could have it here!

The Bowden was the perfect venue for my July wedding. When looking for venues, we wanted something that would accommodate 250+ guests and would allow everything to be indoors. The Bowden was beautiful and the space was exactly what we needed. Every staff member we communicated with was friendly, professional, and timely. The food catered through the bowden was also delicious and we got lots of compliments about it. At my wedding, my grandma had an accident and fell and the bowden staff went above and beyond to help her and put my family at ease. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

We loved the beautiful chapel with large windows allowing natural sunlight for our ceremony, the dark wooden beams above us, and the ample amount of space for our guests. The reception hall is next door to the chapel which was very convenient!Indian weddings require coordination, teamwork, professionalism, and most importantly, good timing. The Bowden, the employees, and the lovely day of coordinators worked so hard to ensure our day was perfect. Our family and friends enjoyed the tasty food, great drinks, and dancing the night away! We would recommend this venue to our family and friends! Beautiful venue:)

Do not recommend. Rude bartenders and terrible service. (Unlimited bar service was paid for). Very disappointing. Upper management was very condescending when complaint was received during an in person meeting. This is a very expensive venue and should be treated with respect. Do not recommend. Multiple guests of wedding were offended.

I cannot explain how amazing The Bowden is!!! From the coordinators to the serving staff nothing could have been more perfect. Heather was amazing at helping coordinate many of the details along the planning process which transferred over to the bridal and vendor coordinators Jennifer and Cindy for the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding. All of these women were so responsive and helpful - they did anything they could to make the planning process easier on me. On the day of the wedding, Jennifer and Cindy made everything flow seamlessly. Any issue that came up was taken care of before I was even aware. They were so professional and a joy to work with. A few of my friends were wedding planning at the same time and watching them coordinate all the things the Bowden has in house made my planning experience so much lower stress than theirs. I wouldn’t change anything. Book the Bowden you won’t regret it!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic was scary to think about, but booking with The Bowden was one of the best choices I made for my wedding. Heather was so amazing during the whole planning processing, answering every question no matter how many times I asked her. I also opted for a bridal attendant on top of the day of coordinator that you get when you book with them and that was great. Cindy and Jennifer were very helpful and worked well with the month of coordinator I brought in myself as well. Between all 3 of them my day was smooth sailing and I never had to lift a finger or had any stress! I also wanted to mention the food, so many of my guests expressed how good it was and that it was some of the BEST wedding food they have ever had!! Overall, The Bowden helped bring our wedding to life and made it more perfect than we could have ever imagined!!

The food is outstanding; all of our guests had nothing but great things to say about it. The team was also really flexible for our gluten free and vegan guests, giving us ideas and alternative options to suit those dietary needs. The bride and groom's suites were perfect for getting ready, plenty of space for large bridal parties and a hair and makeup team. I fell in love with this venue as soon as I walked in. Everyone we worked with was so helpful and communicative. The food was fantastic, and everyone truly enjoyed themselves and the atmosphere. The only negative comments I have were that the guests felt like the bartenders had a bad attitude the entire night and there was always a line for the bar - an option to add a second bar would have been nice.They also ended up being very pushy for money, which was unfortunate and left a bad taste in my family’s mouth.The day was perfect, though, and well worth it.

The Bowden met every expectation I had for a wedding venue. I wanted a venue who did it all. The staff was very attentive and organized. The food was AMAZING. I had so many compliments from guests saying it was the best food they’ve had and the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The chapel and ballroom are absolutely stunning by themselves, but adding flowers and decor only elevates the space. Could not recommend them more. Thank you so much!

The Bowden met every expectation I had for a wedding venue. I wanted a venue who did it all. The staff was very attentive and organized. The food was AMAZING. I had so many compliments from guests saying it was the best food they’ve had and the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The chapel and ballroom are absolutely stunning by themselves, but adding flowers and decor only elevates the space. Could not recommend them more. Thank you so much!

My planner made an appointment for me to meet with a Coordinator at the venue for a tour of the facility. She followed up with her contact the day before the tour to ensure my wedding date was available and was assured it was available but there were others interested in the same date. I arrived at the venue the next morning and was rudely told the date had been booked for months and no one would have told my planner that it was available. I was also asked in a very condescending way if I was aware of the prices for the venue. Originally we had planned on having a cigar roller for our wedding. This information had been conveyed to the venue at the very beginning of our discussions . The venue reached out one week before our wedding that a decision had been made to not allow cigarettes or cigars on the reception patio due to the possibility of destruction of property. Although the venue eventually agreed to allow for cigars on the reception patio, this is not something I should have had to deal with one week prior to my wedding. After our wedding, one of my guests made a call to inquire about the use of your facility for her nuptials in 2022, and she was not informed that there would be no smoking on the patio. I also had several issues with the venue's Day of Coordinator. She was not helpful the day of the wedding and caused various issues for my planner throughout the day which in turn took my planner away from areas that needed her attention. And, she continued to let guests into the chapel through side doors although I had made the decision that if my guests were late they would watch the ceremony from the lobby. We also had problems with one of the bartenders. He was rude to my guests, and would barely dispense alcohol. I paid for an open bar, and my guests should have been able to drink as long as they were not over-indulging without him harboring the alcohol. And, to top it off, he closed the bar 15 minutes early. I was actually in line to order my husband a drink, and had been for several minutes. When I finally made it up to order he replied the bar is now closed. I had to go locate the venue’s day of coordinator to rectify this. The lights in the entryway of the ballroom were turned off before we made our grand exit. Also, as previously agreed upon the venue did not provide buckets of sand to diffuse the sparklers, rather, gravel which made it hard to put the sparklers out. Staff members kept telling my guest to ensure the sparklers were out in the buckets not the ground because they would charge us for any burn marks on the sidewalk. I feel like my experience with the Bowden was degraded because I didn't fit their idea of the \"ideal bride\" because I am a black bride. These feelings arose from my experiences with their Coordinator and remarks made by the bartender.

I feel like my experience with the Bowden was degraded because I didn't fit their idea of the \"ideal bride\" because I am a black bride. These feelings arose from my experiences with their Coordinator and remarks made by the bartender.

We had our daughters wedding here on Sept of 2020. Even though we were in the middle of COVID-19 issues, The Bowden came through with professionalism and the perfect atmosphere. I am not only the Father of the Bride but am the Minister that performed the wedding. The Bowden made everything go very smoothly, not only for the ceremony in the chapel but the reception was done with perfection as well. I am so grateful that did everything here. We had 300 RSVP's and even though not everyone showed, the Bowden was ready to take care of everyone, from the food, to desserts, and everything else. So lucky to have found The Bowden! I spent a long time looking at venues- from Austin to Dallas and nothing was as perfect at The Bowden, it checked off every box I had. You just go see this place in person, the pictures of the chapel and reception hall do not give it justice, they are absolutely stunning. The space and flow of the property allowed for such a perfect set up and the staff is extremely nice and helpful, they worked closely with my wedding planner to make sure everything went off without a hitch.

I got married here on Oct 27 and it was the most perfect day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. Super clean and pure which is my style. The chapel looks BEAUTIFUL when the sun glistens in. I was extremely happy with the food as well. EVERYONE commented on how delicious the food was. We come from a family full of restaurant owners and they were extremely pleased and satisfied with the food. Heather did such an amazing job helping us out. We had some little issues with miscommunication but everything got sorted out since Heather was there. There were some new coordinators who didn't really give us clear info and confused us but we gave them the benefit of the doubt since they were new. Other than that, all my vendors complimented on how amazing the venue looked inside and outside. My photographers were so excited and got some amazing pictures which I got to preview! One downside I had was that the food took awhile to come out but it was worth it since it was so good. Another downside was we had a FULL SHEET of cake that was not touched and given to the guests. I was very unhappy about that. I do not know where the miscommunication came from but people asked me if we had cake and the venue did not serve it but instead just cut it and left it on the table. They only cut the 3 tiered cake in very thin slices. That was one bummer since people missed out on my favorite cake. I didn't know until the end of the night. Not quite sure who to blame on that one..Aside from all that, the bridal suite is so beautiful and clean. The grooms suite is just as great as well. Everyone at our wedding party had a lot of fun and was stress free. We highly recommend this venue and believe that you will get the most out of your money. C\"mon, a beautiful chapel, enormous ball room, beautiful patio with fountains, amazing staff and YUMMY FOOD? Nothing beats that!

We LOVED The Bowden. The chapel and ballroom are beautiful. We visited about 12 venues before selecting The Bowden. We chose The Bowden for a couple of reasons..it was new, gorgeous and all the tables, chairs, linens, dishes, silverware, glassware, full kitchen (for their caterer or you can use one of their preferred caterers), dishwasher, set-up and clean-up were all included in the price. But what sealed the deal for us was the fact that The Bowden is owned and operated by the Keller Women's Foundation (a 501 c3) and all the proceeds benefit their charitable works! The facilities are amazing. The chapel is exquisite with bridal and groom suites that are huge compared to other venues. We used the spacious patio for the cocktail hour. The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful chandeliers and a wall of windows. Cristina and Emily were so professional and accommodating. They made our planning seamless. There are terrific sound, lighting and multi-media equipment in both areas. Their preferred vendor list is comprehensive and provides choices for most budgets and styles. We used Two Girls in Pearls for our coordinators on the day of the wedding. They took care of everything and coordinated with all our vendors. Tastefully Yours catered a delicious buffet dinner that was beautifully presented and served by a professional wait staff. Jenny Layne Bakery provided fantastic and delicious wedding and groom's cakes. Our live band, IDT with 1564 Entertainment, was FANTASTIC... so talented and entertaining. They played a dinner set and two dance sets and engaged the wedding party and guests. The dance floor was full all night! Their in-house beverage service provided a great bar, delicious signature drinks and had a sufficient number of bartenders. We had about 200 guests and almost all of them told us that this was, by far, the most beautiful (and FUN) wedding they had ever attended. We thought it was just perfect. I highly recommend The Bowden to those that want an elegant, sophisticated and worry-free experience.

We had our wedding at the Bowden in June 2018 and are SO in love with this venue! We knew about 2 minutes into our tour that this was the venue for us. The entire facility is absolutely stunning, and you can tell the staff is dedicated to the venue’s success. We used the Bowden catering and couldn’t be happier with it – the food was delicious, beautiful, and Cristina Mattoso was so helpful in getting it set up for us! The Holly chapel will take your breath away. Our tour was on a rainy day in December and our wedding was on a sunny day in the summer, and the chapel was beautiful in both. Truly magical walking down the aisle! The attached suites are also wonderful. One aspect we were really impressed with was the size of the groom’s suite. It’s almost as big as the bridal suite and made for a great place for the guys to hang out, as opposed to some other venues where the groom’s area is only slightly bigger than a closet. The bridal suite is beautiful and spacious, and has the best lighting for getting ready!The ballroom is so majestic and has large windows that look out at the patio and fountain. We only had ~140 guests and requested that the room divider be used to block off 1/3 of the ballroom, leaving us with 2/3. It looked great and you could hardly tell there was a divider. We loved being able to have beautiful, tall ceilings and sparkling chandeliers even though we had under 150 guests! The size of the room ended up being perfect for us, and I think it’s great that the facility has the capability of having a large space or smaller space depending on your needs. The attached patio is nice too - our guests loved taking photos on it (even in the 100 degree weather!). We have received endless compliments from our guests about this venue. I am so thankful this venue was built and gave us the beautiful chapel wedding that I have dreamed about for so long!

The Bowden is beautiful, immaculate condition and has a flexible space, easy to reduce the size of the banquet hall or enlarge it, great patio where we had our cocktail reception. The chapel is bight and cheerful, be careful though if you have a late afternoon wedding the setting sun beats in through the glass windows. The food was fabulous and there were abundant choices. Our biggest concern/criticism is the organization itself, it is run by the Keller Women’s club which we felt at times was extremely disorganized, the ladies we worked with were not friendly. Everything we asked for seemed to just be too much trouble. When booking the venue they say they include a day of coordinator. This coordinator was actually 3 different ladies and they are nothing more than a building monitor they are not there to assist with any of the needs on the day. We were fortunate to have vendors that were extremely organized and kept us on schedule. I would recommended hiring your own event coordinator who is actually there to help you keep to a schedule and make sure you and your guests are where they are supposed to be at the relevant times. They are also really inflexible, we asked if we could leave a 7 ft arch over night for pickup the next day, along with some other items and were told straight out no. Think about it, who wants to be moving stuff straight after the wedding, many people Uber and don’t even have their cars there. When we questioned the response the reply was arrogant and rude and along the lines of well that’s what all the other venues do, you’ll find no venue around here that allows you to do that. You have an amazing venue here designed to a very high standard and immaculate condition, with multiple wedding venues in the area try and outshine them by being the best, be number 1, hire experienced staff who’s priority is attention to detail and organization skills, don’t keep the inexperienced Keller Women’s club staff with attitude. Be flexible by allowing storage overnight. That will take this venue to the next level and offer an overall amazing experience, which don’t forget people are paying a high price for!

I would recommended hiring your own event coordinator who is actually there to help you keep to a schedule and make sure you and your guests are where they are supposed to be at the relevant times. They are also really inflexible, we asked if we could leave a 7 ft arch over night for pickup the next day, along with some other items and were told straight out no. Think about it, who wants to be moving stuff straight after the wedding, many people Uber and don’t even have their cars there. When we questioned the response the reply was arrogant and rude and along the lines of well that’s what all the other venues do, you’ll find no venue around here that allows you to do that. You have an amazing venue here designed to a very high standard and immaculate condition, with multiple wedding venues in the area try and outshine them by being the best, be number 1, hire experienced staff who’s priority is attention to detail and organization skills, don’t keep the inexperienced Keller Women’s club staff with attitude. Be flexible by allowing storage overnight. That will take this venue to the next level and offer an overall amazing experience, which don’t forget people are paying a high price for!

We are SO happy we chose to do our wedding at the Bowden! The staff is easy to work with, and the venue speaks for itself! It has a gorgeous chapel right next to the beautiful ballroom with chandeliers coming from the high ceilings, a beautiful lobby big enough to do a cocktail hour, and a back patio for the same purpose! It was also not too much more to have the venue for the whole day, so we chose to do that. We had an absolutely grand time and were so happy with the Bowden!

Absolutely Gorgeous venue. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to get married. They have strict rules about catering and drinks. Be aware that they may charge an extra fee for the dance floor installation. Even with that, the venue was gorgeous and the coordinators are helpful.

We have emailed and inquire several times via website.We called and received a call back w/ voicemail- we returned the call w/ no reply.We sent an email to the contact as requested on the voicemail, w/ our needs, guest size, and list of questions, still have not heard back. When we called their first question was our budget and they were more concerned w/ whether we could afford them- I definitely can and multiple venues in Dallas, TX. I was simply requesting to tour and obtain more information/rates. Poor communication, will not be investing further time into this venue.

I had my wedding at The Bowden in March 2018 and was very pleased with how everything turned out. We signed our contract before the venue even opened so we were a little nervous that it wasn't going to be what we were expecting but we were wrong!! We had several tours with Kyle, who is absolutely amazing, and even just popped in from time to time to see the progress and he would just show us around again! It makes a difference when someone is so excited about the venue as you are. The entire venue is absolutely breath taking and the views out the windows in the back kind of make you feel like you aren't in the middle of DFW! I initially liked the Bowden for all the windows as you don't need as many decoration to make the room pretty because it was already beautiful. All my guests were blown away with how gorgeous the wedding was because of this. Since we signed our contract before the opening, we had the venue the entire day. I couldn't image having it any other way! We arrived at 9 AM and the Bowden had already placed cups, napkins, ice and soda in our suites. I was very impressed by this. While we were getting ready, the staff was very accommodating of all of our needs and even helped us figure out how to get the music working! Everything about the day of was great and the staff continued to check on everyone and make sure they have everything they needed. Because I am in the hospitality industry and work with clients a lot, I do have to say that it was a little hard to work with the Bowden at the beginning because they did not know exactly what was going to be included in packages and forgot what they told me was included with mine and tried to make me pay for stuff that we had already discusses was included. I think this is just because the venue is so new and everyone is trying to figure out how the venue is ran. I wouldn't take that into consideration when thinking about booking the Bowden because I believe that will grow better with time! All in all, the staff was amazing, the venue was amazing and our wedding really was amazing because of the Bowden! I highly recommend!

The Bowden was so great to work with! Cristina really helped to make our wedding day all that we hoped it could be! One of the things that was really great was the size of the bridal suite. I had 6 bridesmaids, and we had plenty of room to get ready! We used the in-house chef for dinner, and we got so many compliments on the food. Delicious! We have also gotten so many comments on how beautiful The Bowden was. I really couldn't have asked for more.

Not worth the effort, what will they mess up on your actual wedding if they can't hold someone's date after they've already paid! The first double booking was over someone's else's date that had been booked for over 100 days, they didn't realize this for another two weeks after we signed a contract on the same date.

We went and saw the Bowden center right when it opened. We absolutely loved it, I saw pictures online and we were ready to put our deposit down immediately! So we went to have a tour and loved it (as expected). We had several questions for which we asked and she informed us she would get back to us... she never got back to us even with emails and phone calls multiple times to them. I have no idea what happened but im so disappointed in the venue and the management

We booked before it was even halfway finished based on concept drawing and it lived up to every expectation. The Holly Chapel, Greater Keller Ballroom and the bride and groom's suites are gorgeous and spacious and we received many compliments on the venue. Cristina, Kyle, and Emily are wonderful to work with and very professional! They helped us plan for every detail. They were alway quick to respond to every question or concern. I would recommend The Bowden to anyone looking for a beautiful place to host an event.

The Bowden was absolutely the perfect venue! We booked the venue when they were beginning construction but from all of the conceptual pics I knew it would be amazing. Our wedding was one of the first couple of weddings at the venue which made it even more exciting! Cristina Mattoso (the Director of Sales) was very responsive and open to all of our needs. She made sure that I had everything I needed for my wedding day. The bridal and grooms suites are very spacious and comfortable for getting relaxing and getting ready! The chapel is absolutely stunning! I had about 230 guests and everyone was able to sit comfortably.Everything about this venue was awesome and our guests were so impressed by it. If you’re looking for a venue in the DFW area I would strongly suggest checking out the Bowden! It’ll be the best decision you make for your wedding.
