Historic Venue Minutes From the Beach
Located in Little River, SC, The Brentwood is a charming mansion wedding venue. The Victorian-style exterior offers a scenic backdrop to your day's festivities, with a touch of historic authenticity. The city of Myrtle Beach is just a short distance away, while the waters of the Atlantic are even closer. Local sea merchant Clarence McCorsley built The Brentwood in 1910 to be his wife's dream home, making it a romantic setting for your wedding. Events coordinator Makayla Cox is ready to help couples make the most of the house's history and charm. She is passionate about helping people bring their dream to life, whatever it may take. She is happy to look after the details to help keep your stress levels to a minimum. Makayla works closely with the home's owners, Johnson Lewis, with an immense restaurant business experience. The Brentwood offers to-be-weds a hillside setting, outdoor banquet area, and restaurant for wedding celebrations. Couples can avail of the front and side lawns for a picturesque outdoor reception, while the restaurant offers a more intimate indoor space. A covered pavilion can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. In this space, the couple and their loved ones can marvel at a koi pond, waterfall, and three-tiered fountain. There's also an outdoor kitchen for your catering team to use. The team at this mansion is happy to share a list of recommended vendors to help inspire your planning. Your wedding cake, and menu at large, will be provided by Chef Steve and his culinary team. He focuses on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients but adds a French spin to his dishes. Your meal can be served in a variety of styles, including as hors d'oeuvres or at stations.

We recently had our wedding at The Brentwood and we couldn’t say enough good things about it! From service to the venue itself, we were extremely happy with them. Amy and Jacque were absolutely amazing, detail oriented, and are absolute sweethearts! Chef Eric made sure our food was top notch and divine! They went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you for all you did. You guys have a great team! Every employee added something special to our day. Thank you all! So if you’re wondering if you should book your wedding here, do it!

Brentwood helped us execute a small but grand wedding reception. The room we rent was already beautiful so we didn’t need many decorations. The food and service was excellent. I was very happy with how everything turned out.

The Brentwood makes it so easy to get married. They handle everything for you so you don’t have to worry. Plus the food is AMAZING. Amy, Eric, Jackie, and Bianca are wonderfully professional, sweet, and so proficient to work with. I cannot highly recommend enough, them and the staff, they will truly make your day magical. No stress whatsoever! :) it rained a little on our wedding day, and they handled it to help us feel more comfortable. We were so happy with the way it turned out! Thank you Brentwood! We get to come back for our anniversaries now :)

The Brentwood was amazing from the first day of planning through a week after our wedding. Eric is incredibly accommodating and nice. He walked us through the whole process in a zero-pressure way and handled food, the ceremony site, reception site, alcohol...pretty much everything but the DJ, photographer and cake (and of course he had recommendations for those)! We even did the rehearsal dinner at the restaurant and it was also flawless. The venue was beautiful in early May for our wedding, the temperature was pretty much perfect and the flowers were blooming. I cannot recommend Eric and The Brentwood enough. The food was great, his whole staff was incredible and it was fantastic to have one person to work with for so many of the wedding details.

The Brentwood Restaurant was such a beautiful place for our reception. The food was excellent, the staff was just great, providing drinks, bringing out the champagne, food, etc. The whole night was just fantastic! We worked directly with Chef Eric and he was great! He emailed and answered any questions we had, we even visited a few times and each time we’re very pleased! We would recommend them to anyone!
