We just had our wedding last night at the Briarcliff Manor, magical is an understatement. Everything went so well, and if anything ever did go wrong, our wedding planner Emily King and her amazing assistants were right there, and we had no idea! Everything went so smoothly, and it was everything we wanted and more. We are still reveling from the experience, and how everyone was engaged and involved the entire night. Wedding planning with Emily was such an amazing, invaluable experience. Her expertise, connections, patience, and drive to make sure everything was in place and exactly the way we wanted was above and beyond our expectations. Leading up to the wedding, she made a process that should’ve been very stressful, a positive and fun experience. On the day of and the day of the rehearsal, her presence brought such calmness and we were able to trust her with all the details of the day and just enjoy and live in the moment. I basically felt zero stress that day, which is crazy considering I have a tendency to stress for everything!! Our guests were greeted, and treated so well the whole night. Such a beautiful venue with a kind and knowledgeable staff. Thank you so much to everyone, and you should definitely get married here!!! Reviewed on 30-12-2023

Hey! I’m Stephanie and I got married on March 4, 2023. I’m not sure where to begin about explaining how amazing this day was. From the beginning of the planning process to the big day, everything was just so seamless and smooth. I was under a year away from my wedding date when I booked The Briarcliff Manor and usually that would be nerve wracking but the whole team helped me along the way! I’ve always dreamt about my wedding and it felt like my vision of it may be out of my reach but I can’t say it enough, The Briarcliff Manor made it come true and even exceeded my dreams! All my friends and family were telling us how gorgeous the venue is. The food to this day is something that always comes back up in conversation, especially the brisket tacos! We even had a cousin that came up to us during the wedding that stated how they would love a wedding just like ours.A special shout-out to Emily for helping me not to overthink the little details and to assure me that everything will be beautiful, and it sure was! The Briarcliff Manor Team calmed my nerves, made us feel like family and made my wedding day one that we will never forget! Words will never be enough to explain how thankful we are! The staff at The Briarcliff Manor were an incredible team to work with throughout our wedding day! Alex, Kelsey, Emily and Perry were all extremely attentive and on top of any and every issue that possibly arose that day, taking all that pressure off of my husband and I. The ceremony was moved indoors due to weather and it was still absolutely beautiful and the entire day was more than we could have asked for. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with a team of people who are genuinely there to help make your day as memorable and beautiful as possible than look no further than The Briarcliff Manor. Even two months later, guests are still raving about food, the beauty of the venue and how smooth the day ran. We are so happy that we chose The Briarcliff Manor and their amazing team! Emily, Perry, Vincenza, Stephanie, Kelsey and the whole team at the briarcliff manor truly couldn’t have put more thought and care into making our day perfect. Despite the rain, they made the indoor ceremony absolutely stunning and everything we could’ve hoped for. The cocktail hour was so fun, and the staff made sure we never didn’t have food or drink in hand. They brought us to the private room to enjoy some quiet time to eat before we went to our reception. Everything was stunning, and we didn’t have to think or plan a thing that day they took care of it all. Truly the best day we could’ve had! Reviewed on 25-09-2023

Planning a wedding takes time. Imagine trying to plan one in just two months. We were very fortunate to find The Briarcliff Manor in such a short time. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was the place for us. It has character, charm and elegance. It is definitely stands out from most wedding venues. The grounds and river view are gorgeous for pictures. The cocktail hour and the food was delicious. The guests expressed how beautiful the place was and how much they enjoyed the food. The team they have is amazing. We could not have done it without Perry, Emily and Vincenza. I also want to give a huge shoutout to STEPHANIE, the bridal attendant. She was always one step ahead anticipating every need. She was so well prepared that she blew me away.Everyone walked away saying that it did not feel like this wedding ceremony and reception was planned in just two months. The Briarcliff Manor is a lovely venue, well-maintained with gorgeous grounds and a beautiful interior. For 75 guests, it provided the perfect space for a cozy and intimate wedding. Throughout the entire event, there were plenty of staff members on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly and according to schedule. At some moments, we felt slightly rushed, but their efficiency was certainly undeniable. The food was delicious, and guests were particularly impressed with the cocktail hour offerings. It’s worth keeping in mind that while the reception tables can seat up to twelve people, they’re actually quite cramped with even eleven. Nine to ten people per table worked better and allowed everyone more space. The wedding was overall quite successful owing to the venue’s high level of organization and experience, and we deeply appreciated that the staff gave us an extra hour to fit in a few more photos, despite being tired from a long week of work. My bridal attendant Stephanie was also amazingly courteous and patient, making sure I had everything I needed and offering assistance until the very last minute. One of the servers, Jimmy, was especially attentive and very sweet—he was mentioned to me by several guests. However, collaborating with this venue was quite frustrating for me, and the stress of the entire planning process was greatly exacerbated by lack of communication on the venue’s side. I do understand this was one of their busiest seasons, and they were definitely swamped with work, so slow replies were to be expected. Still, I had to constantly reiterate questions and requests, especially the ones sent through the client portal, which were seemingly ignored or not received most of the time. Even in the days leading up to the wedding, there was virtually no communication, and we received almost no replies to emails or texts.I also didn’t feel the venue was particularly accommodating throughout the planning process, and there seemed to be many restrictions in place, although we were allowed relatively more freedom the day of. At some point between cocktail hour and reception, perhaps while the tables were being moved, the reception place cards became completely disarranged. Luckily, my friends discovered and rectified the situation, but the staff members were initially unhappy with them, claiming that the placement was correct. One staff member was seen speaking rudely to some of my guests, even losing her temper momentarily.Additionally, the venue neglected to follow through in some aspects—we paid for 81 guests and were promised during the final meeting that we would receive takeaway meals in compensation for the 6 who did not come. However, those meals were not packed for us and, being in a huge rush to leave, we didn’t remember to ask. I had assumed the coordinator would have made the appropriate arrangements to honor our agreement, but I was sadly disappointed. Similarly, the venue agreed earlier to provide a gold cake stand, but upon learning that our baker (a family friend) had brought one herself, immediately told us their own cake stand would require a rental fee. Perhaps I was just unlucky to have booked my event during such a busy time, when the venue was too overworked to take care of all the details. The wedding was still very enjoyable, and I appreciate the venue and its staff for their hard work in making my big day a success. Reviewed on 21-08-2023

We got married at The Briarcliff Manor on 7/22/23 and could not have had a better day! The manor and grounds are absolutely stunning and a selling point on their own. However, the venue and venue staff as a whole was incredible! Alex was our bridal attendant and the day would have not been the same without her! She went above and beyond for us and took care of everything. From the moment we arrived that afternoon, we were well taken care of- she kept us on schedule, made sure we had everything and anything we needed, communicated any last minute wishes to vendors, just all around incredible! We used the in house florist, Decor by Vincenza and our florals and decor were perfect and just as we had hoped! We used Emily for our day or coordination and she ensured all of our plans went off without a hitch, coordinated with all the vendors, and when our guest book couldn’t be found, even went out to purchase one for us to use instead! All of our guests felt well taken care of, catered to, the food was absolutely incredible, and when things went awry the staff handled it seamlessly! We couldn’t have had a more perfect day! Perry/Emily ruined our first dance, skimped on food, and were rude to guests. Our guests were the ones who told us what a poor job they did and encouraged us to write this review in hopes that future couples will avoid this nightmare. They never apologized and threatened us to take this review down (after trying to delete it). Perry ruined our first dance by playing his version of our song even though our DJ spent 20 minutes with Perry preloading our song (which was a mashup) and tested the volume. Perry played his version of the song THREE TIMES on repeat and our mash up song never came on. He lowered the music so low that none of our guests (who were <2 feet away) could hear it. We have video evidence of this and were dancing awkwardly to no music like fools. People had no idea what was going on. The worst part is my husband previously spent 20 min during cocktail hour to sort it out with the DJ and Perry. He missed a lot of the food and our limited time with our guests.Perry didn’t bother apologizing for his mistake, which is in sharp contrast to our DJ who apologized multiple times (even though it wasn’t his fault)! Our DJ had preloaded his mix tape AND tested the volume with Perry before the dance. All Perry had to do was press play!!!Despite paying for 75 guests, there was not enough food for our 64 guests. Some guests told us they didn’t get steak and dinner portions were small. We paid extra for an upgraded coffee bar and desserts but didn’t get it. We paid for 7 appetizers but guests said they only received 3-4. My family tried looking for all of them. My brother asked a waiter for more and the waiter walked away. My husband noticed the poutin ran out and he asked Jimmy to bring more out after 20 min of it not being refilled. Jimmy (bless him!) was the only sweet one there and brought it out immediately. Jimmy was very attentive to us, smiled and anticipated things before we even needed to ask for it. At the end of the night, people were supposed to get water, pretzels and sandwiches and Perry/staff did not pass them out. No announcement was made for the end of the night treats, which we paid extra for. Two of our friends thankfully noticed and grabbed the baskets of sandwiches and started giving them to guests as they were leaving. We brought food from an outside vendor, and somehow some of our guests didn’t get walnut shrimps. They limited the portions so a small plate served 6 people. See attached photo. WHERE WAS THE REST OF OUR CATERED FOOD?!Perry called THE DAY BEFORE our wedding to complain and ask for more money. He was upset that we were close to our headcount of 75. Our guest count was 64 and we had 8 vendors which is still less than 75. We PAID for 75 people so why would he need more money?! He said our wedding was more work because it was outdoors and the potential rain added extra stress. These are things he knew in advance so why was he complaining to us about this the day before?!We tipped them $1000 at the beginning of our wedding night in hopes of better service (this is on top of the 22% tips and 10% tax we already paid). Day of coordination was a mess. I was not given notice before something happened and was just rushed to go somewhere. For example, my bridesmaids were not notified of our dance so they missed it :( our videographer said he almost missed the cake cutting because no one told him it was happening but thankfully our videographer was observant and ran over. Two friends came 30 min early to help set up the place cards and Emily snapped at my friends. Emily still messed up the place card seating so guests didn’t know where to sit. I actually made several guests get up from their seats and moved them so that they were sitting at the right table. It seems everything major went wrong but even other items that shouldn’t have been an issue, were issues:- They didn’t serve the bottom layer of our cake, which we had no idea until guests told us that they didn’t see the third flavor of the cake. Perry didn’t bother telling us. We didn’t get to eat the top tier on our one year anniversary.- No one told us the photo booth was set up so we paid for three hours but our guests only used it for one hourThings are bound to go wrong at weddings but they ruined so many IMPORTANT moments - all of which are captured on our wedding video. It makes me cry when I watch our wedding video because so many things went wrong that it felt purposeful. How could they be so awful? :( I hope no other couple experiences this. Note we are not writing this because we are getting paid / got a discount for our wedding. We simply had an amazing experience and want to share it given selecting a venue is such a big decision. We got married at The Briarcliff Manor in April and had an overall fantastic experience with the whole process. When we were shopping wedding venues a year beforehand, The Briarcliff Manor stood out from the start. It wasn’t just the beautiful manor and backdrop that blew us away, but the staff as well – Perry, Vincenza, and especially Emily King, who we hired as our day-of coordinator. They all made us feel very welcome from the start, and that continued throughout the entire planning process and with every in-person visit that we made. They were very responsive and also extremely flexible and accommodating with our requests. While they have a few different wedding packages to choose from, they were happy to continue customizing everything as we worked to finalize our guest count. We are both big foodies and can say that all the food here was incredible (our guests also raved about the food). The staff were all extremely respectful and the whole reception felt very ‘homey’ (my drink was never empty). Perry was even there the whole time to make sure everything was running smoothly. Safe to say everyone had an amazing time!As mentioned, we hired Emily as our day-of coordinator and that was easily the best decision we could have made. A day-of coordinator, at a minimum, is essential to being able to enjoy your wedding day. From several months out, Emily started coordinating periodic update meetings with us to help her get a better sense of how we imagined things and which vendors we were thinking about using. She also gave us her recommendations / experience with everything, which proved helpful as she had a good rapport with many of the vendors we ended up using. She always catered to our availability, whether our check-in calls be late at night or over the weekends as we both have busy schedules and live in NYC. As we got closer to wedding day, Emily coordinated directly with all of our vendors – sending them the schedule of events, delivery schedules, etc. She even helped deliver our wedding favors to our hotel herself. And on our wedding day, it unfortunately was raining, but Emily already had Plan B in motion from the start. She personally delivered breakfast for the bridal party, and her assistants helped coordinate the shuttle transportation for the guests. Emily also personally came to our hotel to pick up the wedding dress and anything else we needed to bring to Briarcliff Manor (she made sure everything was under her direct watch). Throughout the day, Emily and her team made sure we were both fed and relaxed. She would help sneak us away a few minutes before the next portion of events so we could enjoy a few bites and just have some time to ourselves. Without her, I’m not so certain that we would’ve found time to enjoy the hors d’oeuvres with so many guests to say hi to. But we were definitely glad we were able to find time to enjoy the food because it was all so good! Long story short, beautiful venue with caring and respectful staff. I would recommend The Briarcliff Manor to all of my family / friends and would highly encourage everyone to hire Emily as a day-of coordinator – it will make your day better and more relaxed! Emily made sure that my husband and I took time to be together and be in the moment, which I appreciate so much. The reception space is beautiful and the staff is so professional. We and our guests felt so taken care of! Apart from the space and staff, the food was absolutely a hit. Peter Driscoll-Kwan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-11-2022 We had our wedding reception at The Briarcliff Manor in November 2022, and it was AMAZING! We highly recommend using The Briarcliff Manor as your wedding reception venue: Emily (the director of events) and her team did a fabulous job every step of the way!We immediately fell in love with the historic manor: it exuded classiness, tradition, and elegance. We were impressed with the food and beverages offerings, which exceeded those of their competitors. Emily King answered all of our questions and was very patient and helpful throughout the consultation process. The food was delicious. During our tasting (approximately 3 months before our wedding), we sampled many different options. Their bartender provided samples of two unique cocktails they could make, and was open to suggestions. This ultimately allowed us to choose a Trader Vic's original Mai Tai (think rum punch, without the dark floater) as our signature cocktail. They provided numerous options for our guests with gluten intolerances and our vegetarian/vegan friends and family. On the day of, the venue looked beautiful! We did a lot of the decor ourselves, and Emily worked with us to pre-position decorations and flowers so that we had less to do day-of. We did our own DIY florals (from Costco), which turned out beautifully. One small surprise for us was the venue's \"setup fee,\" which surfaced after a consultation with Vincenza, their in-house design specialist. The setup fee was about $500 for DIY flowers. However, Vincenza was able to rent us linens, chargers, vases, and a cake stand, which helped reduce our burden. We had to constantly reiterate our vision to Vincenza, but luckily Emily and our MC were able to make it a reality. Our cocktail hour was outdoors, on their beautiful back lawn overlooking the Hudson River. The Briarcliff Manor put out more than enough heat lamps (like you see in outdoor restaurant seating) and built a medium-sized bonfire in the fire pit. The amount of food and beverages for the cocktail hour was exceptional: there was so much! All of our guests raved about the food and beverage options at the cocktail hour. The ballroom looked stunning. The team made our vision of a classy, elegant, yet cozy wedding come to life - no easy feat when you have 140+ guests! Table service was prompt and attentive. Our guests ordered their meals at the table, which helped eliminate the hassle of pre-ordering via guests' RSVPs. The kitchen did a phenomenal job getting everyone's meals out on time. Chris, the maitre'd, kept everything running smoothly. He and our MC perfectly timed everything so that guests could eat, dance, and drink throughout the night. We want to point out a few things for out-of-town couples. We communicated pretty effectively with Emily and The Briarcliff Manor team via email throughout our 11-month planning process. We made regular payments in-person (about every 3 months) and were generally able to schedule those payments with a consult, or a vendor fair, etc. The Briarcliff Manor graciously offered us a cash discount. They also offered a $5 per person incentive, which we applied to a special option (lamb) for our cocktail hour. We had to be very clear about our DIY plans and vision, especially because it was out of the norm for Vincenza, but everything worked out well. Emily was fantastic to work with: thank you for all your help!We loved our wedding at The Briarcliff Manor: thank you for an exceptional event! Reviewed on 29-01-2023

I was very stressed out the week before making sure everything was going to go over smoothly and coordinating all the vendors. A few days before it called for rain and I was devastated. It ended up sprinkling when we were outside the church after the ceremony. My biggest concern was they would move cocktail hour inside and I was so upset. It’s such a beautiful view too. At 5:30 Perry was going to make the call to either have it inside or outside. 5:30 hit and the sun came out and it was beautiful! Thankfully we were able to have cocktail hour outside and our guests loved it and the view! The staff was wonderful and attentive. They made sure my husband and I ate and the food was outstanding! My mom had trouble bustling my dress but Rebecca was able to do for me which helped tremendously. Both bridal attendants were absolutely wonderful. The room was beautiful too. I asked if they could set up a memorial table for my father who has passed and it was so touching to see it. We also went with the open air photo booth that Vincenza set up and it was so cute! The only thing was the neon sign we had put on the greenery was a little high and got cut off in the printed pictures. I also thought the photo booth would be on the other side of the venue. It was kind of hidden and a lot of guests didn’t even know it was there. We added on cappuccino and zeppoles but again it was where the photo booth was and not everyone saw it. The zeppoles were never put out either so that was a little bit of a bummer since we paid for it. Other than those two small issues, it was perfect. The waitstaff and attendants were incredibly friendly and helpful. Perry, Vincenza, Emily, Stephanie, Ava, and team were fantastic. We hired Emily as our 3 Month and Day-Of Coordinator, and she helped us stay organized and feel assured with all details and choices we had to make. We knew they were very busy with a packed (and backlogged) wedding season, so there were times that we were nervous they didn't have complete bandwidth for us. But, as we suspected all through the process, everything came together beautifully in the end, and the day of was seamless and stress-free. Emily, Stephanie, Ava and staff did a great job keeping us focused on what mattered while they handled all the details. Worthwhile to know that bridal parties cannot get fully ready at the manor, but we had a very smooth experience getting ready at the hotel (Sonesta), and then shuttling to the manor early (we paid for two extra hours of time) for photos and final prep. The Briarcliff Manor is easy to get to from the city and of course from Westchester, with plenty of parking. It was the perfect \"Hudson Valley wedding\" nearby the city. Highly recommended! The venue is spacious which was important for us city people, gorgeous being so close to the Hudson River and romantic with the fine touches of a restored manor house. We wanted a black tie, mansion vibe and thats exactly what Briarcliff Manor gave us. Throughout the planning process the venue was responsive and welcomed us with open arms right away . We went with their full-day buy-out package which was perfect for a day of ceremony rehearsal (all our bridal party came in from out of town) and time pre-ceremony for first look and bridal party + family portraits so we had them out of the way to enjoy our evening. The food is chef's kiss!! We decided to do our own decor due to vision differences with their in house person and they were very accommodating with our items. However, it is important that couples know that they have outdoor amplification rules and their license limits the number of band members you may have. Additionally, I am a very type A, clear and responsive person so due to Briarcliff's busy wedding schedule some things seemed a bit disorganized and at times left like our wedding was on the back burner. Don't let this discourage you as everything fell into place and was exactly what we wanted! I highly recommend this stunning venue! Reviewed on 09-09-2022

Dasom No(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-12-2021 I just want to say that choosing the Briarcliff Manor was absolutely the best and most important decision that we made in our wedding planning. We just had our wedding last Saturday, Dec 18th 2021, during the omicron surge. The Briarcliff Manor was flexible with the minimum guest count considering the situation, and our lower guest count coupled with their wonderful room layout and service made our wedding cozy and legendary. We had a picky vision - we wanted our wedding to be classic and intimate yet easy going - for example, my gown was a full blown princess ball gown from Kleinfeld, but we still wanted a less formal vibe for the guests’ comfort. This was only possible because of the great combination of Perry’s family style hospitality, Emily’s steadfast coordination and Jimmy’s professional white glove table service. Every single one of our guests had a smile from ear to ear every moment. The food was worth five times the price. Especially their passed hor d'oeuvres were so delicious. Their entree quality and enormous variety of great desserts were talked about by our guests even days later. We were so concerned waking up on a rainy day for our wedding in December. But the mist outside and the beautiful staircase and lit fireplace inside were more than enough for the magic (and photographs). All the vendors that they recommended were good - particularly our MC, Joe at Big Town Productions was exceptional!!We didn’t prepare wedding favors. But Emily coordinated hundreds of individually wrapped chocolate covered strawberries for us to give out. They were perfectly presented for our guests at the exit, and everyone loved them. Overall, our wedding was beyond our dreams, more perfect than we ever imagined. Just a perfect story book wedding with the Briarcliff Manor family. No other venue could possibly have done better for us. Reviewed on 24-12-2021

My wife and I were sold the moment we walked through the door for our venue tour. Emily did a walkthrough of the venue and showed us the property. One of the biggest draws, a bride AND groom suite, and having exclusive rights to the property the day of the event. Perry, the owner even introduced himself and got us mimosas to sip while going over every detail of how he and his team would make sure our wedding day was spectacular. We were sold and booked that same day. The lead up to, and planning for the big day was made easy thanks to Emily who was our contact person with Briarcliff. She was always available for any questions we had. Vincenza, Perry’s wife handled decor and flowers. She went above and beyond to make sure the aesthetics of the venue were top notch. The day of, the entire was was A+. We had an issue with our transportation company which was all handled by perry and Emily. Perry was even able to book us another company at 7pm the night of the event to ensure all our guests had a safe ride to the hotel at the end of the night. My wife had nothing but positive things to say about her bridal attendant who made sure she always had a drink in her hand, something to snack on and anything else she needed. The food service team made sure cocktail hour and dinner went smooth, all were great and an important part to making sure the night went smoothly. The most important part of any wedding in our minds is food, and let me tell you the food was top notch. Not one person complained about any of the food that was offered and everything my wife and I ate could’ve been served at a 5 star restaurant. I bet even Gordon Ramsey would be impressed. All in all my wife and I were so glad we booked our big day with Perry and his team at the beautiful Briarcliff manor. We were given every option that the guests were given and everything was delicious from the appetizers to dessert. Perry, the owner, was present throughout the entire event and went out of his way to check in with every table and introduce himself. Emily, the event coordinator, set up everything beautifully and arranged everything we can possibly think of and never left a stone unturned. Molly, one of the event staff, was always present to help me get water, assist me with going up the stairs in my dress, or getting us safety pins. And Larry, our waiter, was always present to help my husband fill up his drink or get something to eat. I could go on and on about everything but it probably wouldn’t fit in this text box. Not only is the venue gorgeous - front, back, inside, bridal suite, everything - the food was phenomenal. It’s one of the few venues I saw pictures of online that actually matched in person. I could really go on and on about the food/ beauty of this place forever and so did all our guests after the wedding! Bonus- no carpet and being the only bride! Loved that! But the real reason I’m giving a 5/star review is because of the team. We were supposed to get married in May and had to postpone due to Covid. Emily was a saint during the entire process and really went above and beyond to provide solutions and accommodate us while also navigating completely new territory. I can’t even begin to imagine what goes on behind the scenes and the updates they were getting and the countless other couples calling during this time but anytime I called , emailed or texted her I always felt “taken care of”. They were open and honest about what they were able to do for us and were so flexible with last minute guest list changes, table updates, etc. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day! Lastly, I do need also mention that we used their in-house event designer who also did an incredible job with our floral. Dawn Ryan(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-11-2019 We stumbled upon The Briarcliff Manor after weeks of hunting around venues, trying dozens of different dates, and really struggling with finding a place that could fit our party size for our budget. Thank God we found Briarcliff. Perry really made us feel comfortable and at home, like we were in good hands. The venue is stunningly beautiful (really, I cannot stress this enough), the food was spectacular, and the service on our wedding day was excellent. However, we can’t ignore that there were definitely some struggles with the venue leading up to our big day. It seemed like more than once lines of communication were crossed, like we were answering key questions more than once, and that the venue was telling us about new restrictions and last-minute changes just days before the wedding that we should have been told about months in advance… It felt like things could be going more smoothly than they were. For a place that could be one of the grandest wedding venues in Westchester, it felt like their project management and customer service could have been a little better. We were thrilled that our event came together and looked beautiful, but we could have used fewer last-minute venue problems. Back to positives, The Briarcliff Manor thankfully was very amenable to us wanting to bring in our own decor, flowers, and cake. The menu was quite extensive and had plenty of wiggle room for dietary restrictions and specific requests. The room was set perfectly when we moved inside with all of the decor done by Vincenza herself, exactly to our specifications. Emily, Jessica, and the rest of the team we’re right by our sides throughout the night for anything we needed, including making sure we were not just taking the important photos with the photographers, but enjoying our own event! Our friends and family are still talking about what an amazing time they had, and my only wish is that we could have stayed all night! Anna Fontana(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-07-2019 My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Briarcliff Manor in July 2019. From the start, we felt at home at the Manor, between the warm atmosphere and the down to earth owners. The Manor had many selling points for us - an intimate setting with a vintage vibe, only one wedding at a time, not the same venue as all our family and friends used, and mainly, the ability to personalize and customize many aspects of our wedding. Perry sold us from the start on the idea of being able to tweak the menu to include items we wanted that represented us. Leading up to the wedding, we worked mainly with Emily, who took all our suggestions and comments in stride and made it all happen! (We were pretty particular about all our details.) At times we had a little back and forth about the details, but ultimately, Perry and Emily worked to satisfy our desires and make our vision come true. We are so glad that we chose The Briarcliff Manor to host our family and friends for such an important day in our lives. The service, the food, the view and the ambiance are all A+++! We had our brunch wedding there 4/6/2019 and it was everything we could have ever envisioned. The food is phenomenal and high quality. The chef and kitchen staff serve food that one would get at a high-end restaurant, individualized to our event. The day-of service staff is attentive, detail-oriented, and friendly. Robert, the maitre d' at our event, was amazing and ensured we had everything we needed and wanted. He showed us all the buffet food before serving, and made our plates for us in addition to an elderly family member who has trouble walking. These are examples of the personal touches you can expect from the staff at The Briarcliff Manor. We really felt like they were taking care of us. Perry, the owner, was also present at the event and involved in the day-of tasks. Emily, our coordinator, coordinated the rehearsal efficiently, and knew the best way to have the ceremony flow. During the day of our wedding, Emily was running around and ensured everything went smoothly, from the timeline to the ruffling of my dress before the ceremony. Of course, the venue is beautiful inside and out, and a unique location within Westchester County. Due to the weather, our wedding party arrived earlier than planned for the reception, they were ready for us with food and champagne. When there was a last minute change/addition to our seating, I told Emily and she took care of it quickly and set my mind at ease. During the cocktail hour, they brought us a sampling of the cocktail food so we could take pictures without going hungry. Which brings me to the food, it was absolutely delicious and service was great. Everyone raved about it. My husband got a sample of each of the main courses. Perry (owner) was exceptionally helpful and brought years of experience and event planning to the table. He was able to guide us and more importantly, our daughter and son in law, through and around some of the common mistakes, couples often make. Emily and my wife and daughter kept an open line of communication through out the entire planning process. At no time did we feel ignored or unimportant. The afternoon of the event, the wedding party was greeted and escorted to the Bridal Suite. The service staff was exceptionally attentive and both invisible and everywhere. The Bridal Party wanted for nothing, that was not anticipated by the staff. As the Ceremony Time drew near, the party was kept segregated, while the guests enjoyed the grounds and the beautiful view of the Hudson River. The view that greeted my daughter and I, as I walked her down the isle, was simply magnificent. The sunset was beginning while the ceremony took place. Our guests have all said that they NEVER noticed the staff transform the seating area into a magnificent sunset cocktail hour. A feat I had feared would be intrusive was completely unnoticed. Again, the staff was superb. The cocktail hour was expansive and varied as well as delicious. The Dinning Room looked beautiful. The DJ was set up in such a way to be front and center while blending into the decor so as not to be over powering. Our daughter was fearful that obligatory functions would eat up too much dancing time. Her fears were baseless. The DJ along with Robert with Emily saw to it that meal service and music were melded into a perfect evening which, acknowledged tradition while allowing our guests plenty of dancing time. Ashley Carrano(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-09-2017 After months of searching high and low for the perfect venue, we knew that after our first visit to The Briarcliff Manor, this was it and that the search was FINALLY over! From the magnificent building structure to the breathtaking scenery and beautifully kept landscape, BM offers a warm, inviting, and picture-perfect environment for a special experience. BM is not only beautiful but also offers a rich historical background, which Perry (the owner) is quite fond of and talks about with such pleasure. The interior of the mansion is updated to provide aesthetic appeal. There are two beautiful marble fireplaces in the main dining room and original iron gates that offer such detail. The main dining room looks out to a beautifully kept lawn that overlooks the Hudson River. The views are superb. Perry, Vencenza, and Jamie and the rest of the staff were absolutely delightful to work with. It did not feel as though we were working with business owners, rather family. The hours we spent with them and the countless hugs provided reassurance that our day would go as smoothly as possible. Perry worked with us in developing a tasteful menu and all for an affordable price. They even offered valet to accommodate our guests. All of our guests cannot stop ranting and raving about BM. Our guests told us that this was hands down one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever been to. Every detail, with the help of our other vendors, was to perfection. The Briarcliff worked as a team with all of our vendors, who even complimented the helpfulness of the staff and said they look forward to in the future. Chris and I would like to personally thank Perry and all of the staff at the BM for making our day so magical. We are so happy to have gained new friends and memories to last a lifetime. We highly recommend the BM - it has it all, from looks and glamour, to charm, and an amazing staff! It is a must-see! We can't wait to be invited back! Reviewed on 05-11-2017
Regina Kalinsky(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-08-2017 My husband and I were married at the Briarcliff Manor in August 2017. We couldn't have asked for a better day! From A-Z the service was by far, above and beyond. From the moment we booked the venue to the night of our wedding - the staff's attention to detail, recommendations and genuine love for their work made our party one that our guests will always remember. The food was excellent (I'm a vegan and my husband is not, so it was important that we offer guests both vegan and non-vegan options for the cocktail hour and reception). Overall, we have so many great things to say about our special day! It's hard to capture our experience in a review, so please see below for some specific comments:Venue: Beautiful, classic and elegant. Very charming (not at all ostentatious) and can be decorated to suit your theme/preference with the help of Vincenza. Ceremony was held outdoors - we had a slight chance of rain on our wedding day, but Perry and his staff said that the would hold up our Chuppa in the event it started to rain during the ceremony. The grooms and bridesmaids suites are gorgeous for photos (as is the rest of the property - especially the front)Food/Booze: Delicious and easily able to satisfy meat eating and vegan/vegetarian or GF diets. Just ask! I was impressed with what the venue was able to come up with. Service: Excellent! Very accommodating and helpful. Planning a wedding is a stressful life moment - the last thing anybody needs is more stress. The Briarcliff Manor staff don't seem to get stressed out, they just get it done!Decor/flowers: Vincenza delivered everything I wanted! We received so many compliments and were impressed with the final look when we stepped into the reception shortly after our outdoor ceremony.Proximity to local hotel: It's not a bad ride for guests! It's about a 15-20 minute shuttle ride from where we stayed (DoubleTree). The Briarcliff is slightly hidden on the top of a hill so the ride to the top is a bit exciting because you're not sure what to expect until you get there.Again, we highly recommend this venue! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, delicious and FUN evening! Reviewed on 16-10-2017

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and our guests were amazed by the sunset! Perry, Vincenza, and Jamie made us feel like part of the family during the planning process - they always knew who we were as soon as we walked in the door and greeted us with hugs. The food was SPECTACULAR, especially for cocktail hour. Several people said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we are so happy we found this venue! Reviewed on 11-10-2017
