A historic venue in a lakeside village

The Cadillac House Inn and Tavern is a wedding venue located in the village of Lexington, MI. One of the most historically significant buildings in the area, the hotel was opened in 1860 and hosted guests until the mid-twentieth century. During its 150-year history, the inn has been a hub for entertainment and fine dining in this charming resort town. Starting in 2016, the grand white facade, first-floor tavern, and 12 guest suites were lovingly restored by the new owners. These features now reflect the building’s storied past while offering modern comfort and luxurious amenities. Conveniently located on the edge of Lake Huron, just 20 miles from Port Huron, the venue is an easy distance from the Detroit Metropolitan area. It is an elegant escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, where you can celebrate your special day in a quaint lakeside village. The Cadillac House Inn and Tavern is beautifully appointed with hardwood floors, wrought-iron light fixtures, and vintage-inspired furnishings. Its crown molding, original front porch, and rooftop cupola have been painstakingly recreated, while an impressive fireplace and chimney create a romantic and cozy ambiance. Ceremonies can be held in the “Hidden Cavern” event space, which is under construction until April 2021, while receptions are hosted in the newly-refurbished tavern. Dinner will be fully catered by the Cadillac House Inn and Tavern, which offers an extensive menu of local fare. Featured appetizers include pulled pork nachos and pickle chips, while entrees such as burgers, fried perch sandwich, prime rib, and grilled salmon are available. For overnight accommodations, look no further than the newly-renovated guest rooms, which come complete with comfortable beds, WiFi and television, and monogrammed robes. Two luxurious suites are available for you and your partner to kick off the honeymoon, and include large balconies that look out over Main Street. The town of Lexington offers numerous activities for you and your guests to stay busy during the weekend of celebrations. These include concerts, shopping, art galleries, and a beautifully-manicured 18-hole golf course.
