Eilish Barnes(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-04-2019 We had our wedding reception at the Camelot last month and we couldn't have been happier with the whole planning process, and of course the reception itself! Ryan and Valerie were so helpful at every stage of the process. I'm from the UK so I had to organise our wedding from overseas, arriving in the US just 10 days before we were due to get married (!!). They answered every one of my emails very quickly, and liaised fully with my fiance's family in Pittsburgh, meaning that what could have been a very stressful situation was fun and relaxed. One huge bonus for us was that they organise everything for you for a very reasonable price - venue, food, set-up, the cake, all inclusive bar, staff, tear-down etc, which made everything so easy. I was a little concerned that a 'package wedding' might not be classy, but that couldn't be further from the truth at the Camelot! Ryan listened very carefully to what we wanted, and then just made it happen, while liaising seamlessly with our other vendors. He even ordered a special ingredient for our cake when it turned out the bakery they work with didn't have it. All of our guests loved the food and cake (which were delicious!), and the venue itself is beautiful. Ryan and all the staff are also really nice and approachable, and helped us to create the beautiful wedding reception that we hoped for. We would definitely pick the Camelot again (and are kind of sad that we only get to have one wedding reception there!) Reviewed on 22-05-2019

This is the smaller venue that they have, they have another bigger venue in Wexford. Ryan & Valerie do such an amazing job, I highly recommend! They are very responsive to any questions along the way of wedding planning and their prices are pretty reasonable considering other places we looked at in the same area. There is a lot included in the wedding package as well including: set up/tear down, wedding cake (comes from Lincoln Bakery in Bellevue), choice of various colors of linens and napkins, choice of centerpieces (or bring your own if you wish), easel for welcome sign or seating chart, birdcage for card box if you wish to use, and other miscellaneous decorations. The food is *chefs kiss* so freaking delicious! They throw a big menu tasting in March of the year you are getting married where you get to taste a large portion of the options. They provide either a plated dinner option or a buffet which we elected to have the buffet with a carving station. We still have wedding guests weeks later still talking about the food!! The bar options were very good as well! My husband enjoys Blue Moon beer which wasn’t on their menu so we just provided a case on our own and they happily gave him Blue Moons the entire night. We also choose to have our ceremony there indoors and I loved how everything was set up and then easily transitioned from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner/reception. Reviewed on 05-11-2023

Anna Ondrejco(maid of honor)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-10-2018 I was in a wedding 10/6/18 at The Columbian Room. We, the bridal party, were told the back room was safe for us to leave our bags in. However, when I went to get money from my wallet for the Bridal Dance, all of my cash was gone- a significant amount as I was the MOH. I spoke to the manager, Ryan, that night. His response was, \"I can't ask my employees to empty their pockets. It was cash, so unless you wrote down the serial numbers, there is nothing to be done\". I spoke to the bride the next morning about it, and her cash was stolen, and a third person had their wallet gone through.Besides the robbery, the service and attitude of the staff was poor. The doors didn't open for the reception until 4:30pm- despite most of the guests arriving between 3:45-4:00. It was a hot day, and a few of the elderly guests went inside to use the restroom or to sit down in the AC. The staff forced these elderly guests to leave and return to their cars and locked the doors behind them. There were 10 people per small oval table. The guests could hardly walk between the tables or put their food on the table. The food was mediocre at best. No seasoning, you got 3-4 pieces of potato, the chicken was dry and about the size of your pinky finger, the fish tasted like it was bought from the frozen section at Costco and served. Forget going back for seconds. There were over 150 dozen cookies for the cookie table. The staff only plated and put out a few of the cookies at a time. At the end of the night, over half the cookies were given back to the family. We were still dancing and they were packing up the tables, cookies, decorations, etc- while we still had the hall.I would not recommend this place. The evening could have been forgiven, but the lack of caring by Ryan, the manager, about my money being stolen left a despicable impression. Reviewed on 08-10-2018

April Klein(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-06-2019 Terrible people to do business with. Reached out to the vendor weeks ago, took days for them to answer, responded saying that I wanted to set up a date to tour the venue. No one ever responded to my email. I continued to call the venue multiple times only to receive their voicemail each time. Never got a call back on the voicemail left. My mom was eventually able to get through after various attempts. We set up an appointment to tour the venue which they did not have availability until two weeks later. We scheduled an appointment for 10am today. We waited at venue until 10:30 and no one showed up. Ryan, Valerie, Christy, and the entire staff did a fabulous job. They were so helpful and friendly from the very start of the planning process. The food, bar and service were outstanding! We loved that it was an \"all inclusive\" package. We didn't have to worry about the catering, linens, decor or cake coming from different places. The bar package was also excellent. Our guests thought the food was delicious and the open bar was the best. Thank you Ryan and staff for making this experience go so smoothly and making our daughter's wedding day so special! Sheila Bigelow(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-06-2017 The Camelot was the perfect venue for our wedding! We wanted to have an elegant affair that would leave our guests with full bellies and sore feet from dancing, and we were not disappointed! I loved how it was a fairly all inclusive venue with buffet and plated dinner packages, a very fairly priced alcohol package per person, wedding cake, basic linens and traying of the cookies for the cookie table. I did not want to be bothered worrying about if the linens or cake were going to arrive, and I never did thanks to the Camelot. Ryan and Valerie couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with all of my nervous bride questions. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch. We heard wonderful reviews from all of our guests about the food and alcohol choices. I would definitely recommend hosting your wedding or next big event at The Camelot. Reviewed on 30-07-2017
Rachel Battaglia(wedding party)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-05-2017 I recently had my wedding at the Camelot and they were fabulous!! The planning process was easy and they clearly knew what they were doing. The tasting was amazing and we got to see what all the food tasted like and what the vendors they use for chair coverings and cakes were like (they did a great job as well!!)! They had everything organized and knew all the questions to ask ahead of time to make sure it all went smoothly. They even worked with my vendors to make sure they could get set up/drop things off. The space is beautiful and clean and there was a perfect amount of room for my 130 person reception. The servers and bartender were some of the best I've seen at a wedding and the food was phenomenal. Although I was able to set things up the day before, anything that needed to be done that day they had organized exactly as I had wished. Stephanie Lynn(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-10-2013 The Camelot was a wonderful place to have a wedding--the staff are very friendly and went out of their way to make sure every detail was personalized to match our needs. The banquet hall is just the right size--it is large enough to seat a medium sized wedding (we had 170ish) comfortably but small enough that everyone feels included and part of the party.\r\rThe planning process was very easy--we had enough choices for decor/food/etc that we were able to personalize the reception but not so many that it was overwhelming. Joe responded almost immediately to any request I had (even on the weekends), and they helped us with several requests that were not part of their standard package (custom cocktails that we created from their menu, customized displays for our photos, etc).\r\rThe staff and coordinators were very supportive throughout the planning process--we heard \"Yes, we can do that\" to almost any request we had. During the night of the wedding, we felt very well cared for as well. Joe went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed (he even brought me my drink!) and everything went smoothly. Many of our guests have commented that it was one of the most comfortable weddings they have been to and that the staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful.\r\rThe highlight of the night was the food--it was truly delicious. Everything was freshly made--nothing was greasy or oily. Even our \"plainer\" options for our vegetarian friends were really yummy. My family are big eaters, and everyone loved the meal. It was really great value for the money, and we are still hearing about how good it was!\r\rIf you are looking for an all inclusive location that can still be personalized, I would highly recommend The Camelot. The current owners took over at the beginning of the year and if we would have met with the current owners I can honetly say we would not have used this venue. Most of the problems are that there are two owners and you would get two different stories. Plus, I have to admit they are very moody too. I was very disappointed in the cookie table...instead of putting out the selection of cookies we ended bringing most of them home. Also, they don't tell you this, but you can only have one shot at the bar...that's it. I will say the food was very good and had many guest comment on the quality of the food. Reviewed on 12-10-2011
