We had both our ceremony and reception on-site, and the day-of everything flowed very smoothly. The bridal suite is a little small, so if you have a bridal party larger than maybe 6 it's a pretty tight fit; however, it was comfortable for my bridesmaids and myself with the makeup artist. About half a year before our wedding, they hosted a tasting event and we were able to pick what we wanted on our menu basically on the spot--and the food is absolutely amazing! They partner with Lincoln Bakery, so when you book services with The Camelot your wedding cake is included with your package. Very convenient, just one more vendor we didn't have to separately book! Day-of, the venue was decorated beautifully and the service was impeccable. We were able to finalize everything at a meeting two weeks beforehand (though the minimum is usually a 10-day meeting), so we knew exactly what we would see but it was even better all assembled.Unfortunately, communication was a little complicated. When we initially signed our contract, we signed with someone who was going to be our day-of coordinator through the venue. She had offered to let me ask any questions I wanted to, which was a big part of why we chose to book the venue. But a short time after we signed, she left the organization and that left two other possible people to do this for us. That had me really on edge, and I felt like I couldn't really reach out to anyone at the venue because I didn't know who to be asking questions to our how to get in touch. We were also told that the owner's wife would be our coordinator on the day, and present at the 15 day meeting, but this ended up NOT being the case so we ended up working with the person I was the least familiar with and least comfortable around. On the day, everything ran perfectly smoothly, but this was at the center of a lot of my pre-wedding anxiety. So if you choose to book this venue, you WILL have a beautiful wedding day! But you want to be very certain of who to talk to if you have any questions, and bring an outside day-of coordinator if you're extra nervous (like I tend to be). Reviewed on 12-09-2023
Shaelyn P(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-07-2022 Having our reception at The Camelot – Wexford made for a wonderful night. Our guests were still talking about how amazing the food was months after our wedding, and we were very happy with the bar selection. Thank you to Ryan, Robyn, and the rest of The Camelot staff for making our night so memorable. However, there were a few items regarding planning and the time leading up to the wedding night that were a bit frustrating:1) We were told before signing that we would not have to pay for alcohol for individuals who would not be drinking it (i.e. guests under 21 years). When it came time to pay the final bill about a week before the wedding, this was not the case and we had to pay for alcohol for every guest because it supposedly accounted for the other refreshments they would be having (Water? Lemonade? I don’t think that is equal to alcohol prices). This was a couple hundred dollars extra than we anticipated. We were told that was never said and not true. It’s a little late to find a new venue a week before the wedding, so we didn’t have a choice.2) You cannot have the leftover food from your wedding night. I did not like this either because I am the one paying for the food! Supposedly this is a liability, but then how is it that most venues are able to give you the leftover food? Like I said, you are the one paying for it!3) I asked for the cake to be cut and put out on a table for guests to get themselves since not everyone wants cake and it could be eaten throughout the evening instead of right when it is served. However, I was told that’s a poor reflection on the The Camelot. Not sure how? So yes, cake was thrown away because it was placed at seats where guests were no longer sitting was left untouched. My frustration is not so much that cake was served to the guests' seats but that The Camelot would not accommodate such a simple request.Overall, make sure you ask your questions up front before signing the contract to make sure your night will go exactly as you plan. I did not think my requests were outrageous and that those little details of planning could be handled later, but if that’s not the way they do it, they will not deviate. Aside from some other minor frustrations in the event planning process, we still had a great night. Robyn was so wonderful as our wedding coordinator and we could not thank her enough for all of her time and effort. Reviewed on 20-09-2022
Aly Grubbs(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-10-2021 The Camelot was absolutely incredible for our wedding! They were flexible with all the unknowns with Covid and helped us postpone our wedding an entire year. Ryan graciously took calls from us monthly (sometimes weekly) and always was happy to talk things through with us and answer any questions/concerns we had. Ryan was also kind enough to do a private tasting for us since the yearly tasting had to be canceled because of Covid. The food at the tasting and the wedding was DELICIOUS. Robyn was fabulous to work with when it came down to our final detail planning and the day of event. The whole team was extraordinary, and we cannot say enough great things about this venue and the owners. We so highly recommend the Camelot!! Reviewed on 19-11-2021
