Whether you are looking for a ceremony and reception location or for reception only your possibilities are endless. We can accommodate all styles, from formal seated dinners to a traditional New Orleans reception. It will be an experience that will last a life time. - Seated Dinner with Dance floor: Minimum of 100 - Maximum of 400 persons. - Reception Style Events: Minimum of 100 - Maximum 600 persons. I think I visited every ballroom and half the venues in the city, looking for an event space that could fit my large guest list without sacrificing New Orleans history and charm. I’m so glad I found the Capitol on Baronne!!!! It ticked all my boxes: elegant space that would wow both local and out-of-town guests, a prime location near the French Quarter, delicious food, and plenty of room to party! I can’t say a big enough thank you to Brittani and Michele for their guidance! I knew the venue would look spectacular, but their industry knowledge and relationships with vendors made my experience even better than I imagined. I can be a bit indecisive but I trusted their advice and they never steered me wrong. I can’t imagine planning a wedding without them!!!!

I have been working with Michele and Brittani for over two decades. They continue to be the most professional team in the region. The Capital, as a venue, is a unique look back at a classic New Orleans venue the way they used to be - elegant! The grand ballroom is nothing short of breathtaking, and the decor can be set to the desires of the client. We chose this venue for our wedding and it gives all of the Beauty and the Beast vibes. I immediately fell in love with this venue due to it's charm, history in New Orleans, and the architecture behind it. Brittani was amazing from the start from going to see the venue, booking, and day of wedding. The food was nothing short of amazing. Everything was fresh and the drinks kept on coming! This venue was everything I could have dreamed of and more. Ample enough space for guests, bridal party, and any lagniappe you may have! The most magical night in truly the most magical and beautiful location.

Absolutley out standing! Michele and Brittani were so easy to work with. The food was excellent. We didn;t not expect it to be so good when they were feeding 300 people, but it was just as good as it was at the tasting. Chef Blakley is so talented. You made our dreams come true and we will forever be greatful.

My wife and I got Married December 29, 2019. First I'll start by saying the venue is incredible and breathtaking when all lit up. All of our guests were blown away! We had our ceremony and reception on site. We had 250 guests and it all went seamless.Their recommendations from food to dance floor rentals a to band were great. Easy to deal with and great communication between the vendors and the Capital StaffWe also used Michele as our wedding coordinator and we are so happy we did. She made it all come together! So easy to work with and accommodating. She always made us feel comfortable and Calm. Which is hard to with so many things to coordinate. All in all Best night of our lives and I wouldn't change any of it.

If you are looking for an elegant venue, look no further. My daughter had her wedding reception here in January. I received compliment after compliment on how beautiful the reception was. This space is elegant to begin with, then adding flowers and candles made it breathtaking. The venue staff, Michele and Brittani, were a pleasure to work with and made everything easy for us. They coordinated with our wedding planner and vendors and stayed for the reception duration to ensure that the evening went smoothly. Seeing this place in person is a must, the pictures just don't do it justice!
