First of all, this venue is perfect if you are looking for a barn and something rustic. I love that you take a tractor ride to the ceremony site. Then the ceremony site is gorgeous. They set it up so you are surrounded by nature and beautiful trees. I love the bridal suite as it’s set up to bring hair and make up to the venue which is hard to find. Zach is so easy to work with and makes the process that much easier. Johanna is the day of coordinator and goes above and beyond. The Centennial barn lets you enjoy your day, taking away the stress of everything. Highly recommend this barn for a wedding or private event. I promise they will help answer every question big or small. Reviewed on 17-10-2023

As a vendor, working with venues can be tricky. This is NOT the case for this venue as their day of coordinator Johanna keeps everything super organized and everyone knows what to do! We worked an event for our family member that got married there and it was EPIC. We had the unique opportunity to work and be a guest at this wedding and the wooded ceremony site is a sight to behold! Great job! Reviewed on 17-10-2023

R M(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-10-2016 I was initially very excited to be married at the centennial barn It was perfect and Ami seemed like a really nice lady. I was very wrong. She made me pay for electricity at the ceremony site, and the website says it's all-inclusive. That is untrue. I had to pay 260$ to rent a suitcase, 8 buckets (empty) and a cake stand. I hired a planner for the day of and she was very rude to her. Ami was very rude to my photographer and bartenders telling them they couldn't set stuff up the way they would have liked. She was very ride to the wedding planner and kept moving stuff around while setting up. Apparently you have to have table cloths for their \"beautiful wood tables\" and this isn't stated anywhere on the contract She pushed us out early and made me feel like I was going to be charged a ton to stay and clean up. Also, Ami initially said that the venue only holds 130 people. This is also untrue. I was unable to invite a lot of people due to that. At one time, she was needed and she had locked herself in her office and wouldn't answer. Also, you aren't able to have any alcohol on site while getting ready. I have never been to a wedding where you couldn't toast before the wedding. Your wedding day should be beautiful and beautiful it was but Ami made it very stressful for all my help. I wouldn't suggest getting married here. Reviewed on 17-09-2016
Emily B(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-09-2015 We were married at The Centennial Barn in September of 2015. What I loved most about the venue was the all inclusive packages they had. Ami and her staff were so helpful in the planning process. We loved that they have a staging company right on site and when we needed extra lanterns the day of the wedding, Ami got them for us quickly and was so flexible with us changing our minds on some of the items we wanted to use on the day of the wedding. When we forgot our sparklers, they even gave us some that they had on hand. We thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful day and would highly recommend this venue. Great to work with. Reviewed on 29-02-2016

Kristin Tedrow(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-08-2015 We had our wedding at this barn this past summer. It's a beautiful barn but we were not pleased with the way our guests were treated. Months after our wedding our guests still talk about how rude the owner and her husband were to them when we see them. Instead of bothering the master and mistress of Ceremony with issues the father of the bride was bothered, I had to pull up past emails to the owner due to her changing times and final guest counts towards the end, and many more issues we experienced. It was by far the most stressful part of wedding planning. I didn't want to leave a review but after the last comments I heard from some of our guests this past weekend I was really disappointed and upset that we paid a lot of money to be treated like this and it was apparently noticeable to everyone. Mallory Montbriand(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-08-2014 I had my wedding at the Centennial Barn and couldn't be happier! The outdoor ceremony area was rustic and quaint and the barn reception was eclectic and fun! It was the perfect setting for two people who love the outdoors and appreciate a remote setting. The selection of decorations in the inventory was awesome, ranging from quirky, to artsy, to rustic - meeting the needs of anyone's style and taste. Ami and her staff did a wonderful job setting up the decorations as I had asked and were present and available the entire day of my wedding (as well as during the rehearsal) to answer any questions and lend a hand wherever necessary. They offered me great customer service, an affordable price, and a truly memorable day for not only my husband and I, but also our guests (many of which approached me during and after the wedding with comments such as \"Perfect outdoor wedding,\" and \"my dream barn wedding!\" and \"perfect Pinterest wedding!\" I have Ami and her staff to thank for all the compliments, as I can't take much responsibility for any of the decorating or style of the venue! I was very happy with my venue choice and am certain the Centennial Barn will grow to be a very popular barn venue in the west-Michigan area! Reviewed on 15-09-2014
