It's taken me a few months to encapsulate the sheer delight we experienced with The Chair Factory, from the very moment we embarked on our venue search to the final wrap-up of our special night. The entire team at The Chair Factory demonstrated a level of professionalism that surpassed our expectations.Even with the challenge of an August wedding, they skillfully managed to keep our guests comfortably cool indoors. The venue itself is a vision of elegance, and utilizing their recommended vendors proved to be a decision that exceeded our wildest expectations. The vendor meeting streamlined the wedding planning process, a crucial factor given my short engagement. One standout feature was the team's commitment to ensuring that not a single detail escaped their attention. From setup to take-down, The Chair Factory staff went above and beyond, sparing us any need to lift a finger. This level of care and consideration stands in stark contrast to other weddings I've been a part of.The bride and groom suites were not only functional but impressively spacious, adding a touch of luxury to our day. The feedback from our guests has been consistently positive, with many expressing their admiration for the venue, the seamless event flow, and the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Our experience with The Chair Factory was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a perfect blend of elegance, efficiency, and a team that truly cares about making your special day extraordinary. Reviewed on 26-12-2023
William Tomcho(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-10-2022 Disappointed groom here:UPDATE: Jeff has threatened to sue my family and I for libel and other things, over posting a bad review regarding our experience.. However, I am posting the truth and have documentation to prove my claims. Terrible place overall, bad vendors, zero bookkeeping or paperwork, they would not provide signed contracts that hold them liable to their word, zero room for our own personal ideas, they’re a wedding factory spitting our couple after couple, HOLY LAST MINUTE UPCHARGES… I could go on all day.(These same people manage Cold Creek Farms.)Where to start… I’ll make this as short as possible. Vendors were over booked and they made very clear mention to us about Jeff’s poor management skills throughout the process, yet they said the venue offers steady work so they stay. They claim to be a “all inclusive” venue, yet don’t tell you about all the up charges until you’re a couple months out, your guests are invited and it’s too late. We DID attempt to back out 3 times, they kept saying “trust the process. We do this for a living.” So to my regret, I trusted them. The florist used the exact flowers we told her NOT to use. Jeff has refused to release our wedding pictures until we pay the final $2280 for the extra headcount. Yet, during negotiations he was willing to forget this amount in return for a signed NDA by my wife and I, which we refused to allow us to inform others of our TERRIBLE experience. We are refusing while agreeing to pay the remaining balance so others know about this disaster called “Our Wedding Day.”Vendors couldn’t keep up with their schedules, it was 1 month from our wedding and we couldn’t even find out what our menu was.. Yet got yelled at by the caterer when we finally HAD to ask.Jeff had zero ability to keep up with his bookkeeping. We had to beg and plead over and over for him to update the online portal to reflect the timely payments we were making to him. If customers are expected to make timely payments, should the venue update the necessary info in the same manor?I could go on all day about our grievances, however, this place DROPPED THE BALL on the most important day of our lives. My wife and I wanted a semi customized wedding.. We thought they had the template and we have the details, seemed simple enough.. The Chair Factory showed they’re nothing short of a halfass “I Do Factory” with nobody’s interests in mind by their own. They made this wedding a living hell for us.Finally, after over 3 months (the pictures are confirmed to be ready a few weeks after our wedding), we still don’t have our wedding pictures as of writing this, even though I paid for them months ago… This is solely Jeff’s shoulders who has handed this ongoing situation over to his attorney wanting him to resolve it. To this date, we STILL do NOT have our pictures. It’s easier for us to just pay the amount and be allowed to spread the word about this shady venue.I hate I’m having to write this but it’s their own fault.I would not recommend this facility to any of my friends, family or enemies. Emily Fowler(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-11-2021 My husband and I got married at The Chair Factory this past November by sheer luck! We had booked a previous location that fell through - and while it was beyond a stressful situation - we ended up finding this as such a blessing. The Chair Factory is not only a beautiful venue (that continues to improve constantly!), but their staff is a hidden gem in the crazy wedding business nowadays. As it is family owned, I didn't feel like my husband and I, or are families, were just another wedding. We were seen on a personal level, and they were so gracious working with us on such a short notice (which was beyond lucky because they should be one of the first options brides in Metro Atlanta consider!). My personal favorite pieces of The Chair Factory include the preserved historical, rustic feel, the breathtaking bridal suite (pictures don't begin to do it justice!), the roomy grooms loft (perfect for the guys to chill for the day!), and the vendor connections (vendor fairs for allll you will need!). I truly could not have dreamed of a better venue for my husband and I to get married - and I am so grateful for how it hugged our guests and us throughout such a special, emotional day! After securing The Chair Factory (TCF) for our Fall 2022 wedding, a weight was lifted off of our shoulders, only to be crushed by the news that they made a colossal error and contracted 2 couples for the same date.We were told the owner had booked another couple for the same date but never added their info to TCF calendar of events. When we toured the venue, the event manager even called the owner to get permission to place a hold if we needed time to discuss. The hold was granted for 2 days. This was less than the 7 other venues we toured who all offered a 1-week courtesy hold. We felt rushed and pressured, so we returned to place the deposit an hour later that same day. Almost a month went by before this mistake was realized. A month feels like a lifetime in wedding planning, and we had already booked hotel blocks, a band, and had our families and bridal parties commit to the date. We were informed of the double-booking by the event manager. Being that the owner made the mistake, he should have delivered the news. When we called the owner, he answered with “I thought [the event manager] already shared all of that.” From the beginning, we got the impression that he viewed us as an inconvenience. In our call with the owner, we didn't get a sense of remorse beyond the initial admission that he made a mistake. We were distraught as planning a wedding in 2022 has been met with most vendors being booked out 15 months ahead of time. When we brought up this concern, the owner assured us that their vendors would still be available on the new date we chose. Part of the reason we liked TCF was the flexibility to have our own vendors at no additional cost. Assuming we would use their vendors before we had the opportunity to meet any of them was presumptuous. We considered still having our wedding at TCF, but our call with the owner left us feeling disrespected. The owner’s solution was that we pick a different date and he would give us a $2,500 discount. We felt that wasn’t enough for such a large error, especially since a change of date would require vendor/entertainment changes and a change in our wedding vision. We wanted a fall wedding, but the only remaining date at TCF that worked for us was a week before Christmas. The new date being during the holiday season would have made our search for vendors more difficult since we'd be competing with holiday parties & upcharges. The new date would compete with holiday travel and wedding attendance. To ask us to make these changes without offering to compromise on recourse seemed stingy & rooted in profit margins. We understand that TCF is a business, but we wish the owner were more concerned with making a terrible situation right instead of his bottom line. After much discussion, the owner eventually asserted that \"money seemed to be our main motivation” which came across as insulting. In the end, we decided on a different venue. TCF returned our $5,000 deposit, but we would not suggest this venue to other couples. Our deposit should have held our date, but obviously it did not. We were coming to terms with the fact that we would have to move our wedding to 2023; fortunately, there was one date left at another venue we loved. We are now spending more money at our new venue, but we felt so burned by TCF that we are willing to do so. Money was never our main motivator. Instead, we hoped for a venue we could trust with people who care about the couples, and we didn’t get that from TCF. Reviewed on 01-02-2022
