The Chateau Event Center is a stylish wedding venue located in Bozeman, MT. This truly singular event space is ideal for those with an appreciation for classic architecture and the tranquility of nature. You are invited to gather loved ones here and have this property’s stunning surroundings enhance the celebration of your partnership. The Chateau Event Center spreads across 40 acres of land, featuring elegant foliage and carefully manicured gardens. The property is protected under a conservation easement, providing essential habitat for creatures big and small and ensuring a quiet and private setting form your special day. Prepare for your big day in our chic bridal suite and groom’s hideout. These rooms are finely furnished and spacious enough to accommodate each member of your entourage and any hairstylists or makeup artists you may have to help you prepare. Your wedding ceremony can take place outdoors in one of several ceremony site options, shaded under our towering cottonwood trees, aspen trees and chokecherry trees. You can exchange your vows in front of the elegant gazebo or several archway options. These are beautifully crafted structures, primed for the decoration of your choice, and an ideal backdrop for your wedding portraits. Following your service, you and your guests are invited to mill around and explore the venue’s grounds, admiring the timeless beauty of its French design. The event space located inside this charming haven consists of 2,500 square feet of space for your celebration. The venue’s design features exposed beam ceilings, stone and stucco walls, and authentic French sconces. You will truly feel as if you have stepped out of time and into a storybook illustration when celebrating at The Chateau. A stone fireplace and marble bar can also be found indoors. The banquet hall has a capacity to comfortably fit 150 guests. French doors open out onto a patios for late-night dancing under the starlight, where you can make memories that last for a lifetime. The Chateau Event Center aims to offer each of its couples a full-service event experience. To honor this, they provide seating, tables, audio-visual equipment, sound system and wireless microphones for your speeches. All set-up and take-down is managed by the thoughtful and careful staff, allowing you to enjoy your event to its fullest. The management has also taken the time to compile a list of trusted vendors that you might like to consider including on your special occasion. These include caterers, photographers, DJs, and florists. Based on your desired aesthetic, they can match you with vendors that suit your vibe the best. We are Bozeman locals and got married here the summer of 2019. Whitney and Keanan were SO helpful and responsive the entire time, exactly what you need when planning a wedding. The venue was beautiful and perfect the day of and we were also able to use it for our rehearsal the day before. We toured almost 10 wedding venues in the area and The Chateau was by far the most beautiful and it was affordable too. We never had to worry about anything regarding this venue and we really hope we can use it again for another event in the future. You won't be disappointed with The Chateau!!

The venue was gorgeous! And we loved working with Whitney! She was very helpful throughout the whole process; always willing to answer any questions! She allowed my family and I to visit the venue multiple times to get things figured out or to just see the grounds. We loved that she allowed us to pay for the venue throughout the months before our wedding. I recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in the Gallatin Valley!

I am thrilled I found the Château Event Center for my wedding day. I hosted my reception there. I worked with Whitney often as my guest count changed several times. She helped me optimize the layout of tables and visualize how things would look by sharing past event photos. She even put out décor on the wedding day to help supplement what I had. (It looked wonderful!) I was super thrilled linen services were available. It made it so much easier than working with an offsite vendor. Whitney was well organized and communicated well. I was planning my entire wedding from out of state and also had never been to Montana before. Whitney referred me to different local resources, and she helped me get a strong feel for the venue without seeing it in person. The day of the wedding felt seamless. It was such a huge help to have the venue for the full day because of set up I needed to do with family, bridal photos, etc. My only regret is I didn't get enough photos on the grounds of the venue. The fountain, bridge, gazebo, etc. - There are many great photo opportunities. I would highly recommend this venue to others. I know Whitney was invested in my day, and I didn't feel like \"another bride\". In summary, I enjoyed my experience with the Château Event Center. I'm glad I now have wine glasses to also remember the experience by - such a sweet touch by Whitney.

The Chateau was the most stunning venue we could have chosen for our wedding. Both the indoor and outdoor accommodations and gathering spaces were perfect for our guests to be able to mix and mingle. Not the mention our photos are STUNNING!! Whitney and the crew at the Chateau helped our day run seamlessly and were so kind! Can’t recommend The Chateau enough!

The Château was our perfect venue! There are not very many non-barn options (if any) and this one is so beautiful and charming. We went slightly over capacity with our guests, the patio and outdoor areas easily accommodated this. Our wedding never felt crowded or over capacity! There is a large outdoor area that was great for our guests to spread out or indoor seating and tables. Whitney and her family were great to work with, very helpful and accommodating. She always responded right away with any questions or concerns we had! We still get compliments from our guests. I highly recommend the Château!

Beautiful venue, great communication from Whitney, the owner throughout the process. Her family came the day before and cleaned the ceremony and venue site after branches fell from storms to be sure everything was in order for the day of. Couldn’t have been a more beautiful day! We got so many compliments on the venue from our guests.

Honest truth- If you are looking for perfect, it’s the Château! My husband and I got married here on 9/24/22, and it was MAGICAL! It wasn’t only our surroundings that were amazing, it was Whitney, her husband and adorable kiddos, and her new staff member Terri! They all made us feel so taken care of, and made sure that our day went smoothly! Again, if you are looking for a perfect venue, and people who care about you and your day, we absolutely recommend the Château.

This wedding venue is so beautiful with such a lush yard. What really makes this place magical though is the staff. The staff is so friendly, so communicative, easy to work with, and comes with a wealth of knowledge that helped me plan a wedding of my dreams. On my wedding day it was pouring rain (extra luck, right?) and the staff did everything in their power to create a beautiful and intimate indoor ceremony when it was supposed to be outside. They set up tables, chairs, and take out the trash. The Chateau was the perfect place to say \"I Do\" and I would recommend them any day!

If you’re reading this review while trying to figure out where to host your wedding—PICK THIS ONE! Oh my gosh my wedding was phenomenal and it’s largely thanks to the Chateau. Whitney was so nice to work with and so helpful. Setup was a breeze. The space is BEAUTIFUL! Seriously, every inch of this property is stunning. I could literally go on forever about how much I loved this venue. My guests loved it to. Thanks for being a big part of the best day of my life, Chateau!

This is a much overdue overwhelmingly happy review for the Chateau. We had the perfect wedding we had always dreamed of -- simple, elegant, happy--and it was thanks to the Chateau for much of that. We had an intimate ~30 person reception at The Chateau in July and working with Whitney was an absolute dream. Not only is the venue and surrounding property breathtakingly gorgeous, but having our event there was *easy* from start to finish. We live out of state and were only in town for about 24 hours before the event, but Whitney was incredibly communicative, professional and responsive, and made us feel like we were in good hands from the moment we reached out about using the venue. The venue's packages are clearly explained and transparent about what is included (as someone who had 3 receptions and is very used to looking at packages at this point, definitely more clear than most!) and still Whitney was available to answer questions and discuss our options for a variety of things during the entire process. All of our guests had a wonderful time and the space was absolutely perfect for our \"European countryside\" décor. There are a number of outdoor spaces we were able to utilize, and the indoor space is very pretty, well maintained and hardly needs any dressing up to make it feel event-ready! I'm sure I could go on forever about how great this venue is, but will cut myself off - I could not recommend hosting your event here more!

AMAZING!!!! Beautiful venue. I couldn't have imagined a better venue for our May wedding and we had beautiful options for both outdoor and indoor ceremonies. The space was perfect for everything we needed. I highly recommend hiring Whitney to be your day of coordinator. She was incredibly helpful and I felt like I truly got to enjoy my wedding day without worrying about anything.

Working with The Chateau was so easy and helpful. From the time we first saw the venue until our wedding was over, it was nothing but the best customer care. They made sure we had everything we needed and were SO flexible when things changed. It was truly wonderful working with them and I would highly recommend getting married there!

When looking online on all the different venue websites, I came across the same venues that everyone in the Gallatin Valley uses. They were all generically the same. I really wanted something surrounded by nature. But I also wanted to back up inside area in case the Montana weather did not cooperate. After viewing multiple venues, I made an appointment to see the Chateau. As soon as I arrived, I instantly knew that is where I wanted to be married. The Chateau building is gorgeously adorned in rock and wood. The inside was large and open. A fireplace and bar made for some great moments! The exterior dance floor was a perfect addition. The outer area is well taken care of, and trees surround the entire area - giving you that feeling of being away from the world. And as luck would have it, it rained my wedding day but we were prepared to host indoors. Whitney (the owner) was so helpful throughout the process, even helping me to contact a company to rent a party tent the day prior for the outdoor dance floor so we could utilize the space no matter the rain that was to come. Our day was perfect, and the Chateau was a huge part of that!

I held my wedding here in September 2019 and loved it. It was perfect for our wedding size of 75 guests and had the elegant but woodsy vibe I was looking for. Keenan and Whitney were very nice to work with and I hired Whitney to be my day-of coordinator. That made my wedding day totally stress-free and everything went so smooth! I liked this venue for all the beautiful greenery and trees outside and the beautiful inside with lots of French doors opening up to different patios and dance options. It is also located close to downtown Bozeman so travel is easy here compared to some other options. Highly recommend this venue for a different vibe than a MT barn wedding! Le Petit Chateau was a great place to have our fall wedding. We wanted a non-barn location which is hard to find in the Bozeman area, and Le Petit Chateau was just the style of venue we were looking for. They include all the chairs & tables and their set up in the rental cost, and allow you to use whatever vendors you want. Clean up is included in their services as well which saved us from hiring that service out since no one was in any shape to clean up after the wedding. Kelly was easy to work with, and even put in an order for linens to save us money.

My fiancee (now husband) and I walked in here and knew it would be perfect for what we were looking for. The Chateau is absolutely adorable! I loved the french doors that open up to the outside making it perfect for a warm summer evening and dancing under the stars (with a patio! so no heels sink into the grass). We greatly enjoyed everything about it. We used it for the ceremony and the reception, ceremony took place right outside and it was heavenly. I guess if I have to nitpick one thing it would be the bridal dressing suite. The bathroom in the suite was tiny! My maid of honor and I had one heck of a time trying to get me, her, and my dress in there. But other than that, I can't complain!

My fiance and I fell in love with this venue from the moment we arrived. So much so, that while we were initially planning a church ceremony, we were so inspired by this place, that we held not only the reception at Le Petit Chateau, but the wedding ceremony on the outdoor grounds as well. \r\rIt is stunning! Like stepping out of Bozeman into another little world--but with all the gorgeous Montana landscape still in sight. Still new, but built to look old, this venue has all the modern conveniences, with old-world charm. We barely had to decorate because it would have detracted from the thoughtful architecture.\r\rThe owners are 'at-your service'--Friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with, and certainly went the extra mile for our unique set-up. \r\rOne of the best (and easiest) decisions we made in our wedding planning process!

This venue was perfect for our wedding. The owners were very friendly and helpful during the entire planning process. And there is very little decorating needed, as it is already so beautiful. I am still getting complements on what a perfect location it was.

Whitney Ritchey (Owner) I am a native Montanan, from Bozeman. I have traveled all over the world and lived in Morocco and Spain. I love the outdoors, spending time with my growing family. The Chateau Event Center is family-owned. My amazing husband is an integral part of The Chateau’s team-oriented success. I enjoy being part of the unique energy at weddings and seeing the creative collaborations from the wedding community as a whole. I’m a down-to-earth mom, who is an overly-organized event coordinator, always striving to have my clients thrilled with The Chateau for making their Wedding Day dreams come true!
