\"Best Wedding, EVER!\" \"A Literal Movie!\" \"A truly magical experience!\" These were actual comments made by our guests following our reception at The Chicory. If we could elevate the star ratings to 10, we would. From the day we met Jenna and Regan to tour The Chicory, we knew this was the place we wanted to host our reception. Not knowing the New Orleans area and planning from Texas, we trusted their vast experience and knowledge in event planning. They communicated efficiently and effectively each step of the process. They provided a list of vendors they had positive experiences working with and were also open to us using other vendors that we chose. A few weeks before the wedding we learned our daughter had some new food allergies and Jenna/Regan consulted with their in house chef who made meal suggestions for her and other guests with food sensitivities/preferences to enjoy. Our guests raved about the food, many of whom had never experienced a cocktail style wedding reception or unique New Orleans foods. Regan did a great job coordinating arrival times and set up with our vendors. Baylee and Genesis were our wedding attendants, while Regan and Jenna were actively involved overseeing our reception. It was a truly fantastic team experience with each of them supporting us, while giving us space to enjoy every minute of our reception. The timeline they developed with band input was executed perfectly. Without any hesitation, we would highly recommend that you choose The Chicory for your next NOLA event!

Jenna, Kimberly, and the entire Chicory crew are absolutely amazing. Everything went so smoothly, the food was wonderful, and the drinks were delicious. I’ve had many people tell me that my wedding was the most fun they had had, and I know it’s because The Chicory has perfected event hosting. I highly recommend hosting any event, especially a wedding, at The Chicory. They were absolutely wonderful!!

Having my wedding at the Chicory was THE best decision I made during wedding planning! My friends and family have been raving about how FUN the wedding was and how delicious the food was. It is very obvious that the coordinators and attendants are professionals. They managed even the smallest details and kept the night flowing. I had such a great time and it was largely due to the Chicory taking the load of managing off of me. Jenna and Kimberly were wonderful to work with, they know what they are doing! I recommend this venue to anyone getting married in New Orleans!!

Having my wedding at the Chicory was THE best decision I made during wedding planning! My friends and family have been raving about how FUN the wedding was and how delicious the food was. It is very obvious that the coordinators and attendants are professionals. They managed even the smallest details and kept the night flowing. I had such a great time and it was largely due to the Chicory taking the load of managing off of me. Jenna and Kimberly were wonderful to work with, they know what they are doing! The Chicory is a beautiful venue in the best location with a top notch team!We had the best experience over the last year planning our daughter's wedding (October 2023) with The Chicory's team! From the first meeting until we said goodbye leaving the reception, everything was PERFECT! Regan, Jenna and Kimberly (and everyone on staff) were amazing! They have perfected the planning process which made our wedding journey effortless and very enjoyable! Had an amazing experience at the Chicory. It was the perfect location for our rooftop November wedding. The staff was attentive and very kind! From our first visit through the big day, we had an amazing experience. The food was amazing! We really wanted to have good cajun food at our wedding and our guests are still raving about it. The venue was absolutely beautiful and we loved every minute of our day. Do yourself a favor and get married here!

Had an amazing experience at the Chicory. It was the perfect location for our rooftop November wedding. The staff was attentive and very kind! From our first visit through the big day, we had an amazing experience. The food was amazing! We really wanted to have good cajun food at our wedding and our guests are still raving about it. I really can't say enough good things about The Chicory. From the initial stages of planning through the wedding day itself, the team at the Chicory made everything a breeze! First off, there is so much included with the venue that it makes planing really easy! They have tables, chairs, linens, glassware, etc. and all of the food is in-house, so no need to find other vendors. Speaking of the food, everything we ate there was incredible! They have a really wide selection of items and many traditional New Orleans options, which was great, since we had a lot of out of town guests. So many people told us how much they loved the food!I also can't thank the team there enough. Jenna and Kimberly managed everything for our wedding and they were so helpful! They answered all of our questions quickly and were always willing to work with us if we wanted to change something. Both of them were there for both our rehearsal and our wedding and even though we had a separate wedding planner, it was great having them there to help keep everything running smoothly. The Chicory also assigns attendants to the couple and their family on the wedding day, which was so nice. Hennessey looked after us all night, making sure we always had everything we needed-- she was amazing! Overall, booking the Chicory was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made and we would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in New Orleans!

“The best wedding I’ve ever been to….”Each of our guest left our November 20th wedding at The Chicory echoing these sentiments. When we decided to have a destination wedding within the United States we knew it would have to be in New Orleans, my favorite city. What I didn't know was that just under a year later 135 of our family and friends would travel from New Jersey (and a couple other states) to share in our most special day.Choosing a venue was fairly easy. I had a definite aesthetic that I wanted and The Chicory checked every box. Rooftop ceremony space, exposed brick, industrial elegance…it was the perfect fit for my “boho chic” wedding. Once my wedding planner assisted in securing the venue communication was exemplary. Jenna and Regan took care of us from start to finish. They answered every question, gave suggestions for set-up, and assisted in making critical changes up until the day before the wedding. They made the process seamless from thousands of miles away. The actual wedding space was perfection! Believe it or not I didn’t see the space in person until the rehearsal but walking through the venue the day before the wedding I knew I made the right decision. The Chicory was just as stunning in person as it was online. The character of the wood floors, high ceilings, industrial columns brought together the perfect blend of the cities of New Jersey to the charm and elegance of the south. The Southern hospitality continued throughout our experience. The staff beyond just Jenna and Regan treated us like royalty. They took care of everyone from the wedding party to the grandmothers to guests who needed extra assistance. They truly ensured that everyone felt comfortable and had an extraordinary time. I truly can’t say enough about the staff. Last but not least (actually most importantly) was the food. Coming from families of great cooks we knew the food had to be a hit. Sitting in the parlor enjoying the appetizers my husband and I knew our families and guests would approve. The flavors of New Orleans burst through in every bite. From the catfish nuggets to the fresh beignets at the end of the night the guests had nothing but rave reviews about the food. I can’t say enough about our experience at the Chicory; it was truly the most amazing experience we could have ever imagined. Two months later our family and friends are still talking about “the best wedding they ever attended”.Heartfelt thanks to Jenna, Regan and the staff at the Chicory for making our dreams a reality.

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this venue! It's beautiful, everyone we worked with was incredibly nice, and our day could not have gone any more smoothly. We had our wedding reception there, and we worked with Kimberly Lopez. She's amazing! We instantly felt cared for, and she helped us every moment of the day. She let us know what was coming up next and gave us advanced notice so we wouldn't feel rushed.We also both got our own \"personal attendants\" who stayed with us (at a distance) and offered us drinks, asked if we had any needs, etc. throughout the reception.The food at the Chicory is amazing, which came with our reception package. Absolutely the best! The food is unbelievable. All of our guests still can't stop talking about how good the food was. They are very organized, efficient, and reliable! I felt more relaxed as a bride having the Chicory as my wedding venue because the staff go above and beyond to make sure that the couple is well taken care of. Words cannot even express how awesome the Chicory was. I am hoping to convince my family members or friends to get married at the Chicory, just so I could go back and experience a wedding there again.

Absolutely the best! The food is unbelievable. All of our guests still can't stop talking about how good the food was. They are very organized, efficient, and reliable! I felt more relaxed as a bride having the Chicory as my wedding venue because the staff go above and beyond to make sure that the couple is well taken care of. Words cannot even express how awesome the Chicory was. I am hoping to convince my family members or friends to get married at the Chicory, just so I could go back and experience a wedding there again.

Everything about this venue is amazing. The building is absolutely gorgeous. Jenna and Regan were our contacts and coordinators for our daughter’s wedding and reception. They are experts with events and the staff were professional and fun to be around. The food was superb too. All of our guests fell in love with the venue and have do to her to call me and it is three days later to rave about how this was the best wedding food they have ever tasted. Very elegant setting and these 2 ladies went above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality. Thank you.Marella

Everything about this venue is amazing. The building is absolutely gorgeous. Jenna and Regan were our contacts and coordinators for our daughter’s wedding and reception. I cannot say enough great things about The Chicory. They were great and easy to work with from the very beginning. Jenna and Kimberly were fantastic. The place has a natural charm so not much decor is needed, the food is fantastic, my guests had nothing but good things to say about the bartenders, and my husband and I’s attendants throughout the night were AMAZING. So helpful, always kept a drink in our hands, kept us on schedule, and were positive and sweet when things went wrong. They have weddings/receptions perfected. They made our reception what it was and we can’t say thank you enough!

Wedding planning is already stressful, but working with the team at the Chicory was so seamless and stress free it makes me want to plan another event there. My husband and myself planned our wedding from NYC and Jenna and Regan made the entire process a breeze. The Chicory team was always accessible to answer any of our questions or make any adjustments. The day of our wedding the offered additional reassurance knowing that their team knew the in and outs of our timeline and was on top of everything we needed. Our guest are still raving about the passed hors d’oeuvres (crawfish empanadas, fried oysters, spring rolls, crab cakes, sliders, and fries to name a few). Dinner was also a hit (filet mignon and gulf fish topped with soft shell crab). Having access to a bridal suite, personal attendants, and multiple rooms to get guest moving and mingling was also a plus. Overall we are very happy to have chosen The Chicory to host our wedding.

We had both our ceremony and reception at The Chicory and were blown away! Jenna and Kimberly were so great to work with. They were able to answer every question we had and ones we didn’t even think to ask! The food was phenomenal, our guests raved to us about the service— no one had to open their own door once, and the drinks were fast and well poured! They gave us personal assistants and we had everything we needed from a drink always in our hand, flip flops when my feet started hurting, to them bustling my dress for me. If we could do it all again we would pick The Chicory over & over!!

We had both our ceremony and reception at The Chicory and were blown away! Jenna and Kimberly were so great to work with. They were able to answer every question we had and ones we didn’t even think to ask! The food was phenomenal, our guests raved to us about the service— no one had to open their own door once, and the drinks were fast and well poured! They gave us personal assistants and we had everything we needed from a drink always in our hand, flip flops when my feet started hurting, to them bustling my dress for me. If we could do it all again we would pick The Chicory over & over!!

Our wedding day was perfect! We literally planned our wedding in ten short weeks. We honestly couldn’t have made it so perfect without the guidance and patience of Regan and Jenna at The Chicory. They were super organized with every detail of the day. It was also the groom’s birthday so we managed to make a surprise happen for him. Food and drinks were great. The Chicory has IT ALL, Y'ALL. We had our wedding on May 6th in the Gallery - which has been recently redone and it is absolutely gorgeous. Jenna, Jana & Regan were absolute rockstars throughout the entire planning process and the execution on the day of. They were responsive and detail oriented, which is exactly what I needed for my event (or any event really!). They were also flexible and went the extra mile several times to ensure the day was exactly as I planned. Our guests have been RAVING bar service and the food and also how wonderful ALL of the staff was for the evening! I don't think I've ever been to a wedding where people raved about the staff before - they have a really special team & vibe there. The food was amazing - we were able to taste a little bit of everything while we had a private dinner in the bridal suite and signed our marriage license before our entrance. I will dream about those duck empanadas for the rest of my life. My favorite touch of the evening though was having a personal attendant provided. Minou was absolute perfection. She was constantly bringing me water and always had a fresh drink for me when I needed it - like appearing out of nowhere with it! She even helped me change into my after party outfit!!! I love that so many services were offered and staffed by the venue itself - it saved me so much stress and time to have furniture, linens, catering, bar service all in one place. I would absolutely recommend the Chicory to anyone getting married in NOLA.

We had the most perfect wedding at The Chicory on March 19!! My husband and I decided to work with The Chicory in 2019, and from the moment we walked through the door we knew it was the perfect venue. Our initial tour guide took over an hour to answer every single question we had and explain all the details of what our wedding would look like. We went home and put a deposit down right away. 3 months later, the COVID pandemic hit. Our original date was 3/20/2021, and by the end of 2020, there were still a lot of restrictions in place. It didn't look like the wedding we wanted was possible, and Jenna was more than helpful and empathetic to our situation and allowed us to postpone our wedding a full year. I am an ICU nurse so I cannot tell you how meaningful it was that she was flexible with our wishes.Fast forward to 3/19/22, I was feeling very stressed about all the fine details that still had to be planned. I nearly hired a last minute wedding planner to help but emailed Jenna first. She sent me back all the information I needed in a very lengthy email (MUCH appreciated) and I can truly say that besides one moment of panic, The Chicory is a venue that is absolutely manageable without a wedding planner. Jenna and Regan communicated with all of my vendors before our wedding day and organized everything on the timeline we set together. This allowed me to enjoy the weeks leading up to our wedding vs being glued to my email trying to coordinate everything.During our rehearsal, Jenna and Regan walked my very large wedding party through every step of the way, and all everyone could talk about was how easy it was going to be. The day of, Jenna and Regan were there to tell us where to go and added an extra layer of support I haven't seen at other wedding venues. Now to the actual event- it was a dream being a bride and groom at The Chicory. There is a small room where my husband and I could eat dinner alone before being announced, which was great because we could enjoy each other's company without having to socialize immediately. Not to mention, the food was incredible. We upgraded to the filet carving station and it was SO worth it. When the reception started, we had our own personal attendants to bring us drinks or anything else we needed. These attendants also checked on our parents who were beyond impressed with the service. The space was perfect for the amount of guests we had, and even though we had a smaller crowd than expected it didn't feel empty. The night was so magical and my husband and I had SO much fun. The only stress we had was nerves for the actual event but seriously The Chicory was AMAZING!!!!! Highly recommend this venue! And thank you Jenna and Regan for the best night ever!

Choosing to get married at The Chicory was one of the best decisions we could've made when planning a 150 person destination wedding. It is important to note that throughout the planning process we always had a lot of questions and wanted to talk things through, and Jenna really took the time to thoroughly answer any questions we had in the year+ before our wedding. She constantly put us at ease. From day one and beyond, working with The Chicory made planning a wedding feel somehow easier and they made sure that we were completely taken care of. Jenna and Regan are wonderfully tremendous at their jobs and truly made sure us and our guests had the best night we could imagine. They made us feel cared for and confident that every part of our day would be handled exactly how we would want it to be.First, the food. We had 150 out of town guests, many from the NYC greater area, and they've all been raving about the food. It can be tough to please food snobs from the northeast, and we weren't sure how they'd take to the \"New Orleans Cocktail Style\" for the wedding, but everyone loved it. Guests have been raving about the prime rib, crawfish and brie dip, our taco station, the seafood pasta, and the bananas foster station. Highly recommend getting the bacon wrapped shrimp and duck empanadas for passed apps as well. Unfortunately, we barely ate at our own wedding (though that's the norm), but The Chicory's staff was smart enough to hide us in a bridal suite after the ceremony so we could try and eat before the chaos started.The Chicory also provides attendants for the bride and the groom. While we knew this, we never realized how important this was and how much of a difference it made on our wedding day. If we ever needed ANYTHING, there was always someone there to take care of the need - whether it be filling our drinks, requesting something to eat, or needing the band to make an announcement. The Chicory does a phenomenal job of anticipating all of your needs for the day of. There were many things that were never on our radar, but the Chicory had already thought of it for us.While we didn't have any interaction with them, many of our guests commented on how great the bartenders were. They made a great drink and didn't skimp on the booze.Lastly, we didn't have a need to get a wedding coordinator, mostly because of how good the Chicory was at taking on these responsibilities. Jenna and Regan ensured that we stayed on schedule to our timeline and coordinated a ton of stuff while we were on the dance floor having the best night of our lives. We even had a pretty big hiccup with a vendor not showing up on time and not doing what they were contracted to do - Jenna took it upon herself to follow up with them and get us a full refund for what happened. Not only was this exceptional service above and beyond, but she did it so quickly that we knew we had a full refund before even arriving at our after party.If you are considering working with the Chicory for your wedding or another event, look no further. They do a phenomenal job and our only wish is that we could attend an event there as a guest!

We held our ceremony on the rooftop with gorgeous views and our reception in the Gallery Room which also has a small outdoor patio. The Chicory staff was absolutely amazing from the very first email to the final execution of our day. We planned our wedding from out of state and I was a bit worried about doing so, but Jenna and her team quickly calmed those fears. They gave us all of the info to get started and also passed along incredible vendor recommendations.Communication was top-notch. I never waited more than a day for a response and every question I had was always answered.Leading up to the wedding, they coordinated with our vendors to make sure everything was good to go and set up in a timely and organized fashion. Our event coordinators, Jenna, Kim, and Regan, along with our assistants, and the entire Chicory staff made our wedding day absolutely perfect. Everything was PERFECT. Not one moment of my time was spent worrying about something that needed to happen because jenna and the rest of the staff were on it ! Such an incredible staff, I cant say enough about them! One of the big reasons we chose the Chicory is they have a permanent staff who is familiar with the venue and how things should be done and I tell you it makes all the difference on a stressful day!! Jana & Jenna ask the best questions to make sure everything is perfect for you day-of and then the incredible attendants take over from there.Also I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how good the food was!! We did a sit-down dinner option and usually, when producing 150+ steaks and softshell crab, you'd expect it to just be average. This wasn't the case at all - I can't tell you how many compliments I got on the quality and taste.Wish I could get married here again!

After a lovely experience from initial outreach and inquiry, to day of the wedding, The Chicory exceeded all of our expectations! My wife and I cannot stress enough how perfect this venue was, thanks to General Manager, Jenna Bonura, and her team!My wife and I are located in Denver, CO and had to do all our wedding planning virtually. From the beginning, Jenna and her team were more than accommodating in making this work, and were able to let my wife's family come in and view the venue while we were on FaceTime! Jenna made sure to answer all of our questions in the moment, as well as through email around price points, packages, rooms, etc. Once we decided on the Chicory, we were invited to an open house that the Chicory hosted where we could see the space, sample the food, and meet potential vendors including but not limited to: lights and decor, florists, bands, cakes, etc.The day of our actual wedding could not have been more perfect - Jenna and her team made us feel like royalty, while also keeping us on track for the day - which my wife, who is an event planner herself, LOVED! It's been over a week since our special day, and all our family and friends are still raving about the venue and the food! The exposed brick, the gas lanterns, the elegance of the Chicory makes for a truly magical evening! The food was incredible - all our passed appetizers especially the bacon-wrapped shrimp, the tuna tartar wontons, the tomato and onion jam crositinis, and the sicillian meatballs - were RAVED about by all guests. Not to mention the crawfish and brie dip, the corn and cran bisque, and the boudin stuffed roasted pork loin carving station!Jenna and her team went out of the way to make other food for myself - because I am dairy free. The chef whipped up a chicken pasta for me the day of - and it was amazing! We had two attendants helping us throughout the night, Paris and Kimberly, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well-fed, had drinks when we wanted them, and even made sure to shield us from guests when we needed a breather! They were absolutely amazing! Jayce even helped us find some chargers towards the end of the night for our light up shoes and second line, and truly made the night memorable! All of the servers, bartenders, and other attendants gave our guests amazing customer service, and there was not a single issue all night long.We cannot express enough how perfect The Chicory was and how on top of everything Jenna and her team are. They made the entire experience seem effortless for us!

They did not serve my parents food or drinks, and the bar did not have their drinks either. The siblings had to get food and drinks for the grandparents, yet we were supposed to have attendants for the immediate family. They dropped our cake when unnecessarily moving the cake table. They then gave us the top of the cake and said they removed it before the cake fell, but we have pictures of it rolling across the floor.They did not put our food on the pedicab, so we had no food at the end of the night.

We were absolutely blown away by The Chicory! We had our wedding here on 11/27/21 and couldn't have dreamed of a more organized and beautiful venue. Jenna and her team were absolutely incredible to work with. They had a quick response time and answered any questions. They are somewhat strict, which I really enjoyed because I thrive in an organized atmosphere. They made our families feel super welcome and attended to their every needs. My husband and I had our own personal assistants the entire night to make sure we could literally have anything we wanted.. drinks, a moment alone, etc. and even would tell guests to stop talking to us if we had to do something (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.). We had our ceremony on the rooftop at sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. They honestly were super affordable too for what you got - the venue seems so fancy and beautiful but it fit well in our budget. The food was amazing, no one had to wait very long in any line for the bar. I've been recommending The Chicory to anyone I know getting married in the future haha. Thank you SO much Jenna and her team for making our wedding truly perfect for us!

If you are planning a wedding in New Orleans and you go with any venue but the Chicory, you are doing yourself a disservice. The Chicory is GORGEOUS - exposed, lightly whitewashed brick, iron lanterns, floor to ceiling windows, and a layout that allows constant flow and promotes mingling. Then there’s the FOOD - Lord, I’m still dreaming about it. Hand-passed hors d’oeuvres throughout the night (get the Nachitoches meat pies, the bacon wrapped shrimp, the fried green tomatoes, the mini Cuban sandwiches yummmm), there are standing displays of charcuterie, crudités, the best soup I’ve ever tasted (shrimp and butternut squash was to die for), a carving station, and a pasta station. And then on top of all of this they can do bananas Foster and passed beignets??? I don’t think I’ll ever eat as well at a party again.But more than any of the qualities explained above, there’s the PEOPLE. Jenna, Jana, Paris, and Kimberly are angels from heaven. I was a COVID bride and Jenna helped me move my date, no hassle, no stress, and plenty of compassion. Both she and Jana then made sure that my reception was perfectly planned and coordinated with my vendors and they went the extra mile to make sure I had absolutely everything I dreamed of at my wedding. Paris and Kimberly were the attendants assigned to me and my ~husband~ (still can’t get over that!) as well as to our parents. They were incredible, making sure we always had drinks and WATER, because we were dancing up a storm. Kimberly is Latina and speaks Spanish which was crucial for us as a good percentage of our guests did not speak English - she was a life saver and everyone just adored her. If you haven’t chosen yet, you know what to do! I hope every bride in New Orleans is made to feel the way the Chicory and its team made me feel! Love y’all!

We are very happy with our experience at the Chicory! We had a lovely brunch reception which included chicken and waffle skewers and bananas foster that our guests cannot stop talking about!

As a destination wedding & COVID bride dealing with rescheduling 3 times, Jenna & Team were extremely gracious & accommodating in so many aspects. Communicating with them was seamless, outstanding customer service, the space is absolutely gorgeous, the food was beautifully presented & delicious, and they are true professionals. They ran my entire wedding after my day-of coordinator canceled 3 weeks prior to my special day and I felt totally at ease leaving everything in their hands. Everything possible that could have gone wrong with my wedding (which it did, lol) didn’t even feel like a big deal because the Chicory was there to help me when I needed it. They took care of a minute remaining details, took over setup of other wedding accessories I had purchased and brought, made sure vendors all came & that I was really sure I was satisfied with my wrong order of flowers that delivered (worthy of another lol). Paris & Stephanie were our personal attendants the day of, they were the sweetest most capable people to have tended to us making sure we were following the time line, comfortable if i needed my birkenstock’s in the middle of the extremely long speeches & always made sure we had a drink in our hands. Our experience working with the Chicory was phenomenal. They were flexible with us moving the wedding due to the pandemic. The staff was very hands on and kept us up to date on all matters. We recently held our ceremony and reception at The Chicory on April 17, 2021, and I cannot give enough praise about the space, the staff, and Jenna, the venue manager. First, we live in Boston, and with the pandemic, we did all of our planning remote. When we were evaluating venue locations, my in-laws (groom's parents), who are from New Orleans, did the walkthrough. They loved the space as well as the location. During the walkthrough the manager, Jenna, took her time to speak to us through facetime so we could get the vibe of the space, explaining all aspects about the location. Once we booked the venue, Jenna provided us with a list of preferred vendors. Let me say, I was so blown away by the caliber of vendors suggested, as well as their professionalism working with each other- they were all really top notch. On the day of the rehearsal, Jenna was on top of everything. I was planning to get married on the roof; however, it was going to rain the day of the wedding, so she had already contacted my vendors with the update the ceremony would be inside. That day, Jenna also provided an answer for every possible last-minute question we had. It is obvious she is extremely well-versed at her job. Come the day of the wedding, I was blown away at how the Gallery room transformed-- it was stunning. The room at night give a very romantic vibe, so not much is needed to make it into a festive atmosphere. Both the bride and groom are provided with attendants at the reception, and we literally did not have to think of a thing. We were fed, our drinks remained full, and my attendant even changed my shoes for me when I was ready to get into flip flops. One attendant even ran to a drug store to get ear plugs for our nephew who was sensitive to the band's music. Jenna scheduled the ceremony and reception in a way so that we could get all of the things like official pictures over quickly and we could truly enjoy ourselves. I also keep hearing rave reviews about the food offerings. We truly had the time of our life, and our guests who have probably not gotten out in over a year due to the pandemic did too! I cannot say enough about the staff, particularly Jenna, and the space at the Chicory. We will truly be forever grateful to the Chicory for making the best day of our life a reality!

Jenna scheduled the ceremony and reception in a way so that we could get all of the things like official pictures over quickly and we could truly enjoy ourselves. I also keep hearing rave reviews about the food offerings. We truly had the time of our life, and our guests who have probably not gotten out in over a year due to the pandemic did too! I cannot say enough about the staff, particularly Jenna, and the space at the Chicory. We will truly be forever grateful to the Chicory for making the best day of our life a reality!

Oh my goodness!! My husband and I are still on Cloud 9 from our special day. The Chicory was absolutely AMAZING from the venue to the FABULOUS food, but the people are what made our night truly spectacular. Jenna and her team are professionals and will make your night memorable and perfect! We also loved and were so appreciative for our attendants: Paris and Diana. They were fantastic! I could honestly go on and on. Everything was perfect and was even better than what I could have imagined it to be! We are leaving a 5 star review and if we know of anyone else wanting to get married or host an event in New Orleans, we will definitely be sending them to The Chicory.

My husband and I got married in December of 2019. Now that we are settling in to married life, I had to take the time to write a review on how amazing the Chicory is. Prior to being engaged, the only thing I knew about what I wanted for my wedding was that it had to be in New Orleans. We looked at multiple venues, but no one stood out quite like The Chicory. Brent was so accommodating with setting up a time to meet and tour the venue. He answered all my e-mails promptly. Once we chose the venue, we signed up for the \"tasting\" events. We were invited (along with 2 guests) to attend events with multiple local vendors to pick our menu options and layout of our wedding. These events were a blast. It was how we fell in love with our decor vendor and baker. Once it got closer to the wedding, Jenna, was so so helpful. I am not a planner so she filled in all of the gaps in my planning skills. By the time the day o f the wedding came I didn't have a worry in the world. I got to enjoy the day and just have fun. They catered to everything we needed. I had so much fun on the dance floor that my earring flew out and broke near the beginning of the reception. Paris, my assigned attendant for the night, fixed it immediately and returned it to me. They kept both me and my husband's drinks flowing and constantly ensured that all was going well. I could go on and on about The Chicory including the staff, the beauty of the venue itself, and so much more. After my wedding I received so many compliments on the venue. I would recommend The Chicory to anyone. They were incredible and helped make the entire wedding planning process a breeze.

There is no better venue in New Orleans than The Chicory to have your wedding. From the get-go, Bret and Jenna blew us away. We must have visited five + venue tours and no one compared to the thoroughness and presentation of these two. They made us feel completely at ease to hold our wedding there. It felt like the perfect place to say, “I do.” First and foremost, the Chicory is absolutely stunning. Secondly, the Chicory knows that your guests are there to eat, drink, and have fun. They made sure that we had plenty of bars and bartenders so none of our guest were waiting for a drink. They had a great drink selection and even made two specialty cocktails for my husband and I. The food…. OH MY GOSH. It was so delicious. Everything was so tasty… even my husband’s family who is born and raised in NOLA were raving about it. Both my husband and I also had personal assistance the entire night who brought us whatever we wanted and always made sure we had either some food or a drink in hand. The space was set up perfectly. Another feature of the Chicory that we loved was the courtyard behind it. We did our Second Line behind the Chicory and did not have to worry about the police escort. We also opted to rent their gas lamp photo booth which was a fun addition to the wedding--guests loved it. We even got to keep the name sign they made for us on the lamp post (great keepsake). Lastly, although we had a wedding planner and we absolutely loved her and her team, The Chicory does SOOOOO much that I imagine it would be easy to go without a planner if you so wish. The Chicory is the total package. It is a gorgeous venue with delicious food, excellent service, and the very BEST team running it. HIGHLY recommend.

We just had a large wedding of approx 300 this weekend at the Chicory. I am certain this is the best reception venue in the city. For both small and large weddings, the chicory is OUTSTANDING. Brent and Jenna were amazing the whole way, from an incredibly fun food tasting to a perfectly-planned ceremony and reception. The space is obviously beautiful, but they really have every box checked: All the food was delicious, the bartenders were great, and most importantly, we felt relaxed and taken care of the whole time. I cannot sing enough praises for the Chicory. From the moment we saw the place, from the moment we met the staff til the end when they were handing us the packaged stuff and leftovers from the wedding we had nothing but smiles and efficiency. As the mother of the bride and a full fledged person who worries all of the time, they laid to rest any concerns that I had. Brent and Jenna were amazing and very fun to work with. The food was spectacular with much praise. And I won some with a friend who was amazed that I had an \"attendant\" at the wedding to be sure I'd eaten something or if I needed a drink. The space was magnificent. The kids wanted to use the rooftop but we knew in December it could be iffy. The benefit of the Chicory is that there are several gorgeous rooms that we could use as a back up so the kids weren't even disappointed when it rained because the wedding was gorgeous in another space with those wonderful old bricks and wood. Thank you the Chicory for a really special event with perfect help and love and support from the whole staff. If you are considering the Chicory you would be crazy to pick something else!!!!

When we first began looking for wedding venues in NOLA, we came across pictures of The Chicory, and we just fell in love right away. Then, when we went to view the venue, we fell in love more, and Brent, the Sales Manager, sold us! We knew, this is where we wanted to get married! Right from the start, the entire team was so accommodating and always available to answer any questions we had. They helped us every step of the way, and were happy to give us recommendations when we asked. When our day finally came, everything went off without a hitch! Big thanks to Jenna, our coordinator from The Chicory, and our attendants! We LOVED the food, and so did our guests! We even opted for their Bananas Foster station instead of a traditional cake, and the demo they performed at the beginning of the reception was so much fun! They really made our day perfect, and our guests have said time and time again that our wedding was one of the best they've ever been to, and that is in big part due to The Chicory and there amazing staff! I really can't say how much we absolutely love this venue!

In 2012 our daughter and her then college boyfriend had attended a wedding at The Chicory and had a wonderful time. They even said to each other “when we get married this is where it will be “. So early in their engagement they decided that this was in fact the venue for them. Every stage of planning with Brent and Jenna went so smoothly. They accommodated us with FaceTime tours since the couple live out of state and couldn’t tour the venue in person. The ambiance of the ceremony and reception rooms with the exposed brick and permanent gas lanterns made simple floral arrangements all that was needed for decorations. The rooftop access added an amazing touch for the “cigar bar”.The accommodations, service staff and guidance was top notch in every way. The passed hot appetizers were delicious and very plentiful. I highly recommend the gumbo and steamship roast as part of our buffet choices. The gumbo tasted authentic and homemade and the roast was carved all night long; giving us tasty sliders toward the end of the reception. The cafe au lait and beignet station was the perfect add-on. We had a “second line” brass band to end the ceremony. The pedestrian mall and gazebo right near the venue where we could second line without a “parade permit” made the night all the more special. All of our out of town guests were amazed and the locals had a ball too. The best quote of the night was “Why would anyone get married anywhere but New Orleans?” And I would have to add when you are planning your New Orleans wedding--why would you consider anywhere but The Chicory?

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and its people. We were in love with Brent from day one. He offered helpful input where we needed it, and his recommendations were incredible. And the staff! We literally didn't have to worry about a thing at our reception. Jenna showed us where to go when, and we were able to just enjoy our amazing party. The service was amazing, and we got so many rave reviews about the food from our guests. This venue is beautiful! Our reception exceeded our exceptions, and it's largely due to the Chicory and its team. 12 out of 10 recommend.

From the time our daughter became engaged, we hoped that she might select the Chicory as the venue for her wedding! She did! We met with Brent Bogan for our tour. From that day to the day of the wedding, we felt taken care of as if we were family. It felt good as parents of the bride to know that every little detail would be taken care of. The Chicory is beautiful, food delicious, the service staff amazing! Brent and Jenna completed our experience along with our wonderful floral, decor and lighting, cake, video and music vendors! Thank you all so much for making it a memory we will all never forget!

If I could give The Chicory 10 stars I would. I loved the venue from the second I stepped through the door, and my experience just continued upward from there. Brent and Jenna were an absolute pleasure to work with. I planned our party from New York and there was not a moment of stress or a hint of a hiccup throughout the process. The night of our 25th wedding anniversary was absolutely magical. The staff was so helpful and nice, and the food was off the charts. My guests were super impressed that the buffet was open all night (a 5 hour reception) and always looked fresh and full. My \"attendant,\" Lili, followed me around and made sure I ate. I always had a drink nearby, even though I was leaving them all over the room. Those who know me know that it isn't easy to impress me, but the Chicory exceeded my expectations exponentially.

The Chicory was my dream venue from the moment I began wedding planning - so much so that I changed my original wedding date largely due them not being available! The Chicory is hands down one of the most beautiful venues in the New Orleans. I knew that, but what I could never have imagined was the level of customer service, goodness, and friendship that exists within that building. Brent, Caroline, and their team made our experience absolutely phenomenal. They answered our questions, they made allotments for all of our crazy requests, and they held our hands through the entire process of planning our wedding. They even took their own time to help us when we lost our original wedding planner - that was above and beyond anything they had to do, and it shows their care for their customers. The venue looked gorgeous, the food was phenomenal, and our attendants made sure we never saw the bar or an empty glass. I am so grateful for the experience that I had with the Chicory, and I am happy to recommend them so that other brides can have the same experience!

They were amazing at accommodating our unique menu requests, floor plan, and outdoor street closure on Fulton --- They worked with me every step of the way to do what they could to make our day unique and top notch; and boy did they succeed. The staff was first class all the way treating each and every guest like they were the only ones there! They were friendly, professional and so much fun, which is all we wanted!!! Our bridal attendants were our best friends that night and I can honestly say that my husband and I never had an empty glass all night... NOT EVEN ONCE! They anticipated our every need and we could not have been more appreciative. Working with Brent, Jenna and Caroline was easy and fun and they delivered on every promise that was made - AMAZING food, lots of fun and an over all experience that is unbeatable! I have not stopped hearing about how great the food was and how awesome the experience was for my guests! We got married at the Chicory in May and they were absolutely fantastic!! They made it so easy for us, especially since we live in Michigan. We had both our ceremony and reception at the Chicory. We had a very small and intimate wedding with only 38 people, with our ceremony upstairs in the Parlor Room, and reception in the Gallery Room. It was perfect! Brent and his team took extremely good care of us and were quick to respond with any emails I sent. One of the best things about this venue, besides the people, is that it’s a one stop shop! They have an in-house kitchen that provides food (some of the best food in town FYI with such an amazing menu), they provide the alcohol, they provide tables and chairs, etc. The only things we had to provide were decorations, dj, cake, flowers and photographer. It was great because Brent even provided us with some recommended vendors, which was great considering we weren’t from the area. There are not enough great things to say about them! They even stuffed our goodie bags for us the day before our wedding! Which was awesome bc I wasn’t sure when we were going to get that done! Great staff, delicious food, and a beautiful and unique venue. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!

Caroline and Brent are excellent communicators and made the entire planning process easy and stress free. We live out of town and Brent was very accommodating in scheduling our private tasting for a time that worked for us. Not only was the food exceptional and the wine plentiful but it was one of the best and most fun meals we've ever had! (Thanks Brent!). Day of, I didn't worry about a single thing. Everything ran flawlessly. Caroline and the attendants were there the whole time making sure we had food and drinks and to help guide us to where we needed to be. Every one of our guests commented that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. We love the Chicory!

Not only was the food exceptional and the wine plentiful but it was one of the best and most fun meals we've ever had! (Thanks Brent!). Day of, I didn't worry about a single thing. Everything ran flawlessly. Caroline and the attendants were there the whole time making sure we had food and drinks and to help guide us to where we needed to be. Every one of our guests commented that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. We love the Chicory!

If there was one thing we did right in planning our wedding it was choosing The Chicory!! They made the whole process so easy on us and were extremely accommodating. We were planning the wedding from out of town and that was a big worry when we started but The Chicory totally set our minds at ease. Brent and Jenna were fantastic, as were all the staff, and we did not have one single thing go wrong the entire day! We had a morning brunch wedding with all of the classic brunch items (bloody mary's/mimosas, shrimp and grits, beignets, etc.) and many of our guests said that was the BEST food they had the entire time they were in New Orleans. We could not have asked for a better experience. There are not enough thank-you's in the world!!

I cannot express my thanks enough to Brent and crew at the Chicory. Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour were planned to take place on Fulton Street (A cute cobblestone street right outside of the chicory owned by Harrahs). A week before the wedding was to take place we were told that the contract for the space was done in error and that crowd control would not be available. There was an LSU game happening at the same time of our ceremony so having the wedding outside (where there are outdoor TVs etc) when Harrah's was not going to cooperate with crowd control was a fatal blow to our ceremony plans. Needless to say we were freaking out a little. In comes Brent and The Chicory crew to save the day. We had already been planning the reception at the chicory and when Brent caught wind of our issues he immediately went to work to help us. Within a day of him hearing about the issue, he had plans to take on the ceremony and cocktail hour at the Chicory. We had about 250 guests, so I know this was not as easy as he made it seem. We were still a little nervous given the last minute changes but everything went off without a hitch! It made it very easy to be calm on the wedding day knowing Brent was there making sure everything was going smoothly. He is so fun, kind, experienced and was truly a joy to work with. The chicory itself is so beautiful and has an authentic new orleans feel that we loved and were excited to shares with our guests. The Chicory is in a great location for out of town guests as well given there are so many hotels, restaurants and attractions in walking distance. I would definitely recommend The Chicory to any couple looking to get married in New Orleans.

I was running around taking pictures the entire time, so I didn't get a chance to actually eat, but EVERYONE was (and still is) talking about how good the food was that night. Overall we were very impressed with the venue, service, food, staff, etc. that night and will definitely consider hosting other events at The Chicory in the future.

Huge thank you to Brent, Jenna and the Chicory staff! Speaking on behalf of myself, husband and family we absolutely loved working with all of you! From the moment we showed up randomly the day after getting engaged we knew we wanted our reception at the Chicory. Brent was so professional and pleasurable to work with throughout the entire process! We met Jenna, the operation manager, closer to the wedding to finalize everything and again was blown away by her ability to be 5 steps ahead of my mom and I. Seriously, I didn't have to worry about anything through the entire planning process nor that night! One of our favorite parts of planning was the tasting/vendor event! You, your husband and 2 guests get to attend an event at the chicory to taste the menu and meet vendors. This was so much and fun and we definitely did not leave hungry! The reception was amazing! We have received so many compliments about the food and the lack of back up at the bar! My husband and I each had a personal attendant and they were also great! At one point I mentioned how hot I was from dancing and running around and they offered to have me stand in the walk in cooler for a few minutes...IT WAS THE BEST! Highly, highly recommend having your wedding, reception or any event at the Chicory! You will not be disappointed!

Words simply cannot express the level of purely polished professionalism, courtesy, beauty, and kindness that The Chicory holds. I remembered The Chicory from attending a previous wedding when my husband and I were looking for a venue. After he saw the spot and what they had to offer, he was with me 100%. I do not think I will ever be able to thank Brent enough for how amazingly friendly and masterfully skilled he is at what he does. He talked my husband and I through every part of the ceremony and reception and was excited about our vision of having a brunch for dinner! Our guests raved about the delicious omelet station, shrimp and grits, and french toast. No question or concern was too many! There was a bridal suite to use throughout the night which definitely came in handy. Furthermore, Jenna was a joy to work with in the weeks leading up to the wedding and as our day of coordinator. Any small moments I wanted, like a first look with my father or reading a letter with my soon-to-be husband on opposites sides of a door were worked into the schedule before the wedding. She was so attentive to my wants and needs. I simply felt at ease with her running the show. After the wedding, my husband and I both spent time raving about how wonderful the entire staff was! We each had an attendant that always refilled our drink or got us food. The entire staff was so extremely friendly, polite, and just happy to be a part of our wedding. I am so proud and honored that we got married at The Chicory. Inside those doors is something made of heaven. Yes, the venue is beautiful. However, I truly think it is the people we worked with, each and every staff member, that made our wedding one for the books. I wish I could climb on top of a mountain and tell everyone who is in the process of planning a wedding in New Orleans not to look past the Chicory. This is the most amazing, professional venue there is in the city. And I'm sure it's one of the best in the entire gulf south.What's so terrific? The Venue. The venue itself is a perfect New Orleans backdrop. The location is incredible - right in the heart of the warehouse district. There are countless high quality hotels around the venue and it is basically connected to Harrah's - which offers well lit, affordable parking. The interior is amazing and you don't have to spend much money at all decorating because it's ready just the way it is. So many halls we looked at needed major decorations to bring them to life - but not this one - it's perfect the way it is. You can spend lots of money decking this place out - you can put in candles in the bottom hall and even hang chandelier from the ceiling. But the truth is you don't need to - it's amazing the way it is. The three room/balcony setup is perfect for a New Orleans wedding. Your guests can be in the middle room in a lively, dance friendly environment, or be in one of the exterior rooms or the balcony and barely hear the music and just relax. There is food at all times - they never run out - and it's perfect for different types of guests.What's so terrific? The Staff. You know that feeling of not really being sure that you get when you are looking at venues? You just want to find the right place where the people seem to care as much about your big day as you. This is that place. When you set up an appointment and meet Brent you will be somewhat shocked that he is so down to earth and not snooty at all. He's like an instant friend. He is selling the top venue in the area and he knows it. He won't pressure you and he'll be honest. The truth is that you are lucky if there's an open date that works with your wedding and my advice is to seriously consider it. During the process you'll get to work with Brent and he'll get back to you within 24 hours every time. Planning a wedding is hard enough - and you'll have a million questions - and it's so nice that he gets back to you right away. When it's getting closer to the final date you'll meet Jenna - who is someone you just should listen to and follow her lead. She is the wedding coordinator at the venue and she was born to do it. She makes quick, definite decisions and keeps everyone up to do with any adjustments or changes. These people know what they are doing - and you should follow their lead.What's so terrific? The food. Every aspect of the food is great. The passed around appetizers, the salad spreads, the cheeses, soups, and the main courses. We went with the basic package and it was more than we could have ever needed. There are a million ways to add on to the menu so go crazy if you want but the basic menu is perfect. Ray, the head chef, is not only great at what he does but very personable. You can email him directly or talk one on one about your ideas and he'll listen. One of the best moments of our wedding was when he came out to shake my hand at the end of the night and ask how everything was - total class all the way.What's so terrific? The value. Choosing The Chicory for my reception was the best choice I made when planning my wedding. The staff was amazing. Brent made everything so easy and really went above and beyond my expectations. Our attendants for the night made sure that we had drinks and enough food. My guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. Some have said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and I absolutely agree! I have dreams about that crawfish and brie dip! Not only was the food and staff amazing but the venue itself is gorgeous! I didn't have a ton of decorations because it is not even needed. I really can't say enough about how amazing The Chicory is. It was truly the best night ever and I give credit to the awesome staff at The Chicory!

Choosing The Chicory for my reception was the best choice I made when planning my wedding. The staff was amazing. Brent made everything so easy and really went above and beyond my expectations. Our attendants for the night made sure that we had drinks and enough food. My guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. Some have said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and I absolutely agree! I have dreams about that crawfish and brie dip! Our reception at The Gallery at The Chicory was beautiful, and we had amazing food and bar! Seriously, there in-house catering can't be beat! Brent and Jenna were great were great to work with, both in planning the event and day of!

I cannot say enough incredible things about this beautiful event space and the AWESOME people who work there. We did our wedding reception in the Gallery (the downstairs area to the Chicory) and everything went to PERFECTION!! From day one Brent was amazing to work with. We were planning all of it long distance and he made sure to walk us through each and every step. He helped us with ideas, food options and was incredibly accommodating to our needs. Best venue manager out there! On the day of, each attendant at our reception was phenomenal, but Jenna, our coordinator, outdid herself! She made sure everything was on time, looked perfect, and kept things running smoothly. If there was a bump in the road, we didn't even notice because Jenna got to it before anyone. Not only was the space beautiful and you can do so much with it, but the food was unreal. Every single thing we ate was delicious! I can go on and on about the incredible experience we had at the Chicory , but you should book your event there and see for yourself. They made our wedding the most perfect, magical day of our lives! So glad we chose them!

My daughter was recently married in September of 2016 at The Chicory and already my husband is saying that he's ready to plan their one year anniversary party at The Chicory. This venue is located in the heart of New Orleans and located on famous Fulton Street! The atmosphere alone Is amzingly beautiful and the attention to the details was off the charts. Everything from the food to the individual care provided to the immediate family reception tables was unbelievable! Nothing and I mean nothing went wrong. While touring this beautiful venue early on we were promised food until the guests stopped eating and they were not kidding. Friends and family are still commenting on how delicious, fresh and hot off the stove the food items were. Nothing came out cold or even lukewarm. The chef is a master at preparing traditional New Orleans style food and we just can't say thank you enough to him for everything that he did. Try the Moonshine Milksakes as a late night pass around. You won't be sorry! If you are looking for a truly breathtaking venue that represents everything that represents traditional New Orleans then The Chicory is your venue! Our only regret is that we don't have another daughter. If we did...we would head straight to The Chicory for her wedding, too. You just can't go wrong. Don't slight yourself. The Chicory is fabulous in every way!

It was an all inclusive venue. We had plenty of options on food, all of which were excellent. It made things less stressful leading up to the big day. The venue itself is beautiful and echoes the best aspects of New Orleans design, from the exposed brick to the gas lantern lights to the open balcony over Fulton Square. You will not be disappointed with the surroundings. The attendants made sure that my wife and I never wanted for a drink or food, and they did the same for our parents. They were always there when we needed them, but we never felt like they were hovering. It was quite nice.The staff coordinated with us ahead of time so that every vendor was where they needed to be.All and all, it was exactly what we were looking for.

Jenna Bonura (Manager) Meet Jenna Bonura. Jenna is the General Manager at the Chicory. Jenna is a New Orleans native, born and raised in our wonderful city, and a graduate of University of New Orleans with a degree in HRT and Business Management. She has been involved in the restaurant world for 20 years and in the wedding/events industry with The Chicory for 8 years now. When she is not here at The Chicory she is enjoying the amazing city of NOLA with her 3 beautiful children - Marleigh, Jordan, and Paisley and significant other - Thomas. .
