Located in Escondido, CA, The Churchill House is a one-of-a-kind historic wedding venue. First built in 1896, this charming location was once the home of businessman E.M. Churchill. Since then, it has been transformed into the idyllic wedding destination it is today. Couples will undoubtedly love that this newly renovated and modern venue still gives off an old-world, quaint atmosphere. The Churchill House is a perfect choice for both smaller occasions and grander celebrations of up to 150 guests. On the property, you will find the Main House, the Bride's Carriage House, the Groom's Cottage, and a stunning Outdoor Courtyard and Ceremony Garden. The dressing suites are a relaxing and comfortable place in which to prepare before the festivities. Say your 'I dos' under the open sky, with their florally-decorated wedding altar as your backdrop and all your loved ones looking on. From there, guests can journey to the paved reception area. This romantic spot is decked out with glittering fairy lights and wooden bench seating. The Churchill House would be honored to host you on your wedding day, and the onsite team is prepared to go above and beyond to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Thanks to the Churchill House, my husband and I had our dream wedding. Working with Courtney, Ryan and Luke was a phenomenal experience. They truly had our best interest in mind and they were extremely easy to work with. We expected rain on our wedding day and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect (and it was!). Courtney was our main coordinator and she was so sweet and attentive to us. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue and friendly staff, look no further! The Churchill House is a wedding winner!

I rented this venue for my wedding and it was the perfect location. We were able to accommodate all 100+ of my guests. There is a huge free parking lot directly behind the venue that made it super convenient for everyone. The courtyard is so beautiful and peaceful, and everything went off without a hitch. I would definitely recommend everyone I know to consider this option for your wedding.

Beautiful historical house in the heart of Old Escondido. Picture perfect throughout. Room for bride and entire bridal party to get ready. So much parking and very easy for vendors to set up. Absolutely a 10.

We had a wonderful wedding celebration at the Churchill House. Everything from the ultra helpful staff to the beautiful accommodations far exceeded my expectations. All pieces of the evening ran so smoothly thanks to Jennie and Ryan and the rest of the crew. They helped with so many of the details which allowed me to not have to worry about anything! You won’t be disappointed booking here…it’s beautiful, historical, super cute and inviting.
