I would highly recommend the Circuit Center for your reception venue in Pittsburgh! One of the best choices we made. First off-you cannot beat the location. It was so nice for my guests to be basically downtown with many great restaurants, shopping, and hotels all within walking distance. The circuit center also has a parking lot which is extremely rare and so nice for out of town guests! What really sold me though was the customer service. In a time where you are spending money left and right to create the best day of your life you want to have great communication and pick a venue that you can put your trust in. Amy Hosking did just that. I swear that girl does not sleep. She was always available to answer my questions or make suggestions throughout the planning process. She is extremely detailed, responsive, and caring. A few weeks leading up to the wedding I started working Val who was also just as responsive and organized as Amy. They both made me feel less stressed and comforted that my big day was going to be exactly as I had imagined it would be. Val worked with all my different vendors for drop offs and was there to greet us as soon as our bridal party arrived for cocktail hour. She was there all night making sure my husband and I were happy and things were running smoothly -which it absolutely did! The food was DELICIOUS. Guests are still talking about the potatoes and how perfect the filets were cooked. The servers were so professional and caring. Our bridal party server, Dan, was the best. He was always there to make sure our drinks were full and even boxed up plates to go for my brother-in-law and niece who ended up not being able to make it due to illness. Little acts of kindness like this made us feel like it was money well spent. We truly had the best day of our lives!! Thank you Amy, Val, and the rest of the crew at the Fluted Mushroom for all your hard work!

I hate to dock any wedding vendor because K know the time and effort that goes into things, but I truly had a bad experience. They changed wedding coordinators three times and we were not informed until we reached out to the old coordinator(s) and were informed they quit or were fired. We also had bartenders drink during our reception—yikes! I’d recommend elsewhere. I’ll give it two stars because the food was good.

The space is modern and incredibly clean.The FOOD was amazing, passed and stationary hors d'oeuvre were delicious and plentiful during cocktail hour and the plated dinners were beyond exceptional. Everything was served at the appropriate temperature as well as the attention spent on the specialty meals (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free) for the guests.The attention to detail on the Pittsburgh Cookie Table was incredible. There were several out-of-town guests who had not experienced a Pittsburgh Cookie Table before and Angela Eremick , the event planner, knocked it out of the park! Attention was spent on all the details and made our daughter's Christmas wedding magical!

We had our daughter’s wedding there in June. It is a wonderful open ballroom with a great stage for a band and plenty of dance space. There were over 200 guests and it never felt crowded. The food by The Fluted Mushroom was exceptional and definitely not your typical wedding food. The staff handled our sit down dinner effortlessly. We absolutely recommend this venue!

We had our daughter’s wedding there in June. It is a wonderful open ballroom with a great stage for a band and plenty of dance space. There were over 200 guests and it never felt crowded. The food by The Fluted Mushroom was exceptional and definitely not your typical wedding food. The staff handled our sit down dinner effortlessly. We absolutely recommend this venue!

Hands down the best wedding food I have ever had! Val was easy to work with, and was usually quick to respond. She has worked with many other vendors around town, which made it easy for my band and the bakery. The reception hall itself is VERY large and had plenty of room for my 116 guest count. Val was helpful in room set up, and what would look good with our guest count. There is even a stage that our band played on! My only complaint with this venue is that we were supposed to receive our extra meals the following day, and Val forgot to tell the kitchen staff this. Normally I wouldn't care, but there should have been 6 extra meals that we paid for, and we were looking forward to enjoying the leftovers. Overall it was a fantastic venue!

The venue was the first place we looked and we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. Amy and Val have been amazing! They have always been very responsive and personable throughout the entire process. They made this decision very easy. The venue looked absolutely STUNNING! It turned out to be everything I have ever wanted. We just dropped all of our things off to Val and she set it all up exactly as I had wished. We had approximately 275 guests and we fit very comfortably in the room with a very nice sized dance floor. The food was very good and we got a lot of good reviews from guests as well. The outdoor cocktail hour was a nice added feature as well! We can't thank them enough for creating our dream wedding and more! :)

I don’t even know where to begin with this review because everything was incredible. First of all, Val the coordinator is AMAZING! I felt like she was my second mother on the day of the wedding and made my family so welcome! She took ALL of the stress off of my shoulders and took control. The venue is amazing. If you are looking for a blank canvas that can be transformed INTO anything this is the venue for you. I pictured everything all black and white and they delivered! The food is incredible! My guests all said it was the best wedding food they ever had. I had my ceremony and reception here and it was amazing. Everything was walking distance to our hotel which is exactly what I wanted! There are so many awesome spots for pictures including the hot metal bridge. Honestly, this hidden gem is amazing! You will not regret getting married here. Our wedding at the Circuit Center and Ballroom on July 27, 2019 was nothing short of magical. We started looking for reception sites when we were first engaged, and size of the wedding (number of guests) was the driving factor for what we were looking for. I knew I wanted to be somewhere in the city, since I have grown up here, and the location and venue turned out to be perfect. They were able to accommodate our wedding of just under 300 guests, and everyone RAVED about the food. We chose a duet of filet and chicken from The Fluted Mushroom, and I still have people telling me how good the food was (over a month after the wedding). Ami and Val worked closely with us planning the menu and the layout for the big day. Val, especially, worked very closely with us the week of the wedding to arrange details and make sure everything went smoothly. They worked closely with all our vendors so that we didn't have to worry about anything. The Circuit Center and Ballroom is the perfect city location for a beautiful wedding day that you will NEVER forget!

Amy and Val were an absolute dream to work with. They made sure my fiancé, family, and I got everything that we wanted and needed for our big day. Val was our main coordinator and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was decorated/designed to our liking and that the day went by without a hitch. I loved everything from the place settings to the design and traying of the cookie table. The food was absolutely delicious and we have received so many compliments. We were also given the option of a late night French fry bar, which was a huge hit! I could not have asked for a better venue, caterer, and staff to share my special day with.

The Fluted Mushroom team did a great job with our wedding. As a professional event-planner in Pittsburgh, I can confidently say that Amy and Val were absolutely the easiest team to work with. They made the planning experience not just bearable, but enjoyable. We truly felt like VIPs. They were knowledgeable about industry best-practices and about what works well with their space. I still can't believe the phenomenal service we got as part of the venue package. Our guests are still raving over how great the food was. I would book the Circuit Center ten times over.

First I must say that this is the most beautiful ballroom for any celebratory event. The Fluted mushroom staff prepare topnotch food and hors d'oeuvres. Clean bathrooms, parking, lighting, and spacious. I wud use the hall again and refer others, however there are several issues that need to be addressed. The carpet in the bridal room was horrible. It was like burlap. it shed all over the dresses. It was very noticeable. even when I took off my dress at home I had to shake off the carpet. It made a large pile on the floor of my home. I did show the coordinator this. Perhaps the room needs laminate or just a different kind of carpet. In terms of Val the wedding consultant, at times she was snarky, rude, lacked good customer service skills. I had to let her know \"you can think it in your head, but its not supposed to come out of your mouth!\" She appears overwhelmed and highly stressed at times so I dont get how one person doesnt have help. when she was professional, she did a decent job. I would warn any of my referrals about her attitude and some antics. In terms of the breakdown after the event, I paid over $1000 for flowers. The roses were still in good shape some hadnt even opened yet. One minute the roses are in the vases on a table, I talk to my one daughter about where are we going to take them, I come back to see them emptied from the vases and piled on a table about to be thrown away. How do you not ASK first what the client wants, just like they threw out all the silk flower petals off the tables without asking if that is what we wanted. It seems they just want to clean up with no thought of what the client may want to keep. Also a huge issue was that we rented napkins from a vendor. I didnt notice until we were reviewing the final invoice to pay the balance that we were getting charged close to $3.00 PER PERSON for linens. When I asked Val what was the fee for, she snapped \"I know you are not asking me a question about the contract 5 days before the wedding?\" So a back and forth argument started and my point to her was first of all Im not reviewing the contract every time a payment is made and that as the coordinator you should be telling clients that when you order your own linens you are still paying us per person for the napkins and table linens and the high cocktail linens are an additional cost for the table cloths. So we paid the hall over $300 for napkins and tablecloth as well as over $200 to a private vendor for just napkins. The coordinator should have advised us of the double expensive charges, then there should be a per tablecloth only fee if outside napkins are used. Overall, you cant take away the beauty, location, food, and other amenities at this center, but I caution folks I feel the customer service part needs much improving. The family is supposed to be stressed. The consultant being stressed and with attitude is not a great mix.I showed great restraint with her. I had at least 2 -3 of my guests also report her negative attitude.Plus I walked into the kitchen and she was eating wedding cake as it was being cut and plated. She even offered me some of my own cake . I thought that was so improper. Shouldnt you wait to be offered cake/food by the client? What could have made a difference is we dealt mostly with Amy and then within about 45 days before wedding we started only dealing with Val so no relationship had previously been established where I could have learned more about her role and demeanor.

The Circuit Center and Ballroom was the best venue I could have ever imagined. They helped make our wedding day so perfect and memorable! First of all, the location is PERFECT. It’s close to hotels, restaurants, and so many things to do. Secondly, the fact that the food was catered through the venue was extremely helpful and the food was DELICIOUS. I didn’t hear one complaint! Lastly, we gave them our vision for our wedding and they made it happen times TEN. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautifully decorated venue and the event coordinator, Val, was so organized and the sweetest. The Circuit Center and Ballroom was the best venue I could have ever imagined. They helped make our wedding day so perfect and memorable! First of all, the location is PERFECT. It’s close to hotels, restaurants, and so many things to do. Secondly, the fact that the food was catered through the venue was extremely helpful and the food was DELICIOUS. I didn’t hear one complaint! Lastly, we gave them our vision for our wedding and they made it happen times TEN. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautifully decorated venue and the event coordinator, Val, was so organized and the sweetest. I don’t know what we would’ve done without her!! 100% recommend this as a wedding venue option!!

My husband and I held our reception at the Circuit Center & Ballroom on August 25, 2018 and it was the best decision we could have made. The Circuit Center is one of the biggest venues in Pittsburgh and with a guest list of 300 people we didn’t want the room to feel crowded or to have people feel like they were sitting on top of each other. We worked with Amy throughout our wedding planning and she is truly amazing. She answered all of our emails and calls in a timely manner and explained everything to us from start to finish. She gave us her honest opinions on what she thought was a good idea or a bad idea and her honesty really made it easy for me to decide what I liked and didn’t like. Amy & Val took care of everything the day of which was a huge relief knowing that things would be set up exactly how I wanted them and I trusted them to take care of that for me (no need to hire a day of coordinator). The food was out of this world and our guests are still talking about how good the dinner was! Planning a wedding is so stressful, but with Amy helping us it seemed like a breeze!

Throughout all of planning, Amy was attentive and quick to respond to all billion of my questions, never making me feel like I was a bother. Closer to our wedding date, Val worked with us to make sure every single detail was exactly as expected. Both ladies were friendly and organized. Dream venue. Such a smooth experience dealing with in-house catering, chairs, napkins, etc. instead of another venue that requires brides/grooms to find those resources on their own. Everything was perfect. If you are looking for a great location, amazing food and a staff that is willing to go out of their way to make your already special day even more special, you should definitely have your wedding at the Circuit Center Ballroom!

We couldn’t be happier with our choice of The Circuit Center & Bathroom. From the time we walked in the door and saw the room set up for another wedding, we knew we had found the perfect spot. Not to mention, Amy and Val were so helpful throughout the entire process. They answered all of our questions and would give us their honest opinion and suggestions to help us plan the perfect day. The patio was perfect for our cocktail hour. Val worked with all our vendors so we did not have to worry about anything the day. We were so happy with how the day went and I attribute a lot of this to the Circuit Center team. I was even worried about not having time to enjoy our cake and their team made sure we had to go containers to eat the rest later! We can’t thank them enough for making our day perfect.

Very responsive to emails and questions. I dropped by a few times on the weekend to get ideas and talk to her quick about different things. We had a lot of ideas and opinions between me, the bride, and the two mothers and she was always patient and made sure everyone was heard any ideas incorporated to the overall plan. The room was put together beautifully and it was everything I wanted and more. The food was also excellent and everyone was pleased. She will also accommodate special requests and ideas as I requested a WI cheese table, as Pittsburgh has the cookie table. I would recommend Val and the Circuit Center to any couple.

I would recommend the Circuit Center & Ballroom in Pittsburgh. First the location was perfect, we had a lot of out of town guests and had rooms books at the hotel only a block away, and the circuit center has a parking lot across from their location, which cannot be beat in Pittsburgh either. There are plenty of bars and restaurant within walking distance, always something to do! After seeing the space, at first I was intimidated at how large it was, but after being invited to see the space during a few different wedding set ups I fell in love. We had both our ceremony and reception at this location, having them switch the rooms over from looking one way to another was amazing in just an hours time. Amy Hoskings was always available through email or phone to answer any questions we had in the planning process, ask about venders they suggest, or plan to meet up. The few weeks leading up to the wedding, we starting working with Val who was also just as responsive and willing to meet or discuss anything that was on our minds. She was get a giving suggestions, please take them she knows what she is talking about. I knew the day of I would not have to worry about how to hall looked, it was just as I imagined and better. Val kept checking in on us as we were getting ready, had food and drinking waiting for our bridal party after pictures and making sure things were running smoothly. My husband spent more time with her the day of, we were unsure of the exact timeline during the ceremony start time due to guests being seating minutes before the ceremony started; which we did not know would happen. Val was also hard to find during dinner and the reception. The food was fantastic! We loved getting to taste it, and loved it even more on the day of our wedding. All of our guests are still talking about how delicious it was. After we finished eating, we would have loved if our leftovers were boxed up instead of taken away, same with our cake. That was the only downside to our during dinner and our reception. Overall, it was a perfect day! The venture looked perfect, the food was delicious, and everything ran smoothly. We loved the Circuit Center & Ballroom!

Amy and The Fluted Mushroom were absolutely fabulous to us from beginning to end. I cannot say enough nice things about them. From talking through our options and truly listening to how we wanted the day to go, to the actual day itself, Amy and her team were extremely accommodating. She kept us on time, and she was always concerned about how the decisions about the day would make us feel. They even put together a plate for me and my husband, so we wouldn't have to wait in the buffet line. She also saved appetizers for me. Even now, a week after our wedding, we talk about how amazing the team was to us. Oh, did I mentioned the food was FANTASTIC!? Everyone else at the wedding would agreed. As every one knows, there are many moving parts to putting together a successful wedding. Val and the team did a great job of making sure she was not only aware of the details, but made sure she personally was on site to be certain all was running as planned. She certainly understood the importance of how critical it is to get fantastic and kept to the reputation. They were also willing to accommodate all of our requests with respect to deliveries prior to the wedding and worked closely with our planner to be sure they provided whatever we needed to make this day special for our daughter. Honestly - the Circuit Center was absolutely amazing. It was the only venue we went and saw in person and we immediately loved how open it was. We kept in touch with Amy and Val for an entire year before we needed to do anything serious. Amy definitely sold us on the idea to have our reception there and Val, well, Val is a saint. She made our entire experience so easy and it is something I will never forget. The day before the ceremony, she was suggested we use the chivari chairs which is something we wanted from the beginning and Val had open communication with me, my cousin and our entire family/bridal party. Anyone who engaged with her that night - told us the next day how amazing everything was and how helpful Val had been. If we ever renew our marriage, we're coming straight back to the circuit center again and again. The reception was perfect, the food was amazing and the experience is something we will never forget.

We had the great pleasure to work with both Amy and Val for our wedding reception and we could not be more thankful. Everything was literally perfect. Amy was so flexible, helpful and truly invested in our wedding celebration. She was open to talking and meeting with us literally any time that we needed her and walked us through each item of the to do list and all of the preparation for the big day. Amy provided suggestions, captured our vision and executed the reception the EXACT way that we wanted it. She truly cares about every couple and their family and assured that we had everything that we wanted. She helped coordinate with all of our vendors and literally took on a huge job for us with having over 300 people in attendance. I highly recommend working with these people-absolutely amazing!!!! We also had the pleasure of working with Val in the weeks closest to the wedding. Let me start by saying- trust her vision and suggestions. She was able to create a beautiful reception and it was beyond my wildest dreams that it was our wedding reception we were at. She was amazing to work with. Val continually was connected to us, patient with changes that took place the week of the wedding, and was very attentive to our needs. She provided awesome suggestions and took creative reign on our reception and we could not be happier. It was Val's attention to details that made our reception have that extea \"something\" to it. Amy and Val are literally a DREAM TEAM. I could not be happier with our reception. My family and I are extremely appreciative of good food and it has to be exceptional for us to rave about it -- 5 STARS!!! Amy, Val, the kitchen staff, servers and bartenders were absolutely top notch. Our food was hot for over 300 people for a sit down dinner. Our guests are still raving about the food and it is a month later. The portions are huge-that was a concern for us because at most weddings, the food is smaller portioned for a sit down. We are so pleased with the food !! The antipasto is not to be forgotten or discounted either- fabulous!!! The spread was beautiful. They truly made our cocktail hour special. The antipasto display was huge and they were also able to execute our vision with our cigar bar. My husband had one request for our wedding and it was the cigar bar. Val took all of our cigars and created a gorgeous display. This team of people truly care about your wedding day and want it to be special. My family and I could not be more thankful for the hard work that was put into making our day perfect. We are so grateful for Amy and Val. We are overjoyed at how beautiful our reception was and how much attention to detail Amy and Val placed on our wedding. I have to say that they are literally the best of the best. They take on any issue, concern, stress or questions that could possibly come up and make sure that it is handled so you can focus on your significant other and the family and friends that came to celebrate. We are truly so grateful that we had our wedding at the Circuit Center. We made memories to last forever and it was absolutely beautiful. We cannot thank Amy and Val and their team enough. She truly cares about every couple and their family and assured that we had everything that we wanted. She helped coordinate with all of our vendors and literally took on a huge job for us with having over 300 people in attendance. I highly recommend working with these people-absolutely amazing!!!! We also had the pleasure of working with Val in the weeks closest to the wedding. Let me start by saying- trust her vision and suggestions. She was able to create a beautiful reception and it was beyond my wildest dreams that it was our wedding reception we were at. She was amazing to work with. Val continually was connected to us, patient with changes that took place the week of the wedding, and was very attentive to our needs. She provided awesome suggestions and took creative reign on our reception and we could not be happier. It was Val's attention to details that made our reception have that extea \"something\" to it. Amy and Val are literally a DREAM TEAM. I could not be happier with our reception. My family and I are extremely appreciative of good food and it has to be exceptional for us to rave about it -- 5 STARS!!! Amy, Val, the kitchen staff, servers and bartenders were absolutely top notch. Our food was hot for over 300 people for a sit down dinner. Our guests are still raving about the food and it is a month later. The portions are huge-that was a concern for us because at most weddings, the food is smaller portioned for a sit down. We are so pleased with the food !! The antipasto is not to be forgotten or discounted either- fabulous!!! The spread was beautiful. They truly made our cocktail hour special. The antipasto display was huge and they were also able to execute our vision with our cigar bar. My husband had one request for our wedding and it was the cigar bar. Val took all of our cigars and created a gorgeous display. This team of people truly care about your wedding day and want it to be special. My family and I could not be more thankful for the hard work that was put into making our day perfect. We are so grateful for Amy and Val. We are overjoyed at how beautiful our reception was and how much attention to detail Amy and Val placed on our wedding. I have to say that they are literally the best of the best. They take on any issue, concern, stress or questions that could possibly come up and make sure that it is handled so you can focus on your significant other and the family and friends that came to celebrate. We are truly so grateful that we had our wedding at the Circuit Center. We made memories to last forever and it was absolutely beautiful. We cannot thank Amy and Val and their team enough. A 5 star overall rating is not enough to truly rate the overall excellence with the venue, food, staff and total experience as the client and feedback from our guests. If you are considering this venue, do not have ANY second thoughts or deliberation about choosing them for your wedding. Amy and Val were in lock step with us throughout planning every detail, big or small. The food is exceptional, large portions and priced accordingly for the quality and presentation. Wait staff were constantly a moment away to fulfill every need during dinner service and beyond. We had a large wedding with many personal touches and all of our requests to include many family traditions were met without hesitation. The week of the wedding Val worked tirelessly on details and the day of the wedding she kept a large number of guests and bridal party on schedule in a non intrusive manner. The wedding was exquisite, flawlessly executed and will be a lasting memory for both families. Highly recommend The Fluted Mushroom and Circuit Center.

I could not have had a more incredible wedding. I did not use a wedding planner, instead opting to do it all by myself. Thankfully, Amy Hosking, wedding coordinator at the CCB, is absolutely amazing. She is so attentive, so efficient and very organized. The engineer who worked with me on lighting was also very communicative and friendly. Amy was always available to help me when I had a question. I absolutely cannot say enough positive things about Amy, Val, and the rest of the team at the Circuit Center/Fluted Mushroom. Our big day (9/24/2016) was just perfect. From the very first appointment, Amy and Val made us feel excited and at ease -- we knew we were in good hands. Along the way, they offered perfect suggestions on everything from colors to vendors to food choices. For an indecisive bride, this was invaluable. On our big day, the team made sure everything went perfectly -- not one thing was out of place, and I threw a lot of crazy setup their way (including four tables of cookies which they didn't just plate, they created an amazing display to show them all off). The food was absolutely outstanding. Rarely do I go to a wedding and remember the food, but our guests raved about their appetizers (the crab dip is the best) and meals all evening long. The staff was professional and attentive, keeping things moving and taking care of our loved ones with smiles on their faces -- you could tell they all genuinely cared and wanted to make sure everyone was happy and enjoying the evening. The room itself is a blank canvas -- you can easily tailor it into the room of your dreams -- and the location is perfect (plus, there is a huge parking lot just across the street, so convenient for your guests). I would recommend this venue to any bride-to-be, and thank you thank you thank you to the Circuit Center/Fluted Mushroom team for making our wedding the best day ever :).

After pushing back the ceremony due to traffic issues, the staff was still able to accomplish the reception set up and tear down of the ceremony room in 45 minutes rather than an hour. The day of the wedding, Val and the staff were just spot on with everything! They were friendly, accommodating and overall wonderful. I can't express how much it means to us that they made our wedding how we wanted it rather than what others have done in the past. We have already received so many compliments on the food, food presentation and service at the Circuit Center and Ballroom. After the wedding, they made it so easy for everything to be picked up the next day. I highly recommend them for a wedding venue and Val for any of your events. Thank you so much to Val and staff! Beware! Brides need to know what they are getting into with this venue. The Circuit Center as a venue is gorgeous & the Fluted Mushroom in terms of a caterer is quite good. HOWEVER, to book the circuit center, you are required to work with a Fluted Mushroom event coordinator. Amy is a delight to work with but when we transitioned to Val for the day of the event, she ruined the whole experience for us. Please note that I'm a very laid-back bride so it took a LOT for me to write a negative review. Val progressively got worse over the months. Her correspondence was vague at best, but on most occasions she just ignored my questions and didn't respond back. 1 week prior to my wedding I had to email 3 times, call her twice and then call her manager over a period of a week just to try to schedule my last tasks before the event. When she met with my DJ, she flat out started a yelling match with the guy saying that everything for an event is done HER way, no exception. The fighting was highly unprofessional and very awkward!. The day before the wedding I dropped off all of the decorations & she criticized EVERYTHING I brought in! This was extremely hurtful as 1. Im the bride and she's hired to make MY day work out, and 2. we are less 24 hrs from the event, even if you dont agree with my choices there's nothing I could have done to fix it! During the rehearsal she bad mouthed me to my own mother-flat out insulted the bride! I blew it off since I didn't want to cause any awkward feelings prior to the event. Finally, we hit our wedding day where she REALLY showed her true colors. We pay nearly 20K and Val shows up to the wedding in picnic attire. To top that, like our DJ, Val started a fight with our videographer. She called her a spoiled little brat and bad mouthed her to her Fluted Mushroom employees b/c she requested a different vendor meal. Val wouldn't let up on this girl until finally, our videographer had to hide in the bridal suite with us during the cocktail hour just to get away from her! Val, seeing the girl had come to us, stormed in, continued to yell at the girl and threatened to \"drive her business to the ground\"! My husband and I stayed calm, asked if they can avoid each other for the remaining 3 hrs of the night & excused ourselves so we can enjoy the rest of our cocktail hr. We thought everything was fine until one of our guests pointed out during the reception that Val had called the police on our videographer and was having her escorted off of the premises. Again, my husband and I had to leave our own wedding to handle the situation. The officer said that the entire situation was ridiculous and refused to remove our PAID vendor from the event for no cause. Being a videographer, the girl had captured on camera Val's rude comments and insults. At this point, we blew up. Val had verbally fought with two of our vendors on separate occasions and prohibited our paid videographer from capturing our special day multiple times. We informed the Owner of the Venue & Fluted Mushroom of how unprofessional this woman was, but she was never reprimanded or fired. So these are my lasting wedding memories. Altho the venue is pretty, since you HAVE to work with Val, I highly recommend brides to consider other locations. If you do decide to use this place, demand someone other than Val before you sign! Check out all of the negative reviews for this venue on the other review sites, they mostly reference her.

There was confusion on who had to pack up cookies. First it was the family had to, then the boss came out and said they would do it. Overall we would highly recommend this venue. We can only hope they can get some new bar help!

The entire staff from the Fluted Mushroom and the Circuit Center did a great job. They made everything super easy for us. The ballroom looked elegant and was spacious enough for lots of dancing, guests, and cookies! We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

Fluted Mushroom catered my wedding on May 20th at The Terrace at Hyatt House-Southside. They did a excellent job with everything! The food was absolutely delicious; I got so many compliments from my guests. My husband and I were so excited because the servers made sure that we got our food first, so we were actually able to eat at our wedding! Anything that we needed the day of the wedding, they were on top of. When I got icing all over my husband's face after the cake cutting, Val was right there with a napkin! Even dealing with them before the wedding went so smoothly. Amy Hosking is absolutely amazing to deal with. She is so friendly and sweet and helped with everything along the way. No question went unanswered!

I had a really hard time deciding how to review this place- basically because our day of was so perfect, but our planning process was miserable. My husband and I invested most of our wedding budget in venue and catering and they were by far the worst vendor of ours to work with during the planning process. You will constantly feel like you're doing them a favor, when in reality you're paying thousands of dollars for a service. The day of our reception was absolutely perfect. The service day of was amazing, the food was amazing (and by amazing I mean out of this world- like so good), the venue was amazing- it looks so beautiful once everything is decorated. But dealing with this place for a year was a nightmare. I actually had to find room in my wedding budget to hire my own day of coordinator because they were so awful during the planning process. I highly recommend hiring your own day-of coordinator no matter what they say. It will give you piece of mind the day of because they are so incredibly disorganized. The owner could care a little more about the customer service his venue provides during the planning process. I literally only gave this place 3/5 stars because our day of was so great.

We chose the Circuit Center for our wedding reception for a few reasons. We liked the fact that the room was kind of a blank slate, and could really be customized to our liking, we liked the close proximity to the Spring Hill Suites for our out of town guests, and we heard the food catered by The Fluted Mushroom was amazing. It was also a reasonably priced option for a larger number of people. However, I can't recommend this venue to others, because it wasn't the best experience for us. First of all, the venue is not very flexible, so if you're looking to be creative and add things like a popcorn bar, or something similar, this is not the place for you. They have strict policies on what you can bring in, and for most things, the answer is no. Also, halfway through my wedding planning process, the wedding coordinator set a meeting with me to go over some details. When I arrived at the venue, I was informed that the coordinator was no longer with the company, and no one at the company had any idea that I was supposed to have a meeting that day. Afterwards, I was connected with the other wedding coordinator, Val, who was often condescending, and very difficult to talk to at times. After placing a call to the owner, the coordination of my wedding was transferred to the assistant general manager, Amy, who was MUCH better to work with. She was much nicer, and tried to accommodate as much as possible, and did a great job coordinating the event the day of, although I did hire an outside coordinator to ensure the day would run smoothly, after my poor experience with the venue. Overall, the day turned out wonderfully, and the food was amazing, but the overall experience was a bit frustrating, and rather disappointing.

Val was very accommodating and helpful, to my relief. However, I had a couple of my guests tell me that some of the staff was unfriendly to them on the day of the wedding. Also, there was not a table set up for my vendors to eat at, even though this is something I had discussed with the Fluted Mushroom on more than one occasion. Overall, my wedding ended up being a beautiful event and the food was delicious, but I would probably choose another venue if I could do it all over again.

Everything came together beautifully. The fluted mushroom, which is a catering company that owns the venue, did an AMAZING job. Several of our guests said that it was by far the best food that they've ever had at a wedding, and quite a few also said that it was the nicest wedding they've ever been to.\rI did most of the planning with Lori. She was great. Val handled my wedding the day of. She was MIA quite a bit (the reason I didn't give 5 stars), but managed to pull everything off nicely.

Lori Keller (the wedding coordinator there) was an angel!!! she answered each and every one of my questions. she went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and when the day came, I was relaxed and able to completely enjoy myself. I would recommend the circuit center to anyone!!!

The circuit center was a beautiful venue for our wedding. The AV engineer did a wonderful job with the up lighting and lighting during the ceremony. Lori, Nora, and Christy coordinated the wedding perfectly. Nora helped so much with our on site ceremony and they managed a last minute change to have cocktail hour in the courtyard amazingly. I continue to get compliments on how delicious the food was. The staff is great to work with, our wedding was mistake free and they put you at ease leading up to the big day. I would recommend this venue and staff to anyone!

I have to start off by saying that the space is absolutely gorgeous. It's a blank canvas with just enough wow factor that you can stage any wedding of your dreams. The outdoor cocktail hour space is elegant, the exclusive caterer's food is absolutely amazing and the service is rather spectacular. \rThe only hang-ups that we had was the coordinator and some of the people you have to deal with are a little difficult. \rThey would give you their input on what you should do, and make it seem like it was your only option, whenever you really didn't want it that way. For example, I wanted the curtains closed on the stage and they made it seem like it wasn't possible. Until I talked to a bride and that had a wedding a week before, and she said the same thing, but then insisted on closing the curtains and they did it with her. \rJust small details like that they were weird about.\rAlso, the woman in charge of the invoices and collecting money wouldn't send you an invoice until you contacted her asking for it because it was due, and then she would get real rude when you didn't pay it yet. The invoice always needed adjusted and we weren't sending in money for things until things were accurate.\r\rOverall, I had a beautiful wedding!! I am still getting compliments about how gorgeous it was and how amazing the food was. Everything went off without a hitch and everything turned out just the way I wanted. There was just some small difficulties with some of the people we had to deal with. Just remember it's your day and you should get what you want within reason!!

My guests went on and on (and still are) about how amazing the food was -- from cocktail hour to the sit-down dinner -- how efficient the service was. The staff was extremely accommodating to my requests and the room looked fantastic. We had tons of space to socialize and dance!
