We got married here last June and Jeff and his team were great to work with! Curtis worked with us to ensure guests had the correct rooms; was very responsive when more rooms needed to be opened up in our block. The bridal suite easily accommodated 11 of us getting hair and make up and having lunch. The groom/groomsmen got ready in the bridal suite - the living room area was perfect for this without everyone hanging out with our luggage. Luckily we were able to check into that room the night before so it was ready for when everyone met. We were also fortunate enough that were was not a wedding the day before and the team allowed us to come in and set everything up so we did not have to worry about it morning of. A few reviews mentioned the elevator situation - we had our ceremony on the rooftop and the Claridge team ensured all our guests made it to our ceremony. It was slightly delayed because of the amount of guests and only two elevators but luckily all our vendors were very accommodating. The transition from rooftop to gallery for cocktail hour was seamless as they had controlled those two elevators until everyone was there. The gallery was beautiful and the cocktail hour display was fantastic. Our bridal attendants immediately met us each with a plate of food and a drink so we were able to visit with guests quickly. They also were very attentive during the reception and ensured my husband and I had whatever we needed and had eaten. Lance had the nicest and most patience waitstaff and bartenders! For the reception, We decided to have a few tables and photo booth on the platform and had the dancefloor on the main floor in the middle of the tables and I think it worked out perfectly. Everyone could still see the dancefloor and it felt less like a separate space. After the reception we were able to all meet at Wild West Bar which is accessible through The Claridge/Bally's - easy for guests to decide to gamble or dance to the band without having to travel to another location.I would recommend The Claridge for your upcoming event! Great price, flexible packages and great location if you are having a lot of out of town guests! Thank you Jim and Curtis!

We got married here last June and Jeff and his team were great to work with! Jeff Sands and the team at The Claridge went above and beyond for our entire wedding. Anything we wanted or requested we were able to do. The food was absolutely amazing and the Grand Ballroom is absolutely breathtaking! I couldn’t recommend this hotel and venue enough for someone looking for a wedding!

The Claridge Hotel was the perfect venue to celebrate my wedding! The Claridge is elegant and full of charm. The staff at the Claridge went above and beyond! Jeff did a remarkable job! He was very helpful, accommodating, and was communicative, answering every question I had promptly. He was there for me every step of the way from the tour of the Claridge to my wedding day. Lance, the banquet manager, was phenomenal! He worked tirelessly the day of my wedding, ensuring that everything was in place and ran smoothly. He was so kind in helping me envision and bring about the wedding reception of my dreams, and also kept me organized by helping me create a timeline for the day of my wedding. Curtis did a fantastic job handling guest room bookings! He stayed in communication with me until the day of my wedding, accommodating requests with ease. The bridal assistant was amazing! She constantly checked on me and my husband and brought us whatever we needed. The waitstaff and bartenders at the Claridge provided outstanding service. It made me so happy to hear from so many of our wedding guests that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever attended. I am forever grateful for the memorable experience, it was truly the best day of my life!

Beautiful venue. Fabulous food! Very accommodating with the packages (willing to customize). Had 2 major issues day-of. 1) Was given access to the Bridal prep suite the night before. My bridesmaids & decorated the room with balloons. Set-up our champagne station. I hung our matching PJ sets on hangers in the room. When I entered the suite the next morning at 8am, I discovered the room completely empty. Housekeeping had reset the room. Thankfully, the hotel was able to find most of the trash bags and the majority of my items were returned. However, it took time for them to track it all down and I was in tears first thing in the morning!The hotel did send up a breakfast platter & champagne as a peace offering.2) There was no signage (as promised) to direct my guests to the correct floor/room for the ceremony. This delayed the ceremony, but thankfully everyone made it!We discussed the issues with the hotel afterward. They said new protocols are being put in-place so the same issues do not occur in the future. It's unfortunate the Claridge wasn't on top of these things for my event.

I had many problems at this vendor for my wedding, a roach fell from the ceiling onto the plate of one of my guests, another dead roach was found on the champagne glass and the glass was just removed with no apology. Elevator issues causing half my guests to miss my ceremony. Many other issues all of which were discussed with general manager and other staff and my feelings were dismissed and they were very inconsiderate on how this affected my special day. Have many videos and pictures as proof

We couldn't be happier with this venue! We booked a year in advance and any questions, concerns, or planning from one year out until the day of they were very prompt with answering via email and phone. Extra kudos to Jeff Sands who went above and beyond with assisting us and making our cocktail hour extra spectacular with his planning suggestions. He truely wants every couple to have the most amazing experice and goes out of his way to do so! Also, Curtis McNulty who helped situate rooms for us and our guests even after the room block had expired. He was able to get so many of the rooms adjoined or on the same floor which was amazing since we had a few guests and ourselves with small children. THe event space was gorgeous in the grand ballroom with 2 dance floors and plenty of space for our wedding of 130 guests. Everyone raved about the location and food! The meals at dinner as well as cocktails were so delicious. We had a personal server get us drinks and gather cocktail food for us so we could eat and drink while still being able to mingle with all our guests. LOCATION LOCATION. It is connected via the 2nd floor to Ballys hotel/casino which made for an amazing after-wedding experience. Our guests really enjoyed being right in the middle of all the action in Atlantic City. Many of them extended their stays a few days before and after the wedding (in which Curtis was able to get them incredible rates!)Overall, I would 10/10 recommend this venue. If I could do it all over again I would choose this venue again and again. Not only the beauty of the venue or the location but the phenomenal customer service of not only Jeff and Curtis, but the entire staff of the Claridge.

It pains me to have to write this, but I’m just hoping to help others avoid the headache. How they helped us plan everything was perfect. From getting all the details to our food tasting, I thought we were in for the perfect day. However getting married in the middle of July and no working air conditioning is not what I expected. Honestly the worst part of the day, it was miserably hot and we were told they were working on it and “it wasn’t even that bad” but by the end of our reception nothing had changed. My husband was running around grabbing chairs from the front desk the day of because there wasn’t anything to use in the bridal suite, they brought our breakfast 30 minutes before we had to leave for the ceremony even though it was planned to be there 2 hours before. I also had other wedding parties trying to come in the room due to miscommunication on where their suite was. The grooms suite was a conference room with locked bathrooms and when they were able to get in, they were disgustingly dirty. We did have the best wait staff and bartender. They took care of us so well and I’m so thankful for them. But how the coordinators spoke to us and my in laws was just unprofessional. All in all, it was our wedding day and we had a great time but we felt as though it could of been handled so differently. It is a very affordable place to get married, the food was good and kindness of the waitstaff is all we can say.

Our wedding was only made possible by the amazing staff at the Claridge Hotel!!! Jeff, Sandy (bridal attendant), and Lance were absolutely stellar in how they ran the show. They worked seamlessly with all my other vendors and made sure everything ran on time and effortlessly. My husband and I could not be happier with photos and the day, it truly was the most perfect day ever!!!
