The perfect venue with the most helpful and attentive team cannot thank you all enough. The wedding was out of a dream. The staff was very attentive to myself to my husband, myself, and our guests. All the guests complimented the venue itself, and the event coordination and Darren's help are monumentally appreciated. Darren, you are wonderful, and I know your venue inside and out. The willingness to make the day our own and sort through many details was amazing. We recommend Darren and the Arrow Creek team 10/10 and will give you full stars every time. We did not worry about a single thing on the day of our wedding. Your team is incredible.

We booked the Club at ArrowCreek for our wedding of 128 guests. The ceremony was held on the lawn and the reception was in the Vista (indoors). Two of our top reasons for choosing ArrowCreek were the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Reno and the professionalism of the staff. In particular, our point-of-contact and Director of Catering, Darren, used to run events at the Ritz Carlton and was highly professional and attentive. The role of the vendor in providing peace of mind when planning a wedding cannot be overstated, and ArrowCreek delivered! The wedding day went perfectly smoothly, and most importantly, we could relax knowing that all the important things were taken care of. As a side note, if you're a bride and reading this, the bridal suite is from out of a movie!

The Club at ArrowCreek is a true class act! My husband and I held our 120 person ceremony on the grass with the cocktail hour on the patio and the reception in the ballroom. The beauty of the venue speaks for itself. Enough said. Go tour it and you'll be speechless. Additionally, everything from the initial tour to the planning process to the execution of the Big Day was absolutely flawless. Andy and Darren are the dream team. When one ebbs the other flows. You can rest easy knowing your wedding will come to fruition when in the hands of these two professional wedding veterans. Not only are they supportive in every capacity you could want from a sales/wedding coordinator, they exemplify elegance and professionalism to the highest degree.Lastly, the food is replicated in this manner as it is prepared to perfection. Never in my life would I willingly choose a chicken dish over flank steak (luckily I got both), but the citrus spiked chicken breast.... is THAT good. Need I say more? No, but I will. The \"afterglow\" gives a new found meaning to \"drunk munchies\". Heck, it's disrespectful to even lump them into the same category as Kobe Beef Sliders (cooked to perfection) on Hawaiian Rolls with Sidewinder Fries and a generous selection of toppings is anything but a showstopper.Bottomline, if you want an effortlessly stunning wedding, a dream team of support, and michelin quality food, you've found y our place. I’m not sure where to start for this absolutely incredible experience. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at The Club at Arrowcreek. To begin with, Darren is a kind, lovely man, who genuinely wants to make your event perfect. The entire process of planning was so easy – made seamless by Darren, and Luis the day off. They made every effort to accommodate us in every way to make it the most special day for us. They were always quick to respond, making communication simple. All aspects of the contract were clearly explained, and the timeline / due dates were easy to follow. The table settings were gorgeous, the drinks were perfect, and the plated meals and their presentation were outstanding. I love that Arrowcreeks packages include the linens, plates, silverware, glassware, gratuities, and other fees – we didn’t have to stress about a thing! During the reception, the staff were amazing and kind to everyone, and treated us, like royalty. Our friends and family raved about how incredible everything was, saying it was the perfect mix of class and unpretentiousness. Honestly, absolutely everything provided exceeded our hopes and expectations.I cannot recommend this venue, and all of it’s staff, enough. A million thanks to everyone at Arrowcreek for giving us an unbelievable day, and memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

We were so happy we chose Arrowcreek for our special day! We worked closely with Cassie Pete and she was so wonderful to work with and was very detail oriented. She made sure our day ran smoothly and was such a big help before, during, and after the wedding. The day was beautiful and the night was magical. Our guests had a great time and said many great things about the food, drinks, and staff. We loved incorporating our signature cocktails as well and those were a hit! We love and recommend this wedding venue!

I highly recommend hosting a wedding or event at ArrowCreek! They were amazing from beginning to end. We first met with Samantha, and she walked us through everything, and answered all our questions. She was extremely helpful and kind. We worked with Cassie for the remainder of the planning process. She was also absolutely amazing. Coordinating little details the weeks leading up to the wedding, And most importantly She kept everything in check the day of. Everyone made the planning process so easy and comfortable. The venue is gorgeous, and the food is beyond amazing. The set up was more than perfect. I don’t think our wedding would of been as amazing as it was if we had booked elsewhere.

Let me start by saying that Cassie Pete, and the entire team at ArrowCreek is amazing!! Our wedding was phenomenal and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful ceremony site (the 10th hole of the Challenge Course) or a more stunning reception room. Cassie was so accommodating and patient, meeting with us several times, when we couldn't make up our minds, giving us several tours of the grounds and even an afternoon in the golf carts, scouring possible ceremony sites.It was such a relief to know that on my wedding day, all I had to do was show up, play around with a few little odds and ends, and Cassie and her team took care of everything else. Literally everything else. Rather than decorating tables, or running around like a mad woman, I was sipping mimosas with my bridemaids, taking our time getting ready. Sigh. Relief.Our wedding was breathtaking (and more affordable than I thought possible!) and I'm still getting compliments daily. Do yourself a favor and call Cassie to schedule a tour immediately! You will not be disappointed!

Cassie and her team are absolutely amazing. We had our venue cancel on us last minute and as soon as I contacted Cassie to see if they could help us out anyway she was right there. She had us in the very next day talking about pricing and what all our options were. She made planning a wedding in two months seem easier than the 2 years I had to plan my actual wedding. The food was amazing. The day was amazing. The staff did such an amazing job setting everything up and putting up with such a crazy group. These people care so much about making sure your wedding day is the most perfect day. There wasn’t one thing that went wrong and if there was they made sure to fix it so the bride didn’t find out, which I would say is pretty perfect. Cassie and the whole team at ArrowCreek are the greatest people. Thank you so so much.

The Club at ArrowCreek was an INCREDIBLE place to get married. The Club is absolutely beautiful and everything went perfectly. One of the reasons we chose The Club was because Cassie, their wedding goddess, was there. She was able to give wonderful advice throughout the planning process. She was also there to run our rehearsal and took charge of ensuring everything went perfectly on our wedding day. The food for our wedding was mouthwateringly delicious. We worked with the chef who helped create a menu that fit all of our food allergies/preferences. Our guests absolutely raved about the food. My favorite thing about this venue is how warm and cozy it feels. The tall-beamed ceilings and the two giant fireplaces made it such a magical place to get married. Could not recommend this venue more! It was an absolutely perfect day.

Our wedding at The Club is still being talked about by our guests! The Executive Chef took the time to help us create a custom menu (I am gluten free) and all of the staff, including the Director of Events, were extremely helpful throughout the inquiry/booking/planning process. The venue space was set the night before so all of my vendors were able to get in first thing in the morning to finish setting up while my girls and I sipped champagne in the lockers rooms while getting our hair and makeup done :) When you book the venue they even give you a complimentary 4-some to play golf, which we were able to gift to my dad and father-in-law as a thank you! Our outdoor ceremony had gorgeous 360 degree views of downtown and the mountains. Couldn't recommend a better place to get married in Reno!

Overall my wedding at Arrowcreek Country Club was beautiful. That being said it was no thanks to the wedding coordinator Savannah. I originally chose the venue because of a different coordinator Blake, whom worked there previously. He quit a few months before my wedding and so I was stuck with his replacement. She seemed nice enough and promised me that everything would be taken care of. I met with her several times because I was nervous about a new person taking over my wedding and I was feeling good coming into it. However, I noticed she wasn't very available when I tried to call and email but let it go. She was there for rehearsal and rushed us through it, not asking my mother how to decorate the venue or what she could help with. Then the day of the wedding we told her we would be there at 11 and she was no where to be found. She ended up coming over an hour late. It was raining and my family was forced to move the ceremony to the tent, but Savannah never came to ask me if I wanted to do this, or to tell me how the ceremony would go now that is was moved. In fact, I never saw her until 5 minutes before the ceremony when she came to ask me if I was ready. My parents did all the decorating and tear down and the few things we did leave she couldn't \"find anywhere\". She also got my food incorrect and I felt didn't do her job at all. The rest of the venue, including the bartenders and waiters did a great job and my other vendors were awesome. But if you want a venue that has a wedding coordinator who knows what they are doing, don't choose Arrowcreek.

Beginning June 25th, 2011 I began corresponding with an employee at Arrow Creek Golf Club regarding my up and coming wedding scheduled for June 17th, 2012. After discussion with my fiance, we decided to do the reception at his parents home in Wingfield springs but wanted to do the ceremony off site. We, however, were very impressed with the Arrow Creek site and chose this as our ceremony location. I began discussing with Michelle Jennsen options for the ceremony. I was sent a document (see Attachment 1) that outlined pricing information. For a ceremony on the green, I was quoted $250. This document goes on the say that the site fees include set-up, break-down, and white folding chair rental. There are no stipulations which state that ceremony and reception must be booked together, nor was there a minimum price.\r\rCorrespondence after being quoted ceased from Michelle. After I sent many e-mails and called a number of times trying to reach Michelle, without a response, I took it upon myself to call the general manager. Drew Yardley, the manager of Arrow Creek, returned my phone call and discussed this situation with me. Drew explained that they were in the process of hiring a new events coordinator as their previous events coordinator was no longer with them. Michelle Jennesen was merely stepping in to help take on the event coordinators tasks until new help was hired. A contract (see Attachment 2) was then sent from Michelle dated, and written which stated that my total fee would be $250 and that I was to be booked for June 17th, 2012. Correspondence again diminished and in a later phone conversation with Drew, he said that he would see to it that matters were taken care of and that if I were in fact quoted $250 that this fee would be honored.\r\rAnother three weeks passed and this matter was still not finalized. I made a meeting on site to discuss matters. By this point, Danielle Tolleson, the new events coordinator had been hired. She was very understanding and was willing to work with me in this matter. She explained that $250 covered only the site fee and that additional fees would be added to compensate for the chairs and hired help for set-up and break-down. I was quoted another $75 for chairs and then $100 for set-up and break-down fees. This would have brought the total from $250 to $425. Danielle explained that she needed to go discuss this final number with Drew to have it approved. Drew, however, was not satisfied with this. He wanted to charge me $500 and with my contract add a three-month-out addendum stating that there would be a three-month stipulation. Within this stipulation they had the right to cancel the contract without notice or explanation if a member requested booking for this same date.\r\rI was obviously unhappy with this decision. Not only is this way out of the scope of what I was originally promised, this stipulation prevents any planning of a wedding because at any given moment my contract could be abolished. Drew joined this meeting and sat down to tell me that Arrow Creek was a private country club with 400 members who each pay $60,000 for membership fees and that their members take precedence over any outside persons. He went on the say that my $500 would be considered a \"slap in the face...and a suicide to his career\" and that the country club would be losing money on me. I am so glad we booked our wedding at ArrowCreek. They were so nice, professional, and helpful. I got numerous recommendations for vendors from them that turned out great, they were willing to negotiate price with us, and they did a great job of setting everything up so that I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING the day of my wedding except enjoying it. I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else. I have no complaints.

Darren Dains (Director of Catering)

Darren came to the Reno Tahoe area almost 23 years ago after developing a desire to learn event management at Almaden Golf and Country Club in San Jose, California where he was raised. He further developed his Banquet and Special Event skills at The Resort at Squaw Creek and most recently led the Banquet Team at The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe for the last 11 years.Darren lives in Reno with his 17-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter. He enjoys time with his family, going to the gym, golfing, and snowboarding.
