e could not be happier with Glenmore! The ballroom is beautiful! Beth and her staff is amazing! They were very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was beautiful and breathtaking. My mom and I were pleasantly surprised they were already setting up when we dropped things off the Thursday prior. We received many compliments regarding the beautiful of Glenmore, the professionalism of the staff, how wonderful the food was, and many more to add to just how amazing the guests thought the venue was. We could not have been happier with Glenmore and highly recommend to any newly engaged couple!!

My husband and I were sold on Glenmore before we even saw the ballroom. The scenery surrounding the country club is absolutely stunning. Glenmore was very accommodating and allowed us to take pictures anywhere we pleased. They had worked with all of our other vendors before and were very accommodating to them as well as far as set up. We did feel a bit of pressure from the event coordinator to do things \"her way.\" At times, she seemed a bit pushy or condescending, but in the end our day was exactly the way we wanted it. Glenmore is also nice in that you do not need to book an outside caterer. I may be biased, but our reception food was by far the best I have ever had. We received many compliments on the food, the way the ballroom was set up, and the management of the event. The bridal party did mentioned feeling \"rushed\" by the staff during the clean up process.\r\rAll in all, I would recommend this venue for the couple looking for beautiful scenery. There will be no problems as long as you are okay saying \"no\" and clarifying exactly what YOU want.

GLENMORE WAS THE PERFECT PLACE TO HAVE MY WEDDING. As one of the only venues in Charlottesville that can seat about 250, I was so excited to find a place that took care of everything so well. The whole staff was so accommodating, the food was delicious, the setting was very nice, and Beth Hyder the coordinator was a joy to work with. We felt that we were in very good hands.

It was natural for us to select Glenmore as our reception site: my sister and her husband had their reception there years earlier! The setting is so beautiful; we enjoyed cocktails on the terrace with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background, then moved into the ballroom for dinner and dancing. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was lovely. We worked with Beth Hyder who is spectacular and made sure that every detail was perfect for us, and for our families. Our guests - many of whom are from the New York City area - had a wonderful time and LOVED the setting. I cannot imagine a better experience, and I HIGHLY recommend Beth and Glenmore!

Excellent service didn't need a wedding planner. They covered all of the decorations dinner settings and food service. The entire country club is gorgeous overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains.
