Unreal experience! We got married at the popponesset inn on 11.3.23 and it was perfect! Chelsea and team was amazing to work with throughout the wedding planning process. Chelsea and the whole team at New Seabury was incredible! From the beginning she was on top of handling things i hadn't even thought of- and the communication for me was perfect keeping me in the loop but also not bombarding me with unnecessary decision making. They are incredible at what they do! Our rehearsal at the Poppy was beautiful and our guests were raving about the food all weekend! The stations for our wedding in the ballroom was different and guests were very impressed on the food! The entire weekend went off without a hitch- we are so happy that we chose them for our venue and team, I wouldn't hesitate for a second booking for them for your dream wedding!

Chelsea and the whole team at New Seabury was incredible! Working with Jennifer at the Club at New Seabury was truly such a pleasure. She was professional, patient, kind, and eased all nerves I previously had without a day of wedding planner. With Jennifer, I absolutely did not need one because she handled everything. From our first meeting with her, she made us feel at ease. We enjoyed the entire process with her from that first meeting, to our tasting, to meetings in between, to phone calls about the weather, to the rehearsal, and to our big day. It was the absolute happiest day of our lives and went off without a hitch thanks to her.The Club at New Seabury is an amazing place for a wedding. Some highlights + differentiators are below:-The bride gets an individual bridal attendant day of, which I did not know before the day of the wedding-There are options for both indoor and outdoor ceremony options (ours was luckily outdoor, but we had a backup plan!) -We so enjoyed going for a golf cart ride after our ceremony to take in what just happened, complete with our own champagne bottle and appetizers-Their venue coordinators truly act as wedding planners and do an incredible job-Unique room layout for the ballroom area-Great food!! Highly recommend the baked stuffed shrimpI have nothing but good things to say about our experience at the Club at New Seabury, and would especially recommend Jennifer to anyone.

Our wedding at the Poppy Inn this October was spectacular! I grew up going to the Poppy for dinner each summer and it was such a dream come true to have my wedding there, and the entire Poppy crew made it perfect. We worked with Chelsea throughout the entire process, and she was AMAZING! I don’t know what we would’ve done without her guidance and direction during planning. It all came together so beautifully, the service was awesome and Chelsea was on top of every detail the whole night, keeping me and my husband on schedule and taking us where we needed to be and getting us drinks/food! The space was perfect, and even with 200 people (the maximum they can hold) did not feel squished and could always get a drink at the bar(s). And of course the food was delicious :) especially the mini lobster rolls and raw bar. Loved it all, thank you so much to the entire Poppy team for making it so special!!!

Our wedding was perfect! We worked with Jennifer and I cannot say enough great things about her. She is so knowledgable and is calming throughout the entire process. The weather was not on our side (pouring rain and 40 mph winds all day/night), however I would not have changed a thing. The weather made the tent romantic, intimate and cozy. The food is spectacular, our guests raved about the portions and offerings.

Our wedding was perfect! We worked with Jennifer and I cannot say enough great things about her. She is so knowledgable and is calming throughout the entire process. The Popponesset Inn was my dream wedding venue since I was a little girl. My family has a house there, so being able to get married where I spent my summers for 30 years was so special. Jennifer Perry was amazing with getting all the details down, keeping me calm through it all, and giving me the most amazing night of my life! Everyone working the event was great. The brunch the next morning at the inn was delicious and a great way to send off my guests!

Chelsea and the Club at New Seabury made our wedding experience superb. When a hurricane was heading for the Cape during our wedding weekend Chelsea and her team were very adaptable and easy to work with, which made our experience very calming and enjoyable. Our guests have raved about the food, many saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Chelsea also helped facilitate a Welcome Party at the Lure Bar the night prior, which was the perfect casual Cape experience for out of town guests. The New Seabury neighborhood was pristine, quaint and the perfect location for our semi-destination wedding.

This venue is a must! Not only is the space absolutely beautiful, with incredible indoor and outdoor space, with stunning views of the golf course and Nantucket Sound, the staff is what makes this venue so worth it. We worked with Chelsea and her team and every single one of them went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Everything was executed exactly the way we had envisioned it. There was a bridal attendant who took care of our every need and made sure that we had hors d'oeuvres brought to us so we had time to try all of our food, and brought us drinks throughout the night. We were absolutely blown away by the care and attentiveness of this team. It was worth every penny and then some!

I cannot say enough good things about our wedding at the Poppy and Jennifer Perry, our AMAZING coordinator. My wedding at the Popponesset Inn was my dream day! I will be a fan of New Seabury and the Poppy for my entire life. The staff was amazing. Jennifer Perry, our wedding coordinator was a wedding lifeline, she was always prompt with emails or calls, calm, reassuring, and very kind. She made the experience stress free and exciting. She truly loves what she does and will ensure your wedding is perfect. She wore so many hats from decorator to weatherman to friend. The waitstaff was very attentive, especially to the bride and groom (thanks Maddy!) The food was delicious! Our guests raved about the food! And the view from the Poppy tent is unparalleled. Our guests also raved about how unique and beautiful the venue was saying they’d never been to a venue quite like it! And the Poppy tent gave me my dream of having my wedding at my favorite place, the cape cod ocean. So many venues were near the beach but you couldn’t actually see it from the venue. You can’t get any closer to the ocean than the Poppy :) I love the Popponesset Inn, there is no better place to get married. It will forever hold a special place in my heart and I love that my husband and I can go back and eat or stay for every anniversary :) I highly, highly, recommend it!

My wedding at the Popponesset Inn was my dream day! I will be a fan of New Seabury and the Poppy for my entire life. The staff was amazing. We got married in May 2023 at The Poppy. Jennifer Perry made sure every detail was perfect and everything was taken care of. Jennifer made the planning process easy and fun. If you get married here you will be making the best choice you can make. The Poppy tent is the best wedding venue I've ever been to. The views, the atmosphere, everything is unparalleled. We got married at the end of October 2022 and booked our wedding almost exactly a year prior to the date. From the day we booked to the day of the wedding, Chelsea, Wilma, and Jennifer were all absolutely incredible to work with. We had the pleasure of meeting all of them and this team made my dream wedding come true. The food delicious and the place was absolutely beautiful, our guests are still talking about it two months later. The day of organization and scheduling was truly unmatched. The wait staff and coordinators know exactly what they're doing, it felt like they were reading our minds at times throughout the evening. Seriously, nothing beats a drink at cocktail hour on the gorgeous outside gazebo they have, it was such a hit even at the end of October! Often times, you hear about the stress that comes with planning a wedding, but it was a breeze for me thanks to this place and their crew!

My husband and I got married at New Seabury Nov 5, 2022. It was the perfect day for so many reasons. We got engaged in March 2022 and immediately knew that we wanted a big wedding and a bigger party. We picked Nov 5 for our date and after looking only at 2 places we knew that the New Seabury Club was the place for us. Wilma was our wedding coordinator. She was so easy to work with from the first time we met. One of my questions was “if theres a hurricane what changes” and she said confidently, nothing. I was so worried about the weather effecting my big day and I wanted to be sure that wherever I was getting married could handle any and everything. (it turned out to be 75 and sunny and PERFECT) Right away after meeting Wilma I knew that we were in good hands. Her expertise and advice was very calming. When the big day came, everything was seamless. We got ready at the club which was beautiful. We did our first look on the beach and got some incredible pictures. Our ceremony was held outside and reception inside. We had outside vendors bring in special glasses that I loved. We had a 8 piece band as well. Everything was seamless and on the day of my wedding and even leading up to it I just “showed up”. The staff moved flowers, arches and did all the set up and break down perfectly in-between the ceremony and reception. We needed very little decorations for New Seabury because it is so beautiful but the few that I had (Table runners, gold chargers, and votives/ vases) Wilma and the staff displayed more beautiful than I could have envisioned. There were never any hidden costs and her organization with the planning of a 200 person wedding made it so easy. The food was incredible there and truly I cannot think of one bad thing to say about Wilma, the New Seabury Club and their staff. I wish I could repeat my wedding over and over again. I cannot thank Wilma, and the New Seabury staff enough. Every part of our day was completely perfect and the wedding of my dreams.

We got married here in July 2021 and it will always be one of our most favorite days. First of all Jennifer Perry is an angel on earth. She helped us every step of the way and ended up becoming a dear friend. We worked together for almost 2 years since we ended up having to postpone our wedding originally planned for LDW 2020 due to covid. It was a time filled with a lot of unknowns and our only constant was Jennifer. In the end everything worked out wonderfully and we along with our guests had the absolute best time. Not only did we work closely with Jennifer on the planning but on the actual day of the wedding, Jennifer literally helped with everything. She assisted the bar, helped with the table set up, helped with my veil, and made sure everything was set up exactly how her and I discussed. If you have the opportunity to work with Jennifer for your Wedding Day it is such a privilege, she is fantastic!! She will do anything she can to be as accommodating as possible.As for the venue, it's beautiful. Located right on the beach offering stunning views and a good size for your guests to spread out, allowing room for tables and a great dance floor space. We had a band who also fit perfectly on the upper deck and we able to keep the dance floor going all night long. Run, don't walk to book The Poppy. A quintessential cape cod venue.

The country club was a beautiful venue for our wedding but it was really our coordinator Wilma and her team that made it so special. She went above and beyond in so many ways— I will never forget her staying down on the beach with me in the dark, single-handedly doing up my complex double bustle after our sunset pictures were finished, because my bridesmaids didn’t do it correctly the first time. The actual wedding day was perfectly organized by Chelsea and the rest of the New Seabury staff— every aspect of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went according to plan. There were even small surprises on the day-of that we weren’t expecting… a New Seabury staff member was assigned to me for the entire day to help with anything from straightening my train before I walked down the aisle to making sure I had a drink in my hand the entire reception. Another surprise we weren’t expecting was being greeted with a champagne cheers on the beach with a glass for us, our parents, and every single person in our bridal party after our processional out of the ceremony. We did “The Grand” buffet for dinner, and our friends and family still bring up how good the food was every time we reminisce on the wedding. We also had a lot of guests with various food allergies, and the chef/waitstaff were accommodating with alternative food options, and also informing our guests of which foods contained allergens, when asked. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue and experience than what we received at The Poppy, we highly recommend it!!!

We had our wedding at the Poppy this month and Chelsea was our wedding coordinator. We also hosted our small rehearsal dinner under the gazebo off of the ballroom and our brunch after the wedding in the ballroom. Chelsea was an absolute dream to work with. She was professional, attentive, and made planning our wedding much easier. Over the last year of planning, I had lots of questions and Chelsea always answered them patiently and as quickly as possible. When our wedding day arrived, she handled everything smoothly and seamlessly making us and our entire wedding party feel comfortable and excited. I told her how I wanted everything set up for the ceremony and she executed everything exactly how I envisioned it. When I first saw the space set up, I nearly cried - it was absolutely beautiful. Chelsea and all of the other staff did an incredible job making my dream wedding come to life. During the reception, she made sure we had everything we needed at all times. When we had photos taken on the beach during cocktail hour, she had appetizers and drinks sent down for the wedding party. They also provided us with a day-of wedding assistant who offered to get anything I needed, whether it was my lipstick to touch up before photos, or to refill our champagne glasses. At one point in the night, I had to use the restroom just before parent dances and was in a bit of a time crunch. I told Chelsea I was worried I would be stopped by guests on my way there and back so she offered to escort me making sure to politely let guests know I was on a schedule and had to keep moving along. This was so helpful!! In addition to how much we loved working with Chelsea, the food and service at all 3 events was fantastic. If you are considering hosting your wedding at The Club at New Seabury Ballroom or Popponesset Inn, don’t even hesitate. Many of our guests reported that this was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. We wish we could get married at the Poppy all over again! We would give The Club at New Seabury 10 stars if we could. Not only is the property elegant with just the right amount of Cape Cod….the staff made our day even better than we could have imagined. I feel like I’ve known her forever - she is so calm, competent, and makes you feel at ease every step of the way. She was so quick to answer any questions we had, regardless of what time I sent an email and despite having a life of her own. On the day of our wedding my bridal attendant Lenore was amazing. She was quick to grab me a drink or make me a plate food without hesitation. She was so kind and I was so grateful for her.We chose to do the stations instead of a plated meal. Not only did everyone tell us how fantastic the food tasted, we had several people tell us that our wedding is the first wedding they have been to where they actually felt FULL. Words cannot describe how happy we are that we chose to have our wedding at New Seabury. From the day we toured the venue to the wedding day, Chelsea was calm, cool, and collected and helped us every step of the way. Our wedding ended up being on a very windy day after Hurricane Ian and I was worried about having our ceremony inside. The entire event went so smoothly largely due to the incredible staff. Food was great and bartenders were ready with a good pour. Jennifer Perry was our coordinator and she is AMAZING! As soon as we met her I felt like we were in good hands. She is very responsive, organized and professional yet warm at the same time. Provided good feedback on some areas of uncertainty during our meetings based on her many years of experience. You can tell she wants your day to be just as incredible as you do and it was so very appreciated! We were lucky to get a beautiful summer evening for our celebration. The venue is just so special with its location right on the beach. It's an elegant waterfront setting that does not feel pretentious. We highly recommend the Popponesset Inn!

We had the daytime slot which was amazing and allowed us to have fun with the food selections! Working the Chelsea and the chef, we had brunch appetizers that were delicious. I will say the biggest review from the wedding was the food. Every guest said the food was spectacular. We went with the buffet menu. We got lucky with the weather and the view of the ocean was incredible. I can't recommend this venue enough. Everyone was so accommodating and nice and really made the day so special.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is LITERALLY on the beach and steps away from the ocean, The Popponesset Inn is *IT*. We had our wedding reception at The Popponesset Inn this past June, and it was an absolute DREAM. I always wanted my future wedding venue to be on the beach ever since I was little, and my heart just sang when we stepped foot on the property for a tour. I instantly knew that this venue was *the one*. Our wedding coordinator was Wilma Lopez, who was my favorite person to work with during my wedding planning process. Professional, knowledgeable, flexible, and down-to-earth, Wilma made planning so easy and was very responsive when I had any questions. I just love her! She is the other reason why we booked this venue - her welcoming vibe and kind nature confirmed that it would be wonderful working with her. The other staff that I met at The Poppy are wonderful too - such a great group of people! It’s been a little over a month now since our wedding, and my guests are still raving about the location AND the food. Seriously, the food at The Poppy is phenomenal and did not disappoint. When we first were looking at wedding venues in the summer of 2019, we wanted to find an elegant Cape Cod venue near Falmouth or Mashpee that would allow for us to have an indoor event, with a coastal feel. We didn’t know much about the Club at New Seabury but didn’t have many expectations because we hadn’t known anyone to be married there - to this day it still amazes me that thats the case - I cannot think of a more perfect venue. Every one of our expectations was blown out of the water when we took our first tour. The newly renovated ballroom was absolutely stunning, the cocktail hour outdoor gazebo space was gorgeous and so fun, and the coordinators were so kind and accommodating. We booked the venue (and the Popponessett Inn for our rehearsal dinner) for the Spring of 2021 originally, but Covid changed our plans and we had to postpone. It wasn’t easy to make the call, but I’ll never forget when we went in for our initial tasting and Jen, our coordinator, pulled me aside as we were leaving to have a private 1x1 conversation and comfort me about the challenges we were facing. This was just an introduction to how amazing she would be. She could not have been easier to work with through the entire process of planning, postponing, and re-planning our wedding. Every single request of ours was met, no matter how big or small, with no question. The way that Jen tackles every issue or question with the shrug of her shoulder and “yeah no problem I can do that” relieved so much stress, and both of our parents agree, that as the coordinator of both the rehearsal and the wedding, she was the best thing to happen to our wedding planning process.The flow of the day was perfect because Jen is truly an expert and knew exactly what would and wouldn’t work. Our guests were raving about how fantastic the food was, how attentive the staff was, and how everything went so well. One of our favorite parts of the day was taking the golf carts out to the beach with the whole wedding party for photos, and we were assigned our own personal server (Alicia you’re the best xoxo) with a bucket of drinks for us when we headed out there! Thoughtful planning and details like this made the day seamless. We could not have had a better experience or a better wedding day, entirely because of the staff of NSCC. We will truly be forever grateful for everything they did for us, and the Club is now the most special place in the world to us. It was the best decision we made for the whole wedding and we will return to visit for years to come!

Our original wedding date was supposed to be in June of 2020, and we had to postpone due to the pandemic. Our venue coordinator, Wilma, along with all other staff we worked with were extremely accommodating and helped us through every step of the journey. Wilma was wonderful and fun to work with and so understanding of every change we had to make, from major changes down to small details. From the time we booked our original wedding date to the end of our actual wedding day, we worked with The Club at New Seabury for over two years. I would definitely recommend this venue and we look forward to returning for our anniversaries in the future.

We did our wedding at the Ballroom and had our ceremony outside, it was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. The staff were professional, attentive, and our guests raved about them. Our rehearsal dinner was at the Popponesset Inn- the food was delicious, atmosphere was fun, casual, and beautifully set right on the water. We even had a bar set up outside so we could enjoy views of the ocean.Our coordinator, Chelsea, was phenomenal- she so graciously and knowledgeably answered our millions of questions and helped us navigate the confusing and ever changing world of COVID restrictions. My husband and I were married at the Popponesset Inn tent (252 Shore Drive), and we could not have had a more phenomenal experience. We chose the venue because my husband grew up on the Cape, and with weddings every weekend in the Poppy's tent, that became his idea of what his wedding would look like. He says that our wedding far exceeded his (already high) expectations for the venue.We planned our entire wedding around the Poppy, and the venue made it extremely easy. First, they have an incredible staff of friendly professionals who have gone through these wedding planning motions a million times - Chelsea Davis was our planner, and she was fantastic. We also met Wilma and Jennifer, so we can honestly say that every member of the staff is wonderful.They also have recommended vendors who have not only earned their extremely high reputations, they've also worked at the poppy - and with each other - for countless weddings. Everything runs like clockwork on the back-end, while as a Bride, Groom, or guest, you're experiencing the most seamless, organic, and wonderful wedding.The food was also incredible. We had multiple guests say that, not only was the food high quality, but they felt totally satisfied with the portion sizes.I couldn't speak highly enough about our experience.

My now husband and I had the BEST time at our wedding at The Club at New Seabury. We had our reception in the ballroom last October and it was beautiful and so much fun. We are so grateful that Wilma Lopez was our wedding coordinator. Her flexibility during the process of planning a wedding during a pandemic is something that we really appreciated. During the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond to make sure that ourselves and our families did not have to think or worry about a thing, she had everything down to a science and helped us pull off the event of our dreams.

We got married at the New Seabury Country Club in July and have nothing but great things to say! We first started working with our coordinator Wilma almost 3 years ago and due to the pandemic, we had to postpone. She remained flexible, responsive and informative as much as possible throughout the whole process during all the unknowns of re-planning. We dealt with a crazy situation due to the weather on our wedding day and Wilma and the entire staff stayed composed and handled it all very professionally even during all the stress. They made sure we were taken care of the whole day/night and made our day even better and more special. It turned out to be the best day ever and we got so many compliments from our guests on all fronts! Would 100% recommend the New Seabury Country Club or Popponesset Inn!

We had an amazing experience with the Club at New Seabury for our wedding this past October. Wilma was our coordinator, and over more than two years of planning and rescheduling, she was incredible. The venue is so beautiful, and Wilma was extremely accommodating and flexible. Every time I called or emailed, Wilma was responsive and so calm-- there was a solution for all of our concerns and Wilma had seen it a million times and could facilitate (usually immediately). Our vendors were all so happy to work with the New Seabury team, too. Wilma went out of her way to show our photographer around in advance and my hair and makeup artist said the dressing room space was the nicest she had ever worked in.I highly highly recommend New Seabury and Wilma. Our wedding far exceeded my expectations and the team was so professional. Our friends and family were so impressed with the experience. Book it!!!

We're not sure we'll be able to put into words how much it meant to both of us to have our wedding at New Seabury with Jennifer and her team. When the pandemic hit, we had to make the difficult decision to push our wedding one year and Jennifer could not have been more understanding, caring, and kind throughout that process. She was with us every step of the way and we greatly appreciated that as we all navigated such an unknown situation. The venue at New Seabury is second to none on the Cape. After our ceremony at a local church, our guests went to New Seabury for a cocktail reception on the breathtaking gazebo that overlooks the golf course and with gorgeous ocean views. Our wedding party hopped in some golf carts and took photos on the beach, photos that came out incredible thanks to the different backgrounds New Seabury offers. The bar room, grand room, and all facilities were gorgeous and made to feel like they were almost built for us, and us alone. The food was phenomenal, the drinks flowing, and the overall experience was a dream. Jennifer and her team make you feel like the most important people in the world, and they do it so effortlessly and with such professionalism that your day truly belongs to you, the way it should. They are so good at what they do and have done it so many times, it was incredibly comforting to know that they only thing we had to worry about was having the best night of our lives. We also had a brunch the next morning at the Popponesset Inn and again, it was a fantastic, beautiful event with delicious food and drink.We cannot recommend New Seabury enough!

We had our wedding at The Club at New Seabury Ballroom in mid October and it was everything we could have hoped for! We had our ceremony outside overlooking the golf course with the ocean in the background. Immediately following, the wedding party took golf carts to the private beach. This was not only a highlight for us because the beach pictures came out amazing, but it was a ton of fun (especially for the kids) and we had all of our guests tell us how they loved watching us all take off and come back during cocktail hour.The venue is a newly redone space which was so pretty we didn't need to use a lot of extra decorations. The gazebo space was perfect for cocktail hour and the sunset views were spectacular. The food and drinks were wonderful, according to our guests, the winner was the filet of sole.Now here is where New Seabury really excels; the staff. We worked with Jennifer and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was always available for our many questions and last minute changes. Her guidance was priceless, listen to her advice, she knows the space and how weddings work! We had some family drama (who doesnt?!) and she handled it with such ease and grace, always making sure that we were happy and comfortable. In a time when there are severe staffing shortages throughout the hospitality industry, we never felt that impact. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we and our guests had the most wonderful, memorable experience. We can't thank Jennifer and her staff enough!

Our wedding coordinator was Wilma, i showed her my vision from photos, I trusted her and she exceeded my expectations! She pays attention to detail and everything was better than I ever imagined. She also is the nicest human and I felt like I knew her forever the first day I met her. When our day finally came in July 2021, the entire staff was professional and friendly, so many of our guests complimented the service, the delicious FOOD!, and the beautiful location. It is a dream come true Cape Cod wedding venue! Our entire experience from start to finish with the team at New Seabury was amazing. The Poppy is unlike any other venue! It’s location is incredible. Every guest will have a stunning view of the water and sunset. The outdoor/beachy vibes are so authentically Cape Cod… We are so lucky to have had our wedding here! Additionally - they were absolutely amazing to work with. We worked with Chelsea and - through Covid, date changes, capacity restrictions, etc - they helped us navigate everything and made the process as easy as it could’ve been. The food was phenomenal, all of their vendor recommendations were 10/10, and the day-of service that Chelsea provided was unparalleled. I didn’t worry about a thing all day; she had the show running. Recommend 10/10 - wish I could do it over a million times.

My wife and I got married in May of 2021 at the Popponsset and words simply can not describe how incredible the event was. We started our search like many other couples, heading down the Cape for a weekend and visiting venue after venue. The Poppy was our last spot and instantly we knew it was our venue. Not only is the setting incredible with a quintessential Cape Cod beach wedding vibe, everything about the Poppy is perfect. Our wedding was incredible. The venue wow guests with a direct beachfront wedding, the food blew our guests away (filet and lobster were VERY popular), and the bar was fast, ready with a good pour and there was never a crowd standing around waiting. Also, the dance floor in the middle of the room with the band elevated created a concert-like feeling and truly everyone was involved in the party, even those who are not \"dancers\" The Poppy is a well-oiled machine and it shows. My wife and I loved our bridal attendant, she was always by our side making sure our drinks were full, we were eating, and having the best time. She even made us a plate of extra food and put it in the bridal suite for after the wedding, incredible! If the venue and day of staff were not enough to sell us, we also met Wilma, who truly became part of our family. From the second we met Wilma we knew she would ensure our wedding day was everything we wanted and then some. What we didn't know is that our planned date of May 2020 would be pushed a year. What we learned is that there is simply no problem Wilma can't solve. She is so responsive, understanding, and incredibly giving of her time. I vividly remember the day my wife and I made the call to Wilma to push our wedding date, both of us dreading the call thinking there would be major financial repercussions, Wilma was cool as can be, asked what we would like our new date to be and moved it on the spot. And that was just one example of Wilma being Wilma. Both our families got to know Wilma through our tasting, planning and the day off and everyone loves Wilma. Every vendor we hired asked if we were working with Wilma and when we confirmed they would always say \"SHE IS THE BEST\". Wilma, the best simply isn't a good enough word to describe you. You are a wedding HERO! Kristen and I would never have been able to pull off the best day of our lives without you. We are so honored to have gotten the chance to work with you and to call you a friend and a part of our family. Thank you for everything!

We got married on 6/27/21 at the Popponesset Inn and Wilma was our coordinator. I can't recommend both Wilma and the whole Club at New Seabury staff enough!! The venue itself is gorgeous and we got beautiful pictures on the beach. You really can't beat that view. We had our ceremony in the tent and the ocean was a great backdrop. The staff here are true professionals. Many of our other vendors remarked that they are the best in the business. We had to reschedule due to COVID and Wilma was so accommodating. She worked with us as we decided on a new date and took so much stress off of us! When it came to the actual wedding day, everyone was remarking on how smooth everything ran. We are so happy we chose the Poppy and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a picture perfect Cape Cod wedding.

We got married on 6/27/21 at the Popponesset Inn and Wilma was our coordinator. I can't recommend both Wilma and the whole Club at New Seabury staff enough!! The venue itself is gorgeous and we got beautiful pictures on the beach. You really can't beat that view. We had our ceremony in the tent and the ocean was a great backdrop. The staff here are true professionals. Many of our other vendors remarked that they are the best in the business. We had to reschedule due to COVID and Wilma was so accommodating. She worked with us as we decided on a new date and took so much stress off of us! When it came to the actual wedding day, everyone was remarking on how smooth everything ran. We are so happy we chose the Poppy and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a picture perfect Cape Cod wedding.

If you are looking to have a Beach Wedding on Cape Cod, Look no further. The Popponesset Inn’s Poppy Tent is The Venue. It is literally on the beach. It’s not a tent in the sense. It is a permanent structure with a roof and windows which can be rolled up in or down depending on the weather. There are flawless harmonious views of the sand, ocean, and sky. Wedding Pictures on the Beach are breath taking.The ceiling of the Poppy has sails and it has the beachy feeling you are envisioning. The food served is second to none. The dance floor is plentiful and almost everyone was up. The wait staff were friendly, courteous, and very engaging. At this time, I can only review the venue, need to say The Wedding and Reception was Perfect.We dealt with the sales Rep. Jennifer Perry for 2 ½ years though delaying the wedding due to Covid. She had wonderful suggestions to add to our day. Jen was always in touch and would call or receive calls from us. She would always get back in a timely manner. I was nervous after the Rehearsal and Jen sensed it. We talked and her words calmed me down. She said “Tomorrow you are marrying the man you Love. You have made all the decisions. Tomorrow, You and your soon to be husband are OUR GUESTS”. All I heard were compliments on the venue, food, and the whole wedding. Looking back I wouldn’t change a thing. I can’t make perfect better. I had my wedding here on May 16th, 2021. After a crazy year of planning and constant last minute changes due to COVID-19, I had the wedding of my DREAMS. I worked with Wilma (who I love and now consider a great friend) and she was so attentive and took all of my dreams and made them into a reality that I couldn't have even dreamed of. Her calm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm was the most comforting feeling during the whole process. We had our rehearsal sinner at The Ball Room and Gazebo, which was perfect. The Gazebo area is to die for! The wedding the next day was at The Poppy. We had an amazing sunset and got sunset photos that will last a lifetime. The bridal suite at the venue was perfect. Now on to the food, OMG everything was beyond delicious. I had the short rib and I am still dreaming about it. They say that you never eat on your wedding day, but I was not letting any of that food get past me! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to any couple looking to have the best wedding imaginable, even with some COVID restrictions. The venue staff were nothing short of perfect, all of my guests could not stop talking about how kind and attentive everyone was. I wish I could relive this day over 100 times. Lastly, if you get to work with Jennifer or Wilma they are both great! BOOOK THIS VENUE NOW, you will not regret it!

The Poppy Tent is definitely the venue you want to have your wedding at!! My (now) husband and I originally had a 200+ person wedding, prior to covid. When covid hit, we were up in the air with what was going to happen. Eventually, we realized our large wedding wouldn't happen and we had to postpone with the other venue. However, my husband and I knew we still wanted to get married this year because our date was important and we had been waiting long enough! With less than 2 month until our wedding, my photographer Amanda from Shoreshotz put us in contact with Wilma at The Poppy. Wilma made all of this hectic nonsense a breeze! She was so easy to work with, accommodating, and really helped us pull together a 38 person wedding in less than 2 months. It was stressful, but Wilma made it much less stressful. She helped us create a beautiful wedding, at literally the perfect venue, and it is a day we will always remember. I am so thankful that the world brought us to the situation because we had a gorgeous, intimate wedding here! I couldn't recommend it more!!

Look no further, The Poppy is the place for your wedding! Wilma was the absolute best and helped us pull off our wedding without any stress. Somehow, we pulled off a wedding in 8 weeks and it wouldn’t have happened without her! The rest of the staff was also amazing, as well as the food. Everyone felt safe and comfortable during our event and we have received so many compliments on how well the wedding did was. Our original wedding was supposed to be for 140 ppl at a different venue which was ultimately canceled. We decided we still wanted to marry regardless and our photographer, Amanda at Shoreshotz Photography, suggested we look at the Popponesset Inn in Mashpee, which I never heard of prior. We were so happy with them from the initial meeting until the wedding day. We married on 10/2/2020 at the Popponesset Inn with less than 50 people in their outdoor tent and it was an absolutely perfect day! We never imagined our wedding to be like this but ultimately it was better than we ever expected regardless of the current circumstances. This wedding turned out to be more of our vision than our original wedding. Thank you, Wilma and the rest of the staff for making our wedding an absolute dream!

We are so glad we took my mom’s advice! We married on 9/5/2020 at the Popponesset Inn with less than 50 people in their outdoor tent and it was an absolutely beautiful / perfect day! We never imagined our wedding to be like this but ultimately it was better than we ever expected regardless of the current circumstances. Brian, John and Eddie were the bartenders we selected to work our event after knowing them for several years now. They work extremely hard to make sure that there is never a long wait for drinks and that all of their customers are happy. The Inn has always had a special place in our heart, but we are eternally grateful for the amazing staff that work here and can honestly say they are like family to us. If you decide to get married here, you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I got married at the Popponesset August 2019. I knew that was where I wanted to get married because it's the closest you get to being in the ocean, without being in the ocean. The views are insane. Everything was PERFECT! The ambiance speaks for itself but honestly the staff were INCREDIBLE. Dawn was our coordinator and she was perfect-so friendly and responsive, she had every detail figured out. There was a woman assigned to the bride who brought champagne and apps to a special room so the bride and groom can breathe and decompress for a minute (in air conditioning!). Everyone was amazing, our guests had an amazing time. Would get married there over and over again!! HIGHLY recommend.
