Based in Anaheim, CA, The Colony House is a rustic venue that caters to weddings and other romantic events. First built in 1948 as a tractor factory, this property features a harmonious blend of industrial-chic and country-style charm. The indoor and outdoor spaces and various in-house services ensure that you and your partner have a seamless wedding planning process.
The Colony House features a carefully designed get-ready suite where you and your wedding party can comfortably prepare for the altar. You will then have a variety of event spaces to choose from, which can host from 100 to 250 guests at a time. Their largest option is The Great Room, which sports an eclectic design scheme to complete your romantic celebration. The exposed brick wall, natural wood accents, and muted color scheme will make a memorable backdrop to your big day. Strings of bistro lighting and exposed wooden beams decorate the vaulted, craftsman-style ceiling, covering your event in a warm, rustic glow. Upstairs is The Loft, which provides an open, versatile space for cocktail hours and intimate gatherings with up to 150 guests. The wall-to-wall windows offer both impressive city views and plenty of natural light. If you prefer an outdoor celebration, both the Patio and Backyard allow you and your guests to enjoy your event under the sun. A natural living wall, bistro lights, and surrounding palm trees will add a lush touch to your big day. This venue is also near various attractions and theme parks, including Disneyland Park, Knott's Berry Farm, and Adventure City, giving soon-to-be-weds plenty of options for a memorable wedding weekend.

The Colony House Reviews
Mayra Nava(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-06-2021 We absolutely fell in love when we did the tour of the space. Because of COVID and lockdown, I was very anxious and nervous about what was going to happen if we had to postpone or cancel. Chelsea was beyond helpful and answered all of my questions. She made sure we were happy and comfortable with all of the changes. She went above and beyond! The staff was also very kind and helpful during the wedding. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about the venue and the food days after the wedding. I highly recommend this venue to everyone, you won’t be disappointed. Reviewed on 21-06-2021
Noelle Bills(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-06-2019 From the moment we walked in to evaluate this venue for my son's wedding, we fell in love with the vibe. From polished cement floors, to wood and brick walls, to the open beam ceiling, the mix of glass and marble bar counter-tops, the upstairs cocktail area and the gorgeous bathrooms...it was PERFECT for what we were looking for. We worked with Nicole every step of the way and she was both passionate and extremely personable, treating us like family. The food was delicious (so much to choose from), the staff was very accommodating, and the wedding/receptions was an amazing night the bride, groom, family and guests will never forget! Vanessa Gomez(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-06-2019 The Colony House was one of our top favorites after shopping around with other venues in Orange County. Ultimately, we just loved the esthetics of the venue. We loved the wood beams and brick wall, it just went perfectly with what we envisioned. Overall, everyone that we came into contact with at the Colony House was prompt in answering all of our emails..... and let me tell you, I had a lot of questions. They were patient with me and always answered all my concerns. The food was one of my favorite parts. When my now husband and I did the food tasting, we were impressed in that almost everything we tried was delicious. Our guest loved the food! The only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five is because we were not able to use outside vendors for such things as linens and lighting. Also, we had to purchase insurance for ALL the vendors who did not have their own. Some of our vendors like the mariachi and photo booth did not have insurance, so we had to pay close to $200 for each vendor. It was an easy process, nonetheless; we were already paying a lot of money and our bill just kept adding up. Overall, great venue, our guests loved it. Just be ready to pay for such a beautiful venue. Reviewed on 25-06-2019
Kathy Nguyen(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-02-2020 If you are looking at this place as a potential wedding venue and care about communication and details, this venue is definitely not for you.1. When asking about pricing, they gave me a different price than what was listed on the price sheet they sent.2. They spelled my name wrong multiple times even though it's part of my email address.3. Scheduling a venue tour was a mess. First, it got scheduled for the wrong date even though I put the date clearly in all my emails. Then, on the day of the tour, they kept the door locked and never showed up. I called them every 3-4 minutes and emailed them since we were just standing awkwardly in the parking lot. We left after waiting 25 minutes without a single word from them. 4. Instead of sincerely apologizing for what happened above, they tried to blame it on their vendors who were setting up for an event that night, saying that they were supposed to let us in the building instead when in fact, a vendor walked past us, said they were surprised to see us standing outside, and closed the door on us. To me, this shows a complete lack of professionalism and if I were a vendor, I wouldn't want to work with them either.5. After the failed venue tour, they sent us an email that had been clearly copied and pasted asking us what our names were, event date, guest count, etc. even though all that had already been clearly communicated before. The venue looks gorgeous in pictures but from what we were able to see, is a lot smaller in person. Very disappointed since this was actually my first choice for a wedding venue but I'd rather go with someone who will actually show up for appointments on time and communicate with me. Danielle Sandoval(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-01-2018 The Colony House was one of my top picks for a wedding venue. Luckily we jumped on it as soon as we got engaged, it books up quickly. The best part of the working with the Colony House, besides the awesome venue, is the ability to work with your budget. They offer so many menu options that you can really decide on what is the best choice for your price range. Working with the Colony House staff was super easy and they were all very responsive. From the initial inquiry, to the booking process, the tasting experience and the final walk through. I always felt like they cared and that they had our best interest in mind. We never felt pressured or mislead, everything was very straightforward and well explained. Leading up to the day and day of the wedding The Colony House worked very well with our coordinator and everything was done flawlessly. The room was flipped during cocktail hour and everything really just worked out as planned. The staff help set up just as they did to take it all down. We are forever grateful for the Colony House and staff for being super attentive and reliable. THANK YOU! Reviewed on 24-01-2018

Alan Ridenour(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-07-2016 We first loved the Colony House for the look of the space and booked for ceremony and reception. It was great to work with Nicole, Jessica and Laurie from 24 Carrots throughout the entire wedding process. We visited the space a few times before our wedding to figure out decor and logistics. They were accommodating to our requests, including some last minute ones, to make sure our decor, rentals, and other necessary coordination could be done successfully. We really appreciated their recommendations and used their preferred vendors for florals, DJ, and nearby hotel. Overall, very happy with our experience with the team at 24 Carrots and we loved having our wedding at the Colony House! Reviewed on 18-09-2016
Sonya Kuo(wedding party)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-04-2015 As a wedding coordinator, it was a dream to work with Jessica and the 24 Carrots Catering Team at The Colony House! We were able to communicate quickly through email to make sure everything was set for our bride and groom. The space itself is beautiful, modern, clean, and spacious. The wedding I coordinated had about 140 guests which all fit comfortably inside the Great Room. We had planned for the cocktail hour to be on the patio with the succulent wall, but due to a little bit of rain, we went with plan B to move it upstairs to the loft. It worked out well because there is a nice bar up there, some nice furniture and we just moved the cocktail rounds up there. The ceremony space was quickly flipped into the reception set-up during the cocktail hour and I have to say that Jessica and the 24 Carrots team are pros at getting this set-up in a timely manner. It was very organized and set-up well. The 24 Carrots Catering team prepared delicious food for the guests. The bride and groom wanted a buffet line and the 24 Carrots Team was able to dismiss tables quickly in 2 lines to expedite food service. Guests were fed promptly and they enjoyed the food! As a coordinator, the set-up and the food service could not have gone more smoothly, which means our timeline runs according to plan. This venue is amazing because you can decorate it a lot or you can go minimalistic and still have it look really nice. Inside, they have a brick wall, a raised stage area where we put the DJ, wooden moving walls that can section off areas, a nice big bar, bathrooms accessible, and a nice patio outside with a big succulent wall and market lights. There are many different walls to take photos against to get different looks for your photos. It was a pleasure to work at The Colony House with the 24 Carrots Catering Team and I look forward to the next wedding and event here! Reviewed on 30-04-2016
