The Cottage Farmhouse
The Cottage Farmhouse is a new barn venue in Glencoe, MN, that caters to wedding ceremonies and receptions. Sitting just short of an hour away from Minneapolis, this farm is ideal for couples seeking a peaceful retreat from the fast-paced city life. You will have a variety of event spaces to choose from to host your big day, from the century-old barn to the open-air pastures. Owned and operated by a mother-and-daughter team since 2016, The Cottage Farmhouse features a nature-inspired elegance throughout the property. You will have 15 acres of lush, pastoral land to transform into your ideal nuptial setting. One of their main indoor event spaces is a large, hundred-year-old white dairy barn, which can accommodate up to 250 attendees. Inside features a 30-foot ceiling, natural wood details, and plenty of space to host an extravagant ceremony. The open fields and tree groves are also available for couples that prefer to say their vows under the sun. After your ceremony concludes, you and your loved ones can move to either the indoor Reception Barn or a large, romantic pergola to enjoy the evening. This property also features an array of structures, from the intimate Corn Crib to the lush Fruit Grove to host your photo sessions. The team behind The Cottage Farmhouse can customize a service package for you, to ensure you receive all the planning assistance you need. Custom wooden tables, Chiavari chairs, and a variety of decor items are available to give your celebration a sophisticated, elegant aesthetic. The staff will also connect you with their list of recommended caterers and other vendors, to give you a full-service experience.

We absolutely loved our experience at the cottage farmhouse. The owners were so friendly - they were very responsive over email and answered all of our questions. We got a day of coordinator when we booked our wedding and she made the day run so smoothly. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was along with how good the catering was. We also loved all the locations available to use! Overall, would highly recommend!

My husband and I were very disappointed with our experience at the cottage farmhouse. Our wedding was late October and we had asked about the venue being heated multiple times throughout our engagement and were always reassured that there was heat and our guests would be warm in the reception barn. We had our final walkthrough and asked about the propane heaters they had in storage. We were told they donât rent them out anymore because the barn was heated and not to worry. The day of our wedding came and it was a windy 30 degree day. The first cold day of fall. Family members decorated the reception barn in the morning, their fingers were red and numb because it was so cold inside the barn. We asked about the heat and were told it was on and would warm up. The day went on and the reception barn did not get above 54 degrees. Our guests were wearing jackets while they ate, my 88 year old grandmother was wrapped in blankets. Guests were going to the bathroom or their vehicles just to warm up. We had the property until 11 and everyone had left by 930 because they were cold. We were not able to do the dollar dance because so many guests left early. We were very disappointed and contacted the owners wanting a partial refund. They responded saying they have a seasonal venue and are climate controlled for fall temps not winter. They gave us $250 back, not even a fourth of what we paid. We feel we should have gotten more money back. They should not be advertising a climate controlled building. They reassured us throughout the day that our guests would be warm and did nothing to actually make that happen. They knew the weather forecast for the day and couldâve used other things to help heat the building for us and our guests. Many of our guests have contacted us since our wedding apologizing for leaving early, saying they were too cold to stay longer. Many guests have also asked us why it was so cold if we were told it was heated. Overall, the venue is beautiful but we had a very negative experience there. We will not recommend the cottage farmhouse to others.

We got married at TCF in October and it was the most perfect day ever. The entire day went seamlessly thanks to our coordinator, vendors, and all the staff on venue! It is the perfect little barn venue and the pictures and memories will last a lifetime. The owners also surprised us morning of the wedding with a sweet wedding gift of personalized cookies and draping services (because they had done a shoot earlier that week!) I could not recommend TCF more, and the people we worked with made it all the better and memorable!!

I had my wedding at The Cottage Farmhouse at the end of September of 2023. It was a perfect day! I couldnât recommend the venue more. The ceremony space and the reception barn is AMAZING! It rained during our reception and when I say rained I mean it flash flood type of rain!! If it wasnât for the new French doors we would have been soaked. Everyone was so helpful as well! It was just perfect!

The Cottage Farmhouse was an amazing place to have our wedding. The team there is really nice and easy to work with. The venue itself is beautiful, and it was great to have indoor and outdoor options that we loved. They were reasonably priced compared to many other farm venues in the broader Twin Cities area. We are very glad we got married here!

The venue itself is beautiful, and it was great to have indoor and outdoor options that we loved. They were reasonably priced compared to many other farm venues in the broader Twin Cities area. The cottage farmhouse is one of the prettiest barn venues iâve ever seen!! the owners are the sweetest people and they have a ton of people help you throughout your wedding day! the picture locations are gorgeous and thereâs so many to choose from and the getting ready areas are spacious and beautiful. i would totally recommend getting married here if you want a barn venue because they have both a ceremony and reception barn and my wedding went so smoothly and i wasnât worried about a thing !

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about the venue and everyone we worked with. I highly recommend also booking the day-of coordinator option. Kelsie took care of everything so that everyone could relax and enjoy the day. She kept the timing for the wedding, queued the wedding party processional, queued the DJ, worked with every vendor for us. She took all of the burden off of us and we could not have done it without her! TCF has an amazing team that is so positive and sweet, they truly do anything to make your day easy and beautiful. The venue is stunning, they just renovated the reception barn and added on, which was an amazing surprise for us. There are many spots for guests to be during cocktail hour and the reception. The bonfire pit, pergola, and patio were a hit! Both the bridal cottage and granary for the bridesmaids and groomsmen were the perfect spots to get ready. There was plenty of space, a full bathroom and kitchen, mirrors and natural lighting. The granary has a ping pong and pool table for the groomsmen. Their prices are great, they can accommodate for a wide range of guests, and have multiple options for ceremony and reception locations. The catering company they work with has 3 tiers for all different pricing, cuisines and styles. I could go on about how incredible our venue was, I recommend The Cottage Farmhouse to everyone!!

Itâs such a cozy feel with such beautiful touches whether it be in the decor options the venue provides (makes cleaning up at the end of the night sooo nice), the gorgeous ceremony barn, their updated reception barn, or the stunning pergola which is beautifully designed for any type of aesthetic youâre going for. The staff is top notch. You get a personal day of gal, Kelsie. She made my day chaos free and took care of so many details no bride wants to worry about on their big day. Kim and Bailey were so great to work with and are literally the sweet humans. I wouldnât have changed one thing on my entire wedding day and thatâs all thanks to the Cottage Farmhouse.

The owners were great to work with, and the venue has decor packages and a coordinator if you choose to use them- of course as additional costs. Our wedding at The Cottage Farmhouse was flawless, I have nothing but good things to say about the venue. The bridal suite had plenty of room for me and my bridesmaids to get ready the day of, and was perfect to have a separate spot for the guys to get ready. We got married in the barn and had dinner under the pergola - the dinner turned out stunning with all the draping. There was plenty of room for everyone and had all of our guests comment what a beautiful venue it was. Kim and Bailey made the day so easy, and weâre always quick to respond if I had any questions. We booked the day of coordinator, Kelsie, and couldnât have done it without her. Itâs worth it to not be the go to person on your wedding day, and she was there to assist with the vendors and kept the entire day running smoothly. I wouldnât change a thing and would highly recommend The Cottage Farmhouse - a huge bonus is all the different locations for pictures, especially at sunset.

We chose to have our reception outside in the pergola with white drapes (highly recommend). The owners are extremely organized and knowledgeable and made sure everything ran smoothly. Location wise, we wished there were hotels closer by for guests but this isnât the venueâs fault. Be sure to plan a shuttle for your guests or make plans beforehand! The venue has a handful of places to take amazing photos before and after the wedding. Our guests loved the bonfire pit and room for bag toss and what not. Thank you for an amazing day!

My wife and I just married this past weekend, May 1st, and I could not write the review fast enough. Kim and Bailey, the owners, were polite, professional, patient, kind and every other positive adjective you could assign to someone. We booked our wedding the first week of March 2020, right before COVID hit, and at the time we didn't think it would be an issue. We proceeded forward thinking that 15 months later COVID would no longer be an issue but clearly we were wrong. Kim and Bailey met with us multiple times, talked us off the ledge, provided us insight into the previous years weddings during the height of COVID, and did everything they could to reassure us that everything would be handled professionally, safely and really set our minds at ease. It was nice working with The Cottage Farmhouse and their exclusive food/beverage vendor, A'Britin Catering. This arrangement let us rest easy that everything would go off without a hitch. Having that exclusive relationship reassures you that they've been there before, they've hosted weddings and prepared food there before, they've bartended/catered there before and know all of the important aspects (where to set up, where to cook, where to put the bar, etc). Speaking of the bar, they have this really cute trailer they use as the bar, which is called Hitch & Sip bar on wheels. They have a beautiful home on the property that is used as the bridal suite. It's an old farm house with all the amenities the bride and her bridesmaids could need to prepare for the big day. The groom and groomsmen have an area of their own separate of the bridal suite that allows them to get ready and relax. The room is outfit with a pool table/ping pong table, a mini fridge, ample lighting and air conditioning for those hot and humid Minnesota Summer days.They have two locations on the property that can be used for the wedding ceremony and they are both absolutely beautiful. The reception barn was perfect for both the reception and the dance to follow.If all of this sounds like a lot, they have an absolutely wonderful wedding coordinator that I would recommend everyone work with if you so choose that service. Kelsie, the wedding coordinator, was there for anything we needed and if there was anything out of sorts or that went wrong, neither of us were ever aware.Overall, there isn't one thing bad we could say about The Cottage Farmhouse. The property, the owners, the wedding coordinator were A++. We will play this day over in our minds for the rest of our lives, and we will never have anything but fond memories when thinking of The Cottage Farmhouse.

We started our day in the bridal cottage, which is adorable and homey. There was more than enough space, and it had a perfect setup for makeup and hair. The boys has a great time in the granary as well. There were lots of great spots for pictures and we can't wait to see our professional photos of the property. We originally wanted to get married outside, but decided to do the ceremony in the main barn. It was stunning...! I can't count how many compliments we got on the barn. The pergola and reception barn were spacious and wonderful for entertainment, which was nice especially during these crazy times. My fiancĂŠ and I had a terrible experience with the owners of the venue. After booking with them and clarifying that we needed accommodations for 200 guests, and being assured it would not be a problem we proceeded to plan our wedding. Booking vendors for photography, floral, music, dessert, and spent hours talking through catering and more. After trying to reach out to local hotels multiple times to create a room block for guests we finally heard back and were hit with laughter from staff. We found out that nearly all hotels were booked in a 40 min radius for a local event that was celebrating its 150th anniversary. After talking with the owners Kim and Bailey at The Cottage Farmhouse, they did make some calls for us and found roughly 40 rooms spread out in various hotels within a 40 min drive of the venue. In addition to the rooms being spread out so much that shuttling to and from would have been unreasonable, 14 of the beds were communal living at the local bed and breakfast. As much as it was great of them to try to help, where it was rather disgusting to us is they felt this was sufficient for 200 guests all traveling a minimum of 2 hour to attend and some traveling out of the country and out of state. Even going so far as to pat themselves on the back for their assistance. Either they are unaware of local impeding events happening locally (not a great look for a wedding coordinating business) or they did know about the event and are willing to lie rather than have best intentions for their clients. Either way, we recommend skipping this venue. In addition to this there were many hidden fees and a lot of restrictions within their one approved catering company.

My fiancĂŠ and I had the absolute WORST experience with the owners (Kim and Bailey). I strongly encourage you to avoid this location. Our issue wasnât with the venue itself- the venue is quite beautiful. Our issue came into play by the deceptive owners. We took a tour of this property in September and we really enjoyed the venue itself. We let Kim know multiple times that we have a wedding party of 220 people and many would be coming from out of state/country and that hotel accommodations were a vital part of the wedding process. Kim ASSURED us we would have absolutely no issues getting a hotel and we trusted her expertise. We ended up booking our wedding date for Friday, July 24th a couple days after the tour and reached out to the hotels to set up a hotel block for the night of the wedding.To our surprise, we were actually laughed at by the hotels for thinking there would be a block available for this weekend. We were informed that July 24th just so happened to be the 150th anniversary of the Wright County Fair and there was a Tractor Pull event that same night.. we were informed that hotels had been booked since last year. This event has taken place the same weekend every year for the last 150 years and the owners decided not to mention that to us when we spoke to the importance of hotel accommodations. (The closest hotel that could accommodate a block was in Chaska which is 40 miles away.)We reached out to Kim and Bailey and asked them about this and they informed us that it isnât their job to know whatâs going on in the community. We found this answer shocking as that is absolutely something their company should be aware of. They did say they wanted to try and help the situation and let us know theyâd get back to us. When they called us back- their resolution was that they had found a total of 30 hotel rooms split among 4 different hotels in 4 different cities.. this âsolutionâ was absolutely ridiculous for so many reasons. Their only other offer was to switch our date which we also couldnât do since many of our guests had already booked their flights to Minnesota. We nicely and professionally reached out to Kim and Bailey again and explained that we unfortunately would have to cancel our venue booking since we had no reasonable hotel accommodations. Kim and Bailey informed us that we would NOT be getting our deposit back since a contract had been signed. We again reminded them that the contract was signed because they assured us they could meet our demands. We sent them another email and they again replied with the fact that a contract had been signed and that they will be keeping our deposit. Unbelievable.

My fiancĂŠ and I had the absolute WORST experience with the owners (Kim and Bailey). I strongly encourage you to avoid this location. Our issue wasnât with the venue itself- the venue is quite beautiful. Our issue came into play by the deceptive owners. We took a tour of this property in September and we really enjoyed the venue itself. We let Kim know multiple times that we have a wedding party of 220 people and many would be coming from out of state/country and that hotel accommodations were a vital part of the wedding process. Kim ASSURED us we would have absolutely no issues getting a hotel and we trusted her expertise. We ended up booking our wedding date for Friday, July 24th a couple days after the tour and reached out to the hotels to set up a hotel block for the night of the wedding.To our surprise, we were actually laughed at by the hotels for thinking there would be a block available for this weekend. We were informed that July 24th just so happened to be the 150th anniversary of the Wright County Fair and there was a Tractor Pull event that same night.. we were informed that hotels had been booked since last year. This event has taken place the same weekend every year for the last 150 years and the owners decided not to mention that to us when we spoke to the importance of hotel accommodations. (The closest hotel that could accommodate a block was in Chaska which is 40 miles away.)We reached out to Kim and Bailey and asked them about this and they informed us that it isnât their job to know whatâs going on in the community. We found this answer shocking as that is absolutely something their company should be aware of. They did say they wanted to try and help the situation and let us know theyâd get back to us. The Cottage Farmhouse was a wonderful place to get married. I knew when I met Kim and Bailey, this was the right place for my wedding! Kim and Bailey both, though very professional, felt like long time friends. Every time I had a question, they had a prompt response and were willing to go above and beyond. I got married in July, so we knew it had the potential to be hot outside. We were originally going to get married in the wedding pasture, but since it had rained the week before, it was too muddy and hard to be mowed for the wedding. We made a last minute decision to get married in the barn. The only recommendation I would have for people- is to get married outside(if possible) if it is a warm day outside. The barn gets very warm, even with the fans. There probably would have been more of a breeze outside! I would also recommend the same (an outdoor reception), as it can get warm in the reception barn in the heat. Despite the heat- we locked in and had a fabulous time. Since Kim knew there was potential that the wedding pasture would be too muddy, she set up the barn for us the night before the wedding to potentially accommodate. That was very helpful! The dĂŠcor package is a must- as you will not need to haul in all of your own vases, cake stands etc. They have a lot of good options to make tables beautiful for your guests! One of my favorite parts about this venue is the Bridal Cottage for getting ready. It is so bright and beautiful, and Brides- you will have a lovely time with your girls before the wedding in there. Take advantage of all the beautiful photo ops on the property! We live in the cities and this felt like the perfect little getaway for our guests. Everyone spoke highly of it, and you won't be disappointed if you choose it!

This venue is the perfect venue to make your wedding/event feel secluded from the city and has everything you need. When planning my daughterâs wedding, I was worried that it was too far away from a city in case we needed additional supplies. Itâs close enough to Hutchinson or Glencoe that you can make the quick drive if needed. In our case, additional ice was the only last minute need as it was a bit warmer than expected. They have everything else we could possibly need onsite. The venue itself is clean, fun & tastefully setup. We had a photo camper and Coffee cart come onsite, along with the caterer, and there was plenty of room and power was never a problem. The outdoor part is the bonus! It was hot & windy, but the reception area blocked the wind nicely & the air flowed through to avoid it from being too steamy. There were a few deer that decided to show up near the reception area across the road (beautiful) and we heard pheasants right after the ceremony. Even though itâs right off the highway, there was not many passerbyâs. One car honked during the ceremony, which added to the ceremony celebration. Kelsie and team is a must! They are more than helpful in the setup process, daily schedule and making us feel special the entire day. All our guests really enjoyed this secluded venue and still are talking about how beautiful it was. Be sure to add bug spray to the list and leave it around the fire pit. Itâs MN after all & it helps the guests stay longer!

All our guests really enjoyed this secluded venue and still are talking about how beautiful it was. Be sure to add bug spray to the list and leave it around the fire pit. Itâs MN after all & it helps the guests stay longer!

Bailey, Kim, and Kelsie are all attentive to every detail and are constantly moving to ensure that everything runs smoothly. My husband and I got married at The Cottage Farmhouse a couple weeks ago. We have only have positive feedback about the venue! The Cottage Farmhouse was the perfect wedding venue and like a dream! When we toured the venue, we immediately knew that this would be the special place for our wedding. Kim did a wonderful job giving us a tour and provided us with every piece of helpful information that we needed for our special day! This also made planning a breeze. We are grateful that the owners sent us a 6-month and 2-month checklist to ensure we weren't missing a single detail. On our wedding day, Bailey ensured we had everything we needed and checked in with our wedding coordinator upon her arrival.I remember when my bridesmaids entered the Bridal Cottage- almost every single one of them expressed much excitement and was in awe of the place. I also heard from the husband that the Groomsmen enjoyed the Granary where they were able to hang out and do their thing as guys which added a nice touch to our day! We loved that we each had a special place to get ready with the people closest to us.Though our wedding has passed, we still receive MANY compliments from our guests about the ample space, gorgeous venue, and the fun atmosphere at The Cottage Farmhouse has to offer! If you are looking for a picture-perfect venue where your guests will also have a good time, at the very least schedule a tour of The Cottage Farmhouse. Chances are that you will fall in love with the venue the second you drive onsite.

Our visions for decorating happened while we got ready by Kelsie and my team of decorators (friends/family) and they BLEW us away with the provided decor and our special touches. There were surprises around every corner, always bringing tears to my eyes due to the beauty. They have only been in the biz a few years and they already have it down. They go above and beyond and I HIGHLY recommend.

They have done an OUTSTANDING job making this venue perfect. They have thought of every little detail, making this place truly stand out from the rest. My photographer was so in love with the space, she said she didn't think she would ever be able to take photos anywhere else! Not to mention, ALL our guests absolutely loved it. We booked this venue immediately after we took a tour! We only had four months to plan this wedding and Kim was very understanding by allowing us the time we needed to get everything in order! It is absolutely gorgeous and provides everything you need for a wedding in one place. Our friends and family could not stop talking about how much fun they were having throughout the entire event, which meant a lot to Kayla and I. We decided to hire Kelsie to help with organizing everything the day of the wedding and I canât stress enough how much help she was. I highly recommend her, even if it is just for the wedding day itself because she will make your wedding go that much more smoothly. We had excellent bar service and the catering was affordable and delicious! Every one of our vendors was early to set up. They have parking onsite which was convenient for us and most of our guests. I donât think that I have anything bad to say about the this venue or the people that work there. It was a bit of a drive for us being it was an hour away from the suburbs, but that was the least of our worries. I can only hope that one of my friends gets married there someday so that I can look forward to enjoying it again! Thank you for an unforgettable experience from my wife and I!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding day at the Cottage Farmhouse. Not only is this venue aesthetically stunning, but the family that owns it, and Kelsie the on-site wedding planner, are amazing as well. They were extremely accommodating, and genuinely excited for our big day. Every time I talked to them, I felt as though I was talking to a friend, verses a vendor. The venue is versatile, and perfect for a dreamy outdoor Minnesota wedding. We got married in July, and the weather was perfect for dinner and dancing. The local vendors that they recommended, were perfect as they have done multiple weddings at this site in the past, and do a truly amazing job. I highly recommend hiring Kelsie (the on-site wedding planner)! She was fantastic, and answered every question Sam and I had. She thought of every detail, and did a great job the day-of, and leading up to our bid day! I would say that I wish I hired her for the entire night, as clean up was a bit confusing, but other than that â everything was perfect.We feel so blessed to have gotten married at such a beautiful venue, it truly made our wedding day special. Our guests continue to reach out to us about itâs beauty, and how much fun they had at the reception. Choosing this venue was easily one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning. The outdoor ceremony site, pergola cocktail hour, dinner, barn, and dance reception/dessert barn were all STUNNING. The amazing mother/daughter team that run this venue are a delight to work with! Warm, flexible, and clear communicators. The whole day went beautifully in large part due to this amazing venue and their set up. We decorated minimally because every area of this place was already my pinterest dreams come true. Every guest was blown away by the beauty of this venue and commented on how it fit my groom's and I'd love for the outdoors. Overall, I could not be more satisfied with my experience at The Cottage Farmhouse. I recommend to friends all of the time!

The outdoor ceremony site, pergola cocktail hour, dinner, barn, and dance reception/dessert barn were all STUNNING. The amazing mother/daughter team that run this venue are a delight to work with! Warm, flexible, and clear communicators. The whole day went beautifully in large part due to this amazing venue and their set up. We decorated minimally because every area of this place was already my pinterest dreams come true. Every guest was blown away by the beauty of this venue and commented on how it fit my groom's and I'd love for the outdoors. Overall, I could not be more satisfied with my experience at The Cottage Farmhouse. I recommend to friends all of the time!

I attended a wedding on a Saturday evening in July of 2018 at the Cottage Farmhouse. It was a very hot, humid day. 87 degrees , humidity about 72%. We had planned for the heat and dressed appropriately. The wedding sight, though a bit of a hike was not too bad if you found a spot to sit in the shade. At 4:30 pm about half the seating area was in the shade. After the wedding we had drinks on the patio. There were several places on the patio to stand or sit in the shade. The meal was served in the Reception Barn. I think there was just over 200 hundred people sitting to eat in the Reception Barn. We were sat at very long rows of tables. The chairs were so close together, side by side, that you could hardly move your arms to eat. There was so little room between the tables it was almost impossible to move your chair to get out. It was extremely hot and stuffy in the barn as we sat so close to the person next to us we could hardly move. There were doors open on one side of the barn. There was a small window with a large fan blowing air towards the outside at one end of the barn. No other windows or doors were open, and no fans were in the barn to move the air. The Reception Barn has a very high ceiling that is tin. The combination of a high ceiling that is tin made the acoustics in the barn really loud. It was impossible to talk to anyone except the people sitting right next to you. And to talk to them I had to almost yell for them to hear me. This Little Piggy catered the meal which was very good. The meat, potatoes and salad were all kept at appropriate temperatures to assure their freshness. The 2 bartenders could not keep up with then number of people in attendance. There was always a very long line to get a non alcoholic or alcoholic drink. When the sun started to go down the mosquitoes came out. They were really bad. I'm not sure who provided the bug spray, but we had to spray ourselves down several times to keep the mosquitoes at bay. I would recommend getting something to give more shade at the ceremony site. I would suggest getting at least 4 very large industrial oscillating fans for the Reception Barn. To help fix the acoustics in the Reception Barn you could put up fabric ceiling draping. The entire area needs to be treated for mosquitoes.

I would strongly recommend using their wedding planner, Kelsey. She had lots of suggestions, was patient, helpful, and her presence kept everybody calm. I recommend a visit for planning. Kim and Bailey had the grounds looking meticulous, even though there was snow on the ground just two weeks before. The security guard was also patient and kind. Catering from This Little Piggy and bar tending from With a Twist were top notch. Even though the caterers and bartenders had to move things inside during a brief storm during the wedding service, there was no interruption and no complaints. An awesome experience.

I just got married at this venue. The Cottage Farmhouse is rustic charm. Itâs beautiful, and it has amazing spaces! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We asked so many questions along the way because we were doing a lot of DIY decor, and Kim Serbus helped us every step of the way. I loved getting ready In the beautiful house, then having my ceremony in the beautiful barn, and being able to transition right over to the reception barn! We had 240 people, and they filled the space without it feeling crowded. The pergola is one of the main selling points for me, it is unique and provides a great cocktail hour space for mingling. The space accommodated well for the iffy May weather, because we could have our ceremony in the meadow or in the barn, and they set up both ahead of time so you donât have to worry! This venue set the stage for the rustic elegance I dreamed of for my wedding, and Iâm so thankful for that. Having the dance in the main barn was a hit! Honestly everything about this venue is awesome, and I completely and totally recommend it.

Our daughter just got married at The Cottage Farmhouse, and it was a wonderful experience. We came to appreciate why there are exclusive vendors used at the site when we realized how comfortable both the caterers and the bartenders were with the setting and the owners, and therefore how much more confident and helpful they could be to us. We were a do-it-yourself wedding despite all of the extra planning services offered by The Cottage Farmhouse team, and yet Kim Serbus was still willing to answer all of our questions promptly along the way. We used This Little Piggy for our dinner provider; the food was so delicious, and they were over-the-top at making us feel that our wedding was extremely important to them, both in the planning stage and on the wedding day. With A Twist bartender service basically educated us on quantity and type of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to buy, all of which were cheerfully served out of the bar! We hired them to bring the ice, which greatly simplified the day for us. Kim and her daughters were there when we arrived in the morning to help us decide what to do about the iffy weather. The Cottage Farmhouse is somewhat unique in its having two covered spaces, so although our bride and groom had hoped to be married in the meadow, we were able to have the barn all set up in case of cold or rain, and so it was no problem to move indoors. It was lovely, in fact! We never had to spend any of the months before the wedding worrying if weather would spoil the day. The reception barn was full to the brim with tables and guests and celebration (and heaters! - The Farmhouse provides heaters, so our groom's family from Georgia didn't suffer from the cool temperature), and even one of the catering staff commented on how everyone seemed to be enjoying the whole affair. We went back to the main barn afterwards for the dance, and it was a perfect space for that, too. All of our enjoyment of the day doesn't even take into account the outdoor spaces that are part of the property! In our dreams we stood under the pergola and played lawn games and sat around the campfire. :-) In actuality we were busy enjoying all the indoor spaces to the full. Thank you, Kim and Bailey, A'Britin, With A Twist, and all of our own special vendors who came and made the day so memorable! Even the security guard was great! We are a thankful family who won't hesitate to recommend to you The Cottage Farmhouse or anyone associated with it!

My husband Sam and I had our wedding at The Cottage Farmhouse last week and it was an absolute dream. There are many wonderful things about The Farmhouse, but I think one of the best things about it is the multitude of spaces to choose from, making it perfect for a Fall wedding. We were lucky enough to have a sunny day, but we could have moved everything inside if necessary. All the beautiful spaces, from the wedding pasture, silo alley, and the ceremony barn to the granary, bridal cottage and pergola make the place incredibly unique.Bailey, Kim and Kelsie were wonderful. They were extremely helpful when we had some technical difficulties with our sound equipment and they made sure everything went smoothly.The caterer and bar tending service you're required to use were amazing. Everyone loved the food and With a Twist allows you to pick and choose your own alcohol, which makes it very affordable. The Cottage Farmhouse is one of the reasons our wedding day was the best day ever! We highly recommend it to everyone!

We initially toured The Cottage Farmhouse with Kim and she was just so thoughtful and had so many ideas on how we could set up the rooms and gave us so many options on where we could have our ceremony. I got married at The Cottage Farmhouse on June 10. Everyone raved about how beautitul the venue. My photographers both said it was the best venue they ever shot at (and they have shot MANY weddings.) Kim and Bailey are great to work with and make you feel so special on your big day. You will need to be ready to have a setup crew and tear down crew as they do not provide staff for this, but that is easy enough to coordinate. I loved that I really had complete control of the venue space to make it my own. It was an ideal spot for having an outdoor or indoor wedding. I would highly recomend this venue if you are looking for a barn and/or farm wedding. It is beyond dreamy and a perfect backdrop for your wedding!

I got married at The Cottage Farmhouse on June 10. Everyone raved about how beautitul the venue. My photographers both said it was the best venue they ever shot at (and they have shot MANY weddings.) Kim and Bailey are great to work with and make you feel so special on your big day. You will need to be ready to have a setup crew and tear down crew as they do not provide staff for this, but that is easy enough to coordinate. I loved that I really had complete control of the venue space to make it my own. It was an ideal spot for having an outdoor or indoor wedding. The Cottage Farmhouse is a dream come true! Our wedding was wonderful and we couldn't be happier of the turn out. The decor was beautiful and the location is gorgeous. The owners are so very sweet and my day wouldn't have been possible if I didn't have their wedding coordinator- Kelsie. The food was great, we had so many compliments from guests on how good the food was and how much they loved our venue! I would definitely recommend to have your wedding at this venue!!

While planning Bailey's wedding, the two were completely smitten with the charm of a barn wedding. They started looking for a big white dairy barn and enough land to spread out and create a beautiful landscape for a wedding venue. The original property has been lovingly repurposed and overlooks 15 acres of lush countryside.
