The Cottage Wedding Venue takes backyard glam to new heights. Located in the heart of historic downtown Gilbert, the backyard features a misted patio, an exquisite gazebo, elegant fountain and floral arches to create the perfect backdrop for amazing photos. Our indoor ballroom is full of elegance and charm.. From lavish weddings under the stars, to corporate events in our fully equipped audio/visual meeting room, party and gathering planning has never been so easy! Get inspired by all your party needs from baby showers, anniversary celebrations, and cozy ceremony's for your loved ones. Our culinary team can create 5 course plated dinners to good old fashion BBQ's.

I found this venue by a stroke of luck. I had already booked another venue. I saw an ad of the Cottage Venue on Facebook. I decided to give it a shot and check it out. The venue was nice and it seemed perfect for our event. It has multiple packages and I picked the bells and whistles which had everything. I didn't need to deal with vendors. They provided the DJ (DJ Vital) who was phenomenal and the photography team (Anthony) was top notch. Super fun event and all the guests praised it. Decor was light but plenty. Service was top notch.Now the main thing: Food. Absolutely incredible. I have never seen so many guests praise food like this at any event I've been to. If food is something you are worrying about, this is the venue to get proper incredible food. There was a ton of leftover and towards the end of the event, it was already neatly packed for takeout. All in all, highly recommend this place. Thanks.Destiny and Dina were the managers and simply great.

My new hubby and I cannot praise this venue enough. It is seriously, 100% the best. Dina and her staff are incredible. They went above and beyond for us. Dina responds promptly (sometimes even within minutes of an email), and she's so incredibly sweet! She accomodated all of our needs and then some. The venue itself is gorgeous and intimate. The food is made on site and is absolutely delicious! It's also affordable. This venue is worth every penny. We went with their most inclusive package and it made wedding planning basically strees free. This is a venue you can trust with your special day.

The Cottage really took good care of me and my husband, especially after only finding the venue ONE month before the wedding (due to being canceled by our original venue) and The Cottage really helped us out with everything. They took a huge stress off of our shoulders and were with us every step of the way. Kailey and Dina are amazing, lovely people who just want you to enjoy your day to the max. They were very accommodating to our needs and previous desires. They were also very responsive which I loved because I had hundreds of questions. They have precautions in place to be able to have a safe covid free wedding. I definitely recommend people to get married here for an intimate wedding.

My husband and I had an amazing wedding experience at The Cottage! The staff made wedding planning stress-free and near effortless. Our wedding DJ- Rachel was prompt at meeting with us and developing our wedding timeline. Our photographer- Santiago took AMAZING photos of our beautiful day. Our wedding décor and experience turned out to be better than expected! We truly feel that our wedding was the best day of our lives! We are so grateful for The Cottage Wedding Venue!

We loved everything about our wedding at The Cottage. The venue allows you to have a wedding on a budget without sacrificing quality. Dina's food was amazing and we had so many compliments from our guests (there was nothing left at the end). The venue overall was beautiful at night with all of the decorations and lights. We used their recommended Photographer, Florist, Officiant and Pastry Chef. They all did a wonderful job. The ability to bring your own alcohol was a plus and our bartender was perfect. Kailey (the wedding planner) did a wonderful job on the day of our wedding to make sure everything ran accordingly. The only tip to future wedding couples is to have people designated at the end of the night to pack up all of your stuff. That was one thing we weren't as prepared for. Otherwise, we couldn't be more happy with our wedding.

What a gorgeous venue! We planned a petite wedding here in 6 days and everything turned out beautiful! The food was delicious and the staff were so amazing. Dina is fantastic to work with and made sure the day was perfect. All of the decor is provided and it matches the venue perfectly. This is a such a great, all inclusive venue!

Meet the The Cottage Wedding Venue Team
Dina Zappone (Owner) In December 2012, Zappone’s Italian Bistro was born in the heart of Gilbert. Quickly we began to incorporate our delicious Italian Comfort Food and feed the masses. We began to cater large weddings and events. We expanded our business in 2014 to include Zappone’s Catering. It was always my dream to take our homemade Traditional and Italian Cooking and open our own Wedding Venue. In Spring of 2018 that dream comes to life at The Cottage Wedding Venue 6 blocks from Historic Gilbert.
