It was like pulling teeth to get pricing information from this venue. I lost all interest. For any brides interested, as of now it’s $2,300 for a Friday and $2,800 for a Saturday. ‘Tables, chairs, linens, workers and cleanup are included.’ Reviewed on 21-01-2024

Lauren Eddy(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-11-2018 Erin made the entire wedding reception planning process a breeze. She is extremely personable and there whenever I needed. She gave honest opinions and made sure everything was ready day of. The inside of this venue is so gorgeous. From the dark brick and wood and beautiful lights, very little decorating is necessary because of the simple beauty of the place. Whether you decide to go simple or extravagant, this place can do it all. I highly recommend. Reviewed on 11-11-2018

Heidi Bellard(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-12-2016 We used the Crossing at Mervine Kahn for my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and wedding reception. Everything was just perfect! Erin and Hannah made sure it was all exactly how I wanted and the whole staff went above and beyond what we could ever have imagined. They also have a beautiful and big upstairs bridal suite that we were about to rent and spend the whole day of the wedding at and it was so nice to be able to walk downstairs and peak at all the reception decor as it was going up. The building is beautiful, the food is amazingly delicious, and the staff is excellent!!! Reviewed on 25-01-2017
Samantha Sherwood(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-01-2016 We got married here in January 2016 and honestly couldn't have asked for anything better! Erin was SO helpful and truly made my mom feel at ease throughout the planning stages. She was always available to answer any questions we had and did everything she could to make sure we had what we needed (she even offered to run to the store and grab me a toothbrush!) we were all so thankful for her help! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and everyone who came made comments about how much they loved it. If you're looking for a somewhat dimly lit, romantic venue with hidden local charm, The Crossing is spot on! I wish we could go back and do it all over again, it was so perfect! Jamie Trahan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-03-2013 I can't say enough about how thankful we were and still are for finding such a gem in both The Crossing and Madelyn! After thinking I would never find a place around Lafayette with the character and elegance that compared to the places I dreamed of in New Orleans, it was so refreshing and relieving to find The Crossing! We moved our wedding from New Orleans to our hometown for convenience and simplicity, and we have no regrets! Madelyn exudes such a positive energy, warmth, and love - honestly, probably more than all of the venue directors that we met in Nola combined. She truly loves her job, her venue, and because of that, everything just seems to fall into place. I recommend The Crossing to anyone looking for a true southern welcoming process - not to mention a beautiful, rustic, unique surrounding! Reviewed on 04-12-2013
