We had our ceremony offsite, but used The Crossings for getting ready, cocktail hour, and reception. Crossings Coordinator (Catering Sales Manager) Lauren was more helpful than the wedding planner we paid extra for! If you are someone who wants to manage every detail, you've got plenty of options here! And if you're someone like me who did not want to make aallll of the decisions (like how you want the napkins folded!), Lauren was so helpful!!! She emphasized the things we said were important to us and took care of the other details that we were less concerned about. We added on an open bar & late night snacks- our guests were obsessed! I loved that this venue was transparent about costs right from the beginning. The packages are very customizable so you can get exactly what you're looking for. Again, I can't say enough nice things about Lauren who helped make this day exactly what we wanted and for the awesome staff who took care of us like we were old friends!

Absolutely amazing!! Lauren Lee, our coordinator, was very organized but also relaxed and provided a calming yet detailed presence. The venue is stunning and with Lauren's decorating expertise, it really allowed my husband and I to just enjoy the wedding planning process and the wedding day! We could not be happier with our wedding and we highly recommend the Crossings to all couples looking for a gorgeous, sophisticated, and amazing wedding!

I don't think I can say enough about how incredible the Crossings was as a wedding venue. The inside is beautiful. The backdrop for the ceremony overlooks the ocean. The food was delicious, we chose salmon and steak. The get ready rooms on-site were spacious and nice. The entire staff was friendly and hard working from the day we booked and through the event. Lauren was my wedding planner and she crushed it. She was sweet, a good communicator, and made the day of flow so smoothly, I had nothing to worry about. Staff set-up and took down everything for us day of so we could enjoy the entire event. I suggest choosing the upgrades of market lighting and chivari chairs, as it really transformed the room. They made my wedding incredible and I highly recommend for anyone in their venue hunt.

I married my best friend on 11.18.23 and the day was perfect because of this venue, our incredible coordinator MEGAN, and the unreal staff that came together for two strangers. We had been dreaming of this day for a long time but never really knew where to begin. We met with Sandy on 11/28/22 and we told her all of our ideas. She tallied up a spread sheet with costs and showed us every option. By the next day we were calling to sign contracts and book our date. Sandy CC'd us into an email with Megan and she immediately greeted us and sent us a wedding planning packet to make it even easier on us. From that point on every email & question was answered. We didn't have to worry about linens, chairs, tables, glassware, utensils, alcohol, or food. All was taken care of by the venue. They even include a budget within your deposit for the bakery they partner with, \"VG Bakery.\" We were able to get a two tiered cake and an entire dessert bar! Our guests raved about the desserts and Megan even boxed us up a platter to take home. Megan walked us through a food tasting and later a final walk through the week before the wedding. Each time I was greeted with arms wide open and the most excited smile. Any worries or stresses were gone by the time I left the venue (and I was able to plan with very little stresses because they make it so easy)! The day of our rehearsal, Megan was able to coordinate THIRTY FIVE people. She seamlessly showed everyone their role. I unloaded all of my DIY projects into one of their rooms and Megan walked through every single piece of it with me to make sure she knew exactly where we wanted it. From that point on, I had zero responsibilities or worries. I just got to show up to the best day of my life knowing Megan was taking care of everything. The day of the wedding she was somehow every where and any where before you even knew you needed her. It was pouring rain and the staff had all of our chairs covered. By the time the rain stopped, they made it look like it never happened. The bridal suite and grooms suite are beautiful and so spacious! I love that the bridal suite has a closed off outdoor area for more space. We fit 1 bride, 11 bridesmaids, 4 moms, 3 flower girls, and 4 hair and makeup artists with space to spare. The venue provided food for all of us. They have speakers, tv's, and they even have a steamer! Our ceremony was perfect, thanks to The Crossings. Once it was done, the bridal party was greeted with champagne. My husband and I got to drive our own golf cart following Sandy to other parts along the venue to take our couple pictures. The reception was incredible. THE FOOD! A week later and we still haven't stopped hearing people sharing about how incredible the food was. We chose the flat iron steak and seabass options. We also highly suggest the \"late night bites,\" we surprised our guests with pretzel bites and everyone loved it! The next day the two of us went back to our venue for our own lunch. The bartenders came out to see us and the chefs came to shake our hands. The heart that goes into this venue is unmatched. We felt like our day was just as important to each of them. The hardwork and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and we will always be grateful! A huge thank you to every person who helped us with our day! To Megan! We miss you already. My wife Jenn and I got married at The Crossings on Oct 28th ‘23. It was an amazing day from start to end. Our coordinator, Lauren Lee, was so helpful, organized and had so many great ideas and willing to listen to some of our funny ideas we had. We planned our wedding in 5 months and the process with the crossings was so smooth especially with the help from Lauren. The facility was beautiful, the food was great and the entire staff was so helpful in making our day enjoyable. We would definitely recommend The Crossings and Lauren, we had a day we’ll never forget!

My wife Britney and I got married here on October 20th, 2023, and it was an absolutely amazing experience at such an affordable price! Our coordinator Lauren Lee, was the most amazing coordinator we could have asked for, she did not only do everything to make our day go so smoothly, but on a personal level she really connected with us and made us really feel so comfortable for the whole process from start to finish, it really feels like we made a FRIEND on top of having a coordinator we loved! Our doors are always open to her! We love you Lauren! Please come see us when you are in Michigan! The staff, set up, clean up, bartenders, and everyone else involved were amazing, the drinks during he reception were perfectly balanced, (not too strong not too weak) so you didn't have to keep running back up to the bar and it really felt like we were getting what we paid for. Our ceremony site was so breathtaking and magical thanks to the set up crew and venue. Again I cannot express how affordable this was for element of a wedding it was! We would 100% recommend this venue to anyone in the Southern California area if you want a one stop do all location! We got married at the crossings on 9.22.23 and had the most incredible experience. The venue was beautiful, food was amazing, and the bridal & groom suites were perfect spots to get ready. We can’t say enough about our coordinator, Megan, who went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of from day one. She was clear with communication and was always timely in answering our questions leading up to the big day. The day of the wedding was stress free because of Megan and her team- they set up our decor beautifully, broke everything down, and handled any hiccups in between so that our day was seamless. Multiple guests came up to us after the wedding to mention our amazing coordinator. We are so grateful for the venue and all of their amazing staff for making our wedding day so special!

We had our wedding at The Crossings in October 2023. We highly recommend this venue! We had the best day, and each of the staff members were very kind, accommodating, and helpful. The ceremony area, reception and welcome rooms, and bride and groom suites are all beautiful. Our guests also said the food was great. We had an amazing experience with Lauren as our coordinator. She was very communicative throughout our wedding planning process and she made us feel so special! Wish we could do it all over again. :)

We had the best experience working with the team at The Crossings. We had a great first visit with Sandy and knew right away that The Crossings was where we wanted to get married. The packages offered are a great value and the team is more than willing to work with you within your budget to get creative with the offerings. Lauren was our coordinator and she helped answer every question of mine each step along the way and on the day-of she executed our vision flawlessly along with Julia. We did not work with a wedding planner so I truly mean it when I say that our day would not have been what it was without those two.Thank you to The Crossings team for such a wonderful experience. A little bit of rain did not stop us from having the most incredible day and we are forever grateful for all that your team has done for us. We can't wait to come back and visit!

The Crossings Review I am so so so happy we chose The Crossings for our wedding!! From day 1 to visiting the venue, to coming by to check out the venue, Lauren and the other staff have all been so kind and accommodating to us. Lauren is so responsive and communicative. She truly made our entire wedding experience flawless and perfect. Our perfect day was just that, PERFECT!! Not a single thing went wrong and I knew Lauren had it all under control. I did not stress a single bit on wedding day because she truly made everything so seamless!!! I cannot express how grateful we are for Lauren. The Crossings is absolutely unique and gorgeous and had everything we wanted in a wedding venue. For perspective, we toured 17 wedding venues because we are so picky and the crossings had it all!!! Amazing staff, new and gorgeous bridal and groom suites, genuine staff, incredible locations and scenery. Everyone had such a great time!!! The drinks at the open bar were incredible and the food was delicious which is very rare for wedding food. For rehearsal, our entire groomsmen party went golfing the morning of( 12 people) and had a blast!! Rehearsal practice was quick and fun!!I had zero hiccups or negative things to say about the entire experience. I HIGHLY recommend booking your perfect day here!!! If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a single thing other than I never wanted the night to end!!!! Thank you to the entire Crossings staff!!! Ps. The weather was PERFECT and we had a gorgeous sunset for our special day!! Truly a dream come true

My husband and I had our wedding here 9/29/23 and it was amazing, we truly couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. Our coordinator was Megan and she was fantastic. From the moment we took our first tour, to our wedding day, she was there for anything we needed. She answered any questions we had, took time to get to know us, and made sure our day ran smoothly. She is so personable, kind and inviting. After meeting her, we knew we were in good hands. Julie was assisting her the day of the wedding and she was also very helpful and kind. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly. The Crossings staff helped set everything up and it looked beautiful, we got to see our vision for our wedding come to life. The food was fantastic and all of our guests commented on that throughout the days following. Especially the short rib and mashed potato puree! The venue itself, views, and atmosphere were everything we wanted for our modern, elegant, and fun wedding. All of the staff was professional, helpful, and communicative.

This allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the celebration, knowing that every aspect was being handled with the utmost care and professionalism.One of the standout features was the reception room, which was nothing short of enchanting. The market lights draped across the ceiling created a magical ambiance, elevating the entire experience. The space was not only elegantly appointed but also incredibly spacious, allowing for a seamless flow of festivities.The inclusion of bridal and groom suites was a stroke of brilliance. These beautifully designed spaces not only provided a peaceful retreat for us to prepare, but they also ensured our entire wedding party arrived and stayed on schedule. It created a relaxed atmosphere, and we truly appreciated having this haven to gather our thoughts before the ceremony.In addition to the impeccable interior, the venue's location provided a gorgeous ocean view that took our breath away. The natural beauty of the surroundings added an extra layer of magic to our day, creating a backdrop that was nothing short of breathtaking.However, I do have one minor concern to mention. I had prepared bathroom baskets for our guests, filled with essentials like deodorant and hair spray. Unfortunately, it seems that some patrons from the golf course mistook them as communal supplies. As a result, our guests were unable to make use of these thoughtful provisions. While this was a small inconvenience, it did slightly affect an otherwise perfect experience.Despite this, our overall experience was nothing short of magical. The venue, with its stunning ocean view, combined with Lauren Lee's expertise and seamless coordination, was pivotal in bringing our vision to life. We are forever grateful for the memories we created at your venue.

It’s hard to leave a review that does justice to our coordinator Lauren and this incredible wedding venue. The minute I stepped foot on The Crossings, I felt at ease and optimistic that this would be the place I would get married. First of all, there are so many different elements to this venue, from the stunning window-lined reception area to the romantic ceremony lawn it overlooks. It was literally EXACTLY what we were looking for. Not to mention, when you look up at it, it looks like a fairytale castle. The staff is so friendly and genuinely excited for you, which goes a long ways, as wedding planning can be very overwhelming at times. We didn’t know yet when we met her, but Lauren would be exactly what we needed during this process. I am in awe of her! From the jump, she treated us like top priority clients, even before we signed anything. Our tour was fun and engaging, and she knew when to guide us and when to give us space to take in the beauty of the venue. That also included our decision to eat lunch at the venue on the day we toured, which really sealed the deal, because the food at The Crossings is outstanding! After our tour, Lauren was a tremendous help with crafting a plan that fit our budget, and she never rushed us with making our decision. The best part is, her professionalism and help only continued to exceed our expectations after we signed the dotted line. Not a question went unanswered, and we had a lot of them. And, instead of saying no to unique requests, she always checked to make sure our ideas weren’t within reach. I genuinely looked forward to her emails, because they made everything feel that much more real and they usually came with good news and detailed guidance through this process. For us, since we didn’t hire a wedding planner, Lauren is what really made this day possible for us. We had a lot of DIY and culturally unique aspects to our wedding, and not only did she help us execute them, but she was genuinely excited about them. She knew how to read between the lines and thought of things that we didn’t even think of.And, even when things got a little hectic on the day of with being behind schedule, Lauren and her team always had a plan and never made me feel stressed as the bride. It was also so great having a bridesmaid and groomsmen suite on location, where we could spend the day getting ready, drinking champagne, and taking photos. I would recommend Lauren and The Crossings to anybody looking to have a smooth planning process and wedding in a beautiful location that your friends and family will LOVE. My husband and I can’t wait to come back and visit, as every memory made at The Crossings will forever be special in our hearts. Thank you guys for everything!

We had our wedding at The Crossings on Saturday August 5, 2023 and our wedding exceeded our expectations! The Crossings at Carlsbad is such an amazing venue and included everything we wanted for our special day. Megan Weber, our day of coordinator, made everything less stressful and was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions throughout the whole process and even throughout the wedding day. The food was incredible and our wedding day timeline went smoothly thanks to the Crossings team, especially Megan and Julia who helped on the wedding day. The venue offered a package that included linens, tables, a dessert bar from VG Donuts, drinks, patio games, ceremony arch, a champagne toasts and more which made the planning that much easier. We had around 175 guests and we didn’t need to worry about a thing on our wedding day. This gave us such a fun and memorable day :) We highly recommend booking this venue for your wedding or any event.

Our wedding was July 22, 2023 at The Crossings and it was truly the PERFECT wedding. Our guests all told us how great of a venue The Crossings was after the event. Throughout the process, Lauren Lee (the coordinator), made everything so easy for us! She was extremely responsive to all of our questions as we planned and was so helpful with all the vendor coordination. She also went out of her way to ensure that everything went as smooth as possible the day of the wedding. The rest of the staff the day of also was incredible! We also heard great things from our guests about the food and drink! I would absolutely recommend the Crossings for your wedding. We truly had such a nice wedding at a relatively reasonable cost compared to other venues we looked at! And one other the note -- the ocean views are killer!!

We had our wedding at the Crossings on June 2, 2023 and cannot stop talking about how perfect it was!!! Megan was the best coordinator we could have asked for. From the beginning she was very organized and on top of the entire planning process! She made is so easy for us to plan and execute the perfect wedding. The Crossings is already a gorgeous venue and we selected vendors that frequent the venue often to reduce stress and detail planning and that was super helpful! For everything else, Megan had an answer for it all and we appreciated her so much. She responded so quickly to our emails and questions every time and helped us create a more custom seating arrangement that was perfect for our reception! We did not have to worry about a thing the day of our wedding and it went SEAMLESS! The food was incredible and the wait staff served it so quickly and efficiently, we were very impressed! Do not hesitate to check out The Crossings for your upcoming wedding!!! 10/10 recommend!!!!!!! :)

Our wedding at The Crossings was PERFECT. Our planning process started when we found The Crossings online and thought it was too good to be true. After our venue tour, we knew it was the one. The ceremony site is stunning and the view of the ocean is so romantic. All of our guests told us what a beautiful venue we chose and then raved about all the food. We could not have asked for a better wedding day and truly entire planning process. Our coordinator, Lauren, was so responsive and so helpful throughout our very long engagement and I could tell she really cared about our happiness. She made our dreams come true! The Crossings is an amazing venue for a wedding! Their professionalism and attention to detail is unmatched. Our coordinator was Megan and Lauren and they were great and accommodating. The food was fantastic and the servers were excellent. Many people were impressed when the servers cooked their meat to their request! When we packed up the staff was helpful and everything came back so clean (cake utensils and champagne flutes. I would highly recommend The Crossings for your wedding!!!

10/10 would recommend the crossings for your wedding ceremony and reception venue! It’s hard to summarize all that we loved about the Crossings in one review, but to highlight our 3 favorite things about it:The space: the venue space is very modern and updates with beautiful wood beams running across the ceilings and open windows. It’s hard to find a reception space that doesn’t have carpet so absolutely loved that the entire space had wood floors! It made for awesome pictures from every corner. They also just added brand new bridal and groom suites on site for the wedding party to get ready in!!The food: since the Crossings is also a restaurant day in and day out, the food is actually GOOD. Our guests all could not stop raving about how tasty the food was at dinner. We also had breakfast ordered for the wedding party and that was just as delicious!! Our wedding coordinator: we can’t say enough great things about our wedding venue extraordinaire, Lauren!! From start to finish she made this experience so special for us, bending over backwards where possible to help bring our vision to life and just being a joy to work with throughout! She was incredibly on top of it, lots of fun, and always kind. Highly recommend!!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Megan and the Crossings for our wedding! We are from out of town and it couldn’t have been easier to plan for our wedding. Any question I had, Megan answered right away, no matter how big or how small. Crossings wedding packages are completely affordable and also flexible to meet whatever vision the couple has. And what a beautiful venue! We knew we wanted outside aspects but still an option for an indoor reception and Crossings was PERFECT. The view is amazing and nothing beats California weather and sunset photos. My guests could not stop raving about the food and the service. They had such a wonderful time and as a couple we felt like the entire day was in good hands.I was a bride that wanted to be involved in my planning and all of that paid off bc on the day-of, Megan and her team took everything out of my hands and I was able to enjoy it all and soak it all in.I highly recommend Crossings and working with Megan as your coordinator if you want to have a beautiful wedding and a stress-free day with your partner!

We selected The Crossings because of the ocean view and the venue being all packaged together without bringing in dozens of vendors. They provide beautiful chairs, arches, meals (all our guests complimented the food) and partner with VG Donuts/Cakes to bring the most delicious desserts. Lauren Lee was super helpful to work with leading up to our big day and facilitated perfectly as our day-of wedding coordinator.

Simply spectacular. From the first email, to the venue tour, to every single email and phone call, to the big day, and afterward, Lauren has shown us superlative service and consistent care. Our big day could not have come together without the professional help of her and her team. She made everything effortless while showing the utmost patience in answering our many questions. Her expertise and knowledge were shown in every detail and response. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, rather than just another wedding in her books. She followed up with us throughout our planning process and helped calm us down during the most hectic and stressful times. The day-of could not have gone more seamlessly! My Husband and I had our Wedding Celebration at The Crossings on 12/30/22. Megan and her team were absolutely amazing and professional! Megan made the whole planning process so easy and stress free. She thought of every detail and our wedding was stunning, we could not have asked for anything better! We received many compliments on how well the day was planned, how beautiful the venue and view were, how great the service was, and how delicious the food was. Our biggest goal for the day was for everyone to have fun, thanks to Megan and her team, the day was an absolute blast and stress free. It was almost too easy! My husband and I would plan our wedding again at The Crossings in a heartbeat!

My husband and I recently got married at The Crossings and it was everything we hoped for and more! Throughout the entire process from booking the venue, to picking our meals and everything leading up to the big day, the staff at The Crossings were professional and so friendly. The venue has a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor space and our guests could not stop complimenting everything about our wedding! The bridal suite is beautiful and was perfect for getting ready and had so much room for all the vendors (hair, makeup, photographer, and videographer) to move around comfortably. Although the venue speaks for itself with the beautiful ocean view, the best part about the whole process was the wedding coordinator at The Crossings, Lauren. Lauren from day 1 was so helpful and really made the entire experience so memorable and enjoyable. She took the stress out of so may little things and really made us fall more in love with the venue. My husband and I cannot thank Lauren and the entire staff at The Crossings enough for helping make our big day so full of fun and love. Thank you!!!

Wedding of our dreams! My husband & I just tied the knot 10.07.22 at The Crossings and we couldn't have imagined a more beautiful experience. We had 150 guests and the day was executed so perfectly. Lauren was our coordinator (our wedding fairy godmother) and guided us through the process so effortlessly. She has an eye for detail and coordinated our vendors the day of to construct the most picture perfect ceremony and reception.Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food/appetizers/dessert bar was and how full they were by the end of the night. The Crossings has a lot of options for add ons to make your experience unique as can be.Lastly, the ocean views at the ceremony were breathtaking. We scheduled our 'I Do's' at 5:00pm and the fall skyline across the ocean is something we will never forget. The Crossings was the first wedding venue we looked at. We compared every place afterwards to it, and none came close. The Crossings has incredible views and gorgeous architecture. I fell in love with the ocean views and outdoor space and my husband loved the buildings, especially the exposed wooden beams in the reception space. It's a magical place to get married. There's a lovely bridal suite onsite now. Only downside is that it opens to the parking lot, so make sure one of your girls makes sure there isn't a hoard of guests outside when you're trying to exit!Lauren was our wedding coordinator. To say she is amazing, seems like I'm selling her short. She was above and beyond the best we could ask for. She is kind, organized, thoughtful, goes above and beyond, and just downright the best. She answered every email and call (and I sent a lot - whoops!) and was genuinely happy to help. She really made all of our wants and wishes come true and was so willing to work with us to help us stay on budget. We couldn't ask for a better coordinator. Everyone commented that our wedding was the most well run, organized wedding they've been to, with AMAZING food, and the sweetest staff. And honestly, we have to agree. We never felt rushed or like we were obviously falling behind. My husband and I could have asked for a better wedding venue and staff. We had the most perfect wedding at the Crossings. We can't wait to come back and visit and reminisce. I would highly recommend the Crossings.

The venue is absolutely fantastic! The day of our wedding went very smoothly and if anything did go wrong we didn't hear about it or notice. The Crossings was an absolutely perfect venue! As soon as we toured it we fell in love. The setting is stunning with gorgeous views and well maintained grounds. The location is great, especially if you have a lot of out-of-town guests because there are great hotel options close by. From the beginning, The Crossings made the entire wedding planning process so seamless. Their package options are great! The food was incredible - we got so many compliments from our guests. We were also able to create signature drinks which was a fun addition to the open bar! They recently built a bridal suite which was cute and perfect for pictures! Above all, working with Lauren Lee was the best part. She was so fun to work with and helped us bring all of our ideas to life! She was very responsive and always happy to answer our questions whenever they came up. Everything went so smoothly on the big day and we have Lauren and her team to thank for that :) The Crossings will always have a very special place in our hearts and we can't wait to visit whenever we're back in the area.

I had my wedding at the Crossings at Carlsbad on 10.10.21. Overall, the day was beautiful and I am very happy to have chosen this venue!Originally my partner and I booked this venue back in Sept 2020 and worked with Alex Ghilarducci. Alex was great and very thorough during our meetings together. We also, worked with Courtney Mackay, who ended up being our main point of contact and day of coordinator, which the venue includes. From the dress rehearsal to the wedding day Courtney was very kind during the whole process and was also great to work with! Like any business you work with over a longer period of time, there will always be pros and cons so I will list them out given my experience with this wedding venue.Pros:-The location is absolutely stunning! With the ocean view in the background of the ceremony and on a golf course, we got a lot of great photos during our special day. -The venue included a lot of the basic wedding details like the table and chairs. They also have two arches to choose from which we chose the hexagon arch that turned out so nice! -The food is included and varies based off of the package you choose. We chose the classic package and got the grilled flat iron steak and miso glazed salmon which were very delicious! Our guests raved how good the food was and all of the staff were very kind. Also, Courtney was very attentive to make sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the night from getting our dinner to making sure we had our drinks. -The reception hall was very spacious and I liked how we set up the hall. We had the sweet heart table in front of the fireplace with the DJ/Photo booth to the right, the dance floor in front of the sweet heart table, and the round guest tables behind the dance floor space. The reception hall is all hard wood flooring so the dance floor was just an open space.Cons:-My mistake since I did not clarify beforehand but the table numbers and locations were not what I envisioned. I thought table one and two would be closest to the sweet heart table but instead they started in the back. Therefore, both set of parents were sitting in the back of the room which was unfortunate. -Also, partially our fault but our credit card payment did not go through since it was over the limit. The contact stated the final payment was due 10 days prior to the wedding date but they did not process the payment until the night of the wedding. It would have been nice to address the issue days before instead of having to deal with getting an additional card on the night of the wedding. Overall, our experience at the Crossings was very positive for our wedding day! Everyone was very kind and made the experience very enjoyable! I would recommend having your wedding at the Crossings!

Let me first start by saying, I've visited more than 10 venues near the beach, trying to find exactly what I was looking for. Not only the price point but also what they offered - the entire package. And I will say without a doubt, The Crossings At Carlsbad, had everything I was looking for. The food was delicious, which is very important since people always complain that wedding food is not good. The fact that there is a full service restaurant at the golf course made the food ready quickly and served hot during our reception. Our guests raved about how good the cocktail hour food was and how delicious the dinner food was. The presentation was great and the service was even better. Speaking of food and service, my day-of coordinator (which is part of the package) saw our printed menus and saw that one of the pass around appetizers during the cocktail hour was printed as an appetizer during the reception/ dinner and made a quick change to have it served at each table before the main course came out. That's what I call paying attention to detail. Now let me tell you about my day-of coordinator, Alex Ghilarducci, she was absolutely AMAZING! A couple months before, I had another coordinator that I was working with throughout the year and emailing but due to some personal matters, she had to move back to the east coast. I was definitely worried about that but Alex reassured me that everything would be fine and that she's read all the emails and all the notes for our big day. And she proved me right. She has an attention to detail, a design eye, and knows how to think quickly on her feet without stressing out the bride. We were only able to meet a few times due to my busy work schedule, yet she knew exactly what my vision was and made it all turn out perfectly. She was THE BEST! She works great under pressure and knows how to accommodate for unexpected things such as a guest bringing their kids without letting me know, she found them seats and got their food. She made the wedding rehearsal go smoothly as well. She was without a doubt, the best day-of coordinator for our big day. I'm really thankful for the last minute change because working with her was such a delight. Now, the venue. I loved the set up of the whole place. We had an evening wedding and I was worried there would still be golfers in the background of the ceremony but there weren't. It was perfect for the outdoor ceremony with the ocean view and an indoor reception. The cocktail hour was nice too because everyone enjoyed the balcony and the outdoor space. They had lots of room to mingle with a great view and great photo ops with the sunset. The staff was on top of everything and so professional and courteous. They made everything go smoothly. I was very happy with this venue and would definitely choose it again! Thank you The Crossings At Carlsbad Team. You guys are absolutely amazing! You made our special day perfect!

We had our ceremony and reception at The Crossings this past August, and it was fantastic! Alex and the rest of the staff were always on top of everything and helped make things go smoothly. They worked well with all of our vendors and were there for anything that we needed. Our guests all really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! The only negative was that we were told security was being required at all functions going forward for an additional cost, about a month before our wedding. The cost was not in our original budget, but we worked with Alex to get it straightened out. Overall, we were very happy with how things went, and are very happy with our choice. It was a beautiful day, and we're glad we were at The Crossings for it!

My husband and I got married at The Crossings and it was truly the best day ever for us! We wanted an outdoor wedding and indoor reception and The Crossings delivered. Not only do you get an ocean view at the ceremony area without the beach crowd, you also get a breathtaking sunset (especially for cocktail hour if you time it right). The landscaping of the golf course is beautiful, and the architecture of the building is just as amazing.Our day of coordinator was Alex and she was assisted by Courtney. They were both fantastic to work with; they were very friendly and responded to all my questions immediately. I tend to be very organized in scheduling my to-dos and they made everything really easy on me by being readily available to communicate with and willing to accommodate many of our requests! They made sure everything went smoothly on the big day and our guests absolutely had a blast. I expected to be worried and stressed during the day of the wedding, but it turned out to be an absolute breeze! I am very fortunate to say that I enjoyed my own wedding, and it is thanks to Alex, Courtney, and the staff for such a wonderful evening.During cocktail hour, we (B&G) got some quick bites of the appetizers and were escorted to throughout the golf course for photos. It was nice and secluded, and made for wonderful photos. We also requested for signature drinks and the bartenders did not disappoint! Our guests loved the service and enjoyed the drinks as much as we did!We had a lot of kids at our wedding (17 to be exact) and Alex was very obliging. We were provided with highchairs for families with toddlers so that they wouldn’t have to worry about bringing their own from home or having the toddler sit on their parent’s lap. We were also allowed to use the board room as a kid’s entertainment room with toys, goodie bags, and Netflix (cartoon) playing on the TV for the kids. All our guests were raving to us about the food! They all enjoyed their meals and absolutely loved all the appetizers – the Brie was the big winner for a lot of guests! The wedding cake is also included in your package, so that is one less thing to worry about. Plus, they work directly with VG Donuts & Bakery! My husband and I absolutely love VG Donuts.. so another win there.The staff was highly attentive. They constantly filled up waters, cleared the tables, and helped with any requests our guests had. As the bride and groom, we were constantly taken care of – apps and champagne were ready immediately after ceremony, our drinks were always full, food was ready for us immediately after first dance, etc. Overall, I am extremely happy with how everything turned out and I want to sincerely thank Alex and her team for everything!! It will be a day we will never forget! If you are considering The Crossings, go check the place out! I highly recommend it.

My husband and I got married at the Crossings in October. We worked with Alex during the whole process, and she was responsive and so helpful. I fell in love with the venue during our initial tour and knew it was the place for our big day!Only complaint was that security had to be added and wasn't included in the initial quote. Security was seen texting during parts of the reception. Slightly disappointing, but not a big deal!The wedding was absolutely beautiful with the help of the Crossings whole team. Our ceremony outside was perfect with perfect weather. The food was delicious. Some guests said their steaks were overcooked. But all the other food was amazing. Everything ran smoothly and guests had an amazing time!

We absolutely love The Crossings!! We wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception- The Crossings is literally the perfect place for that! Gorgeous views as soon as you drive up! When I reached out to the crossings through the knot, Alex was quick to respond and we set up our venue tour! The beautiful green course and beach views were an obvious selling point for us, but what really won us over was the reception room! We had already visited a few other venues who also had very beautiful landscaping, but then you’d get to the reception rooms and they were awful - old carpeting, old chandeliers and scuffed up walls. The crossings reception room on the other hand has beautiful wood flooring, a lovely fireplace, high ceilings with floor to ceiling windows so you can see the outdoor views from inside! It also has a wrap around deck, perfect for watching the sunset during your cocktail hour. Throughout the whole year of planning, Alex was always available to answer any questions I had, and I tend to ask a lot of questions! She is also very thorough with asking you questions about how you want your day to go to make sure every detail is perfect! The crossings holds a wedding showcase where you can see the venue set up for a wedding, and they have a ton of vendors you can meet with while there! Our food tasting was was really fun! We brought two of our friends in our bridal party and got to try some delicious food! Another plus is your CAKE is included through VGs donuts! As happy as we already were with The Crossings, once the wedding day arrived we were BEYOND impressed with Alex and the staff! I showed up with a lot of anxiety that day and Alex assured me not to worry and continuously made sure I was okay throughout the day, while managing the timeline, and all the other surprises that come up during a wedding, like the weather! Alex’s expert instincts from her experience at The Crossings gave us the confidence to keep our ceremony outside as we had dreamed of. Our ceremony narrowly averted the rain and at the last minute she help assure us it was the right decision! I also want to give a special shout out to the waiter JR who was taking care of my husband and I! He was so great and paid special attention to ours needs! The entire night of our wedding and for weeks after our guests raved about what an amazing wedding we put on! They loved the venue, they loved the food (especially the coconut shrimp app), and they complimented how smoothly the day went! Without Alex and the rest of the staff at The Crossings this would not have been possible! We love you guys!!!

My husband and I got married at The Crossings just last weekend and I couldn't wait to write a review. The staff were impeccable! Alexis and JR took care of me, the groom and my immediate family like we were Kings and Queens. There were subtle check in's, thoughtful suggestions, and just smiles to spread around the room. Alexis jumped in an held my veil for me as I walked down the stairs, which I couldn't appreciate more! I also had two day of coordinators and the three of these ladies went together like peanut butter and jelly. I highly recommend this place for your wedding. Not only is the venue stunning, the people are amazing, and the convenience of the hotel next door you just can't beat! Lastly, the communication of this team was top notch. Every question, comment or thought I had...they had a perfect answer or solution. I wish I could have a wedding every year and it could be here!!!!

Wedding day was perfect!! Every detail went smoothly thanks to our wedding Coordinator from the Crossings, Alexis Shine. Communicating with Alexis was stress relieving. She always responded within the day, usually within a few hours. Her presence is relaxed but serious, very thorough! Ceremony was lovely on their lawn area with ocean views. Our guests received champagne upon arrival. The craftsman style restaurant for our reception is what I fell in love with. It adds its own warmth and sophistication with fireplace and wall of windows allowing you to see sunsets. I hated the day to end.

My husband and I got married at The Crossings last month (February 2019) and loved every minute of our wedding! We had planned to get married outside on the lower lawn only to have quite the downpour just as we were getting ready to start our pictures; however, The Crossings has a stunning indoor ceremony area for precisely this scenario (and at no additional charge!). We got married in front of a gorgeous stone fireplace and glass windows all around so we could still see the ocean view. All of our guests commented on how beautiful and intimate the ceremony was.Alex G. was our main point of contact and she and her entire team were great and so accommodating! They are kind, organized, and experienced and made our day incredible. After our ceremony, we had a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, and the space was just perfect and everything was delicious! My husband and I also had our own personal server for the evening so our glasses were never empty and we were taken care of throughout the night.Thank you to the entire Crossings team for making our wedding so incredible! I am so glad I picked The Crossings for my wedding day because the whole process and my big day was absolutely PERFECT. My wedding coordinator was Kaitlin and she was a dream to work with. She was prompt with responding to all my emails by the next day, no matter how big or small the question was which definitely helped ease the wedding planning anxiety ;) The Crossings has flexible packages for different budgets. I opted in for the package that included ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. To my delight, this also included a 1 hour cocktail hour - drinks included, linens, chairs, charger plates, cake and dessert table. To all the new brides doing research let me tell you, these types of all inclusive packages are INCREDIBLY hard to find so it was such a dream that The Crossings including all of this so I didn't have to spend/waste extra money renting these items. Also, let me state again that they didn't only include a cake but also a dessert table which such a huge trend at weddings now a days and something you guests will super appreciate since not everyone does cake. AND it's provided by VG's bakery which is amazing. Their cake, donuts, desserts are not only amazing but they are also amazing to work with and the sampling is so fun -- and may I also add generous! Ok, back to the wedding. Everything went SEAMLESSLY. My wedding coordinator made it so easy by providing me with a checklist of what she needed and she handled contacting the vendors to let them know what time to set up and where they needed to be. We were on schedule the whole entire day. My family, who are the pickiest people to exist on this planet, complemented on how beautiful everything was and what a dream my coordinator was. Ok, THE FOOD. Food was delicious. In cocktail hour we were able to choose three apps and we went with the lamb skewers, poke, and capresse skewers. All 3 were so good and I consider myself a foodie so I am picky when it comes to these things. Dinner also did not disappoint and everyone said all the food was delicious. We went with the herb marinated steak, chicken, and ravioli. For our bar service we opted to do a specified budget vs. paying open bar for everyone because not all our family members drink. I loved that we had the flexibility of choosing this because we came way under budget on the bar and got a refund on the leftover amount we didn't use of our budget AND everyone had a kick ass time. The wait staff it also amazing, flexible and so friendly. Shout out to JR who when I almost fell trying to pick up my napkin that fell off my lap, picked me back up like a knight in shining armor. When we began planning for the perfect venue for our September 1, 2018 wedding, I didn't know how spoiled we would be when we chose The Crossings. Not only is the venue gorgeous with the craftsman architecture of the reception building, but the outdoor ceremony location, complete with the ocean backdrop, created the perfect scene for our morning ceremony (and yes, the sun came out right before we began...). Combine all that with the patio after-party, and you have a dream wedding come true! Our wedding exceeded all of our visions, expectations and hopes. Our guests continue to share the joy they experienced with us that special day and I am so happy that we have only received incredibly positive feedback. Kaitlin, our coordinator, exceeded all of our expectations in ways I can't even begin to describe. Not only was she on top of every detail the whole way through, she went out of her way to make sure the day-of was complete from hours before the guests arrived until well beyond the last guest left. She is absolutely perfect for this job, and she does it with grace, charm and smiles the whole way through. The works hard so others don't have to, and so the bride and groom (and ALL guests) don't have to lift a finger. The whole staff at The Crossings is incredible, friendly, professional and wonderful. They made all of our guests feel very special all day long and adjusted to requests here and there effortlessly. They went out of their way to make sure my husband and I were treated like royalty -- and it showed. I want to personally acknowledge the management at The Crossings for their incredible dedication to excellence, because it really takes top-notch management to make sure every person focuses on details to pulled off the perfect event. I could probably write pages on how wonderful everything and everyone was, and how special we were treated throughout the whole process -- it all was truly THAT wonderful. The chef at The Crossings also deserves high kudos for the incredibly-prepared appetizers and entrees. I've lost count on the number of guests who shared how delicious everything was. Oh, and the bakery they use is also one-of-a-kind. They customized everything we wanted to reach far beyond our expectations and visions. If you truly want to experience the perfect wedding, I highly recommend you choose The Crossings. I am still blown away by how amazing everything turned out, and it's been over two weeks since we were married. The memories are worth everything to us, in ways we probably don't even know yet. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us create the best day imaginable. We truly feel so honored to have our wedding at your venue.

The Crossings was the picture perfect venue for our wedding! Ocean view, ocean breeze, gorgeous reception room! The staff here was incredible, particularly Alex! She was the best wedding coordinator and over exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, she was attentive to every single detail and responded promptly to our emails. She truly cared about us and our day being as perfect as possible! The food here was also amazing! Kevin, who we met at our food tasting, was very accommodating to our beer and wine choices as well! All of the serving staff were respectful and took care of our guests! We could not have asked for anything more! Truly a magical place to have a wedding!

The Crossings was absolutely AMAZING!! Kaitlin was incredible and took care of everything! So professional. The entire staff was amazing, the food delicious and the venue is perfect. There were no surprises at all. This was the first wedding I helped plan with my oldest daughter and Kaitlin made it so easy. She gave us unbelievable guidance on what we needed vs. what we could live without. It was a perfect day! HIGHLY Recommend. Our guests could not stop with the compliments!

My husband and I got married at The Crossings on August 4th and we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful day. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff was super professional, everything was within our price range and there were no \"hidden\" costs. While I have many great things to say about The Crossings, the real praise goes to our coordinator, Kaitlin. There aren't enough words to express how amazing Kaitlin is! She is friendly, energetic, organized, responsive (even while on vacation!), and did everything within her power to make sure our wedding day was the most special day. So, if you're having trouble choosing a wedding venue, look no further than The Crossings. And if Kaitlin is your coordinator, you will have absolutely nothing to worry about! She's a superstar!

I truly can't say enough good things about our recent experience at The Crossings. Our daughter's wedding day was perfect. The outdoor area for the wedding ceremony was beautiful and the reception area likewise. Everyone involved in the service that day was professional and courteous. The food was delicious--from the appetizers to the main entrees and dessert. Our guests danced the night away and we are continuing to get feedback that they had a fabulous evening celebrating with us. So that you know I am being truthful, I would make a suggestion for improvement--but it turns out that this is already being addressed. Currently, there is no dedicated \"bridal room\" to use for dressing. The venue does offer use of their locker rooms (which are actually much better than they sound). However, it turns out that The Crossings is in the process of constructing a bridal room. As awesome as this venue is, what really makes it remarkable is Kaitlin. Kaitlin is the BEST! I had my wedding reception here and was planning from out of state. Kaitlin was easy to communicate with and very professional. It also rained the entire day of my wedding which cut out use of the patio for cocktail hour but Kaitlin saved the day and made an amazing use of the indoor space! She was extremely encouraging during the entire planning process and The Crossings staff in general was extremely accommodating. Overall the reception planning process with them was a breeze and I wish I could do it over and over again because Kaitlin and her team were such a joy to work with!

AMAZING!! We just got married over the weekend and it was PERFECT. First of all our coordinator Alex is amazing!!! She was so helpful through the entire process. We are from Arizona and she was so great communicating with us over email or phone whenever I needed. She was out of the country the month before our wedding and when an issue came up she went out of her way to give me her cell number so I was able to stay in contact while the issues was resolved!! On the day of everything went smoothly and I know it was because of her. Highly recommend!!!!

If I could give Kaitlin and The Crossings more than 5 stars, I would. Our May wedding was the end result of a year and a half of planning and Kaitlin ensured that we had the absolute best day. The whole venue is beautiful, our guests wouldn't stop telling us that! The reception was so wonderful, the food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and I truly felt like we had our dream wedding. Kaitlin was our savior that day, when my florist actually GAVE UP on hanging up our arch decorations, she saved the day with a few zip ties and some help from the groomsmen. You will not regret choosing The Crossings for your wedding, they'll make sure you have a perfect day!

PERFECTION!! This was the first venue of several we visited during the planning process. I knew immediately this was IT. From beginning to end - this venue was beyond exceptional. We had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago and keep hearing great feedback from our guests. Alex Ghilarducci was our onsite coordinator and was really heaven sent. As a bride without a wedding planner, planning a wedding can be quite stressful, but Alex made me feel so comfortable and confident every step of the way. She paid close attention to detail, responded to my emails quickly, and communicated well with all of my vendors. She is a true professional and a true asset to The Crossings. We had such a great experience we are planning to hosts other events here. Food is amazing, plenty of parking available, the staff is wonderful, and the views are incredible. I really have nothing but great things to say about this venue. Highly recommend!

This review is wayyy overdue!!! My little sister got married here this past February and I can't say enough great things about this venue and the staff. Kaitlin, her Day of Coordinator, was incredible from the very beginning and throughout the entire wedding process. Working in the event and wedding industry myself, I know it takes a lot of little details to pull off a wedding and in addition, being her older (and protective) sister, I really just wanted to make sure everything was covered and turned out the way they wanted it. My biggest fear was having to \"work\" on her wedding day and I thought it would be much harder to not be in control the day of their wedding to make sure everything went smoothly, BUT Kaitlin definitely put my mind at ease and made sure everything was covered - I had nothing to worry about and I am so grateful for her! Long story short - I was able to enjoy my sister's wedding day as her sister and not \"work\" - so THANK YOU Kaitlin and to your entire staff and team. You all made my sister and her husband's wedding day a dream come true and I can't thank you all enough! <3

My husband and I recently had our wedding at the Crossings and our guests can't stop raving about how wonderful it was. We had a fully outdoors ceremony and reception looking out over the Pacific Ocean and sunset. We worked with Kaitlin M. who went above and beyond to make our big day flawless. She was so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process and had every last detail locked in so we could relax and enjoy. I looked at just about every venue offering a fully outdoor ceremony and reception in the San Diego and North County area, visiting 12 separate venues and this was the clear winner. The grounds are so beautiful for photos and the celebration and there was more than enough room for all of our guests. The wedding packages are such a great value for your dollar and the food is just as good as ordering an individual meal from Canyons. Highly highly highly recommend this venue and staff.

I loved my wedding at The Crossings!!! Good things first: The venue is incredibly gorgeous and affordable. Food was great (we had option of salmon or steak). Service was very good. The ceremony and reception setting were beautiful. Wedding day coordinator was very helpful, Alex was very professional and trustworthy. I really liked her as our wedding planner. Downside: Hours d'ouvres for cocktail hour was not enough for everybody, even my husband and I did not get any food. We paid 23% service fee and bartenders still had 2 tip jars for my guests. We paid for premium bar, but we had guests complaining that a cheaper kind of scotch was being served at the end of the party. Scotch was served in a plastic glass, and I think it did not look classy, I wish I knew that before. Also, Alex was our coordinator, but when we tried to negotiate, she had to ask her boss, and would come back with a no answer most of the time. I don't know if this is a sales techniques, but I would prefer negotiating with her supervisor directly. These are minor things that did not ruin my wedding day. I loved it and everybody complimented us and said how beautiful everything was. Every body had fun. I recommend this venue. I also recommend Alex as a great wedding coordinator. She kept me informed of timing and everything else that was going on. I saw her working hard to make everything beautiful and organised during the big day!!! She is very easy to talk to, has a lot of experience and confidence.

We can't say enough about Becca H. and her team. Everything ran smooth on the day of our wedding. She was fun to watch playing referee with the golfers who had to be stopped for pictures and not walk down the walkway and into the wedding itself. LOL. The food was incredible and the chef even carved us a couple of pumpkins to go with our Halloween themed wedding. He even went so far as to put dry ice in some colored water for fun effects. I would highly recommend the crossings for your wedding and reception!

The Crossings was the perfect venue for our wedding. We loved how the ceremony was outside with a gorgeous view and cocktail hour/the reception were conveniently located right upstairs. The food was really great and we only had the basic package. Kaitlin was our wedding coordinator and she didn't skip a beat on anything. She made sure the entire night ran smoothly, ultimately making sure that we were having the best day ever. I highly recommend The Crossings as a wedding venue :)

Honestly, we consider ourselves so lucky in discovering and using The Crossings At Carlsbad for our daughter's wedding. The venue is warm, roomy and beautiful without being pretentious. But it's the people that sold us on The Crossings. The entire staff is exemplary. To a person, they couldn't have been friendlier and more professional. Kaitlin, our wedding coordinator, was AMAZING. She just made the whole process effortless. Whatever we dreamed of, she made happen. Brad, our go to bartender and server, was the best ever. Brent, the head chef, was outstanding. Anything we wanted, he gladly and expertly created. The food was prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. Even the outside vendors and entertainment we brought in for the evening commented on how easy and enjoyable it was working with the staff at The Crossings. Again, thank you to all of the wonderful staff for helping to create the perfect wedding for our daughter.

What a great venue! We planned this wedding from the other side of the country (our family is in the area), and did not see the venue until the day before the wedding - it was better than the pictures! Kaitlin and the staff took care of everything, even things we didn't realize needed to be taken care of! They take out a lot of the stress. We had a wedding party of just under 150. We had the ceremony on the lawn, and the reception in the banquet hall. So many guests commented on how great the venue was.

We had our wedding at The Crossings on 7/30/17, and it was absolutely perfect! First, the venue is stunning. The ceremony was outside on a grassy area with an ocean view, and the reception was inside their giant banquet room which is also beautiful. Our guests could enjoy going out to the patio at any time of the night also. Additionally, the food was scrumptious! It doesn't taste like traditional \"wedding food\" but more like a high-end restaurant. Everyone kept remarking on how delicious it was. Finally, this venue was so easy to work with. Becca was our wedding coordinator, and she was extremely responsive. She has a calm and kind demeanor that made the whole planning process run smoothly. She never tried to up-sell anything and was very respectful of our budget. We went with their most affordable package and it was perfect for us. I love how everything was pretty much all inclusive, from set up/take down, the food, tables, etc. Everyone kept coming up to us and telling us how this was the best wedding ever, and I know it's because of how awesome The Crossings was. They truly know how to put on a wedding!

We just got married this past weekend and I'm so thankful for and impressed by The Crossings! Kaitlin, our wedding coordinator, was an absolute rockstar and made sure that the whole day ran smoothly. There was an issue with an outside vendor (an ice cream truck) and Kaitlin made sure that that was taken care of as best as possible, and gave me a detailed run-down of what happened the next day so that I could get my money back from that vendor. Overall, it was a huge success!! Food was great. Ceremony and reception went very well. So so pumped to see how our pictures around the golf course and waterfalls turned out. Also, riding in a golf cart while wearing a wedding gown is a hilarious experience. I'm glad I found this venue because it was such a good deal (they have great booking specials) and their whole staff is very professional and detail-oriented. Get married here!!

The Crossings was a dream venue for us- golf course photo ops, amazing clubhouse, ocean views, and stellar food and service. We couldn't have had a better experience working with Kaitlin and the whole team at the Crossings. They are super responsive to every question and concern that arises along the way- but there really weren't too many as their packages are practically all-inclusive! We ended up using almost all vendors off of their recommended list and we were thrilled with every one. If you are looking for a gorgeous San Diego venue at an incredible price- go to The Crossings!

We loved The Crossings at Carlsbad. We used this space for our ceremony and reception. Beautiful grounds and great package choices. The catering was wonderful and very delicious. We had a great Day of Coordinator Kaitlin that helped guide us through preparation and the days timeline. The only reason for a 4 star rating and not a 5 star rating was the level of attention to detail. There were a few items that were not set up quite the way we instructed and when it was pointed out we were met with a little push back saying there was not time to fix it. Even with the detail mix up the day was beautiful and everyone had a wonderful time!!

We fell in love with The Crossings immediately and are so happy that we decided to have our wedding there.From our initial tour to the day of our wedding the staff were a pleasure to work with. Becca was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. Her friendly personality, organization, and attention to detail really put us at ease. She was there on our wedding day to coordinate vendors and kept the timeline of events flowing nicely. We honestly didn't worry once on our wedding day and enjoyed every moment! The venue itself is amazing! The ceremony lawn is gorgeous. There is a great outdoor balcony for the cocktail hour, and the craftsman style clubhouse is great for the reception (and looks amazing in your photos), The food was amazing too, our guests were raving about the appetizers & dinner. Also, there are a couple of hotels right across the street. This was great for out of town guests and for the bridal party. The Crossings definitely exceeded our expectations! We are so glad that we chose to do our wedding there.

The venue was perfect for our reception of 28 people! We met in the octagon room with the beautiful stonework and a gorgeous view of the golf-course and the ocean. The food was delicious. The only problem we ran into was during the dances. The Crossings staff forgot to turn of the mood music, so there were two songs playing at once.

The Crossings at Carlsbad was the perfect wedding venue. We choose the location for the views and the exposed beams and stone. Originally Lindsey was our coordinator. She was very professional and responsive, especially since we booked so early. A few months before our wedding we were told Lindsey was moving and Becca was now our coordinator. During our next meeting at The Crossings, Becca was extremely friendly and was knowledgeable about our wedding despite having just taken over. The day of the wedding, everything was perfect. We looked a lot of places in Southern California for our venue. We decided we had seen enough places when I my Aunt from Carlsbad suggested The Crossings because she had been to a wedding there. We decided to check it out and fell in love. The venue is absolutely beautiful (yes you will have to deal with plane noises from the airport but it is definitely worth it). Our wedding coordinator was Lindsey Bockoven and she was great! Very responsive and helped us out with anything we needed. It was also a great deal and did not eat all of our budget. If we had to do it all again we would definitely keep The Crossings as our venue.

While searching for wedding venue ideas I came across an advertisement for The Crossings in a bridal magazine. It quickly became one of the 5 we went to see in person. After we left our first meeting with Erica, director of catering, we knew the venue was perfect. The entire process was easy, fun, and stress-free. Becca Hartegan was our planning coordinator and she's not only a great planner, but an overall amazing woman. She was easy to get a hold of, prompt in her responses, and always friendly and professional. She always had an answer for our questions, and was very accommodating with all of our requests. They really are \"all inclusive\" and made the money spent well worth it. All of my guests were stunned at the beauty of the venue. I highly recommend The Crossings as a wedding venue, or even a place to grab a meal! The food is to die for, and the staff are top-notch. Our special day was nothing short of perfect.

I just had my wedding here a couple weeks ago...BEAUTIFUL...Beyond what I could even image for my wedding! The Crossings takes good care of you and make sure you have a wonderful wedding! Lindsey, who is a wedding day coordinator there, is absolutely fabulous! Otherwise, I highly recommend the Crossings!

Choosing The Crossings as our wedding venue was the best choice we made throughout all of our wedding planning. My husband and I could not be any happier with how everything went from when we signed our contract at The Crossings to the day of our wedding. Lindsey was our coordinator throughout all of the planning. Her responsiveness, energy, and assistance made planning so enjoyable and fun! All of our guests were impressed with the food, service, and overall experience during our ceremony and reception at The Crossings. Thank you to the entire staff (especially Lindsey) for everything!!! :)

This venue is such a beautiful place for wedding. The view is great, the service is great. Especially, the wedding coordinator is very helpful. The venue has such a great wedding package with a reasonable and affordable price. The package includes cake, pre-setup for the wedding, on day-of wedding coordinator. People there are very happy, helpful and professional. The only many of guests complained was that the food didn't meet the expectation. Many guests said that the steak were rare. And everyone said that the bread was very hard to eat. It could be due to the large amount of food that the kitchen staff had to make in advance, and each person has different preference for steak. But regardless, I love this venue, guest enjoyed the venue. The crossings at Carlsbad is a beautiful venue for a wedding. Highly recommended!

I have nothing but good things to say about The Crossings! Lindsey Bockoven was assigned as our coordinator. We are from out of town and she worked with us the whole way through. She made sure our schedules coordinated, all of my details i wanted for the wedding were set exactly like i wanted them to be, she met with us numerous times to go over table setting details, ceremony set up, the location of every little detail, and i received charts of exactly what everything would look like. I recommend going to their Bridal Show to try all of the appetizers ahead of time. She was also available the whole day of the ceremony, she made sure all of the vendors were taken care of so everyone could enjoy the wedding. She checked on us throughout the wedding to make sure everything was just as we wanted. The location was beautiful, the staff is very helpful, the rooms available for the ceremony are beautiful and a lot of space, the balcony was perfect for our cocktail hour, the view was something from photographs. All of our guests had an amazing time. \rWe did the saturday morning wedding with a lunch ceremony. Great price and just the right amount of time for everything we wanted to get done for our big day!

The staff at the Crossings were absolutely amazing. Upon using the venue you are assigned a coordinator to help you on the day of and to answer any questions you have along the way. My coordinator was Lindsey and I cannot express how grateful I was to have her. I'm a type A and like everything perfect. I thought for sure I'd be stressed about the details on the wedding day but Lindsey didn't allow for that. She made everything run so smoothly! I was able to enjoy my wedding and not have a worry in the world. It really made all the difference! Not only was Lindsey great, but the venue itself was spectacular. Everything was absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious! Almost every guest made it a point to tell me how amazed they were with my venue and how much fun they had. Although they are a little pricey, I would have my wedding at the Crossings again in a heart beat. Everything was perfect!

From the moment I saw the Crossings I knew I wanted this to be the venue for my wedding. The beautiful clubhouse (which in my eyes looks like a castle) along with the gorgeous ocean view from the ceremony and dining area, made the choice so easy. I felt like a princess walking down the grand staircase! Lindsey was our coordinator; she was great and responded to all of my hundreds of emails. She was so accommodating and helpful with the whole planning process. Even when we found out there was a possibility for rain during the ceremony. She helped keep me calm and explained all my options. Everything worked out and it stopped raining just 1 hour before the ceremony began, which made the ocean view even more spectacular. Lindsey was also so helpful in allowing options for me to verify I got everything I wanted out of my wedding. For example, they even allowed me to extend the cocktail hour to an hour and a half so that I had enough time to head down to the beach for bridal party pictures, which is the one thing I really wanted. The day of the event, Lindsey dealt with everything and I didn't even know when 2 additional people showed up at last minute notice, she was able to fix the situation and everything went off smoothly. The food was great and I loved that they have a package that include having your cake from VGs bakery (famous bakery in Carlsbad). I cant express enough how awesome The Crossings (including Lindsey and all of her staff) were for the whole planning process and the day of. I will absolutely be recommending this beautiful venue to all of my friends!

My Fiance and I got married 2 weeks ago at The Crossings and we cannot say enough good things about it. The food was delicious and the venue was beautiful. We didn't have to worry about any little details that day because our wedding coordinator, Becca, made sure everything went smoothly and fixed any glitches that may have occurred. The location for the bride & groom photos that was provided by the Crossings was gorgeous. It was on the golf course by a waterfall and it made the pictures 100X better. It really was the perfect wedding day and I wouldn't change anything about the venue.

My wedding was held at The Crossings on July 4,2014 and I can't say enough GREAT things nor can my guest. We had about 120 guests who attended. Everything from the ceremony, reception, food, fireworks, and service were stellar in beauty and quality. The staff made the day simply perfect and my guests could not believe how excellent the food was - every meal option received rave reviews. Lindsey Bockoven was my day of coordinator and was there not only to support on the day of the wedding but also was a tremendous help leading up to the big day. The ceremony was held outside and the reception indoors in the clubhouse. The entire day looked WAY more expensive than what we actually paid- you truly get the biggest bang for your buck.

My husband and I recently got married at The Crossings At Carlsbad, and couldn't be happier with our venue selection!! From the very start, we were assigned someone to e-mail or call with all of our questions/concerns. We had Becca Hartegan as our day of coordinator, and were VERY impressed with her responsiveness to e-mails, patience with numerous questions, and overall professionalism when it came to her job. Becca would always answer any question we had for her, and in a quick manner. The Crossings At Carlsbad was very flexible when it came to us wanting to set up for our wedding the evening prior at our rehearsal, since no other event was occurring that evening. This allowed us to be a little more stress free the morning of our wedding. The service was excellent, both from what I witnessed as the bride, as well as what I have heard from guests. As soon as our ceremony had ended, everyone was instantly greeted with champagne/mimosas. From what I heard from guests, there were more than enough appetizers to go around at cocktail hour. The food that was included in our package was INCREDIBLE! Everyone was impressed by it's quality, temperature, and arrival time. The scenery for the ceremony location at the Crossings is breathtaking, and the reception room is absolutely gorgeous. If we were to choose a venue all over again, it would definitely be the Crossings, and we would recommend this to anyone looking to get married!
