I will start by saying that I was initially impressed with the venue because it’s the only ballroom in town that isn’t part of a hotel. Before my wedding day even came we had to fight for what we were promised when we signed a contract. We were sold 10 round tables seating 10 guests each. They abruptly changed the tables with no notice to us to rectangular tables with no table cloths only seating 8. Had I not been following them on Facebook I would not have been notified of the change. Following that, the ceremony space had also changed. From one day to the next they had put down ASTRO TURF! Again, no notice to us except posts on their Facebook page. When I asked how we could cover it, or change it because that’s not what we were promised when we booked the venue, I was told that I needed to be a little more accommodating because I was getting everything else I asked for. I was constantly talked down to when asking questions about the venue and about getting the things we were promised. Not to mention on the various Times I was told to make sure my DJ “Habla inglés” Because im Hispanic. At our rehearsal, Mary was very disrespectful to my bridal party. She was annoyed that my flower girls and ring bearer were there (age 2 & 3). She yelled at them for spilling a drop of water on the tile. At one point she even grabbed one of the children. one of my groomsmen had to tell her to stop touching people. On our wedding day, we were told that Mary was being again aggressive and abrasive to our guests. She was rude to my mother while we were getting ready. She told my mother-in-law that she was not to sit in the front row of our ceremony, she said “Anywhere but the front row.” My MIL explained that she was the mother of the groom, and Mary responded “Did you not hear what I said?”. She also shooed her upstairs while we were taking photos, resulting in us not having any photos with her. Brides be aware that you are not allowed to arrive before 2 PM to get ready. You have to come basically fully ready to go because nobody will be there. As I was walking down the aisle, I realized that all of my requests for the aisle runner flowers were not the way we had discussed at the mock decor setting appointment. Not to mention that tiles were cracked and moving under my feet as I walked as well. As the night went on, it became very clear that Mary was more worried about micromanaging then doing her job. She was trying to manage my photographers and what photos they were taking. She made everyone feel SO uncomfortable. We were promised two bartenders for 100 people and we only had one. The one bartender that we did have who was supposed to be a licensed bartender, clearly was not. He never made my guests aware that we had beer, which resulted in us taking home eight cases of unopened beer. He also never let guests know what kind of mixers we had so everyone was pretty much guessing the entire night. The other attendants walked around with bad looks on their faces and were equally unpleasant. We had a substantial amount of food for our guests, and they were being limited to one roasted potato. That night we took home two full pans of roasted potatoes! Like I said, if Mary was more worried about the things that she was supposed to be coordinating, then she wouldn’t have had time to micromanage everybody else. I just hope this review reaches the people who have false ideas of what they’re getting and what they’re getting into when they book this venue.

Highly dissatisfied is a under statement. After attending a 3 hour meeting with the bride to be in order to be her extra eyes and ears , take notes and pics and be the person to ensure she had no stress on her big day … the majority of what she asked for was not delivered. On her big day I asked to view the reception space before the ceremony started to endure everything was up to par and was told no. The ceremony space was not accented in her color selections , the drinks to be available on bride and groom suite were not there and I had to have someone get them , no red carpet as agreed upon at front door( they said because of potential rain … 0% chance on that day ) no greeter for guest as agreed upon , no uplighting as agreed upon , many guests complained coordinator was extremely rude to them , so many things that were in the contract were not honored that to list them all would take several pages . The excuses for why contract wasn’t honored were beyond ridiculous. This venue needs to close down and spend some serious money upgrading the facility PROPERLY, purchase items they’ve offered in the packages ( and wait until last minute to tell you the items are not available) and properly train staff .

The venue is beautiful. All in all i enjoyed my There was so many things that went wrong. Some of it I didn't notice till after the wedding. I believe they told me everything I wanted to hear to lock me into an agreement and then on the day of my wedding when I couldn't do anything about it there was no follow through. They made several last minute changes (week before the wedding). For a bride that is scary. First, they decided to change the tables from round to barn style. Which I didn't like because it didn't go with the theme. They changed it back. But complained about how much work it takes. The coordinator was unprofessional and rude to guest and bridal party. I didn't like that she talked badly about past and current customers and former employees. They redid the floors (it was needed). 2 days before my wedding. It was a completely different design than before and didn't really go with the current tile. But I didn't make a fuss. At that point it was nothing I could do. They didn't have the right color for my centerpieces. I was informed of that the night before the wedding. I'm assuming that's why they didn't incorporate the colors downstairs in the ceremony area like they told me. Chairs had a lot of dust and dirt on them. Ceremony was still being setup as guest arrived. Guest was coming in the backdoor (not organized). The package comes with a day of coordinator. Who didn't coordinate that much. My family had to greet guest as they entered. I didn't get the red carpet or red velvet ropes or canopy that was in my agreement. I texted my feedback to the owner who made up excuses as to why I didn't get things. She took no accountability. There was alot more stuff but I didn't want to complain.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! You’re going to love this place. Michelle and her team are excellent at what they do and make your event a breeze. Well organized and well planned.
