The professional coordination team at The Davenport Mansion on the Sound offers a range of wedding packages to choose from. Flawless. My husband Chris and I cannot express enough how incredibly happy we were with our recent wedding at The Davenport Mansion. From the beginning, Guy could not have been more helpful, welcoming and accommodating as we began to plan with him. Guy always made himself available and answered all questions before we even needed to ask. His professionalism and execution of every last detail compares to none. The wedding itself was beautiful and could not have ran any smoother than it did. From the first bite of cocktail hour to the last bit of dessert and everythingin between, our guests could not stop raving about the food and incredibly attentive service. We cannot recommend working with Guy and The Davenport any more highly. He created the most perfect day and memory for us.

Every year we have our fundraising gala at the Davenport Mansion. What a beautiful venue on the sound. Our guests always reach out to us after the event to tell us how good the food was. The staff are so accommodating and our events always go off without a hitch. Never disappointed!

We are so happy we went with the Davenport Mansion for our wedding! The venue is beautiful with lots of character. We loved the combination of the dark hardwood feel of the library and the bar along with the bright and cheerful ballroom with great views of the long island sound. The mansion only hosts one wedding at a time, so you feel like you have all the attention and support that you need. Guy and team are professionals that really know what they are doing. Guy is super welcoming and put us at ease from day one. He is very knowledgeable in his field and gave us lots of great advice when we were making decisions during our planning process. The rest of the team was also great, helping us with set up and breakdown on the day of the event and making sure everything ran according to timeline so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing! The cocktail hour was fantastic- lots of great food options, and the team helped us develop fun and delicious signature drinks that were a huge hit. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor space for guests to mill around. We still get compliments from our guests about how unique the space was and how good the food was! Would highly recommend the Davenport Mansion for your wedding.

Our daughters Sweet Sixteen was at the beautiful Davenport Mansion. It was the most spectacular party we could have ever imagined! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the owner Guy and his Maitre D, Carmine. They went out of their way to ensure the the party was a success. Their advice for decor and food options was impeccable. They were so attentive to all of our needs and requests. It is not often that you see the owner of a venue have a complete hands on approach from start to finish. This what set our party apart from the others!! They made it truly memorable for our daughter! We will forever be grateful for the lasting memories that they gave my daughter and our entire family!!!!

We are so happy that we chose the Davenport Mansion for our wedding venue. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be. The outdoor setting for our ceremony was beautiful but it was good to know that in the event of rain, the venue would have been able to accommodate an indoor wedding ceremony. It was convenient that the bride, groom, and bridal party were able to get dressed at the venue. Guy and his staff took great care of us. They were attentive, professional, and committed to making sure that our day went exactly as we planned. We had so many meal selections to choose from for our big day. Our family and friends could not stop talking about the outstanding service and the delicious food. Our wedding day was amazing! We highly recommend the Davenport Mansion.

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience at the Davenport. From start to finish, every communication, every choice and every detail was just as we hoped it would be. Guy, Gerard, Katie, Skylar, everyone was so kind and accommodating, and so dedicated to making sure our event was just as we had envisioned it. The food was superb, the service was brilliant, and the place looked absolutely stunning. Events like these have a lot of moving parts, and it was wonderful to be relieved of so many details and have them carried out so seamlessly. We highly recommend the Davenport Mansion.

Our wedding was beautiful and wonderfully organized at the Davenport Mansion. Guy communicated well with us months leading up to the wedding and also gave us great advice for certain details like our send off with sparklers. This vendor was absolutely amazing! They were caring, considerate and attentive to all needs, wants and asks from us. Guy and Carmine went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we had and were constantly checking in on the wedding day to make sure everything was going great and as planned. To add, the staff as a whole were very nice and respectful, plus the food was great too. We used multiple vendors they had suggested when comparing to others we found, the others did not compete. Highly recommend and love that they do all types of events! Thanks again for everything.

Mike and I had such a beautiful, fun, and memorable wedding day at the Davenport Mansion. Here are some of the highlights and why we recommend celebrating your special day here hands down.The Venue - It's unique and unheard of to have an entire space just for you and your guests on your wedding day. The mansion was decorated for the holidays and it was like a dream. There were wreaths, garlands, and florals everywhere. There are real fire places too! It's so charming and cozy, but also spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The library room is enchanting. The views from the bar and ballroom are incredible. The ballroom is breathtaking. When we first saw the ballroom we were in love with the floors. So beautiful! We had 12 tables and 125 guests and the layout was well done. There were no bad seats in the house. We could see everyone and easily move around to say hi. The bridal suite is the perfect place to get ready. The lighting is perfect for getting ready photos. And of course the staircase from the second floor to the first is also a great place for photos. The beach view is gorgeous and even for a December wedding it was a lovely addition for photos. Atmosphere 11/10Food - Our cocktail hour was sick! We had multiple tasty cultural stations, including Asian and Italian, a craft beer pairing station, fresh mozzarella making station, and seafood. The entrees were delicious. There was something for everyone. Everyone could not stop raving about the food. Even as the bride and groom we made sure to try it all. Food was important to us and we were over the moon with everything. Super impressed and happy (and full). Food- Again 11/10Staff and Service - Our day would not have been as wonderful if not for the staff. Special thanks to Guy and Carmine for keeping us and our families at ease. We had nothing to worry about. Guy is a pro and was always 5 steps ahead. Nobody had to wait for a drink at the bar and nobody was hungry. 11/10. We knew early on we made the right choice for our special day. It was a no-brainer to have our wedding here at the Davenport Mansion. This venue checks off all the boxes. We had a beautiful, fun, and delicious wedding. Mike and I will always remember this day so fondly. Thank you so much!

Our wedding could not have been any better, and The Davenport Mansion is a big reason I am able to say that. Guy and his team are truly the best at what they do. They were able to answer every question we had, work with us to cater to what we truly wanted and make sure our night was special. The mansion is on the water which made our vision of beach theme come true and they let us do just about what ever we wanted to decorate. We had more then enough time to prepare, both leading up to it and on the big day. They ensured everything ran smooth the entire time from beginning to end, and if anything did go wrong neither the bride nor groom knew about it (exactly how it should be). The food was delicious and they let us substitute and add food, as well as being very considerate for those with food allergies. The day of staff was phenomenal - both professional and attentive. I cannot speak enough to the overall satisfaction!

After visiting many venues we showed up at the Davenport without an appointment and Guy and his staff were very warm and accommodating immediately. From beginning to end they took care of all our needs. Made sure we were happy. If we had concerns they were quick to respond and assure us that we were at the right place. The day of the wedding was simply perfect. The food was great, the service and attention were outstanding and they even got little details right. Our bridal party and guests were very comfortable from early morning bridal prepping to the first look and throughout the evening. Someone gave us a little advice before the wedding “let the professionals do their job” and they certainly were right about that. The Davenport are pure professionals, from the bridal attendant (Anna), Carmine the go to man, Guy the owner, Jason hospitality each and every person on staff were exceptional. Me and my husband wanted to plan another event the next day because we had so much fun. Planning weddings are stressful to make all those details come to fruition but the Davenport made ours a piece of cake. Did I say cake? Yum yum and yum it was good and included in our package. Hands down this is the best place to make your event special. It’s only for you and no one else. The focus is all on you and they make sure you know it. We got married at the Davenport on 10/7/22 and everything was perfect! From the time we walked into the venue we knew that was ‘our’ venue. We booked the Davenport in March for our October day and the process/planning was seamless. The mansion is quaint, well decorated (love the fireplaces), has best views of sound, and grounds are beautiful. So many places to take pictures. Guy was amazing from start. He is professional, responsive and really cared about us having a memorable wedding. He always returned phone calls and emails and was a pleasure to deal with. The food was absolutely amazing!! So many apps and stations to choose from for the cocktail hour (but you can’t go wrong!) our guests raved about the food. The main meal was great as well! On the day of the wedding, we were able to get ready at the davenport and they provided a bridal brunch. We were lucky and it was beautiful weather, so ceremony was outside and was beautiful. The staff did an awesome job guiding people into the cocktail hour then reception. Jason, Carmine, and bridal attendant Gianna were there on our wedding day and they were absolutely amazing. They catered to me and my husband as well as our bridal party and parents. You do not need a wedding planner or day of coordinator at the davenport because they really do it all!! We loved everything about our wedding and so happy we had it there.

I recently had my wedding reception here and everything was perfect! My friends and family continue to rave over how great the evening was, between the vast and wide variety of food, the beautiful scenery and how attentive and accommodating the staff was. The DJ that was recommended to us through the Davenport (Sound Active Entertainment) also did a great job.Shoutout to Guy and his team for helping us ease some wedding planning stress. They were so patient with overbearing planners and were willing to work with us and our detailed list of ideas.My only critique is the staff could have been a bit more careful handling our crystal decorations, since there was a champagne flute that got chipped in the “packing-up” process, but everything else was fantastic!

My daughter’s First Holy Communion was held at this venue. It was absolutely amazing. The Manager, Guy, is a class act. He’s sweet, patient and extremely funny. Guy and his staff (especially Jenny) made planning this celebration pleasurable. The space itself is stunning!!! To date, I still receive compliments on not only the venue, but the staff and the food. Thank you and I will certainly use this venue again.

Between the view, the staff and the food, we couldn't have picked a more perfect venue. The Davenport Mansion is elegant with a beautiful view of the LI sound. Most of the venues we saw on the water lost the view once you were inside. The Davenport's reception room has tall windows so you still have a beautiful view. We loved that we were the only wedding happening that day - a lot of other venues have more than one wedding going on at once. Being the only wedding meant that the day was fully dedicated to us. The Davenport has a groomsmen suite and a bridal suite so the guys were able to get ready at the venue as well. The bridal party spent the morning getting ready and we were served with a wonderful brunch. Guy was really great to work with. He went above and beyond and really made sure the day was perfect for us. Additionally, the food was amazing - all of our guests raved about it. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, thanks to the Davenport!

We used the Davenport Mansion for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. It was a sensational experience from our first visit through the event itself. Guy, the owner, is a very special person: experienced, caring, and really smart about the business. There is so much that is special: we were served a full dinner of hors d’oeuvres when we asked to taste the food (at no charge!), the whole staff was friendly and responsive, and the setting on the Long Island Sound is magnificent. The food is first rate. We could not have been more satisfied. Have your party here!

It's classy and has beautiful views of the LI Sound. The food was phenomenal - all of our guests were blown away by the quality of food. Guy was very easy to work with, took care of all the details, and made our day extra special! We were so happy with how our wedding reception came together - Guy handled all of the organization and it was a beautiful day! Would definitely recommend this venue for any event!

I just had my wedding at The Davenport Mansion on March 26, 2022 and my husband and I could not have been happier! I honestly cannot express adequately how happy I am with this venue!! Everything was fantastic. We used the bridal suites upstairs to get ready; the brunch provided for us was superb and kept our bridal party full all day. The ceremony decorations and setup were beautiful. My guests are still raving about how delicious the food was! Guy was the best to work with. He is so friendly, easy to talk to, and honest. Jenny was amazing as well! She answered all of our questions very quickly and was very organized. Miranda, my bridal attendant, was fantastic! She was so sweet and helpful throughout the entire day. The Davenport does it again! The amazing staff and delicious food never disappoints, and let’s not forget about the ambiance and the wrap-around view of the Sound. This is the second event I’ve held at this venue and my guest continue to rave about how fabulous the Davenport is! The ultimate form of flattery a host can have is when your guests say they want to host their upcoming celebrations at the Davenport as result of attending your event…you know you’ve done right! Guy, Jenny and the staff have been the easiest people to work with and they make you feel like they are longtime friends by the time you are done with all the planning. They want you and your guests to be happy and offer the best suggestions based on your vision. Trust in them and Trust in the Davenport. I look forward to years of events at this place!

we had our wedding here October 16th 2021 and as it should be the best day of our lives it most certainly was. Guy was amazing with helping us bring our vision to life, Anton went above and beyond for us and made us feel special that day. Jenny was also an huge help from beginning to end.. The food Beginning with the hors d’oeuvres and food stations were spot on amazing. Every aspect of this venue is beautiful from the stunning view of the sound to the rustic library and fire place. I would highly recommend this venue they did an incredible job for us. Guy we can not thank you enough for all you help we will be doing more parties with you.

We had a beautiful fall wedding on October 16, 2021. Guy, Anton, Jenny and the entire staff were amazing in making sure all of our requests and needs were met! Anton went above and beyond for us. The food was incredible. The presentation, the food stations, the service… everything was perfect! We asked for fall signature drinks and our guests loved It! We had access to the bridal and groom suites since the morning of our wedding which was so convenient and the staff was so accommodating during the entire stay! We cannot say enough about our perfect day! Huge thank you to, Guy! We will be doing more events with The Davenport Mansion on the Sound :)

Everything about our experience with the Davenport Mansion was perfect. Guy and Jenny helped us every step of the way through our planning process, and my bridal attendant Miranda was a total pro. The venue is stunning, the food was insanely good and the atmosphere was perfect. Our guests couldn't believe how good the food was - our wedding was over a month ago and people are still raving about every detail. Overall, I really can't say enough about how happy we were with Guy and Jenny. I'd recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! In order for this day to be perfect many things had to happen. Guy, Anton, Jenny and Miranda ensured that they would do everything they could to make this day memorable. From our very first visit, The Davenport Mansion and her staff exceeded our expectations. 3000 words aren't nearly enough to detail the superior service but for this review I will keep it short. Anton and Miranda were by our side the whole day. They were attentive without being intrusive. The bridal suite and groom's lounge were stocked with food and beverages while my wife and I got ready for the day. They catered to our immediate family and our guests equally. I felt as if they were part of our party! Guy welcomed us with a warm confident smile and assured us the day would be perfect. Guy knows his business. He made certain that our party was his main event. From our first introduction, Guy made us feel at home. We were invited to taste the food prior to the wedding and he and his chef did not disappoint. He knows he has the best kitchen in Westchester and the food is absolutely delicious. Every single guest raved about the food. The cocktail hour is the first and everlasting impression for the wedding guests. The main meal was so delicious but I kept asking our guests to leave room for the desserts. Every morsel of dessert was presented in such an appetizing way. Guy manages his staff with a smile and seems to ensure that everyone in his staff is friendly and warm. The venue itself is very classy and feels larger than it actually is. My final thoughts are if you would like your wedding to be perfect enlist Guy and his staff. The Davenport Mansion is a boutique wedding venue with superior quality food, amazing views and overall excellence in service. I can not thank Guy, Anton, Jenny, and Miranda enough for giving my bride the very best wedding.

I got married here in September of 2021 and I’m really writing this review to thank Jenny and Anton for their professionalism and for their communication. My fiancé and I walked in and immediately knew this was the venue for us. The owner, Guy was extremely kind considering we were under a small Covid micro-wedding contract, and we felt like we were valued clientele. The demeanor and communication efficiency seemed to change when the restrictions lifted and larger Weddings were once again permitted. That’s just what it felt like to my husband and I, and we can only assume, that’s not a solid claim. But something clearly changed. But from the lifting to the date of our wedding it became very frustrating to get in contact with Guy unless my fiancé or I sent extremely long emails (which were clearly not read by anyone but Jenny and maybe Anton) or called until we felt uncomfortable with how long it was taking to get very simple details solidified and to even just pay the venue on time. My husband and I are very low maintenance people as we run our own business and understand how very difficult clientele can make a job so we really tried not to be one of “those” couples. We always paid our balances ahead of time or on time and really didn’t call very often to bug the vendor with small details, but unless we were being proactive it became a bit frustrating to even settle an invoice. Jenny, Anton and the staff really do the leg work at the venue, and that becomes very clear once you sign on to have your event hosted here. I’m am very conscious of what reviews do to a company so I don’t leave them lightly. However after one of my Bridesmaids informed me that her review was removed from this site I as the Bride decided to leave one myself. Thank you to the staff and Jenny and Anton for keeping everything running and for how seamless the day was. I can’t thank you enough got all of your hard work.

This venue is absolutely incredible! Guy and his staff are exceptional. Our wedding was on June 19, 2021 after being postponed from June 2020. From the very moment we looked at the venue to the wedding day itself, it was such a pleasure working with them. Our wedding was a dream come true, and our guests had an amazing time. Guy constantly worked with us to help make all of our ideas come to life, regarding set up, food, and overall atmosphere. Our wedding at the Davenport Mansion on August 7, 2021 was absolutely fantastic. Guy was so kind and incredibly accommodating after moving our wedding reception date so many times from 2020. Guy and Jenny truly went above and beyond to ensure that our day was the most special and that it would be everything that we imagined. The food was delicious from the cocktail hour through to dessert, the signature drinks (and frose machine!) were a big hit, and the tables were set beautifully. All staff were helpful and friendly. The bridal suite and groomsmen lounge were perfect for getting ready with our wedding party. The Davenport's beautiful beachfront view in addition to its elegant antique charm were elements with which we fell in love since our first visit. Our wedding at the Davenport Mansion was everything we had hoped for and more! From the initial planning through to the big day, Guy was incredible. He was patient, accommodating and supportive, if there was any detail we forgot - he took care of it. The day was absolutely flawless. There was a threat of bad weather for the ceremony time, but Guy and his team set and reset the ceremony placement from outside to inside and back without hesitation, to make sure that our ceremony would be exactly how we had envisioned it. He was there from start to finish, walking us through, and keeping all of our worries at ease. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but the food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. The cocktail hour was beyond amazing, and having the fresh mozzarella station was a huge hit!! We cannot thank Guy and his staff enough for helping to make our wedding day spectacular and memorable!

The Guy DeMeo is the best, hands down!. Once I sat with him and discussed what I had in mind for my wedding, I knew I had to look no further. He is so patient, and he offers beneficial ideas without being condescending. Any issue I had or fears were laid to rest. The venue is beautiful, and he allowed us to use his centrepieces free of cost. This gesture saved me a lot of money since I had didn't have to spend a lot on decorations. His assistant Jenny is accommodating and sweet. They really make you feel so at ease, even when you call half a dozen times to adjust your guest list.I found it so helpful that they schedule our tasting with another couple so that we were able to sample the other dishes that we had not chosen to be a part of the menu.Guy was beyond accommodating and made sure that I was at ease throughout the entire process.On the day of the wedding, everything went like clockwork, the staff was on point, and my bridal assistant was amazing. All my guest felt at ease, and they were all saying how down to earth, and approachable everyone was.My only hang-up was the cake vendors, but that was a small nuance compared to how well everything turned out.My wedding started on time, everything flowed nicely, and my guest and I had an amazing time. From the minute we walked in, my husband and i new this was going to be our venue and it exceeded all of our expectations. I was so apprehensive especially with COVID 19, but they are up to date with absolutely everything the CDC is puts out. The food from beginning to end was fantastic! I recently hosted my sister’s bridal shower at The Davenport and could not have asked for better service, food, or view! Guy and Jenny were phenomenal to work with from the start! You cannot ask for a better pair to assist you with your special occasions.The waitresses were so professional, helpful, friendly and constantly circulated the room making sure our guest were well taking care of the entire afternoon. The servers at the carving, omelet, and buffet stations could not been more organized and kept the lines organized and moving. Our menu consisted of an afternoon bunch and it far exceeded our expectations of quantity and quality. The presentation was impeccable and no guest left hungry. Creating a menu with Guy and listening to his suggestions made for a delicious Brunch with so many choices! As for the room, it doesn’t get better! A wall-to-wall view of the sound and their outdoor patio where our guests can enjoy and take pictures on a beautiful day adds to the rooms appeal! The place is just breathtaking. Between having to change dates and implement Covid protocols, Guy made us fully aware of what was needed and their organization the day of with “check-in” was smooth and professional. All safety measure were put in place and all of my guests felt safe. If you’re looking for a venue that will blow your guests away, the Davenport is the place to go! I have found a new “go-to” place for all of my special occasions. Thank you, Guy, Jenny, and Davenport staff for making my sister’s shower amazing!

I am still in amazement of how smoothly the day went, considering the current state of affairs, and it is all thanks to this incredible venue. The setting itself is stunning, with the Sound as the backdrop for our ceremony and let me tell you, *everyone* is still raving at how delicious the food was. The cocktail hour menu was out-of-this-world incredible! Guy and his crew add those special touches that put the flavors over the top for the main courses, as well. Five stars are not enough to capture the beauty of the Davenport Mansion. The venue itself is stunning inside and out, but the people are truly what sets it apart. We booked the Davenport prior to the pandemic and, like many other couples, we struggled to digest the continuously evolving regulations related to weddings through the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2020. Zitta, Guy and the entire Davenport team were incredibly accommodating to my husband and I, in constant communication (and reassurance as my nerves crept up throughout the year). Back in Fall 2019, they told my husband and I to think of them as an extension of our family and they were not kidding. I was floored by the care, support and execution of the entire Davenport team through this crazy year!! They are truly experts in the wedding industry and worked with us as we downsized from our original vision, while helping to maintain the aspects of the day that were important to us. At the end of the day, the wedding turned out to be BETTER than anything that I ever imagined, pandemic or not. We were served breakfast as we got ready in the morning, our guests were taken care of from the moment they walked in the door and we all had the time of our lives celebrating with our closest family and friends. If you are looking to plan your wedding in 2020, 2021 or beyond, then book the Davenport immediately and you will have the BEST team along for the ride. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

We just got married at the Davenport Mansion this past weekend. I couldn’t even wait past our honeymoon to write a glowing review of this place. Due to COVID our original venue was no longer opening. We had 2 months to plan a wedding and Guy and Zita made the process as easy as possible. They comforted us that we will still have the wedding of our dreams and, boy, did they deliver! My husband and I had the absolute time of our lives. The views from the ceremony were spectacular, the service was impeccable, and the food was AMAZING! Brides, I highly recommend not missing cocktail hour here. The food was well worth it. In summary we HIGHLY recommend this venue. You will have the best night ever.

I only have amazing things to say about the Davenport. Guy and his staff made our last minute wedding planning incredibky easy and flawless. Due to Covid 19, my husband and I had to reschedule our wedding 3 times! We reached out to the Davenport only 3 weeks before our big day and were able to book the micro wedding of our dreams! Guy took all of our concerns into account and made our family and friends feel comfortable, following all CDC guidelines. We were able to have a group of 50, all outside on such a beautiful night. I highly suggest the micro wedding package to any couples looking to book a wedding this year or next year. We enjoyed every minute of our wedding and have only had rave reviews from all of our guests who attended. The food, drinks, attentive wait staff, and view were all phenomenal. It was a breath of fresh air being able to flawlessly plan our wedding in 2 weeks, after a very stressful year! I have nothing but thanks and appreciation for all of the staff. LOOK NO FURTHER! BOOK THE DAVENPORT MANSION! My husband and I just got married here on Thursday, September 3, 2020 and it truly was magical! Guy and his team are the best in the business! My mom and I went to Guy and his team after the initial venue I booked for my wedding chose to remain closed. Guy lovingly took us in and and helped us plan a very prompt wedding at the Davenport Mansion. We met with Guy about 3-4 times before my wedding in a period of 2 weeks. Guy and his team made it their priority to give me the wedding of my dreams! I couldn't be more thankful! On my actual wedding day the Mansion was available to us very early in the day. The staff at the Mansion even provided food and drinks for our wedding party while we were getting ready. Guy's team also did a phenomenal job incorporating a few of my personal items around the Mansion for our special day (i.e. unity ceremony, pictures, etc); and did an even better job accommodating my vendors as they set up and picked up. During my ceremony, I felt like a princess as Guy and his staff instructed our wedding party and, then me, very carefully down the aisle. Even my flower girl and ring bearers (below the ages of 7) cooperated and felt very comfortable with the staff. During the cocktail hour, Guy also made sure our guests enjoyed their food while also assuring my husband and I signed all our legal forms and documents in their precious library. As for the reception, my guests have not stopped talking about how delicious the food was and how friendly the staff was. They truly went above and beyond! Even at the end of the night, Guy exceeded my expectation by working with my Godparents to surprise my husband and I with a pizza truck and pizza with personalized boxes (!!!!) for all of our guests to take home with them at the end of the night. Needless to say it was PERFECT! At the end of the night, Guy and his team also made sure I enjoyed the start of my marriage by handling my personal items and putting them away from me to pick up a few days later. IT WAS TRULY THE WEDDING OF MY DREAMS. This venue is truly something magical! And Guy and his staff are nothing but extraordinary! Especially during this difficult and uncertain time due to COVID-19. Guy and his team are very much understanding of these times and are permitting 50 people social weddings (as ordered by NYS law and as Guy calls it \"micro-weddings\"), and are following all state procedures including temperature checks, many hand sanitizer stations, tables socially distant from one another, and also having a strict rule requiring our guests to wear their masks at all times when their away from their assigned dining table. Servers also wore gloves and masks and remained a safe distance from the guests as they served. I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR GUY AND HIS TEAM MAKING MY DREAMS COME TRUE! THANK YOU! P.S. We love them so much that our friends who have also had trouble having their weddings elsewhere due to COVID-19 are now having them here; and we ourselves will be hosting my father's retirement party here. GUY, HIS TEAM, AND THE DAVENPORT MANSION ARE TRULY IS ONE OF A KIND!

Guy was super supportive, from the moment we booked our date to the final hour of our wedding. I was a little nervous before the ceremony, but was immediately put at ease once I saw Guy, as I knew we were in great hands. He guided the event step-by-step and he never missed a beat. Guy was exceptional and overall a great presence, making sure things were going above our expectations. Shout out to Zitta, thanks for all your help. Also, a huge shout out to Patrick, our bridal attendant. Thanks for making the ladies feel at ease and comfortable. The food was absolutely fantastic. Our guests are still raving about our cocktail hour and the reception saying how absolutely great the food was. I highly recommend this venue, guaranteed you will have a great time, great food and gorgeous views overlooking the water. Huge place for great social distancing. The ceremony was held outside on the terrace. The cocktail bar is adjacent to the terrace for cocktail hour. A HUGE ballroom to have your reception in, including a gorgeous presidential lounge. Branton and I searched for a wedding venue that would give us a personal touch, feel like a family home and provide us with the feeling of the Christmas season (already beautifully decorated). The Davenport is all of that and more! We were treated like family from the time we signed the contract to this day, weeks later. When we had to postpone, they were so understanding and made us feel comfortable and supported as we changed our date. Leading up to the wedding Zitta was on top of making sure we had our checklists in order, responding to emails and being in communication with me and my day of coordinator. Having the space for the day was ideal as my bridal party and I got to have a wonderful breakfast and get ready at our own pace with the team! The scenic view was spectacular for our photos and it was picturesque for the guests upon arrival. All of our guests raved at the hospitality of the venue and the beauty of the space. The service was superb throughout the night and guests mentioned stories of getting their requests met and personal service. Branton and I felt so special throughout that day, and we thank them so much for making us feel at home.

My husband and I recently had our wedding at the Davenport Mansion and it was the perfect day! We fell in love with the venue on our first visit. It had a great charm and cozy feel, and we knew that it was the perfect fit for us. We also loved the amazing views of the Long Island Sound, which was great for pictures. Guy and his staff took care of us from day one all the way through the wedding. Guy was always available via phone call or email to answer all of our questions and help us with the planning. He knew how much we cared about the food and helped us craft an amazing menu. Our wedding planning went so smoothly with his help.The staff was incredible on our wedding day! Zitta and Jenny were so sweet and caring. They took care of both bridal parties, and made sure that we had food, drinks, and everything that we needed. They made the entire time leading up to the ceremony stress free! Jared was our maitre'd and the reception ran smoothly because of all of the work that he did. He was always there when we needed him during the reception. Our bridal attendant Patrick was the best and took such good care of us. He made sure that we were able to eat dinner and dessert! After the wedding, he even packed us a few entrees to take home!The beautiful venue, all of the personal attention from the staff, and the food made the Davenport Mansion the perfect venue to have our wedding. All of our friends and family kept telling us the food was delicious, the venue was lovely, and the staff was attentive and professional. My husband and I can't thank Guy, Zitta, Jenny, Jared, Patrick, and the entire staff at the Davenport enough for all of the hard work they put into making our wedding day a dream come true!

Simply put, if you want a PERFECTLY AMAZING wedding, go to The Davenport Mansion. The Davenport Mansion is full of old world charm with carved mantles on the fireplaces, crown molding, and a large, dark wood bar. There is a lovely patio outside overlooking the Sound, the perfect place for pictures, a ceremony, and a cocktail hour. My daughter and her fiancé fell in love with the venue the moment they saw it. We quickly booked our date and worked with Guy to make some dreams come true. Guy is amazing to work with, and walked us all through the planning and food selections. His food suggestions were right on target and everything at the cocktail hour was absolutely delicious, from the passed hor devours to the hot food stations. Every entree was professionally served and perfectly prepared, and our guests with dietary restrictions were so impressed by their meals. And the desserts! Little pieces of heaven passed around on trays! The staff at The Davenport is wonderful, kind and thoughtful. Zitta and Jenny came by the suites often as we were getting ready to check on our needs and take care of things, from replenishing hot coffee and serving mimosas to cleaning spots on the wedding gown and cleaning shoes. These ladies are as lovely as can be and even took time to calm some pre-wedding nerves! Patrick was our bridal attendant, and my daughter couldn’t stop talking about how well he took care of her and her new husband. He even made sure they ate some of their dinner! Jared was our maitre’d and everything ran smoothly under his watch. He and Guy were there throughout the wedding, checking in with us and making sure there was nothing else we needed. Guy even brought me tea with honey when he heard I lost my voice. Everything for the day was taken care of, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Our entire experience, from our first visit to the venue to the food trucks at the end of the affair, was wonderful. Any wedding venue will be beautiful, but not many will give you and your guests the personal attention you will get at The Davenport. I could continue to rave about the venue and the staff, but you should really experience it yourself.

We had the most perfect wedding at an incredibly elegant venue. Even my hard-to-please-Devil-wears-Prada boss was raving about the impeccable service and excellent food! All the food was really, really great- from the champagne breakfast in the Bridal suite to the passed desserts at the end of the night, every detail was perfect. We choose to use the beach front for photos with the groom and I, and family photos in the stunning wood-paneled water room, and we are thrilled with the results.We could not feel more grateful for the attentive and professional staff at The Davenport Mansion.

Back in June, my fiance and I had the devastating news that our venue had filed for bankruptcy....leaving us stranded less than 3 months out and 10k in the hole (yes they kept our deposit). We went to multiple venues, desperately searching for anyone who could accommodate us since we couldn't change our date. We came across Davenport, and were immediately taken by Zitta's bright and positive personality. She showed us around, and then sat us down with Guy (owner) to go over numbers. After explaining our ridiculous scenario....they moved a club event to accommodate our wedding. When we explained our budget, they changed the cut of beef to bring down the price per person. When that wasn't enough, they even gave us more options to change and customize our cocktail hour (we eliminated a hot food station). Leading up to the event, Zitta was always available via text and phone. Answered all of my questions and was willing to change anything I asked. I can't even begin to explain how amazing it was to have someone so kind and attentive, and open to my vision and ideas. She spoke with all my vendors in person and on the phone, and coordinated everything. Our food testing was small and intimate, and really got to experience and give feedback on what we liked, or didn't like...and changed. The list of potential appetizers was insanely long so we had so many options to pick from.We were able to bring the MULTIPLE boxes of photos and props and candles and personal touches several days in advance as well, and Zitta graciously allowed us to leave it in a closet. The day of, we had access to the Davenport for the entire day. Like, we were there at 8:30 to start hair and makeup! We had the entire space to ourselves, and everyone had time to settle in and get ready. Zitta brought us amazing breakfast, quiche, croissants, fruits, coffee...anything we could possibly want. So SO attentive to anything we could even possibly want. For our event, our guests RAVED about the food. It was coming from every angle, and kept coming. My lovely attendant Patrick kept hot plates of food coming as I wandered around talking to guests. Our signature cocktails were perfect, and the outside patio was amazing. Most of our guests spent the entire time outside enjoying the views and the weather. During the dinner, the wait staff was great and everything went perfectly smooth and on time. No one was ever waiting for food, and the food was hot when it came. The bartender was amazing as well, and our guests loved the drinks. Honestly, we got nothing but AMAZING feedback and our guests had a great time, which was a important to us. We also had a good time and literally didn't have to worry about a single thing venue related. When the night was over, they again let us change upstairs and leave things to pick up on monday (wedding was saturday) which I deeply appreciated considering how tired we were. People were visibly tired, and still allowed us to stay and change before leaving which I appreciated since I was in a huge dress. I honestly cannot say enough kind words about the staff at Davenport, Zitta in particular. Guy was present throughout the event, and even offered to bring us drinks. He was flexible and able to work with our budget, which we can't thank him enough for after what initially happened to us. Thank you so much to Zitta, Guy and everyone for making our wedding an amazing and unforgettable day for us and our guests!

The Davenport stood out with their fantastic service from our first visit. It's a beautiful historic venue with incredible views, but we also received such personalized attention from Guy, Al and the entire staff. They were particularly attentive to allergies and dietary restrictions - a very important factor for our guests - and we received many comments from guests about how they felt taken care of throughout the evening. The food was abundant and delicious! We loved the menu options, especially for cocktail hour and the ice cream bar was a bit hit. We would recommend The Davenport to anyone without hesitation!

We are incredibly grateful for the Davenport team and their ability to turn our wedding day into a seamless celebration. There are so many aspects that they excelled in. First, the price point was great for us because it was all inclusive. A lot of venues have a la carte options that make you feel like you're spending a fortune or that you're skimping on a beautiful experience for your guests. The Davenport ensures that you can have everything you need on your wedding day at an affordable cost, and if you want to add additional services, they are incredibly collaborative. Second, the Davenport was able to flawlessly coordinate and work with the numerous third party vendors that we also had on site throughout the day (photographers, band, etc.) During and after the wedding, we received the largest comments about the food service at the Davenport and the view. Of course, being on the water, the view is incredible, but the beauty of the patio is that guests can enjoy the view during the cocktail hour and throughout the reception. The food was unbelievable. The number of options and stations provided (inclusive in the package we purchased) was delicious and impressive. Our guests were stuffed before the cocktail hour was over. The chef and his team were able to take our creative visions for a Brazilian and Chesapeake Bay food station and make it a reality. Our food tasting in the months before the wedding was a reflection of the service we would soon be provided. The presentation and professionalism of the entire service, particularly David - our attendant for the tasting and the wedding - was unparalleled. Guy, the executive director, was kind and thoughtful in providing his insight and suggestions based on his experience. Al had to attend a wedding the same day as ours in which he was a groomsman, and he showed up at 7 AM to let us in to get ready, made sure we had breakfast and coffee, helped steam the bride's dress and went above and beyond with decorations to ensure everything was in place before he left. We believe in our 5 star rating whole-heartedly, but our one suggestion for anyone working with the Davenport is that they are much more responsive over the phone and in person. We planned the wedding from Washington, DC, and made periodic trips to NY just to meet with Guy and his team. Emails, particularly lengthy and detailed ones, weren't responded to as clearly as we would have liked, but that boils down to the communication preferences of the bride and groom. Overall, we would highly recommend having an event at the Davenport, particularly a wedding reception. It will be incredible.

They accommodated several different dietary issues and were attentive to the Bridal party as well as our guests. Everything was perfect. Our wedding was on October 28th and we are so happy we decided to host it at the Davenport. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish! Mike and Guy were terrific during the planning process. They have so much experience and were able to answer all of our questions and offered great advice on everything from food selection, to vendors, tipping, timelines, and even bathroom baskets! And everyone on their wonderful staff made sure that on the day of the event everything ran smoothly, especially their coordinator and captain.Among the reasons we picked the Davenport was that we wanted to host our ceremony and reception at a single venue. We wanted to be the center of attention and wanted to feel like we had a ‘home’ for the day. It was the best decision we could made. Our bridal party was able to get ready at the venue (for an additional fee) and that made for a much less stressful day (and more beautiful pictures). The bride and groom suites were spacious and comfortable. And the gorgeous main room overlooking the Long Island Sound was large enough to accommodate a chuppah, our wedding party and all our guests. Our florist had the brilliant idea of placing our very tall table flower arrangements on the floor around the room, and as a result the ceremony looked like we held it in a garden!We also decided to do a first look and were able to take beautiful pictures on the terrace before our guests arrived. It had rained the day before, so we were a little hesitant to go down to the beach or out on the front lawn, but Mike and Guy assured us that they would have helped us set-up those shots if we had elected to do so. All our friends and family had a terrific time. There was so much delicious food available, and the staff was so accommodating. The layout of the mansion is also really suited to a large party. We decided for high tables in the bar room for our guests who wanted to stand around and mingle. And we setup the balcony area, with our guests who wanted to sit during the cocktail hour. All in all, there are plenty of areas to mingle, and we had plenty of room to set-up a photo booth that helped to entertain our guests. We had originally planned to do our formal photos in front of the gorgeous fireplace in the library, but it was so nice and private on the terrace that we decided on outdoor photos with a view of the water. If you are looking for beautiful pictures inside or out, you can’t go wrong, and have so many options. With that many guests in attendance (we had 186), something is bound to go wrong. One of our guests accidentally knocked over our huge flower arrangement during dinner. The staff moved in like a SWAT team and replaced the linens, the dishes, the silverware etc in minutes! In the blink of an eye, the party was back in full swing. We had a memorable and beautiful day at the mansion. We would love to do it again, maybe for our 25th anniversary!

BEST DAY EVER! My husband and I visited multiple venues prior to the Davenport Mansion. Each one was nice but there was nothing special about them that made us want to commit. We didn’t have a feeling nor did we have any visions of us celebrating at any of the other locations. That all changed when we walked into the Davenport Mansion. Between the original dark wood herringbone floors in the library to the cozy bar area and the beautiful fireplaces, we knew that we had found THE ONE. The Davenport is unlike the other stark white venues on the strip. The decor is rich and unique with a timeless charm. There is a comfort you feel in the space that you don’t get anywhere else. Not only did the building give us the “warm and fuzzies” but the staff did as well. I cannot say enough about Guy and Al. They were INCREDIBLE and made the planning process seem like a breeze because they were so communicative, detail oriented and just pleasant to work with. They had many preferred vendors which we used. Their recommendations were spot on. Each vendor was more impressive than the last and they worked so well with the Davenport that they were a well-oiled machine. The DJ, photographer and DM staff all knew what they needed to do and they made sure that our day went smoothly. Guy and Al were both by our sides all night refilling our drinks and keeping the smiles on our faces. The only issue that we had the entire night was that a party bus got into an accident down the street from the Davenport and blocked all the traffic coming in. My guests were arriving much later than expected so Guy (the amazing owner that he is) decided to extend the cocktail hour so our guests had time get in and enjoy the wonderful spread that we had created. Now to the most important part…the food. Our food put every other wedding we’ve been to to shame. We now have running jokes with our friends that we’re just going to go back every weekend and crash someone elses wedding so we can eat there again. My picky friends and family just raved about everything from start to finish. The steaks were HUGE and my vegetarians LOVED their entrees. I did not see one person leave hungry. Overall, if I had to do it all over again, I would pick the Davenport Mansion. Every promise was met. Every detail taken care of. They are the best and I would recommend them to everyone.

Choosing to have our wedding at the Davenport Mansion was the best decision we made for the wedding! from the moment we stepped into the venue for our initial tour, Michael made us feel like family and we knew this was going to be our place. From then on until the day, the whole team was so supportive, easy to work with and had creative ideas for our wedding to make it stand out including a food truck for post wedding food, fun & different drinks, and waffle sundae bar! Every time we went to the Davenport during the planning, our nerves were always put at ease as we knew Michael and all the staff were there to make our day amazing. On the day, they did not disappoint, in fact they went so above and beyond it was an unforgettable day & experience. We couldn't have asked for a better staff to help us on the day, we knew everything was taken care of. Al (Maître D') & Brandon (bridal attendant) were amazing and were there for us from the moment we got there in the morning to get ready, until the next day! Michael was right there to make sure everything was running on time and making sure everything was perfect! The cocktail hour was the best cocktail hour I have ever been to! Not only was there so much food but every single thing was delicious! The mozzarella man was one of the best parts of cocktail hour and we are so happy Michael told us about him! Our guests are still talking about him and how amazing the mozzarella was! For the salad we had a wedge caesar salad which was so different and really good. The pasta course was pesto gnocchi and it was the best gnocchi I have ever had, the dinner choices were scottish salmon, filet mignon & roasted stuffed chicken and all were unbelievable ! All of the food was of such amazing quality & so delicious! The chef, Angel, is extremely talented! Our guests continue to talk about the amazing food! Guy, the owner, was there for most of the wedding talking with guests and making sure everyone was having a great time. All of the staff, waiters & waitresses really added to the day making sure all the guests were taken care of! Al continued to make sure the night went off without a hitch and definitely made sure we ate during the night! If we could do it all over again, it wouldn't even be a question that we would have it at the Davenport! Our pictures on the beach are some of my favorites and Michael was out there with the photographer taking pictures of his own and helping the photographer get the perfect shot! We had the best day ever and the Davenport was such a huge part of it! Thank you so much to Michael, Guy, Al, Brandon & all of the staff for giving us the best day ever!!

My husband and I got married at the Davenport Mansion last weekend and, I know it’s a cliche, but it was the best day of my entire life. I cannot emphasize enough that the staff was there for every single part of our planning process. My husband and I were excited to get married but we didn’t have a clear vision. We saw a few venues, and were about to give in, truly thinking that we would never find a place that understood us as people. This proved to be a fallacy, when we saw The Davenport, we instantly knew that we loved it. This was our venue. Michael helped us create our wedding vision. Michael made us feel at ease from our first meeting, through text, through call, through email -- he really gets it. They are also a team- Guy leads it quite well, but Al is the TRUE HERO- he does a beautiful job, and you could tell that he has experience and does everything for a purpose because he truly cares that everything goes as planned. I cannot emphasize enough that these guys were true professionals, my bridal party had never met them and instantly fell in love with how attentive and understanding they were to our every need. The Davenport Mansion is beautiful, the food is delicious, the people are experts, and the guests will talk about it for months. I cannot give this place enough stars - five is insufficient. Get married here, you will not regret it.

I had my wedding reception last night at the Davenport. I was originally recommended from a friend to speak to Mike Burbage, who raved about him. From when my husband and I had our initial meeting with Mike, he had us sold on the venue. He saw our vision and new exactly what we wanted. As we went on with the plans, he went along with all of our crazy ideas and even threw some out of his own! Mike made our planning a piece of cake. He gave us vendors that he highly recommend and one couldn't have been nicer than the other.We used every single vendor he recommended. They were all awesome to work with and we had such an amazing time. We truly thank Mike and his team for all their hard work and making our special night so truly amazing!

Our wedding day was amazing! Michael, Guy and our Maitre D' did a fantastic job at making our day great. The food was great, the drinks were great, we knew everything that was going on and my bridal attendant was there to assist the entire time. My guest had an amazing time, and everything went smoothly. I suggest completing a food tasting before booking, we weren't able to until about two weeks before our wedding, which was stressful.

My fiancé and I spent a year searching for the perfect venue for our September wedding. We wanted an elegant yet home like atmosphere. With that feeling as if we were in our back yard, but there was one catch it had to be by the water. I happen to be on the Knot one night. Just by chance I click on Devonport Mansion on the Sound; it was just what we were looking for it was perfect and they only do one wedding at a time. I emailed the venue at 2am in the morning requesting a viewing. I immediately received a response back it was Michael asking when would we be available to see the venue. When we arrived at Mansion and saw the view, it was to die for simply breath taking. We were treated like family, Guy the owner he is such a professional, and a very down to earth individual, the entire staff was warm and welcoming. Even the chief came out and greeted us his name is also Michael. Each time we visited the venue he would have the most delicious exquisite food for us to taste. Our guests are still talking about our cocktail hour, saying that the food was absolutely amazing. The venue looked stunning and the service was fantastic. Michael and his team catered to our every need my bridal attendant David was amazing, our guests were literally spoiled the entire night. Our family and friends are calling our wedding the wedding of the year. We can't thank you enough for an exceptional night it was everything that we dream of, 5 Stars all the way we wish we could give 10.

On October 6, 2018 we celebrated the marriage of our daughter and son-in-law at Davenport Mansion on the Sound. The venue, food, service and location was everything we hoped for and more. We began searching for wedding venues on Long Island where we live but the bride and groom wanted something unique and luckily found the Davenport Mansion listed on the Knot. It seemed to meet all their wishes; and since the couple live out of state we made an appointment with Michael to see the venue.Upon our first visit, we immediately fell in love with the Davenport’s charm and waterfront location. We knew this elegant restored mansion, with its beautiful patio overlooking the Long Island Sound would make an exquisite backdrop for the outdoor ceremony. We also loved the elegant ballroom to host dinner, and dance the night away. Michael and Guy guided us throughout the year advising, recommending, and assuring us our daughter’s wedding would be memorable. Boy, were they right! They were low pressure and completely understanding of what our needs were. Their attention to detail from the display of food served during cocktail hour through dinner and dessert was unsurpassable. From delicious sushi and fresh mozzarella (you have to check out the Mozzarella Man), delicious dinner choices, to delectable deserts, our guests all raved about the outstanding and plentiful food and drinks from beginning to end. Since they only have one wedding a day, almost unheard of in the catering business, they allow the bridal party use of the venue to get ready and take photos all day. They also provided a feast to the bridal party while getting ready for the big event! We cannot recommend the Davenport Mansion enough! Our sincere thank you to Michael and Guy for helping our children have the wedding of their dreams.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Davenport Mansion this past weekend October 7th, 2018. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Guy, Michael and the staff from the very beginning. We started the daunting task of finding a wedding venue that met all of our needs but most importantly felt like home and less like a well-oiled wedding machine. Pumping out carbon copy weddings while crushing your creative dreams. Davenport did NOT do that at all. They felt like family as soon as we entered their doors. We brainstormed on how to accomplish our Victorian brunch wedding. I was able to sit with Guy the owner and discuss my vision for food and how we envisioned the day to go. Michael provided a no pressure, open door space where we could talk to him about anything through-out the process. We visited several times to go over details and meet with Chef Angel on menu items. He even prepared vegan options for some of our guests, actual food not just salad and some french fries. I think our frequent visits were secretly to see Jenny (the bartender) so we can taste her drinks. Jenny helped us come up with our specialty cocktails that were a hit!! Our wedding attendant David was an angel from heaven who not only helped me every step of the way but kept my mom happy with some bacon at 7:30 am. David was attentive to my husband in his suite as well. He was the many with many hats through out the day. All in all, we couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect day. We had our son's wedding at The Davenport on Saturday evening, September 22, 2018. It was the culmination of an effort that began in June, 2017. We are fussy people and have to say that the entire process went perfectly in every way. Michael, Guy and the Davenport staff at all levels did everything they needed to do and tended to the smallest details to ensure that this was a perfect and memorable affair! This is a lovely old mansion on a hill overlooking beautiful Long Island Sound. The view was magnificent. The food choices and quality were superb and it was difficult to make the final selections. To say that the Davenport has some of the finest chefs in the world would be an understatement! We had the facility the entire day and evening of the wedding. Michael, Guy and the staff were there to make sure everything went smoothly. The bridal party and the groomsmen had their own rooms upstairs for the day in which to change and hang out along with their attendants as well. Michael and Guy stayed on top of things the whole time and were always available if needed. Long story short, you could not possibly ask for more! Clearly, the Davenport should be strongly considered if you are planning a wedding outside of NYC......................as an aside, if you meet Michael ask him about \"Joe the Mozzarella Guy\". He is available for weddings at The Davenport but you must book him well in advance. You will not be sorry!!

Michael, Guy and the rest of the staff at Davenport Mansion made our wedding unforgettable. From the moment we saw the venue, they were so attentive to all our needs. Michael was always only just a text or email away from answering any question we had.The view at Davenport Mansion is incredible. Overlooking the water right by the beach is one of the best ways to have your wedding.The food was absolutely incredible. There was so much to choose from. Sliders, tacos, craft beer, anything you can imagine, they can make. Everyone was raving about the food.The staff was also very easy to accommodate our vendors. We had a photographer, band and videographer and Michael made sure that everything fit together. We couldn't have made a better selection in our venue, we hope we get invited to a wedding at the mansion so we can experience it again.

My husband and I fell in love with the Davenport from the very first minute we pulled up to the venue. The mansion is beautiful and the grounds are even more amazing. We were nervous to have our wedding here because we had invited 200 plus guests. Michael, the manager, assured us that we were in great hands and we would be okay- and boy was he right! We had more than enough room to fill the dance floor, eat dinner, and enjoy all of our guests! Michael was absolutely amazing to work with. His personality is so nice and he is on top of everything. Our wedding day ran so smoothly from beginning to end. The staff was also amazing! The bridal attendant Jasmine was such a sweetheart and was so helpful! Not only was she there for my 14 bridesmaids but she never left my side and made me feel amazing. My husband and I received so many compliments on the food as well. The chef Angel really did an amazing job on the menu! He truly brought our visions to life and our wedding really felt like it was us. Mike at the Davenport is amazing.... there is no better!!! He makes sure every detail is up to the bride and grooms expectations!!! He thinks of things even my extensive list missed.... you would think it was his wedding!! Service was perfect and the food was great!! I would highly recommend the Davenport to any bride or for any occassion.

My husband and I had our daughter’s wedding at the Davenport Mansion on 8/18/18 and it was spectacular! We are rating the Davenport 5 stars for excellence. Michael, Guy, Al, and the chief made the whole evening exceptional.Michael was very easy to work with from the start, truly listened to my daughter’s concerns, and was flexible with our needs. He even drove my daughter and her husband down to the waterfront to have photos because of the potential of impending rain. All our guests commented on the wonderful service, how attentive the staff was, and the great food. We want to thank Michael and the whole staff at Davenport for a wonderful wedding venue. We feel our daughter said it best, “Thanks Mom and Dad for my dream wedding.”

My wedding of 120 people was this past Saturday, August 11. I am SO glad we chose the Davenport as everything was executed to perfection. From the moment walking in last fall, we just felt like this would be the perfect place to host our celebration with friends and family. We worked with Michael who was super responsive, helpful, and had great attention to detail. My husband and I, parents, and guests all raved about how wonderful the food was, and what excellent service the Davenport had. I can’t wait to come back as a guest to enjoy the day there again. Thank you to the head chef, Jasmine our bridal attendant, Michael, and all of the other folks who played such an important part in our special day. I highly recommend the Davenport to anyone looking to book any type of a celebration here!

Our wedding was last night at the Davenport mansion and it was the most incredible nights ever. Everyone of our guests from teens to people in their 90’s are raving about how it was “ the best wedding they have ever been to “ From the first time we met Mike we knew that he would make our day everything we dreamed of and more. He was always prompt, honest , professional and attentive to our requests. Planning our wedding with Mike was smooth and stress free. Everyone of the staff at Davenport were stellar. They went out of their way to accommodate our guests , were professional and anticipated needs before being asked. My husband and I are huge foodies and had high expectations for our food and Davenport exceeded them. They worked with us to build a custom menu that portrayed who we are as a couple. The martini bar, the handmade mozzarella and end of the night food truck were added bonuses to an already amazing event. The quality of the food, the excellent staff, the exceptional venue , breath taking views and knowing that our guests had such a fabulous night made our wedding day perfect. Davenport mansion provided us with everything we could have asked for and more and didn’t break the bank!!!!! Thank you Mike and everyone at the Davenport mansion!

My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Davenport this past weekend and what an amazing day it was!! Michael, Guy, Albert, David and Chef made our vision a reality. During our consultations prior to the wedding the team listened to what we were looking for and collaborated with us to customize our day. It wasn't just pick some appetizers, a salad, and 3 entrees. They really took the time to come up with offerings that would make our day special. As we entered the front door I immediately could see that every detail was executedFrom the ambiance to the food and drinks everything was exactly as we discussed and even exceeded our expectations. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and signature drinks. Favorites included lamb chops, sliders with goat cheese and the branzino. The watermelon margaritas were a huge hit on a hot summer day. The staff was fantastic and attended to all our guests' needs. David, our bridal attendant, went above and beyond bringing us drinks on the beach as we took photographs. He ensured we had everything we needed throughout the night. It truly felt like a fairy tale and I cannot thank everyone at the Davenport enough.

I wouldn’t give this place less than five stars!! I would definitely say that The Davenport Mansion on the Sound allowed me and my wife Angelica to have the wedding of our dreams. We were looking for a venue with a great view and an intimate setting. Michael took time to plan everything, including small details, he was very flexible with his schedule considering that we live in NJ. We are still receiving compliments from our guests on how attentive the staff was, the food and the scenery. But the number one compliment from our guests is how great the food was, from the appetizers, to the main course and deserts. They really hit it on the head. What a great night, so memorable. Thank you everyone for your work during every second! 1000% recommended for anyone’s special day.

I would like to thank the Davenport Staff for making our wedding day extra special. Guy and Mike left no stone unturned to help us by customizing our wedding needs. On the day of the wedding everything was organized and it was much more than we expected. Not to mention the waterfront views and the food...everything was great!!!

We really couldn't have asked for a better venue. The mansion is beautiful, the view is perfect, the food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly helpful and supportive. Guy (the owner), is one of the most genuinely caring people I've ever met, and took care of us from day one. I really can't speak highly enough of the experience we had here, and would recommend this venue to anyone.

The Davenport Mansion allowed me to have the wedding of my dreams. Between the beautiful beachfront ceremony to the amazing food my wedding day was perfect. From the moment my husband and I walked into the mansion we knew that this was the place the homey and comfortable feeling while still being beautiful and elegant was the perfect balance I was looking for. Michael, Guy, Albert, Brandon and the whole crew were fantastic from day one until the wedding day. They really allowed us to make the mansion our own on our wedding day. The bridal party was fed as we got ready at the Davenport before the ceremony began. As the night went on everything went on without a hitch! I also have to give a special shout out to Chef Michael. My guests are still talking about how amazing ALL of the food was from when they first walked in to our favors on the way out. If I had to do it all again I would 100% go back to the Davenport Mansion without a second thought. I cannot wait to be invited to a party there as a guest! Thank you for everyone there for really making our day special and absolute bliss!
