Here, an 8,000-square-foot estate sits on 10 acres of lushly landscaped grounds and offers a romantic backdrop for your milestone day. A charming footbridge resting over a rolling stream and a koi pond with a weeping willow tree offer breathtaking backdrops of beauty. The Dempsey Event Center can host between 70 and 225 guests. Start your day in one of two elegantly appointed ready rooms. The mansion is equipped with an elevator and handicap-able accessible ramps and restroom. Cocktail receptions are held on the outdoor patio or in the atrium which is an octagonal shaped building with doors opening on all sides.Celebrate in high style. A team of event professionals at The Dempsey Event Center pay close attention to every little detail to help your festivities run smoothly. The staff is led by Lisa Y. Ferraro, an industry professional with thousands of events under her belt, as well as 25 years of experience. She understands that no two weddings are alike and loves being able to work with couples to help them make their dream day a reality. There is a selection of packages for you to choose from to help streamline the planning process, with features that include valet parking and various rentals. A licensed officiant can also be arranged, alongside floral design and wedding cake, a list of preferred caterers, and flexibility to include your favorite caterer.

We just booked our wedding at The Dempsey Event Center for 09.14.2024 and are thrilled! The property is absolutely gorgeous and offers numerous spaces for guests to enjoy, and since your wedding is the only event at The Dempsey for the day (The Dempsey does not book multiple events in one day), you get to chose what to do in each of its many spaces. Also, the get-ready rooms are absolutely STUNNING. Lisa, the on-site wedding coordinator/manager, is fantastic. She has timely answered all of our questions and provided us with recommendations for hotels, catering, and alcohol. She has truly eased the burden of wedding planning! My fiancé and I look forward to continuing to work with The Dempsey as our wedding day approaches!

The Dempsey Event Center is an absolutely gorgeous venue inside and out! You can't capture the beauty with just one photo because it is such a large property with so many different spaces for all kinds of events!I'm a DJ and musician that has worked at the Dempsey, and I've had a fantastic experience with the friendly staff and the way they do weddings. Lisa, the venue manager, is very experienced and genuinely cares that her clients are happy. Right now, it's kind of a hidden gem, but I'm confident this will soon be one of the most popular private event spaces in the Columbus area, so don't wait to book!

This is the perfect location for any type of event. They hosted my daughters graduation party, and it was absolutely amazing. Lisa and staff went above and beyond to make the day so special. We brought in our own food, and they helped keep everything warm and available for the guests. Lisa provided many suggestions for decorations, room set up and arrangements that created the best atmosphere. Guests were so impressed with the venue and staff. It is a hidden gem. I cannot wait to hold my son’s graduation event there in two years. Hands down the BEST venue in central Ohio!!!

We loved the Dempsey Event Center for our wedding venue of choice! The estate is a fairytale, I felt like we were hosting our dream destination wedding. The mansion is timeless, classy, and full of zest. Lisa is an incredible asset to the Dempsey, she helped us every step of the way and answered all questions we had. I highly recommend the Dempsey as your venue of choice or to host your bridal showers! I cannot wait to attend my best friends wedding next June hosted at the Dempsey!!

We held my daughter's bridal shower at the Dempsey Event Center and absolutely are so pleased with the outcome. The property is gorgeous and Lisa was so helpful and accommodating in preparing for the event.Our guests could not say enough nice things about the beauty of the property as we moved from the Patio to the Sanctuary and then to the Grand Hall. The charm of the facility provides a beautiful \"fairy tale\" setting for any event. I would highly recommend anyone to look at this option. You will not be disappointed.

Hosted a beautiful bridal shower here. The venue was perfect, everyone commented what a great place. The natural lighting on a beautiful day was amazing. We brought in our own food and drink and it worked out perfect. Lisa is great a couldn't have made it easier.

Let me just start off by saying, wow! This place is truly magical. My fiancé and I visited this gorgeous venue and instantly fell in love. I had chills the whole time because I knew this was the place. Lisa is very sweet and willing to work with what fits YOU and your family/friends. If you’re looking for your typical set pricing packages, this isn’t it. You have to meet with Lisa to figure out what you want and don’t want. She is willing to make adjustments to better suit you and your fiancé’s dream wedding. We are getting married here in 2024, and we CAN NOT WAIT. It is truly one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever seen. There is real magic in this place.
