The Dominion Club has built a solid reputation as being the Wedding Capital of the West End and has been inducted into The Knot Hall of Fame. Having hosted nearly 400 weddings in just the last five years, our fine-tuned banquet team will ensure that your ceremony and reception is a seamless success. We had an AMAZING experience with the Dominion Club. From the initial tour to our big day, everything was organized and detailed. The space was incredible, the staff was so friendly and efficient, and the food was absolutely delicious. (Yes, we actually ate at our wedding, and the staff made sure we did!) The ceremony space is stunning, loved the outside cocktail hour space, and that beautiful rotunda is perfect. The dance floor fits TONS of people, plus a band! We loved making our entrances into the reception on the grand staircase, it felt like something out of a movie. Definitely hop into the golf cart and take pictures at the gazebo, it's so worth it! Hope and Emily were fantastic to work with, and made sure everyone was taken care of from the moment we walked in on our wedding day, to our exit. The whole staff was calming, kind, and organized. I can’t recommend the Dominion Club enough!

Sara and Ellen were so great to work with! They made the planning process very easy and catered to our many requests. The food and staff at TDC were excellent! They had a lot of food and drink package options that were reasonably priced. We highly recommend the crab cakes! Our guests loved the venue and we have received a lot of compliments.

My daughter was married on June 26th and it was the perfect day. The weather was beautiful for the outside ceremony and cocktail hour. The tables were perfectly set as we had requested. Sara the coordinator on site was amazing paying close attention to every detail from 8 that morning to 11 that night. She made sure my daughter’s dress was properly bustled to making sure my dad had only chicken instead of chicken and steak for his meal to everything running on the schedule we had planned. The venue which is newly renovated is stunning. Our guest could not say enough good things about the venue, the service and the food. I can’t say enough about Sara and her staff. As the mom of the bride, I can’t think of one thing I would change or improve on. To top it off there was a beautiful rainbow that evening.

Getting married during COVID was the most stressful experience, but Ellen and Sara the coordinators at Dominion, did everything they could to put our minds at ease and make sure everything went smoothly. It was clear a month before my son’s wedding, the wedding coordinator was overwhelmed. A few weeks leading up to the wedding, it was obvious she was unqualified to do her job. The day of the wedding, she went out of her way in an effort to aggravate, and ruin my day. My son & daughter-in-law’s wedding was beautiful. A true celebration of their love for each other and the love between two families. You could say, “the wedding coordinator failed,” in many ways.

I found these venue early, and my husband and I fell in love with it We had to postpone because of the pandemic, but it was smooth and easy. They have alot of offer and prices are reasonable. I was an out-of-state bride, and it was easy for me to plan a wedding there. They offer alot, including linens, simple flowers, and an organizer for you a few months before your wedding. My guests loved it. The views are incredible. I felt like I just showed up and got married. Everything was awesome and incredible. Highlty recommend

Liza and Phyllis were absolutely amazing! I sent Liza so many emails the 2 months before the wedding and she always responded quickly and did a great job making sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding even with the off and on rain. I can not say enough great things about the two of them and the venue itself. Liza and Phyllis were absolutely amazing! We got married at the Dominion Club this past December and everything was perfect. What we loved most about the Club was everything that they had available for us to use - it truly is an all inclusive venue! We initially had the idea of getting married outside (I know, sounds crazy for a December wedding) but due to rain moved the ceremony inside. At first I was a little nervous to do the ceremony inside because it wasn't what I had envisioned initially, but it was perfect! All of our guests got a fantastic view of the ceremony, and everyone raved about how intimate it felt! The food was absolutely delicious - we are still getting compliments on it! Liza and Phyllis were fantastic to work with. Before the wedding, they were both involved in the entire planning process and were always very prompt with communication. The day of the wedding, they made sure that everything that we wanted or needed was taken care of and made sure that the entire night ran smoothly. They made a great team and whenever I needed something Liza or Phyllis was there! Our wedding was absolutely everything we envisioned it to be and owe it all to the Dominion Club and their fantastic staff!

The Dominion Club was the first venue I looked at and the last. I booked them and knew it was the perfect venue without even going to see the other venues I had planned on visiting! Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, inside and outside, but it is a one-stop-shop, which took away the stress of finding additional vendors and all the costly wedding décor. They even supply sparklers for the send off! I loved how you could have the ceremony inside or outside, which also took the stress away of potential bad weather. Not only is it gorgeous and they supply almost everything, but the food was incredible as well. I am still getting compliments on it! Phyllis and Liza are the event coordinators there and I cannot say enough good things about the both of them! They were both involved in the whole planning process and were both there the day of the wedding to make sure everything was perfect and running smoothly. They were in constant communication with us and allowed us to visit the venue whenever we wanted. TDC exceeded our expectations and made our wedding a night we will never forget. I highly recommend booking with them! You will not regret it!

My mind was totally changed when we visited for the first time! TDC is beautiful, elegant, and not stuffy like I imagine a country club might be. The space is perfect for an indoor/outdoor wedding. We were blessed with great weather, so we were able to get married outside and have the reception inside (which is what I wanted before even getting engaged!). We had the bar on the patio, which made TDC feel even more spacious. The wedding coordinator we originally worked with left a few months before our wedding, so we were slightly worried when we heard about that, but we shouldn't have given it a second thought because Liza and Phyllis are amazing. They are a great team and between the two of them, we had everything we ever wanted on our special day. Last but not least, the food was AMAZING! Our guests are still talking about how delicious it was. Thank you, TDC, for making our day everything we wanted it to be!

The card basket at my cousin's wedding was stolen by a staff member. It took the couple over a month of calls, emails, and panic to find out which of their 150 guests wrote checks or gave cash. It took even longer for them to be reimbursed by the club. Though it was a gorgeous, well organized event, this was not worth having to call all of one's guests to ask about how much money they may or may not have given to the new couple.

My favorite thing about my wedding was that TDC was a one stop shop. I loved that all of the catering, tables, linens, some décor was included in the package, and a day of coordinator and bridal attendant. Jamie was a tremendous help leading up to our day and Jeremy and Amanda were on top of it! Our day ran smooth thanks to everyone! I will never forget the staff that helped make our day so special. We really wanted a cigar bar for sentimental reasons. Jamie created the most amazing display with old oak barrels and antique shutters. You can tell he really cares about his clients. My guests said this was the best wedding they had ever been to. The dinner service was top notch and the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. At other weddings, cocktail hour doesn't typically provide that much food. The staff kept coming out with a variety of food to keep our guest full and happy. I chose TDC because of the package deal and beautiful scenery. The ceremony location was gorgeous with the lake as the back drop. When looking for a venue we wanted to have everything in separate areas instead of one large room that we would have to flip for ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner. I LOVED how everything had a designated space. Cocktail hour had it's own location on the upstairs rotunda with large windows and balconies for guests to take in the beautiful landscaping. Then they all headed downstairs for dinner and dancing. Everything was perfect! The food was delicious (our guests are STILL talking about it) having a coordinator on site to help the day run smoothly was key. The staff was accommodating to all of our guests and kept dinner service flowing quickly. Jamie was wonderful and helped so much! He was easy to work with, help with any questions I had and was quick to respond to emails. I can't say enough great things about TDC!!

It's hard to believe over a month ago my daughter and new son in law were married at The Dominion Club! I want to thank the staff for the very professional customer support services provided to my daughter and I from the beginning of her wedding planning to the day she said \"I DO.\" We are very grateful for your patience and the time your staff took to meet with us and addressing what seemed to be endless questions we had from the beginning to end. Throughout all the planning meetings, including one where we shared ideas to bring personal items to make our event special, we thank you for never saying no to our ideas; instead you listening and helped us make my daughter's day special. The staff handled everything during the day into night and was AWESOME which made the day very memorable. You guys ROCK!!!

It's hard to believe over a month ago my daughter and new son in law were married at The Dominion Club! I want to thank the staff for the very professional customer support services provided to my daughter and I from the beginning of her wedding planning to the day she said \"I DO.\" We are very grateful for your patience and the time your staff took to meet with us and addressing what seemed to be endless questions we had from the beginning to end. Throughout all the planning meetings, including one where we shared ideas to bring personal items to make our event special, we thank you for never saying no to our ideas; instead you listening and helped us make my daughter's day special. The staff handled everything during the day into night and was AWESOME which made the day very memorable. You guys ROCK!!!

I had my wedding here on September 3, 2017 and it was the best decision to use TDC as my venue! I really loved the fact that it is a \"one-stop shop\" as far as having a venue that is pretty much all inclusive. They have a variety of decor, lighting, monogram/personalize wall or dance floor light features, sparkler send-off, Bridal party suite...the list goes on. I worked with Davis and Jamie and they were always responsive to my weekly (sometimes daily emails). They deliver a 5-star experience from tasting to wedding. My guests LOVED the food (as did my husband and I) I appreciated that there were options with regard to where the ceremony could be held. The landscape is gorgeous and you will not be lacking options for photo backdrops! TDC was very accommodating to my needs/wants and any issue that came up they were responsive to it. Overall, I loved having my wedding at TDC and my guests thought it was flawless!

I am utterly disgusted with the level of service that I have received from Dominion Club. I stared this process in January 2017 with a tour from Davis Walker. I fell in love with the facilities, it was absolutely gorgeous. Davis listened to my vision about my perfect day and gave me ideas on how to deliver. I was excited because she was so excited to deliver a quality product on my big day. We chose Dominion Club because it was all inclusive, the rentals, decor, food, planners and even a coordinator. I could relax and let them take care of everything. No stress on my part because Dominion Club would handle everything. In May, I discovered Davis had taken a new position in another state and Jamie would be taking care of our needs. This was in May. Jamie assured me he would deliver my dream wedding not to worry because everything would be taken care of. He said he could put together a wedding in thirty days, not to worry. Fast forward to present, my wedding is three weeks away and I finally met with Jamie on Thursday to see what my options were for setup and decorations. He showed four different linen colors, he pulled out a birdcage, a tree, and some globes. He was nice enough to put the tablecloth and a runner down to show me what it would look in the colors I chose. In choosing menu cards I was told the cards I wanted was extra. Everything that looked decent had an extra charge or fee associated. I'm spending $20k on a wedding and I am made to feel like I am low budget because I'm not buddy buying. Jamie politely folded the linens and put his things away signifying that he was done with us for the evening. I felt so disrespected! I feel like I'm just a name with a number of guest in this plug n play establishment. This was not what I signed up for. I signed a contract thinking my wedding would be planned, coordinated and orchestrated with me, being the bride, in mind. I expected to have conversations and be guided by the planner, him sharing his knowledge and expertise to plan my big day. I haven't received any of that. I have expressed my disappointment with Jamie but he seems unbothered by my concerns. I strongly feel I am not getting the level of service that I deserve because I didn't buy in to the \"buddy buys\" (up sales) so I just get the less than basic service. I'm so disgusted with the limited \"all inclusive \" options and the fact that my big day will be filled with polyester knits. I just was to cry my eyes out.

We are so thrilled we picked the Dominon Club for our wedding! We do not have a single bad thing to say about our entire experience: from the minute we met Davis for a consult, up until the sparkler farewell to cap off our big day! Their team made the wedding planning process and the event itself seamless, stress-free and perfect. They took care of all of the details and helped execute our vision for a perfect day. The venue is gorgeous. We held our ceremony outside overlooking water- the perfect view. The reception space indoors was perfect for our wedding of 110 people. The food was delicious! and the options for cocktail hour/dinner were plentiful- there is something for everyone. The bartending and event staff were professional, courteous and attentive. Davis, Caroline and the entire staff truly deserve the highest of praise. They took care of every detail, both large and small. The tablescapes, decor, ceremony decorations, photo booth.....everything was handled for us. The Dominion Club provided a memorable, elegant, fun, flawless wedding at a superb value. We have no reservations recommending this venue to anyone!!!!

Overall our wedding was amazing! The Dominion Club had everything we needed and the staff put together a perfect wedding. The landscaping couldn't have been better. The food was unbelievable (we've gotten A LOT of compliments on it). The wedding was planned, organized, set up, and run with professionalism, genuine care, and execution excellence. She sincerely cared, had great insight and advice, planned and executed perfectly, and made the wedding feel very personalized. She is very knowledgeable and that knowledge translated into a well put together and expertly coordinated rehearsal and wedding. \rCaroline - All the same feedback for Caroline. Overall our wedding was amazing! The Dominion Club had everything we needed and the staff put together a perfect wedding. The landscaping couldn't have been better. The food was unbelievable (we've gotten A LOT of compliments on it). The wedding was planned, organized, set up, and run with professionalism, genuine care, and execution excellence. We had our wedding here. It was the best experience! The food was smashing amazing, staff was above and beyond, the coordinator was fabulous! Our guests all complimented on how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful the event was. I can't imagine it ending any other way. I highly recommend this as a wedding venue!! First of all, I would like to thank Davis, Jamie, Caroline, and The Dominion Club for their awesome service. The Dominion Club was the first venue on our list. After merely driving up to the club entrance, we knew this was our venue. We didn’t bother looking at any others. The view was spectacular! On our first visit to The Dominion Club, our event coordinator Davis Walker promised that we would have the wedding of our dreams. Davis and The Dominion Club fulfilled that promise in every way. Our guests are still talking about our absolutely perfect wedding almost two months later. Davis truly made us feel as if we were her most important couple. She was always available to us via text, email, or phone in between our scheduled visits. Working with Davis alleviated much of our stressduring the planning phase and eliminated the need for us to hire a wedding planner. Davis assisted us with selecting our decorum, our entire menu selections, and creating our day of timeline. She even created our table centerpieces herself. Our ceremony and reception setup were far better than what I imagined it would be. The food was delicious. Davis and her team went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect. I cannot thank them enough for making our dream wedding a reality.

We just wanted to write and thank the TDC team so very, very much for helping to make our wedding day at The Dominion Club so amazing. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we all felt so relaxed and comfortable, knowing that every small detail was taken care of. The ceremony and the taking of our vows is an occasion which will stay with me forever, when the doors opened for my entrance and I saw my husband to be and my daughters waiting to take me to him and me seeing my guests for the first time…was so emotional, everything looked so beautiful just the way I wanted. Our reception was incredible- it was the most magical thing I have ever seen. The décor was so elegant, it really took my breath away when I first walked in. The food was amazing. The service was just super, but not at all intrusive. The banquet team, along with Nick, looked after us so wonderfully and every single need was and met and always with a smile. The entire day ran so smooth. So, a big thank you to the TDC team, but especially to Davis, for dealing with my seemingly never ending supply of questions, always with patience and efficiency. I know I couldn’t have been an easy client to work with as I had a very set idea of what I wanted, but she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was always willing to meet with my daughters and I to discuss anything. I enjoyed the planning of the wedding almost as much as the day itself! Our heartful thanks to everyone who helped make our day so special. We have received nothing but compliments and positive feedback from all our guests. My wedding expierence was everything I wanted and MORE! The staff was super friendly, handled every detail and was there for my every beck and call! The food was wonderful. My guests could not stop gushing about how great the food was. Davis Walker was a definite life saver for me! I will NEVER forget her and how patient she was with me and how caring she was. She assisted me with planning every detail from the beginning. There were a few occasions where I contacted her after hours on her cell and she was readily available for me and allowed me to be calm and assured me everything would be fine. Everything went off without a hitch! The menu allowed for a lot of different options. The décor which they provided was phenomenal. They set up everything for us. So we had no worries on the day of the wedding. The staff was so professional and the service was impeccable! There are a lot of great locations for good photo ops. The venue itself is beautiful. I looked at a dozen venues and when we compared everything The Heritage Group had to offer, it was a no brainer for us. I am eternally grateful to the staff and cannot thank them enough for creating such a wonderful, memorable wedding day for us!

My husband and our parents searched for a month for the right place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. We struggled to agree on what we wanted. I wanted an outdoor ceremony with beautiful views and water in the background, my husband wanted something that was classy, but comfortable, and my parents wanted something formal, traditional, and elegant. At The Dominion Club, we found all of these things. The staff at TDC is top notch. Davis Walker led us through the entire process and assisted with decorations, planning our menu, and coordinating the sequence of events. Her attention to detail is incredible, and her communication and follow through on commitments is flawless. Working with her saved the need from having to engage a wedding planner or spend money on rentals for linens, etc. She even put together our table centerpieces! TDC has an array of options so that the couple can piece together their day to their own taste. I could not have been happier with how things turned out. My day was absolutely perfect. The Dominion Club is THE BEST place to have your wedding reception! They are one of the few all inclusive places in Richmond and the staff is beyond knowledgeable, friendly and so easy to work with. They are very responsive and really give you great ideas and opinions that will make your reception one of a kind. I highly recommend TDC and Davis Walker. She knows what she's doing and is so helpful, kind and such a joy to work with. She's like a part of my family now and I'm really going to miss working with her. On the day of I would recommend you have someone on top of the details because they have a lot of new folks working there who kind of messed up my ceremony and a few things during my reception. Make sure you are very specific with them with things such as music, décor, cake cutting, and left overs. Major fail was the cake cutting, I found out some of my guest didn't even get cake due to them cutting the pieces entirely too big. Overall those were the details I didn't know about till later so my day was pretty much great. I appreciate their service overall and I especially loved working with Davis throughout the process and Caroline the day of. I would recommend them to my friends in the future :)

Many thanks for all of your hard work and effort to make our reception a success. You and your staff did a wonderful job attending to the needs of our wedding guests and taking care of all of the details. I received numerous compliments throughout as well as afterwards on how smoothly everything sent. The room looked great too – the table and chair linens along with the centerpieces really were beautiful. It was a true pleasure working with the Dominion Club staff. My daughter’s wedding reception was this past weekend, and I wanted to compliment the Dominion Club staff on a job well done. It goes without saying that the venue is beautiful and the food preparation is flawless. But, to me, what makes an event like ours successful, is the staff. Davis Walker was amazing. From our first meeting until the last guest left Saturday evening, she treated my daughter and me like we were her only customer. The staff truly made our evening perfect!

Recently I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in the wedding of my best friend and her husband which was held at the Dominion Club. Jamie and Davis were so wonderful to us on our wedding day and in all the planning beforehand. We have memories that will last a lifetime. The event was so wonderful and we are still talking about it almost 3 weeks after. My husband and I loved the decor, the food, and most of all the staff. AND we got to have the wedding outside in 78 degree temperatures- Jamie the weather God is my hero! I knew we were in good hands when we picked The Dominion Club.\r\rBrad was so amazing that evening as well. He was extremely attentive to the bridal party table and the two 12 top tables with the parents and grandparents. He folded our napkins every time we got up (everybody loved that), constantly checked on us, made suggestions and answered questions along the way. I am extremely grateful for the special attention he gave to my aunt who was recovering from surgery a few days before.\r\rThis was exactly what we had hoped for and it will forever be a special part of our lives. We are so happy we chose to be at the Dominion Club and we highly recommend this venue!

My daughter Jennifer recently got married at The Dominion Club and let me just say, I have been to many wedding events throughout the years, but none were as perfect as hers. Every staff member was wonderfully attentive, effective, and efficient, while also giving us the feeling that they loved the job they were doing. \r\rI have to say Davis made the event all come together. With her careful listening and terrific planning she made the wedding perfect. She did a superb job of making sure my daughter was well taken care of and at ease throughout the night. \r\rAnother person who made my daughters wedding unbelievable was Henry! He pitched in and made the night run so smoothly. He was great with our guests and made everyone feel welcomed. I am forever grateful for the hard working staff who did everything to make my daughters wedding a night she will never forget.

My daughter's wedding was pretty, she and her husband had a good day, and the guests weren't aware that many things were amiss, but it was not the carefree and flawless day The Dominion Club promised us. The food was very good, the event flowed in a timely manner, the wait service during the reception was good, and the club was very clean and presentable. \r\rWhat didn't go well: the club misplaced a number of items which we spent a lot of time and money on, such as personalized water bottles & matchbooks, cameras for the tables, signage, bowls, etc. We were not well attended prior to the wedding, as assured. I found the altar flowers on the floor inside the club as I was about to be escorted down the aisle and the flowers had to be brought out after the guests were already seated and awaiting the bridal procession. The bride's veil was pulled off by the club's attendant as she was heading down the aisle, she made the split second decision to walk without it, then the club \"misplaced\" it so it was not available for photos. There were numerous other issues which I wont detail. These things will all probably be funny in 5 years, but I'm not laughing yet. \r\rThe Dominion Club gave us constant reassurance that my daughter's wedding would be flawless and I would be one of those mothers of the bride who gets to hang out with her daughter and sip champagne, get dressed in a leisurely way, and not worry about wedding day problems. Didn't happen. Their attention to detail was beyond disappointing.\r\rI'm sure our negative experience will slowly be replaced by happier memories of the day. But this was my only daughter and we put a lot of time, emotion, and money into her wedding. She was beautiful, happy, and let the problems roll off her back enough to have fun at her wedding. I tried, too, but I'm left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed that the day was not what we had planned. \r\rMy advice: do not be lulled into a false sense of security. Supervise everything yourself. Do not drop any items off early as they request. \r\rOur only complaint from the guests was that they couldn't put their drink down or else it was whisked away. Of course, then they'd have to get another one....
