The Ebell of Los Angeles was THE perfect venue for our big day! We loved the Old Hollywood feel of the building and the way the space flowed seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. It was a huge plus to have so many amenities included with the venue rental, including free parking and in-house catering. The Ebell staff is wonderful and were very communicative and helpful throughout the planning process. Everything went very smoothly on our wedding day and we heard so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved the venue and how impeccable the service staff was. The food and drinks were also huge hits, our guests loved the appetizers and signature drinks. The Ebell service staff was so thoughtful and made sure that we were able to get all of our appetizers and our signature drinks even though we were busy with family pictures post ceremony. The Ebell can project images onto the building, which we opted for which made for some really cool picture opportunities. We cannot thank the Ebell and their wonderful staff enough for making our wedding special!

I got married at The Ebell of Los Angeles and the entire experience was perfect. It was the first wedding venue that we saw and we were immediately blown away by how beautiful and transformative it is. We were basically sold from the moment we stepped inside. They have an excellent events team and the wedding day staff was incredible. Our guests raved about the food, cocktails, venue, and staff. I got married at The Ebell of Los Angeles and the entire experience was perfect. We are so thrilled that we went with Ebell of Los Angeles for our wedding this past August. The team has the logistics down to a science, but we still felt free to customize the spaces as we wanted and bring to life a vision that felt uniquely us. We had our ceremony in the lounge, cocktail hour in the courtyard, and dinner/reception in the dining room. Each space had its own character and charm and allowed our guests to flow through the evening seamlessly. Everyone at the Ebell was responsive and conscientious and made much of the planning process quite easy. Our guests have been raving about food + drink + how incredible the space was overall!

Who will be prom king and queen??Once we saw the gorgeous stage in their dining room we knew we found our setting - and apparently we were the first couple to get married on stage! We were able to curate so much of the evening to cater to our silly little theme and the team was so supportive and encouraging the whole journey. They also pulled off a complete flip of the space during cocktail hour - what a feat! If you want a stunning, historical venue with immaculate presentation and attention to detail, mouth watering food, the best cocktails (and so many options!), and the most supportive team and staff... look no further. The Ebell is a dream come true!

My husband fell in love with the architecture and I fell in love with the history of the building. From start to finish, the events team helped bring our traditional Hindu wedding ceremony come to life in this historic venue. The entire staff went above and beyond in helping make the planning process seamless and stress-free. Our guests loved the food (hats off to Chef Tommy for curating a Indian menu for us) and specialty drinks on the day of our wedding. The waitstaff and entire team on the day of the wedding were beyond professional and kind. I cannot recommend The Ebell enough to anyone who wants a magical setting for their big day!

We had our wedding this past April at the Ebell LA and overall, it was an amazing experience. My husband and I are so thankful to have worked with a spectacular team, from the waitstaff to the special events team. The Ebell team is so professional, friendly, helpful, and easy to work with! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and you do not need a lot of extra decor because the venue/space is so beautiful. Several noteworthy pros were the venue has 2 parking lots, which is a huge plus if you live in Los Angeles! Secondly, it is ADA friendly, and they have a wheelchair ramp and a handicap accessible restroom. Lastly, the food and drinks were utmost perfection. My parents kept raving about the food and how their friends were commenting post-wedding how great the food was. The in-house chef and mixologist are so talented and we were thoroughly impressed with the appetizers, entrees and signature cocktails. It was all just so perfect!Also, our ceremony ended up being really short (~15 min) so we had this awkward gap of 15 min before cocktail hour would begin, and Katie worked her magic and allowed us to begin cocktail hour slightly earlier and right after the ceremony ended.Once again, thank you Ebell LA for letting us have the most breathtaking and amazing wedding we could ever dream of!

We had our wedding this past April at the Ebell LA and overall, it was an amazing experience. A beautiful venue for the perfect day! The venue has so much character - we really didn't need a ton of decor. And we had some of the only nice weather in LA in 2023 so far so it really set off the beauty of the garden courtyard and being able to go out onto the terrace in the evening. I’m a professional corporate event planner and when I was looking for a venue for my wedding, booking the Ebell was the easiest choice we made. A few things that made this so simple: the space is beautiful, it was indoor and outdoor, catering and most equipment was in house (we did not have to rent many things), the staff was absolutely amazing, as an gay couple we felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed, and did I mention it is a beautiful space? It’s gorgeous. We walked inside, and it took our breath away. Sometimes you just have a feeling and you know it’s meant to be. That was us with the Ebell.The venue is historic, grand, and truly one of a kind. It is located in a great, central area of Los Angeles so guests from out of town can experience the city. A private parking lot is included. And we were treated so well by every facet of the staff. Their in house team is incredible, event coordinators, catering, bartending, security, etc. Each team member made us feel special and helped make our wedding amazing. The venue itself is very turnkey from a planning perspective which made it ideal for us. We didn’t want to bring in all the furniture, build a kitchen, rent a parking lot, decorate every inch, etc. All those details are included and the space is so beautiful you don’t want to detract from that with too much decoration.In short, the Ebell was the perfect location for our wedding, and if you’re looking for a venue that makes a statement, but also makes things easy, it will be the perfect location for yours, too.

I can't put into words how absolutely perfect it was having our wedding at the Ebell. My wife and I truly could not be more pleased with the experience. The building itself is just beyond gorgeous and quintessentially classic. In addition, it was a huge relief to work with a venue that manages food, beverage, linens, tables, cutlery, etc so we didn't have to navigate external vendors within the space. Pre-planning was hassle-free, organized, and easy to navigate because of the systems the venue utilizes (online seating programs, tasting opportunities, payment schedules, etc). It was clear from start to finish that the staff are experienced professionals who have managing big events down to a science, which allowed us to have a completely worry-free wedding day. Finally, my wife and I are a queer couple and it was clear to us that we were accepted and supported by the Ebell staff. We cannot thank you enough, Ebell!

Have your wedding here! There is no venue like it in LA. Our wedding was almost a year ago and our guests are still talking about the food and drinks. It's not only a beautiful venue, but the staff is also amazing to work with and everyone is there to make your vision happen. I looked at a lot of venues, but the Ebell was the clear choice. Cannot say enough good things about it. And seriously best food and drinks in town!

Have your wedding here! There is no venue like it in LA. Our wedding was almost a year ago and our guests are still talking about the food and drinks. Dreamlike!!! I can't get my daughter's wedding out of my mind. I think about it as I fall asleep at night and smile. After a one year delay due to Covid, the wedding took place on July 16, 2022 and was absolutely magical. The grounds, the FOOD! , the old Hollywood history... it was incredible. Her father and I were so proud to host such an unforgettable evening for family and friends. The compliments we received about the Ebell as a venue were non-stop. I do have to mention we used \" Something Events\" and had Sarah as our co-ordinator. She is very familiar with the venue and I know she was a key reason that the evening progressed with such ease and perfection!! Highly Highly recommend The Ebell!!!

Maya & Alexander were thrilled. Their wedding was beautiful. The Ebell exceeded our expectations and our guests are still raving about the wedding, and the venue.150 guests joined us at 6pm on a gorgeous Sunday evening with the Jewish Wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour in the garden and the reception in the Dining Hall. The food from Chef Tommy Belissimo and his brigade was excellent. He responded to our requests and delivered.Jenny Young booked our event and Katie Mastores executed our needs. Duane Davidson and his banquet team were on-point and professional. Alex Sierra (Beverage Manager) was very helpful in our selection of just the right wine.We live just a couple of blocks away from the Ebell and considered having our daughters wedding at The Four Seasons Hotel. There was some concern about the Ebell's ability to meet the challenge of our high expectations, but they did it with aplomb.We would not hesitate to recommend The Ebell and the Ebell Team to others looking for a special destination for their celebrations.

Where to start with this incredible venue, and it’s amazing staff! We found the Ebell of LA online when looking for venues, and all of the pictures made it seem like a dream venue - and once we arrived, we knew that it was! The moment we walked in for our viewing, we were taken through the gorgeous arches in the garden and already knew this was the place we had to get married! Where to start with this incredible venue, and it’s amazing staff! We found the Ebell of LA online when looking for venues, and all of the pictures made it seem like a dream venue - and once we arrived, we knew that it was! The moment we walked in for our viewing, we were taken through the gorgeous arches in the garden and already knew this was the place we had to get married! As nobody could have predicted the pandemic, Ebell handled the postponements, date, and design changes flawlessly. This goes to show their professionalism in times of uncertainty. After deciding to downsize our wedding of 150 people to 50 people, the Ebell staff was extremely accommodating. At no point did we feel like we were being ripped off. We loved the freedom to do our event entirely outdoors with a layout that had never been done before! Jenny, Kevin, and Anessa were all so accommodating throughout the process. We were able to incorporate so many personal touches that made our wedding truly unique and memorable for all our guests. The Ebell staff were extremely delightful to work with, the food was amazing, tableside service was amazing, we loved the custom lighting and overall. Our wedding was so perfect and ran so smoothly that I actually got to enjoy every moment of our wedding.

It has been three weeks since our wedding at The Ebell of Los Angeles and I still cannot believe how perfectly everything went. The setting is SO cool - it has a classic, vintage look with a gorgeous courtyard. You have to actually go there to get the full vibe, its awesome. The food was OUTSTANDING - honestly with 120+ plated meals, I don't know how they did it. Also oh my gosh the cocktails, we're still hearing about it. And that's the more obvious stuff... I mean no doubt your guests will be wowed, which wasn't even really my main goal but it just sort of happened (well, they made it happen).I wasn't into a fairy-tale-princess-dream-wedding idea, its just not me (but you do you, they can make that happen!). So I was concerned about having my wedding somewhere that \"does weddings.\" I looked at a lot of \"alternative\" places... I went all over Southern California and it was SO disappointing. Finally, when I toured The Ebell I honestly thought they were just good salespeople! I literally wrote in my notes - all caps - \"WHATS THE CATCH??\" which is really funny to me now. There is no catch! It's just so great that it made me feel suspicious. They meant and delivered on *every single feature* we talked about through the entire planning process! They have so much flexibility that I also didn't end up with a wedding that could've been anyones wedding (that was kind of my fear). It wasn't cookie cutter at all, and not because I threw in any pricey customizations, they just provide you with different options (and are super transparent about any up charges, but that never became a thing). Our wedding budget stayed where we planned it, didn't have any surprise costs, and I would argue ended up with a wedding that probably seemed significantly more expensive than it was. Again, not my goal, but it was just so much more beautiful than I even imagined.Here are the things I didn't know I cared about that ended up being important: (1) server to guest ratio, it felt like being at a really nice country club or hotel without the stuffiness; (2) the photographs here have turned out AMAZINGLY, something about the backdrops and the lighting; and (3) all the vendors I worked with love The Ebell, too, which just makes life easier because they know each other and don't bother you with questions! Finally, I didn't know that I cared that my wedding venue is run by such amazingly good people but I feel the need to share that story...Our originally planned wedding was March 21, 2020 so we had to cancel about 10 days out. Anessa, Jenny, and Kevin took a situation that was honestly so hard for all of us and approached it with the ultimate care and empathy. I am still taken aback at how amazing The Ebell was. I feel incredibly lucky because they always sincerely had our and our guests' best interests and safety in mind. And this was over the course of the worst of the pandemic in LA - we basically bookended it with a wedding that finally happened on June 18, 2021. As a business, they went so above and beyond; they are professionals to the nth degree.It is 1000% worth a visit and, if you've visited and are on the fence for any reason, we cannot recommend them enough! It far exceeded any and all expectations I had, sending so much love to that place.

From Kaitlyn and Jenny to the staff to the chef to the bartenders, they really helped deliver our dream wedding. We had two separate ceremonies, two cocktail hours and reception all at the Ebell and we managed to take advantage of every space at the venue. The venue is truly one-of-a-kind and each room was more breathtaking than the last. Kaitlyn and Jenny were an absolute pleasure to work with - they really helped us deliver our dream wedding and they both helped us throughout the process and brought such positive energy and fresh ideas to the planning process.The Chef... AMAZING. We've received so many compliments on all of the hors d'oeuvres and main courses. Honestly, it was the best food at a wedding we've ever had. We could not be happier with the choice of The Ebell of Los Angeles for our wedding. Neither of us had ever attended an event there, but as soon as we walked through on our first \"look-see\" visit, we knew we had found the perfect place for us. The venue is drop-dead gorgeous and the staff was always welcoming and accommodating. They're not a \"budget\" choice, but we found the value we received was immeasurable. Our guests universally gave it rave reviews. We chose to have the ceremony in the garden and it couldn't have been more beautiful. And best of all... the FOOD! We're foodies and didn't expect anything noteworthy from any wedding venue and would've been pleased had the food just been \"good.\" But it was FANTASTIC! After our tasting, we both commented that, if this were a restaurant, we would've been counting the days until we could come back again. Simply outstanding! Event staff members Jenny, Krissy, and Kaitlyn were all extremely helpful and responsive throughout the process. And the day of, they assigned two lovely young ladies -- Allie and Jenna -- to simply follow us around to provide anything we might need. On a super-hot day, they magically popped up with fresh water at seemingly every turn. Still not sure how they did it. Thank you to everyone at The Ebell for making our big day simply magical.

Everything on the day ran smoothly. Our friends and family are still raving about the excellent food, fun cocktails, and how stunning the venue was. The chef went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions (vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free) and several guests commented that they would become vegans if they could eat the mushroom Wellington everyday. What can I say?? From the moment we stepped foot onto the venue of The Ebell of LA, we knew instantly that this was the place where we wanted to have our wedding reception. Our tour and very first meeting was with Jenny, and she was so sweet and easy to plan with; along with Krissy, our wedding planning for this venue was so effortless! The venue itself is so beautiful! As a couple, we knew we wanted something with a traditional and “Old LA” vibe, but also something with a modern twist. And Ebell had exactly what we envisioned. The space was not only beautiful, it was very spacious, which was perfect since we were approximating 250 guests. From the day of our wedding (December 30. 2017), til present day, we’re still hearing so many compliments from our vendors about how easy the staff at Ebell was to work with; and all of our guests enjoyed the venue as well—from the beauty of it, to the food and cocktails. The food was a huge thing for us as a foodie couple, and let me tell you that Ebell definitely did not disappoint. Our guests raved about our appetizers and kept wanting more, and our dinner choices were a big hit as well, and weren’t your “typical wedding food”. The cocktails were on point, and ever flowing. I can go on and on about how much I loved this venue. With the price we paid, we loved that it included everything that most other venues we had looked at previously didn’t have—such as security guards were included, open bar, and not to mention plenty of FREE parking!! That is definitely something hard to come by in LA lol. I highly recommend this venue 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

The Ebell of Los Angeles and its staff was first-class. As a couple, we love the look and feel of old Hollywood- and walking through the gates at the Ebell, we knew we were home. Jenny is absolutely top notch. Her love for the architecture of the Ebell shone through in her very first presentation of the facility to us.The entire operation at the Ebell is incredible. Everyone is very professional and friendly. Once you book the site, you have a meal tasting which is a lot of fun! The Ebell's kitchen is 5 star. The second meeting is to discuss your lighting design and overall color scheme. Everything is well-thought out and you don't leave until they know you are 100% satisfied. That was impressive.We had a beautiful ceremony in the garden and then had an amazing reception in the Lounge and Art Lounge rooms. Krissy was very helpful in the day-to-day planning leading up to the wedding. The full bar and menu were top notch. We received so many compliments on our dinner and venue space by our guests. We were blown away by the promptness of the entire staff. Throughout the night we were taken care of like a King and a Queen. We were told by many of our guests it was the best wedding they have ever attended- and the ambiance and service of the Ebell played a huge part in that.Also, when the Ebell returned our deposit, they even gave us additional money back- as they discovered we had overpaid! How amazing is that!?! That type of professionalism just reinforced how we feel about The Ebell and its staff.If you are looking for a venue that's vintage Hollywood, includes a professional and friendly staff, a five star kitchen, and first-rate service - the Ebell is your destination. The venue is absolutely stunning, with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces that allow you to create an awesome event flow with ample room and variety for your guests. From the big staircase, to the garden, to the gorgeous doors, ceilings, and arches throughout, the Ebell was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. Even more impressive than the space itself was the INCREDIBLE team we worked with. Jenny and Krissy are phenomenal and we actively miss them now that the wedding is over. They were incredible partners to us throughout the planning process, and we felt like they were as excited about the wedding as we were. From helping facilitate our special requests to adding their own awesome ideas into the mix, they brought to life our dream for a glamorous, rock and roll, gold sequin filled lovefest. The food was delicious (our guests are still raving about it) and we could not have been happier with the menu Chef pulled together for us. The Banquet Manager we worked with (Duane) and his team delivered FLAWLESS service throughout the night. Overall, we could not have been happier and our wedding surpassed even our wildest dreams! Jenny and Krissy are very helpful and prompt to answer any questions. The food is delicious! All of my guests were very pleased with their plates, especially the appetizers at cocktail hour, I'm still bummed we didn't get to eat any because of photos. Also, open bar is a must and very reasonable, they did a great job and everyone was nice and toasty!! I'd have to say that the only downfall would be all the few little things that are not included that quickly add up, such as air conditioning which is completely necessary since our wedding was at the end of July. Other than that this venue is beautiful and I would most definitely recommend them.
