The historic Eclectic Warehouse speaks to authentic elegance, beauty and grace through its extraordinary starry lights, massive heart-pine timbers, high ceilings, hand-made red brick walls and comfortable grassy lawns. Natural light through antique glass makes it a photographer’s dream. With over 500 weddings to date, this 10,000 square foot venue has won the heart of the entire river region. Amenities include tables, chairs, drapes, lighting, a stage, bride’s room, staging furniture, lighted outdoor deck, kitchen, three bathrooms and a courtyard (perfect for an outdoor wedding and an indoor reception!). The 8,000 square foot main room easily accommodates both the ceremony and the reception with plenty of room for all the traditional wedding stations including food service, DJ, cake, photography booth, memory table, intimate seating vignettes and more. The decorating options are endless but our brides tell us that our venue is so beautiful that no additional decorating is necessary! However, we encourage your creativity and personalization with your own aesthetic choices. Chandeliers and twinkle lights are guaranteed to transport you into a world of beauty and sacredness. Plus, there are procession areas for sparkler exits and glamourous entrances. The facility easily accommodates your wedding themes whether traditional elegant, boho, industrial, rustic, art deco, vintage, roaring twenties or holiday themes. Management is extremely flexible allowing you to bring your own food or caterer and encouraging all your vendor choices. Five massive doors make load in/load out logistics superb and also allow the venue to act as an open pavilion in ideal weather. There is ample heating and cooling for your comfort in all weather conditions. The facility is both glorious and extremely functional to ensure the ease of your event. Be sure to ask us about overnight accommodations, outdoor spaces and additional venues. Daily rate plus cleaning fee and damage deposit required.

Shari and Aubrey were an absolute joy to work with! They made everything so easy, the Warehouse is STUNNING, and the package we booked was such an incredible value. The groom and groomsmen enjoyed staying together at the Pond Cabin, and the house on the lake was more than enough room for our bridal party. Our photographers loved having the pond and downtown Eclectic as a backdrop for our various photos, and the Sycamore Courtyard (behind the Warehouse) was the perfect location for our outdoor fall ceremony. I cannot recommend this venue enough!!! We knew immediately that this was the right choice for us, and Aubrey and Shari made it an absolute dream every step of the way.

Anytime I needed to visit or had a thought Aubrey would always call me. It’s the most beautiful venue ! So many lights! I do however wish the bridal getting ready room was more up to date but it just looked so amazing in my getting ready pictures.

Incredible venue with a soft romantic atmosphere. The owner & his assistant were so organized, helpful and accommodating. We were given all the access we need to complete our plans well in advance. There’s a full kitchen which was not only used by our caterer but by us to make a brunch on our wedding day. Plenty of restrooms, tables and chairs and ample space for our event. Lovely architectural accents were easy to incorporate into the wedding theme. Wonderful all in one Wedding/Reception venue. The bridal suite was so comfortable. I just can’t say enough good about this venue. The pricing was more than affordable for any bride. I highly recommend it.

The Venue was absolutely beautiful, especially with all the string lights and chandeliers. The spaciousness of the room allowed us to have the wedding and reception all in one. Aubrey and Shari were a pleasure to work with and provided recommendations on how to set-up, other vendors, etc. The Venue had everything we needed including a great kitchen, antique furniture, back patio, stage, octagon, and more!

This was the perfect venue for us. It was beautiful with very little additional decorations. Aubrey and Shari were always available to answer questions or to allow is to tour the venue. Owner dropped in Several times while we decorated to see if we needed anything. It was easy to hold both the wedding and reception in the same space. We used the patio for our bar area and corn hole. First of all, this place is a freaking dream!!! It is absolutely beautiful, and the pictures- AMAZING! The owners were fabulous and easy to work with! The only thing that ended up being a problem was the venue itself does not have wifi, so the dj had some trouble with music. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!! As a wedding planner you don't necessarily love every venue your clients choose, but I can honestly say I loved my experience at The Eclectic Warehouse! The owner Aubrey Hornsby and his assistant Shari were extremely helpful and super easy to work with. My clients were able to visit The Warehouse several times, even a couple days before the wedding. Mr Hornsby checked in on the wedding day to make sure we had everything we needed and knew where all the plugs and switches were. While we only used The Warehouse property we were able to tour all of the properties and they are all wonderful. Each property offers something different and something for all budgets. The Eclectic Warehouse is a beautiful setting with tons of charm and character. Exposed brick walls, fairy lights and antique furniture create the perfect mood. You have several options for both your ceremony and reception. You can also use the back deck and garden space for pictures or your wedding if you are looking for an intimate outdoor setting! They have chairs and tables there for you to use for the ceremony and reception, you do not have to stress with renting and pick up. They do offer set up as well for a fee. The Eclectic Warehouse offers kitchen facilities, several restrooms and a dedicated brides suite. My only wish would be for a second suite for the groom, second bride or other members of the wedding party. I highly recommend The Eclectic Warehouse for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

Aubrey and Shari at the warehouse really go above and beyond to make sure your day is exactly as you want it to be! This venue is so beautiful already and hardly needs any decoration. When I walked in for the first time on my wedding day, with all of my tables and flowers set up, it literally took my breath away. This venue is gorgeous and very spacious, especially for the price. I really wanted the industrial look but without the ridiculous prices some of the venues in Birmingham charge. There was plenty of room for the food, cakes, tables and chairs, plus the dance floor. I had several people reach out to me about how much they loved the venue. The lights strung up everywhere ensured we had good lighting in all our photos and really made it feel magical.The only thing keeping me from giving it 5/5 is the lack of space for the groom. My husband and our groomsmen had to go to a storage area in an adjacent building to get ready. They complained about the heat of the room and disorganization. We certainly couldn’t take any getting ready pics there.

I used the warehouse in July 2020 (reschedule from June 2020) and Mr. Hornsby was VERY accommodating throughout the process. Overall we loved being there. During the rehersal dinner I was asked if he could show another couple the venue. I checked with my in-laws and they were fine with it! WEDDING DAY I showed up early to do a few things and I was caught off guard but a couple and the brides parents. They were told to come tour the venue on the DAY OF MY WEDDING! While any normal time I would have zero issues I was not happy that this was thrown on me and that he would think it was ok to show to venue while my other venders were working on setting up. There was a few \"unclean\" spots where there was mold on the tables in the kitchen. Once Mr. Hornsby knew this he called his crew and they came to clean again!Also be ready to have extra guest!! I had a family (not sure if they are related to Mr. Hornsby or not) show up and party with us neither me or my husband or our parents knew who they were -- drank alcohol and ate dinner. While of course this wasn't an issue because we did have plenty I just found it VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Mr. Hornsby sat with them and talked with them the entire time and this is what makes me think he invited them.Like I said overall it was great and I would use them again just would have a better contract so I wouldn't have any crashers.

I used the warehouse in July 2020 (reschedule from June 2020) and Mr. Hornsby was VERY accommodating throughout the process. Overall we loved being there. During the rehersal dinner I was asked if he could show another couple the venue. I checked with my in-laws and they were fine with it! WEDDING DAY I showed up early to do a few things and I was caught off guard but a couple and the brides parents. They were told to come tour the venue on the DAY OF MY WEDDING! While any normal time I would have zero issues I was not happy that this was thrown on me and that he would think it was ok to show to venue while my other venders were working on setting up. There was a few \"unclean\" spots where there was mold on the tables in the kitchen. Once Mr. Hornsby knew this he called his crew and they came to clean again!Also be ready to have extra guest!! I had a family (not sure if they are related to Mr. Hornsby or not) show up and party with us neither me or my husband or our parents knew who they were -- drank alcohol and ate dinner. While of course this wasn't an issue because we did have plenty I just found it VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Mr. Hornsby sat with them and talked with them the entire time and this is what makes me think he invited them.Like I said overall it was great and I would use them again just would have a better contract so I wouldn't have any crashers.

Mr. Hornsby with The Eclectic Warehouse was a delight to work with for our wedding. He calmed all our fears in a particularly harsh worrisome year that 2020 has been. He is a beautiful loving soul, he was so welcoming that i personally invited him to share in our happy day.. The venues that we used: The warehouse, the cottage and pond cabin were absolutely stunning. There are so many photo ops in these places, it a photographer's dream. Please consider The Eclectic Warehouse for your wedding, you will be glad you did.

Our experience with the Warehouse was absolutely amazing. The original wedding date was in April. We had to cancel because of COVID. Aubrey was very accomodating and allowed us to move the date to September. The facility is perfect for and indoor or outdoor wedding. Everything you need in one facility. We rented the venue for four days. I am so glad that we did. It allowed us plenty of time to decorate, have the rehearsal, and clean up the day after the wedding. You will not be disappointed. My daughter had her dream wedding in a dreamy location.

Meet the The Eclectic Warehouse Team
Aubrey Hornsby (Owner) Aubrey grew up in Pensacola and Eclectic before studying at Vanderbilt and producing events in Nashville. He has been an investment banker, community developer, fisherman and farmer. Now he is enjoying being a part of the revitalization of rural America in Eclectic, Alabama. He converted the warehouse (built by his greatgrandfatherThomas for his great grandfather Hornsby) into an event center and wedding venue about 20 years ago.
