Our large, historic estate offers space for weddings of all sizes - from an intimate, 50-person ceremony and reception up to a 300 guest celebration. We provide custom proposals based on your vision for the big day. Our team will do the heavy lifting, so that you can enjoy your family and friends, relaxing on our beautiful grounds, and having a stunning backdrop for your photography and videography. We offer full seating for your ceremony and reception; set up and break down service; use of our outdoor furnishings including lounge sets, fire pits, umbrellas, and outdoor heaters; dance floor and A/V system; full-service bar; beautiful spaces for both partners to lounge before the ceremony; and full staffing throughout your event Our weddings average from $20,000 -$80,000 depending on vendors and the time of the year. Now offering guest accommodations in our Luxury Tiny Home Cottages! Experience tiny living for the first time in Reno, Nevada. Our spacious interiors include King & Queen Beds, Kitchenette or Full Kitchens, and full-size Bathrooms. We offer multiple distinct cottages for guests to enjoy in the heart of Reno. Each of our 8 cottages was carefully thought out for you to enjoy. The Elm Estate team was so helpful in planning our wedding day and making sure the event was seamless. We got tons of compliments from guests - many guests shared it was the most beautiful venue they’d ever seen. Highly recommend!

Being an out of state bride has its challenges. When I found The Elm Estate on The Knot I fell in love and knew I had to see the place in person. The online pictures are great and really showcase the venue, but in person it’s even more beautiful! When my husband and I stepped on the property we knew it was the place for us. The entire team at The Elm Estate is AMAZING. They are SUPER nice, professional, detailed, and willing to help with anything. We can’t thank Shannon, Tania, and the rest of the staff enough!

We truly can't say enough about The Elm Estate and their team. They were by our side through wedding planning for over 2 years. Beyond being the most gorgeous location we could have imagined, they were incredibly responsive to feedback, professional, and truly cared about us and our day. Their attention to detail and planning surrounding our day went beyond what I would have expected from a venue. Planning and set up were flawless, coordination was timely and professional, the bar staff was very talented, and the owner was personally there to make sure our day went off without a hitch. The Elm Estate and their amazing team are where you need to have your wedding!

Where to start… this venue is ABSOLUTE PERFECTION, period. From the decor, the landscaping to the team. I’ve been in a lot of my families weddings over the years and have never experienced this level of service from a venue. Kari & her team are the best. Where to start… this venue is ABSOLUTE PERFECTION, period. From the decor, the landscaping to the team. When planning for a wedding, Alex and I knew we wanted something closer to town, but far enough away that we and our guests would be able to enjoy our day privately. After visiting a few venues and walking away not being sold on any of them, we decided to tour the Elm Estate after checking out their website. We emailed the venue and received a quick response from Megan. She told us a bit about it's history, answered any questions we had and set up a time to meet for a tour. When we saw the venue in person, it was an absolute dream - photos will never be able to do it justice.Then COVID hit. The shut downs, the slow opens, the constantly changing guest lists and information we had to give to our vendors .. it's enough to make planning a wedding even more stressful, but Megan and her team handled it all with such poise, grace and professionalism that Alex and I weren't even the slightest bit stressed. Throughout all the strangeness of 2020, they were always in contact with us and when they asked what we pictured our dream wedding to look like, they made it all happen. They always kept us in the loop with everything that was going on or if there were any changes (and there were many) due to the pandemic. The closer Alex and I got to our wedding, the more relaxed we were because Megan, Amanda, and Shannon made sure to take care of everything. All of the questions and concerns I had prior and during, they answered with complete honesty and already had plans set in place in case there were changes with the weather (legitimately, they had a Plan A, B and C) or if we had to shut down again (which luckily, we didn't!). Megan and her team were also absolute angels when our guest list keep changing up until the day of (we went from 175 to 45 and they handled it all with such grace).The day of our wedding they made sure every detail was taken care of, from making sure all state and government mandates were followed by both guests and employees, to keeping in contact with all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page, and to having even the littlest details (centerpieces, twinkle lights, etc.) placed perfectly. Throughout our wedding, they made sure we had everything we needed - whether it be fixing a groomsman’s split pants to being my eyes when I wanted to sneak peeks at what was going outside before the ceremony. They were all absolute lights!So if you’re still in the process of looking for a wedding venue, I HIGHLY recommend the Elm Estate. Not only is the venue a gem, but Megan and her team truly make you feel like family. We cannot thank them enough for creating such a perfect atmosphere for the start of Alex’s and my life together as husband and wife.

I’m a photographer in the Reno/Tahoe areas & the Elm Estate is by far the best Venue in Reno. Their vendor team is some of the most accommodating, amazing & big hearted humans I’ve ever worked with. Megan, Amanda, and the team at The Elm Estate went above and beyond to help us plan our wedding! We toured several other venues in the Reno-Tahoe area, but after seeing the beautiful house and event center, we knew this was the perfect place. The team is amazing to work with and were very flexible while we downsized our wedding from 200 to 25 people. They offered helpful advice on schedule & set-up, plus they have great relationships with other top vendors in town. I would highly recommend booking a tour and meeting the team.

I am so excited to review The Elm Estate! My (now) husband and I had an overall amazing experience working with The Elm Estate for our June wedding- even during a pandemic! Our wedding coordinator was Megan Brock and she went above and beyond. She is just amazing and was basically a built in wedding planner which is unheard of at venues! She helped with literally everything. Megan was so committed to making our day exactly what we wanted, even when I would make changes every other day! She was so responsive, easy to get ahold of and always so professional and kind. She has such an eye for making sure all the details are covered and she is so easy to work with! I fully believe without her our experience would not have been as amazing as it was. I saw in another review that someone was unable to be at the venue until 2pm the day of their wedding- we were able to be there as early as 1pm. If I had one complaint it is that as well. I think for the price and overall wedding experience that you should have access to the property starting in the morning the day of your wedding. However, they do work with you in what they can offer for the day and it doesn't change my feeling towards the overall experience. The Elm Estate is so beautiful that you truly hardly have to decorate, the staff truly works with you to get exactly what you're asking for. Oh and the bartender... AMAZING! I wish I could remember her name. Our wedding was everything we wanted because of this venue!

I am so excited to review The Elm Estate! My (now) husband and I had an overall amazing experience working with The Elm Estate for our June wedding- even during a pandemic! Working with The Elm Estate has been a stressful, frustrating, and brutal experience. I typically do not leave negative reviews as I believe everyone has different experiences, however in this case I feel it is extremely important that future brides understand our difficulties in working with The Elm Estate. First, our initial meeting with The Elm Estate was great. The property is beautiful, we were offered drinks and snacks upon arrival, and met with an event coordinator and their General Manager to discuss our wedding vision. Unfortunately, the good stopped there. During this initial meeting we were verbally promised many things that later came up to not be true. The two main issues that came up were: 1) We were told we would have full-day access to The Elm House (where the bridal suite is located), but we found out months later that we would not be granted access until 2 pm. The contract stated “day use” which we obviously should have clarified ahead of time, but we felt frustrated that this didn't match what we were originally told. Warning to future brides, if you want to get ready at your venue, this likely won’t work for you. 2) The Elm Estate does a two-part proposal/contract which requires you to sign and pay a deposit for the venue well before you have any discussions about booking catering. In our first meeting we went over our food preferences and we were given a quote that worked for our budget. When we met with the caterers a few months later, our quote was nearly double the original estimate. This was obviously going to be a problem as we didn’t have unlimited funds to spend on our wedding. Now, I will say, the GM at the time worked with the catering company to help bring that cost down to something manageable for us, however, he no longer works at the Elm Estate (they went through 2 different GMs in the 6 months of working with them) and so I cannot suggest you ask to work with him. Finally, we were met with the challenge of planning a wedding during the coronavirus pandemic. Now, I completely understand that COVID-19 has effected so many small businesses in the wedding industry and it has devastated thousands of wedding plans. I truly sympathize with wedding vendors during this scary time, however, the way this situation was handled with The Elm Estate felt rude and inconsiderate. By mid-April we could see that the pandemic was not getting better and felt we needed to make a call. We reached out to The Elm Estate to request a refund of our deposit and to cancel our wedding plans. This was something we were obviously crushed by. We would no longer be able to celebrate with our family and friends or have the wedding we had been dreaming of, but instead of consoling a hurt client, we received a response from The Elm Estate stating that we could either host the event on our original date (even if government regulations only allowed for 10 people), or we could reschedule, but we would not be receiving any amount of our deposit back. There are many reasons as to why we made the choice not to reschedule our wedding date, but it felt unfair that we now were being told we don’t have a say in when we get married, but would have to choose a date based on someone else’s availability.
