ATTENTION ALL BRIDES!!! Planning your wedding, then you need to book The English Manor!!! My husband and I got married here last November, and I know this review is a little late and I apologize for that, but The English Manor is no ordinary wedding venue. It is HOME!! The grounds are beautiful, the ballroom is gorgeous and the food was delicious. When Mark and I got engaged we looked at 12 different venues and nothing compared to The English Manor. Maddie was absolutely amazing in answering all my questions and helping me throughout the whole process. She reminded us of a friend of ours and we felt so comfortable. Troy was our Maitre’d and we could not have been happier. He made our dream wedding come to life. He was so attentive to not just our needs as the bride and groom but my parents as well as my husband mom and our whole bridal party. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Troy for that. It was true my appreciated. I strongly suggest you book your wedding here. I promise you will not regret it. We didn’t. It was the best night of our lives and we thank k you English Manor for mains our dream wedding come true.

Choosing The English Manor for our wedding was an outstanding decision that we will never regret. From the onset, the staff and venue exuded warmth and professionalism, creating an environment that our guests couldn't stop raving about.The one-wedding-a-day policy allowed us to fully utilize the venue, including time before the ceremony for photography. We had extensive decor, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and flexible in helping us realize our vision.Marlyn, our Maitre'd, and Maddie, our initial point of contact, were nothing short of amazing. The day ran seamlessly, which was largely due to their coordination. We received numerous positive comments about Marlyn from our guests, highlighting her efficiency and charm.As for the food, it was top-notch. With an Italian family in attendance, the stakes were high, but not a single person had a complaint, which says a lot!We had around 100 guests, and the venue felt spacious and comfortable. If you're planning a larger wedding with 150-200 people, the venue might feel a bit tight, so that's something to consider.In terms of cost, the pricing was very reasonable for the value provided, although Saturdays and summer months come at a premium.One thing I wish I'd known earlier is that there's a Facebook group for the venue where brides and grooms can discuss questions and share experiences. I only discovered this after our wedding, so I highly recommend joining if you choose this venue.All in all, if you're looking for a venue that offers personalized service, excellent food, and a beautiful setting, The English Manor should be at the top of your list.

Have your wedding here! Do not look any further. When my husband and I got engaged we looked at 2 venues; Radisson at Freehold and The English Manor. The minute that we met with the staff at English Manor, he looked at me and said this is it. Then, we took a look at the grounds and we knew we weren’t going anywhere else. Marlyn is the sweetest and most caring person I have ever met. Her attention to detail is unmatched and she really does cater to your every need and want. The food is out of this world! Cocktail hour was incredible, I really could have stayed there all night. Dinner was phenomenal, I wish I could eat there every single night. They have such an extensive menu and it is worth every single penny!

I had the pleasure of attending my niece's wedding last week at The English Manor. I heard good things about this venue, but Im always suspect, so I was happy that I was going to experience it myself, so I could determine if what my friends were saying was true. I dont shock easily, but I was shocked. The food was the top spectacular and the grounds were beautiful. I was very impressed with the choice my niece and now nephew made when choosing their venue. Also the staff was very accommodating. And I certainly can't forget Troy, the wedding planner; I believe he was called the maitre'd. I watch what goes on around me and Troy was such a great leader of the pack, everything ran on point. I have an elderly mother in a wheelchair and even though Troy had a wedding to run, he took his time to help mother and make sure she was happy and enjoying herself, he won me over just with that. The whole experience was exemplary and I would suggest The English Manor to everyone looking for tradition in their wedding and a fabulous experience.

The English Manor - From our first visit all the way to the day after our wedding, The English Manor went above and beyond. Every staff member we worked with was so kind, helpful and truly wanted to help us have best wedding day; and we did. On the day of our wedding it rained in the early afternoon and our venue coordinator, Marlyn, was so helpful and flexible in creating a plan. We were able to have our ceremony outside in the gardens and our cocktail hour food stations inside due to the possibility of more rain. They even opened the outdoor bar and made sure the tables and chairs were dry on the decks for any guests who wanted to be outside as it did not rain. Cocktail hour was incredible and our guests are still talking about the food! The beautiful gardens and reception space speak for themselves and are stunning for photos. Truly cannot say enough amazing things about The English Manor and am so happy we had our wedding there!

As soon as I walked into The English Manor, I knew I wanted to get married there… and I’m so glad that I did!!! The English Manor is such a special place; it’s gorgeous both inside and out, all of the staff are great to work with, and the food is amazing! The day of my wedding it poured rain the entire day… which of course is every bride’s nightmare. Despite this, Troy and the rest of the staff did everything in their power to make my day beautiful and magical.. and they succeeded! My family and friends are still talking about how amazing my wedding was and raving about the food (and it’s been 3 months!) I wish I could go back in time and relive my wedding day just to experience it all over again! Brides, definitely choose The English Manor as your venue! You won’t regret it! 🤍

This venue is the perfect place to get married! The venue gives an English garden vibe with beautiful crystal chandeliers! The staff is friendly, caring, and supportive! We did not have to worry about a thing because the staff at the English Manor had it all taken care of! We especially want to thank Marlyn Azala who was our wedding coordinator. She listened to our suggestions and made them a reality at our wedding and made everything go smoothly. The food was amazing as well and there were so many options to choose from! No one left hungry! The staff made sure we were taken care of every step of the way!

We could not have been more happy with our experience. From the minute we booked we felt so cared for. The maitre’d that led us through our initial tour no longer works at English Manor, but that was no issue whatsoever. Marlyn picked up like she had been with us from the very beginning. EVERY email was answered with ease IN THE MOST TIMELY OF FASHIONs, and all concerns (really more so questions) were addressed. Our details meeting was so thorough and I went into our day feeling completely confident that my vision would come to life. IT DID AND THEN SOME. Again, I truly believe this was all because of Marlyn and Jen. I am Type A, so this was something I was very concerned about. From the minute we set foot on the venue property the morning of our wedding until the minute we left we were absolutely blown away. Marlyn and Jen were just so above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined. I would’ve had Marlyn at my wedding as a guest because I love her so much. I went through my day stress free without any type of professional coordinator (which was shocking for me!). marlyn handled absolutely every single detail and issue that arose. (Again, none of which were her fault lol.) Marlyn walked around with me, carried my bouquet, made sure my phone got to my good friend to snap some photos, made sure I had a drink in my hand every minute I wanted it, and just thought of absolutely everything. She even SCRUBBED the dirt off my dress from the rain so it was perfect. I cannot recommend this stunning venue enough! Although, a team is only as good as their players. so, more importantly, i cannot recommend marlyn enough. Our guests are still raving about the venue, scenery, food, and atmosphere. We are so happy with our choice! And ILY MARLYN, SO MUCH. 🤍🥹✨

We cannot say enough great things about the English Manor and their excellent staff. From start to finish they were responsive, helpful, and attentive. They always answered our questions in a timely manor. The grounds were the perfect backdrop to our September wedding. Even with the threat of rain, we were able to hold the ceremony outdoors and make the day-of decision to switch the cocktail hour inside to avoid the 6PM showers. Everything went off without a hitch. The food - everything was absolutely fantastic. The cocktail hour options were endless and had options for all dietary preferences. Dinner selections were elegant and perfectly prepared. Our guests couldn't say enough great things about the food - and we couldn't agree more. Troy, our maitre'd, was wonderful. He brought our very detailed vision to life and we couldn't imagine the the day without him. His attention to detail and commitment to making the day perfect was appreciated beyond words. You will not go wrong with booking the English Manor. Now to only convince our friends and family to get married there so we can be guests there!!! Thank you, EM team, for the best day ever!

My wife and I got married here last week and now that everything is settled down we can sit down to write this. The English manor was hands down the most beautiful and wonderful place we've had the privilege to be married at. Last year when we were choosing places for the ceremony we landed on the English manor and at first we were stressed we wouldn't know what to do once we set a date but very luckily they gave us someone to help. Our Maitre'd Troy was so unbelievably helpful. As the wedding approached and it came time to buckle down and start planning Troy was INCREDIBLE. He helped us with practically everything we ever could've needed. Every time we had a question it was solved within a day. He even went above and beyond and helped with the wedding even 2 days before which he really didn't have to. Between Troy and everyone at the english manor, Our wedding was no doubt the happiest day of our lives. The food was perfect, the ceremony was beautiful and the planning was so specific it went down to the littliest detail. We were given so much care even as we arrived early. Ultimatley we had so much freedom and support between everyone that we can confidently say that we can recommend everything about the english manor and especially Troy who went above and beyond. We had a winter wedding and the outside lights were so beautiful we took so many photos out there. Even during the wedding we had the support of everyone it was so nice to just be able to focus on our big day. If you're thinking about a beautiful venue with great food, staff, and really helpful people, look no further.

We held our wedding at The English Manor two weeks ago, and it was absolutely incredible! We had the BEST day thanks to the staff of The English Manor! The property is gorgeous for photos, and offers both indoor or outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour- which for a late fall wedding was helpful because although we envisioned an outdoor cocktail hour- the staff quickly transitioned to an indoor cocktail hour. I was able to bring in all my own decorations and the staff made sure to place everything as I asked. When we walked in the venue for our wedding, everything was set up perfectly. We didn't have to do an ounce of work! Every thirty minutes someone came up to us and asked if we needed anything, and they planned ample time for us to eat and drink throughout the reception. We truly spent the day relaxing, and soaking up every minute of as a bride and groom should. Our maitre'd Marlyn was incredibly attentive and professional. She made sure every detail was to my liking, and met all my expectation with such patience and kindness. I feel so lucky to have worked with her! Without even having to ask her, she saved menus, our cake, and mementos from the wedding night for me. Minutes before the ceremony, my dress sleeve ripped- and I swear four staff members swooped in out of nowhere to sew me up. Then after the ceremony, Marlyn made sure the dress was secure and my morale was okay before the reception. I was so rattled, about my dress-but her kindness made me feel so much better. We highly recommend The English Manor to any couple! I'm still getting compliments on the food and drinks!

Our wedding was October 2022 and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Over the last two weeks, we keep hearing comments from all of our guests about how incredible everything was: the food, the space, the gardens, the staff, everything. From the moment we walked into The English Manor two years ago, we were so impressed by the aesthetic beauty of the grounds, the professionalism of the staff, and the spectacular wedding packages. Their website is wonderfully clear and perfectly transparent, so we want to focus on some aspects of important to us here that could not be as easily found on those pages. Lisa (the owner) actually gave us our tour originally and we fell in love with her spunk and clear passion for her business. One particularly impressive distinction that she showed us was the state-of-the-art sound system that allowed music to be blasting on the dance floor while not overwhelming the entire space and therefore allowing guests to be talking at the tables without shouting (our guests loved this). Maddie in the office was around to happily answer any questions we had over the two-year process promptly and efficiently and worked with us to ensure that all of our needs were addressed. Wedding planning during an ever-changing pandemic was less than ideal and Maddie worked with us to keep us as calm as possible each step of the way. Along with Maddie, Marlyn (our fabulous maitre’d) worked with us to accommodate some specific dietary needs for some of our VIP guests to ensure everyone not only had food to eat but options at that throughout the night. While the food was terrific, we are beyond impressed by The English Manor’s policy of donating all leftover food to a local shelter at the end of the wedding. The passion for giving back to the community left a very important impression on us. One last note of appreciation is needed here on The English Manor’s inclusive nature. As a gay couple, we wanted to make sure that our wedding left us both feeling empowered and celebrated at all moments. Lisa, Maddie, Marlyn, and the rest of the staff actively did this and then some. Our cocktail hour even featured a pumpkin with two grooms carved into it! Everything was perfect and we are so beyond impressed by everything here and grateful for the people who made it happen. Thank you all so much.

Troy was amazing to work with from start to end! If he is your Maitre D’, trust that you are in great hands! We were not sure what to expect as we hadn’t seen many reviews, but we knew we were in great hands regardless. During our finalization meeting, Troy spent so much time really understanding our needs, wants, confusions, and everything in between. He gave us a no-pressure vibe that gave us the confidence that our day would turn out perfectly. As our wedding day grew closer, he was never hesitant to let us know what he needed from us, or what we had not thought about. He was always available to us and responsive to our questions day or night. There were many times that we texted him late at night not expecting a response until the next day, but we received responses within minutes. During our rehearsal he really pieced everything together for us and gave our bridal party and family the confidence in knowing what to expect the next day. He brought a sense of calm to us throughout the entire process, and we knew that on the day of, we would be fully taken care of. He really made sure that our wedding day was perfect, and we left the venue at the end of the night without a doubt that without him, that perfect bow on the day would not have happened. We can’t recommend Troy enough! He really is an amazing person!

We LOVED the English Manor - they immediately made us feel special, not like we were just one of many couples getting married there.They assigned us a maitre'd, Kristi, who was so friendly and always available to answer every little question.This venue is perfect for any couple like us, who wants to get married in a lovely venue and does not want to make a thousand decisions and hire individual vendors for food, cake, drinks, etc. The fact it's all included was a HUGE selling point - the only things we had to provide was music, flowers and a photographer.Definitely check them out - you won't regret it!

My husband and I had our wedding in April at The English Manor! It was absolutely beautiful! As someone with many food allergies, the English Manor was able to accommodate and ensured that the food was safe. Our ceremony took place outside and it was beautifully decorated by Marlyn. She went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure things ran smoothly. My husband and I were able to have some time alone in the Bridal Suite to eat during cocktail hours. We’ve heard many times that brides/grooms do not get to eat on their wedding day but Kyle, Marlyn and the team ensured we eat. It’s 3 months later and our guests are still talking about how fantastic the food was. The Bacon Bar at the cocktail hour is definitely highly recommended!!! They helped bring our dream wedding day to life and it is a day we will hold close to our hearts.

My husband and I got married at The English Manor on May 28, 2022, and we could not be happier with our decision! We had high expectations for this venue based on the many glowing reviews we had read, and yet our wedding day was even more perfect than we could have imagined. If you want a beautiful wedding venue run by professionals who will ensure you don't have to worry about a thing on your big day, this is the venue for you. The photos available online of this venue simply do not do it justice — you have to see it in person. As my father in law said, it's so beautiful that it can't be described. The grounds are STUNNING, and on our various visits during the wedding planning process, there were always landscapers working to maintain it. We loved the fact that our guests were able to move from the outdoor ceremony area to a separate outdoor cocktail area and then to the indoor ballroom throughout the night, and our coordinator, Marlyn, was helpful and attentive. But the number one reason to book this venue is, without a doubt, THE FOOD! I work in food media, so having amazing food at my wedding was a priority. The cocktail hour absolutely blew us away. There were stations upon stations of food, including a raw bar, bacon bar, mac and cheese bar, and a grill station. Dinner was also delicious, as was the cake from Pastry Chef in Tinton Falls. Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour and the food in general. Throughout the night, Marlyn and her staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure that everything ran seamlessly. I felt so relaxed on my wedding day, and I know that's because I was in such great hands at the English Manor. We also loved the proximity to Asbury, Belmar and other beaches on the Jersey Shore. I did a lot of research before choosing a venue, and I can say with confidence that the English Manor also provides a great value — the whole event felt a lot more expensive than it was in reality. It's truly the perfect venue!

When I got engaged this was the first venue I visited. After booking another venue and losing my deposit due to Covid, I came back to the venue I originally wanted and knew confidently that my day would be magical and in good hands. Boy was I right! We just got married on 7.2.22 and my guests are still raving about the food, the venue inside & out & the convenient location. I primarily worked with Marlyn and she was amazing. There are not enough words to truly describe how incredible The English Manor is as a venue. We knew we felt at home the first time toured. Down to the last detail, Marlyn was extremely attentive and helpful in all aspects of our day. She was extremely organized and made us feel confident in putting our day in her hands from our first meetings to walking down the aisle. They were also very understanding and accommodating of our needs for accessibility, and had a solution for every question or detail that came up. Their entire staff was lovely and so attentive, making sure that we were all having an amazing time and that we had everything we needed at all times. Having a “one wedding at a time” venue made the ceremony and reception so intimate and incredible. It goes without saying that the grounds of the EM are the most picturesque and gorgeous setting for such a romantic day, and the ballroom is absolutely incredible! Between that and the food, we have so many of our family and friends still raving to us over how amazing our wedding was. Everything came together perfectly, even getting to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outside on an iffy weather day. The sun was shining and everything worked out wonderfully with their guidance!

It’s been three days since my wedding and everyone who was invited are still raving how beautiful the English Manor was. This venue is nothing short of amazing. We had the most beautiful ceremony, and the reception was top notch. This venue comes with so much while being extremely affordable! I barely had to bring in any decorations because they have everything, even centerpieces! The food is amazing, and there’s SO MUCH FOOD! The staff there is super knowledgeable, quick to answer any questions you have, and is with you every step of the way. My maitre’d Marlyn was super attentive, helped me with everything, and answered every question I had without hesitation and with a smile on her face. I can’t recommend the English Manor enough!

From the moment we walked into the English Manor, we felt like we were home. The warmth and kindness of the staff, the beauty of the rooms and the grounds, and the personal touches are all just small parts of why we know we made the right choice for our wedding day. The staff were so accommodating to us and truly listened to every single thing we asked for and mentioned what was important to us. The wait staff, the hospitality staff, kitchen staff, and management all treated us like family and that allowed us to fully trust them for our special day.The English Manor is absolutely a hidden gem and we have never seen or experienced another venue quite like it. Our wedding day was perfect, in the midst of a pandemic with many changing rules and regulations, Kristi and the staff made everything seamless and absolutely everything we dreamed of. If you are hesitant to pick a venue-we get it! But from the bottom of our hearts, The English Manor has something for everyone and they will not steer you wrong!

This place is a hidden gem! We specifically wanted a unique venue with a cozy garden vibe that did one wedding at a time and we fell in love with the grounds and people instantly. We had one other appointment at a different venue which happened to be on the same day we came here and as soon as we saw the other spot, we knew the English Manor was it for us. Lisa worked with us to find budget friendly options and to accomodate some very specific requests we had. Planning our wedding was very stressful as we were initially a Summer 2020 wedding that got postponed due to covid. The English Manor worked with us to change our wedding date and alter our contract for minimum guests. They answered all emails and calls very promptly and rescheduled weddings in a fair and organized way. On the day of our wedding, Marlyn was out maitre'd and went above and beyond for us. She met with us prior to the wedding to get a sense of what we wanted and she definitely prioritized what we discussed. She single handedly kept everything moving on schedule despite many issues coming up with other vendors the day of the wedding. When we missed cocktail hour due to photos running late, she had a table brought to us with all of our favorites from cocktail hour to snack on while finishing up family pictures. She checked in with us multiple times during the day, especially when we were starting to run off schedule and stood up for me when she saw other vendors setting things up in a way I clearly would not have wanted. Despite all the chaos that went on, she kept everything running on time and made sure we had a great time. The food was amazing (we still have guests commenting on that filet mignon), our garden ceremony was everything we wanted, and the ballroom was absolutely gorgeous. Look no further, this venue is amazing!

My husband and I got married here on November 28th, 2021. We were originally supposed to get married on October 4th, 2020. Like most couples, that changed due to covid. The English Manor was MORE than accommodating, kept us up to date every step of the way and answered any questions we had promptly. When the time came closer to our November date and we finally met our maitre'd Kristi, everything began to fall into place. On the day of our wedding, my husband and I were blown away. It was truly everything we imagined it to be and more. The grounds, the food, the service, everything was AMAZING! So many of our guests, both during and after, told us how beautiful our wedding was. We got many compliments about how great the food was and how amazing the staff was. Kristi remembered every little detail and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our day. If you're unsure of a venue for your wedding, have it at the English Manor. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I can not speak highly enough of The English Manor. Our maitre d Kristi was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She made our vision for our wedding come true and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend working with Kristi! All of the staff was excellent. We would not change a single detail about our wedding thanks to The English Manor. They kept the grounds beautiful, the sound system was amazing, and the staff did not miss any details. Dinner was on time and all of our guests felt cared for. Our guests have continuously commented on the perfection of the venue and the staff. The English Manor is one of those unassuming places from the outside, then you get inside and it’s like you’ve entered another world. It was a total last-minute addition when my mom and I were looking at venues and it was the only one that I immediately dragged my (now) husband back to – that same day! The reception room is beautiful and the grounds (garden, patio, deck) are gorgeous! We wish we had been able to have the cocktail hour on the patio, but you know summer in Jersey (need I say more?). But we were able to have the ceremony outside and our guests definitely enjoyed the covered deck during cocktail hour. The food was so good and there was SO much of it – so many guests actually asked me if there really was dinner after the cocktail hour. Tinton Falls Pastry Chef’s cake was one of the best wedding cakes I’ve ever had. After all the confusion and uncertainty of postponing/rescheduling a wedding during a pandemic, Kristi was amazing to work with as maître d’! She was upbeat, organized, and always there if I had an issue (before the wedding and of course on the day of). Kristi thinks of all the little details, sets any decorations up beautifully, and packs everything up neatly to take home at the end of the night.We’re so glad we waited to finally be able party it up here!

The English Manor is the definition of a \"hidden gem\"! My wife and I could not have possibly wanted anything more. The garden is absolutely beautiful along with the cocktail hour patio and the newly refinished ball room. The staff was proven to go above and beyond to make sure every guest was taken care of. Our maitre d' Marlyn was fantastic! The food is incredibly delicious. The cocktail hour choices, the main meal and the cake (which is made by Tinton Falls Pastry Chef) were A+++. 1000000 Stars. I don't even know where to start. The best day of our lives, all thanks to the WONDERFUL staff at the English Manor! We fell in love with this place the second we pulled up. We booked in Feb of 2020, right before the world shut down. Planning a wedding with so many ups and downs was terrifying, but we knew we were in the best hands - whatever happened. Communication was always easy and Kristi is simply amazing. We were so thrilled when we were told she'd be our Maitre D. She literally became a friend to us during our planning and we couldn't have imagined our day without her. The food was PHENOMENAL, the staff was SO friendly and kind.. the grounds and ballroom are stunning. It was everything we've ever dreamed of and more. To put it simply, I can't recommend this venue enough!

How do I even put into words how incredible the staff at English Manor is? From the moment we walked in on a rainy January afternoon we felt at home! The charming atmosphere of the manor mixed with its trendy amenities made us feel like we just stepped into a fairytale.Although, Covid forced us to reschedule our wedding, never once did we feel the stress and anxiety we heard from other couples planning to get married during this time. From upbeat phone calls assuring us our day would be worth the wait, to prompt email responses when we had questions, Kristi was phenomenal!!!Fast forward to July 24, 2021 a day that will be forever considered, the best day of our lives! The entire day felt like a dream. I still can not get over how this venue completely exceeded our expectations! From the outrageous food to the beautiful grounds surrounding the outdoor cocktail hour, our guests are still raving about our wedding a month later! We we’re humbled by so many saying this was “the best wedding they’ve ever attended.” There was not a simple touch missing. We just married here yesterday and I could not get on here and write a review soon enough. To say that it was incredible is an understatement, it was FLAWLESS. I don’t even know where to begin! The food was the best I’ve ever had, the decor was gorgeous, it was clean and perfectly arranged. Marlyn was a lifesaver because my bustle came undone and no one could fix it, there she was instantly to help and saved the day. She was so good at keeping us on task and getting us food and drinks. True story: I knew that I wanted to get married at the English Manor before I even got engaged. Just from seeing the pictures online I knew it was going to be the perfect venue. My husband and I visited and booked right after getting engaged and the rest was history. Our wedding on 7/16 was the absolute best day. Despite the stress that came with having to reschedule our date due to COVID, it was all worth it. Kristi was our maitre d and made sure my husband and I had the best day. She made sure that we got to try every cocktail hour food and brought it up to the suite for us so we could have a few minutes to ourselves. She also helped glue my shoes back together after they fell apart - she truly went above and beyond! Everything went so smoothly, I really didn't have to worry about anything that day. Our guests are still raving about the food and have said it is one of the best weddings they have ever been to.

If you need to pick a wedding venue - you MUST pick the English Manor. They by far exceeded any expectation that I had. My husband and I got married here on 6/25/2021 and a little over a month later, my guests are still raving about the venue, the grounds, the food, the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the reception, the drinks, and the service. Our Maitre D was Kristi and she went above and beyond with everything that she did to make our day more than perfect. Kristi answered every question we had, no matter what time of day and constantly put my mind at ease. Kristi is so personable too and she makes your finalization appointment stress free and so much fun and I felt like I knew her forever because she was so easy to talk to. Kristi guided us in picking out the delicious food selection for our guests, and even packed us up leftover dinners, which was amazing to enjoy the next few days later. The English Manor has the most beautiful grounds with breathtaking gardens to get married in. There were flowers everywhere, and tons of spots outdoors to take gorgeous photos in. We did our first look outside on the bridge that leads into the ceremony space. Our ceremony took place in the garden outside, followed by a cocktail hour on the deck/patio with a beautiful waterfall in the background. The English Manor has tons of options to offer for cocktail hour - we picked the boardwalk station, which was a guest favorite. The reception room is gorgeous, and looks even more amazing filled with all of your guests and all of your details perfected. There is also a room with a gorgeous stone fireplace and coffee table that you can decorate however you would like. A few days before the wedding, I dropped off a bunch of stuff to decorate with. Some of the stuff I wanted in specific places, but I also told Kristi to put some of it where she thought would look nice and I cried when I walked in the reception room. My vision came to life. My husband and I could not stop smiling all day and we owe it all to Kristi and the staff at the English Manor. Thank you for making our day PERFECT. You will not regret selecting the English Manor as your wedding venue!!!

WOW WOW WOW. The English Manor exceeded our expectations. We had to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID and moved out of Jersey right before our wedding. Kristi talked us through every step and was available via call, facetime whatever we needed. She was so on top of everything from the rehearsal and day of. She even packed up to go boxes for us to eat after the reception. The venue is wonderful with the ceremony in the gardens. No one will go hungry at the cocktail hour as they overload you with delicious food. We're still hearing complements about it! Just can't say enough good things about this venue.

I cannot even begin to explain how much we loved our wedding at The English Manor! We are still getting texts days later from guests raving about everything! Kristi was absolutely wonderful and made planning so easy and fun, especially during COVID! We weren't able to have a food tasting due to the pandemic so I had been a little nervous, but I shouldn't have wasted single moment worrying about it because the food was out of this world! We did the filet mignon and chicken juliette and everyone was thoroughly impressed. The whole day was absolutely magical from beginning to end and I 100% recommend this hidden gem to anyone who wants a personalized, one-of-a-kind wedding in an intimate setting!

PERFECTION! Kristie and The English Manor Crew went above and beyond not only on our Wedding Day but every single visit. From showing my parents to the tasting, and then the final visit the service was 5 stars and above! My husband (a foodie) missed the tasting so during our final visit Kristie had food sent up for him. Also, we wanted to surprise our guests with a second look and Kristie helped sneak us in to snap photos in the ballroom. We even had an emergency and Kristie and the staff handled it and kept the party moving right along. I cannot thank her and the staff enough for creating our beautiful dream wedding. My husband and I just got married yesterday and I felt so compelled to write our review ASAP. Our entire experience from the second we walked in 11 months before our wedding date was incredible. We had the privilege of working with a few different ladies through the planning process and they were each so helpful with all of my silly questions and concerns. As our wedding day approached we were absolutely blessed to meet and work with our Maître D, Kristi. Our day would not have been as amazing as it was if not for her... she was kind, helpful, understanding, and honestly just all around wonderful (my husband and I just keep saying we just want to be her friend lol). Every detail was executed flawlessly by all of the staff - from set up, to food, and all around friendliness. Before the night was over guests were continuously coming up to us to compliment the venue, staff, and food - which was INCREDIBLE. The presentation and taste blew us all away and I’m super grateful they sent us home with leftovers so we get to enjoy it twice! We’re seriously hoping a friend gets married there so we can experience the magic again. We were truly so blessed with our entire wedding day and are beyond happy our guests had just as much as we did. So many said it was the best wedding they have ever been to (and of course we agree)!!

My husband and I got married at The English Manor on 12/7/2019 and we cannot say enough great things about our experience. From the day we booked the venue (18 months ahead of time), until the day of our wedding, the service was incredible! There are a lot of horror stories out there about planning a wedding and everyone at The English Manor made it the easiest and smoothest process for us! They were always available to answer any questions beforehand either over the phone or email. We came to the venue multiple times to show our families and also for our menu tasting, and the staff was always welcoming and professional. On the day of our wedding, The English Manor staff really made the day go flawlessly. Our Maitre D Marlyn went above and beyond for us and she was truly amazing! She was so organized and detail oriented and she made our vision for our wedding day come to life. Our head waitress Silvana was so attentive and made sure we always had food and drinks with us throughout the night. Not only were we impressed with the service, but our guests raved about the service we received. We have had so many people compliment the service the night of our wedding and for the days following.Not only was the service incredible – but the food was outstanding! The English Manor was super accommodating to dietary restrictions and they were able to slightly tailor our menu to adjust for that. We are so grateful for that and could not believe the quality and how great everything tasted! The cocktail hour food was incredible and so were the entrees! Our guests were so impressed by the taste and the endless options throughout the night!The grounds were decorated for Christmas and it was the perfect touch for our winter wedding! The staff did a great job decorating and we hardly needed any decorations of our own. The venue is absolutely stunning both inside and out!We had such a wonderful experience & would recommend The English Manor to anyone! If you’re looking for a top tier wedding venue that truly goes above and beyond, this is the place for you! I had my wedding here this past November and let me tell you I have never received so many compliments from my guests! Lisa & of course our Matre D Kristi, were BEYOND AMAZING! The outdoor space was everything I was looking for & the inside was even better! The new reception room was gorgeous, especially with the changing of lights to the color of your choice. The food was AMAZING, my guests couldn't stop raving about it & the service with just so professional & on point! When you needed a drink Kristi was there with one in your hand for you! I can not even explain how perfect everything was! Kristi made my vision come true with the setup of all the decor I made. I like to THANK Kristi most of all for answering all my emails & texts, but also THANK YOU to the whole staff that made that day the most memorable of my life! Absolutely incredible!! Lisa and her team does an amazing job. Kristi went above and beyond every step of the way to make everything about the day flawless! I couldn’t not have ask for a better venue especially for the price! They were able to work with you and make the day exactly what you want! Also the food was phenomenal, also they are affiliated with Clark’s Landing so they provide second dinners to their guests. From all of the big details to all of the little ones, our day was perfect because of Kristi. Also our pork roll sandwich exit station/favor was a huge hit!

I wish I could go back in time and redo our wedding day over and over! Our wedding day at the English Manor was absolutely perfect! The outside ceremony was beautiful and the cocktail hour is still being talked about! Our guests said that they were so full from cocktail hour that they barely made it through dinner. The food just kept coming out and it was delicious!The service was exceptional! All of the waiters were very attentive to our guests and you never had to wait for a beverage :) Above all I have to thank our Maitre d’Kristi for all of her patience, time, and care throughout our entire experience. Leading up to the big day she was always available to help and answer all of my questions. I had so many details/decorations to be set up and she made everything so beautiful. She always checked in on me making sure I was okay throughout the entire day! I feel so lucky that I was able to work with her for our wedding day! It was everything I hoped it would be and more! I definitely recommend the English Manor for your wedding day!

The English Manor nailed it. We had our wedding in August ‘19 and could not recommend the English Manor any more. From our very first visit, we knew the English Manor was our dream location. The grounds are beautiful for outdoor ceremonies and outdoor cocktail hours (natural and not too manicured which was great since we wanted a rustic feel) and the inside ballroom was just recently updated. It’s tasteful, classic and not overly lavish (again, something we were looking for - we wanted an authentic and non-pretentious feel). The food was downright delectable and we still have friends and family talking about how much they loved certain items 3 months later! The funny thing is that each person who raves about the food seems to have a different item that they enjoyed most. This showed us that the food all-around was excellent and not just a few select items. The English Manor also allowed us to do a taste testing with our parents which seems to be rare these days and was a much added bonus (and also fun!). The dance floor is a little on the smaller end for 150 people but we also had a big dancing crowd in which a good 50% of people consistently danced the entire night. The smaller dance floor made it look somewhat full but we saw this as a positive because it felt lively! Last but not least, the staff and especially our maitre’d Kristi Lippiello were incredible! These people love to put on weddings and it shows! They made our day so special and worry-free by taking care of all of the details - even ones we missed ourselves. Everyone was lovely to work with and Kristi was very accessible and knew how to put a bride at ease. Looking back, it’s surreal how stress-free our wedding experience was - the wedding day itself and the months leading up to it - and this was in large part due to the English Manor. Again, we cannot recommend this place any more. Other than our decision to marry each other, our selection of the English Manor as our wedding venue was the best decision we made for our wedding day!

We worked with a number of different people - Alex, Victoria, and Kristi (our amazing Matre D') - and each and every one of them was wonderful. My daughter's wedding was an absolutely amazing wedding from start to finish. The grounds are beautiful and just perfect for an outdoor ceremony at the gazebo followed by a spectacular cocktail hour on the deck and surrounding waterfall patio. The reception took place in the elegant ballroom. Kristi, our maitre 'd was truly incredible. She handled all of the details from beginning to end for a flawless presentation. The entire staff worked as a team to provide our guests with the service that one would expect at a wedding. The food was so plentiful and truly delicious! The guests are still raving and some have said that it was the best wedding that they ever attended! We had 150 guests, but the space is capable to handle more than that amount. From the moment the bridal party arrived, we were welcomed and attended to by Kristi and her team. The arriving guests were also greeted by Kristi and attended to with a Welcome Bar and a Goodbye Bar! The ballroom is beautiful with understated elegance. The large dance floor and creative lighting options helped to make it a truly fun evening! The liquor flowed at the open bar and was attended to by the very capable bartenders. I will emphasize that The English Manor which hosts one wedding at a time was absolutely the perfect choice for my daughter's wedding. Many, many thanks to the entire English Manor staff!

The English Manor was one of the last venues we looked at and I'm SO GLAD we found it. Honestly, look no further than this place. From our first meeting, we always felt so well taken care of. They should really pride themselves on their \"one-wedding-at-a-time\" mantra. During any meeting, call, email exchange, our tasting, and the reception itself, we always felt like we had the staffs full attention. We never felt like any request was too much or that we were asking too many questions. Our maitre d, Marlyn, was one of a kind & made sure our vision came to life, everything ran smoothly, & that our guests (particularly our families & wedding party) were well taken care of. The reception, ceremony, and cocktail hour spaces are beautiful. The bridal & groomsmen suites are also an awesome perk. The food was FANTASTIC. My now husband is a chef so the food quality was important and The English Manor more than delivered. All of our guests raved about it. The cocktail hour had a lot of variety & everything was delicious. The reception dinner was out of this world & the french-style service is such a unique touch that all of our guests loved. I've been to around 10 weddings in the past couple of years and honestly you really can't beat The English Manor's package. Not to mention the all-inclusive bar selection. Also, I'd like to note that The English Manor is close enough to the shore that we were able to do first look & wedding photos on the Asbury Park boardwalk before our evening ceremony. You really can't beat the location - it's close enough to the shore to do pre & post wedding activities but it's far enough away that you don't have to deal with the crowds. Truly, The English Manor was one of the best decisions we ever made.

All I can say is WOW! This place had it all, location, food, and staff were out of this world. Our whole family was impressed by how professional everything was done throughout our whole wedding process. To start the outside grounds are just absolutely stunning. We had a summer wedding and the outside was the most amazing backdrop of our ceremony and cocktail hour.The food was beyond impeccable and impressive. I’ve been to many weddings where I have left hungry and disappointed. Let me tell you there wasn’t one thing I ate that was not delicious. From the apps to the dinner and dessert, our guests all raved about how delicious everything was.Lastly, the staff. I was so lucky to have gotten to work with Kristi as my maître d’. She went above and beyond her duties and made our day truly so special. She was beyond sweet and caring and really made us feel right at home. The food (people still talk about our cocktail hour), the new room (stunning!) and the sequence of the entire day was sheer perfection. Anything we needed/wanted was answered. I could not boast enough about this venue. They will make your dream day come true.

Saturday, July 13, 2019 my daughter, Katie and her fiance’ Chris got married and the reception was at the English Manor. I can’t say enough about the beautiful venue The English Manor is. Their maitre d Kristi greeted the bridal party and took care of their wants and needs. She was wonderful, nothing was ever a problem for Kristi, from the planning stages to the end of the evening.The bridal party took pictures on the beautiful grounds at the English Manor. One of the many reasons we picked the English Manor was to take pictures on the grounds, from the front with the stately manor look, the antique barn doors to the back with the bridge, the gazebo , the waterfall set in an amazing garden of flowers and foliage. When they finished the bridal party pictures they joined their guests at the Welcome Bar set up in the Garden Room. The Welcome Bar was a huge hit for guest who arrived early. The cocktail hour was outside on the great patio where the food was plentiful and delicious and the drinks were flowing. Dinner was served in the elegant ballroom. Dinner was amazing, every option was delicious. Guest were raving how good the food was! The bride and groom cut the cake and dessert was served. The cake was delicious and included in the package. The bride had picked the cake she wanted at a cake tasting with about 12 options. Also, mini ice cream cones were served on a bed of sprinkles and pastries were placed on each table. The servers, the bartenders, and all staff at the English Manor were professional, friendly, and attentive. I would like to thank Lisa, the owner, for such an amazing venue. A special thank you to Kristi who paid so much attention to detail and kept the day and evening running smoothly in her sweet and friendly way.I am so glad we had our daughter’s wedding at the English Manor. The guests comments were, “best wedding”, “so much fun”, “had a great time”, “food was amazing”, “best wedding I’ve ever been to”, as they were passing the exit station with pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwiches wrapped up so the guests could take one home!Amazing, Incredible night!Debbie--Mother of the Bride

My Husband Travis and I just got married at The English Manor on 4/27/19. I am not even sure where to begin.... We had the absolute BEST experience with this venue, and all of the staff. From the moment we visited this venue we knew it was the one. The grounds and landscaping are absolutely breathtaking. The staff was so welcoming and such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Kristi was our matrid, and we were SO LUCKY to have her!! She was so responsive to all of our questions at all times of the day, she made sure that we were able to have moments throughout the night to take a look around and just appreciate the celebration with family and friends. The food was magnificent... we had many guests reach out to us since the wedding complimenting the cocktail hour, and the reception food. Many of our guests also told us that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, which was the best compliment we could ever receive. THANK you to everyone at the English Manor for making our wedding day perfect. I recommend this venue to any/everyone!

If you want a top-notch wedding experience, look no further!I just had my wedding reception at The English Manor on 3/30/19. I wish I could give this place a 100-star review. Every, single part -from the day we booked to the moment we drove away - was incredible. The service is superb. We worked with Alex during the booking process and the food tasting. Any question I had, she was quick to respond. So friendly and personable, she made us feel like she knew us forever. Kristi was our maitre'd for the wedding and she helped with the final details, cake tasting and execution of the event. As the day was approaching, I found myself having a lot of little questions. Kristi went out of her way to answer them and was so lovely about it all. Everyone we worked with seemed to really enjoy their job and genuinely cared about making our wedding the most special day for us. I felt so comfortable trusting all of the people at EM to make my wedding vision come to life. In addition to the service, the food was amazing. We both come from families who have high standards for food, and we were beyond satisfied. We opted to upgrade to the filet mignon and we were so glad that we did. Everyone in attendance was raving for days after about the wedding, especially the food. Silvana was our head waitress, and she made us feel so taken care of. She checked on us frequently throughout the night; we never wanted for anything all night. The grounds are well kept and the inside was always so clean every time we came to drop off something or attend a tasting. When we first walked in, it had a home-like feeling that felt right for us. The place is fancy and elegant in addition to being cozy and intimate. The ballroom is newly renovated to include beautiful decor and an updated sound/light system. If you're looking for an amazing wedding experience, look no further!

We just had our wedding here on Sunday, April 28, 2019. It was the most perfect day. Everyone raved over the Mac cheese, the sliders, the dinner, and of course our surprise pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches as a late night snack. Everything went flawlessly. I knew when I picked this venue I would be happy if the ceremony was inside or outside, but my dreams came true and I was able to have my outside ceremony. The grounds are so beautiful. All the pictures we took don’t do the place justice. My only wish is that we could have taken more leftovers because everything was so delicious!! Marlyn was a great marite'd - always there whenever I needed her. I am so happy to be a part of the EM family 💕

It took me so long to write this review because I cannot put into words how amazing the English Manor was for our wedding day. I knew from the moment that we first visited the venue that it was the “one”. I am lucky to have grown up with Kristi, our Maitre D’ and coordinator through our whole wedding process, and I truly couldn’t think of a better person for the job. She answered every question I had from the moment we booked all throughout the day of our wedding and is the kindest person you will ever meet. Whatever we needed during the wedding day, she made happen- no question or hesitation. Kristi and the whole EM staff are so incredibly knowledgeable and talented at what they do. No stone went unturned throughout the whole process to make sure the day went smoothly. I never felt like I had to figure anything out on our own because they had it covered. They are constantly updating and working to ensure they are top-notch. Between the time we booked and our wedding day, they had renovated the ballroom, finished the patio, and added uplighting! The grounds our breathtaking and we were lucky to be able to do our first look, ceremony, and cocktail hour outside (although the inside is really just as beautiful). The food is honestly the BEST and there’s so much of it! Our guests were super impressed with everything- cocktail hour, our special food stations, the seconds passed around at dinner, and the little ice cream cones! Our head waitress made sure we were always eating and drinking as well. They worked awesome with our vendors and made the day perfect. I knew the second I walked in to The English Manor during our venue tours that it would be the perfect place to get married. Our wedding day was just that the most perfect day at the most perfect place! The entire staff was so amazing and accommodating. They made sure to be there when you needed them but also allowed you to have some time and space. I can not say enough great things about Kristi who helped organize and keep me sane all night! She is so sweet,calm and helpful and knew exactly what to do and say to make the night go so smoothly. We received so many compliments on the food,decor and scenic look of the manor. It was truly the most majestic night and exceeded every expectation I could ever of imagined!

I got married on 11/30/18 at the English Manor and it was everything I have ever dreamed of. From the moment my fiancé and I walked into the EM, we knew it was the venue we wanted. The customer service was amazing... from Lisa, to Alex, to Marlyn — everyone was very attentive and eager to help. They made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Our guests also raved about how great the food was. We are so happy that we chose the EM to celebrate our wedding day and I would highly recommend this venue!!!

My husband and I got married here on October 14th. We had visited many venues, approximately 10 before we decided on The English Manor and we are so happy we did. I had visited the English Manor over a year in advance and it was the last venue I saw before making the big decision. As soon as I walked in I knew this was going to be the one. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. It fit our vision perfectly...it had a rustic feel, small but in BIG way, quaint & cozy. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, and the beautiful mums were in full bloom, perfect for our outdoor October wedding. Throughout the planning process, I had returned to the venue many times when I was visiting from Miami. Everyone was always so nice and accommodating with the limited time I had in town. On the day of , our Maitre D' was Marlyn. She was amazing . Unfortunately, we had a small family related hiccup right before I walked down the aisle, but Marlyn handled it so professionally and managed to calm my nerves. Other than that the wedding went off without a hitch. My husband and I had one request, and that was that he NEEDED to eat every piece of food that was offered lol. He made it clear that he did not want to miss out on the cocktail hour food and Marlyn made sure that our bellies didn't go hungry the entire night. Our glasses and plates were always full. She not only made sure we were fed, but at one point of the night my wedding dress bustle had broke and she came running to the rescue with safety pins in hand. Everyone of our guests are still raving about the food! We had the Filet Mignon and Chicken entrees and the steak was cooked to perfection! It reminded my husband and I of a steak we would order at a highend steak house like Smith and Wollensky or Capital Grille. Us along with everyone else were thoroughly surprised. I cannot begin to tell you the amount of people who thought that cocktail hour was all the food that they were going to consume that evening. People nearly fell off their chairs when we told them that that wasn't even the entree lol. At the end of the reception I didn't have to worry about a thing. Marlyn and the rest of The English Manor did all of the cleanup and even stored all of our wedding decor in storage until we returned from our honeymoon. I would recommend The English Manor 1000x over. We are hoping to one day be invited to a wedding there so we could enjoy the venue as guests. The English Manor is absolutely perfect in every way.

The grounds itself were beautiful and we fell in love with it immediately even though it was on a cold, gray January day! And I can’t thank our maitre’d Marlyn enough. She made our day so easy. We had the privileged of having our wedding at The English Manor on September 15, 2018. We had Marlyn as our maitre’d and she was absolutely amazing. Marlyn was in contact with us almost daily from the month prior to our wedding up to 2 hours before we showed up for our wedding reception. We ended up having a lot of changes to our seating chart/guest counts and we couldn’t thank Marlyn enough for all of her patience and hard work in making our day perfect. I would not change a thing about our wedding day mainly because Marlyn made everything at our reception how we dreamed for it to be! Anyone is lucky to have Marlyn as their maitre’d for their wedding, she truly made our wedding dreams come true! As for the venue itself, the food was phenomenal from cocktail hour to dessert. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept and the outdoor cocktail hour area really made for a great experience. Everyone we have spoken to since the wedding had absolutely nothing but great things to say about The English Manor. We would recommend that anyone considering The English Manor as their wedding venue not to think twice about it, this is the place where you will have the wedding of your dreams.

We got married on a beautiful fall day - September 29, 2018. All I can say is, our guests our still saying how great the food was! We went for a buffet option which really kept the guests moving and on the dance floor. It was a seamless transition from cocktail hour to reception. So. Much. Good. Food! Kristi was our Maitre'D and was prompt with her responses throughout the planning process and then also took care of me and Ryan and gave us the 5-star treatment on our wedding night. The ballroom was recently redone (new wall paper, window treatments, chandeliers and up-lighting - and it looks AMAZING!) Airy, elegant feel - but not too big where you feel you're in a crowded room, felt like an intimate party with our 156 guests -- who all fit extremely comfortably!

Absolutely phenomenal is the only way I can start this review after arriving back from our wedding. Kristine our maitre de was absolute fantastic and beyond professional. The staff there is the most professional I have ever seen and were all dressed professional and with courteous service. Alex who originally helped set up the details of our wedding was so courtesy and helpful with any questions we had. The food was absolutely phenomenal and we were complemented by each guest about how good the food and the variety of food for both the cocktail and reception periods. Personally we had a stir fry bar(which includes sushi) and Caribbean bar which were delicious and raved about by everyone. Other choices we available were a mash potato bar and an antipasto bar. They offer several choices for dinner ranging from chicken and beef to a variety of fish along with vegatarian and vegan meals upon request. The ballroom is beautiful with custom color lighting available (usually additional expense through your entertainment) for whatever the occasion may call for. They have their own sound system installed that makes it easy for DJ's to integrate and run the occasion. They have the ability to go strobe those lights and get the place really going. The exterior decor is just as beautiful with well manicured gardens, beautiful paver pathways with small touches such as a stream, a waterfall and a quaint gazebo for ceremonies. The exterior porch is very nice and accessible with tables and food stations for your outdoor cocktail hour. The building is self is literally an old English manor dripping with history.I understand there may be some sticker shock upon seeing the price pre person but it was absolutely worth it. They run off season specials throughout the year which can be real prizes since they usually include a dj and photography special thrown in. We had a modest size wedding(approximately 125 guest) and they all fit comfortable in the ballroom with room to spare and plenty of room to dance and enjoy ourselves. There was a small incident with the decor we brought that was beyond their control. I was notify about the incident approximately 9am and they had a solution for it no later then noon the same day. Upon arrival, the repaired decor was perfect.in appearance. Alex and Kristine both gave additional recommendstions for additional services(Entertainment, photography ND video graph) that were top notch and made the day that much less stressful. Her Communication with her staff, the entertainment staff, the photography staff, the videography staff and the bride and groom was impeccable and unbelievably.Finding service like that which was provided for our wedding day is not easy to come by and is one of those little attention to detail that is understated in the service industry. Again I cannot express how cohesive the crew of The English Manor are and their work with us to make our day the absolute best day we could ever have imagined.P. S. If you can coax Kristine onto the dance floor, she's a heck of a dancer 😉😉

My now husband found the English Manor online after we got engaged last summer and suggested we go for a tour. We immediately fell in love with it, it’s so beautiful and charming and we felt so comfortable there. Every single staff member we dealt with, from our maitr’d Marlyn to Kristi and Alex during the planning process, was SO helpful, sweet and professional. The whole team is great at what they do and make you feel so well taken care of the entire time. Our wedding was the best day of my life thanks to the English Manor, Marlyn and the rest of the staff. The day was so perfect and they pay such close attention to each and every detail to make sure it was everything I wanted and more. They go above and beyond in every aspect and it was all truly amazing from the planning to the tastings, the cake, everything. Their wonderful staff members accompanied me in the hours leading up to the ceremony, made sure I ate during the cocktail hour and reception, and just made the day go so perfectly. The food and service at both the cocktail hour and reception was INCREDIBLE and my guests are still raving about it (definitely get the filet mignon!). Marlyn really took care of everything, coordinated with my vendors, was so sweet and accommodating during the planning and I couldn’t have been happier. Richard and I were married at the EM on 8.31.18 and it was everything we dreamed of and more! Kristi, Lisa, and the entire EM staff are beyond amazing and extremely professional. All of our guests raved about how pretty the venue was and how incredible the food was. We even had guests who said it was the best wedding food they have ever had! From the moment we walked into the EM, we were very impressed with the beauty of the recently updated ballroom, the lush gardens in the ceremony area and the large outdoor patio for cocktail hour. Kristi is the BEST and had everything handled from start to finish. She was super friendly, easy to communicate with and was a step ahead of all of our needs. Our wedding day, July 14th, was truly the best day eva'!!! Kristi was awesome. She was accommodating, friendly, easy-going, and met all of our needs. For example, 2 of our guest were stuck on the train for hours and arrived very late. Even though dinner was over, I asked Kristi if she could help them out with any food, and sure enough no problem! Our guests raved about the food, the venue, and the service. I want to go back as someone's guest, so I can enjoy the cocktail hour! My husband and I got married at The English Manor on June 9, 2018 and honestly had the best day of our lives. I don’t even know if I can fit everything I want to say about this venue in one review, but I’ll try! From the moment we walked in during our visits to venues, we immediately felt at ease and knew this would be the one. Everything about it was perfect….the bridge to the ceremony spot, the outdoor cocktail hour, the reception room, the service….honestly every single detail was PERFECT. Even when we had seen it in the dead of winter we could imagine how wonderful it would be in June and it was! The level of professionalism from the staff is out of this world; their attention to every single detail and making sure everything was perfect is a bride’s dream. Everyone I interacted with: Alex, Kristy, Marlyn-they all treated us like we were their most important guests. The entire evening was perfect and the food was INCREDIBLE!!!! We get compliments on how gorgeous and delicious everything was! We got married here on June 22, 2018 and Kristy was our maitre de. WHERE DO WE EVEN BEGIN?!! The English Manor is absolutely breathtaking. They care a lot about the venue and are always upgrading it and making sure the greenery is absolutely perfect. Even more than that, they really care about each couple that they host a wedding for. Kristy is truly phenomenal at what she does. We felt comfortable throughout the entire process and honestly just so happy. The food is also amazing!!! Their staff is amazing as well. The waitress that was responsible for us as the bride and groom went absolutely above and beyond to make sure we had a full drink and everything that we needed the entire night. The atmosphere there is one of love, laughter, and light. From start to finish, our process there was perfect. It was a little rainy on our day and we weren't sure if we would be able to have the ceremony outside. Kristy kept us calm and collected throughout a very stressful and upsetting time and assured us she would do everything she could so that we could have the ceremony outside, and we did! She was available any time we needed her on the days leading up to teh wedding and was absolutely outstanding on the day of our wedding. We had our dream wedding at our dream venue and truly couldn't have had a better experience! My only suggestion would be to bring the craft beer station into the reception from cocktail hour so that guests can continue to enjoy it throughout the night. Love, Alissa and Bill

The English Manor was the fourth venue (out of four) that we went to check out in one day. It is no exaggeration that from the moment we walked in, we had a feeling we found the one. It was charming and \"homey\" in aesthetic from the outside, and once inside, the space still feels grand but also personal and intimate. The fireplace room is a really nice touch and we loved being able to decorate it as if it was our own living room.The outdoor space is beautiful and roomy - unfortunately both our ceremony and cocktail hour had to be held inside due to rain. While it was still wonderful, we know the feeling would have been a bit different if the events were outdoors surrounded by trees and the fresh florals. In our opinion the ONLY thing that would have made our wedding better is if we made it outside as planned. Still, the team was so very accommodating and kept us updated with monitoring the weather - and they were also so quick to flip the reception room to prepare for dinner seating after the ceremony.My husband and I signed our contract before we ever had a taste of the food - so we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. Turns out it was the best (we did later do a tasting) - even during cocktail hour itself, guests were coming up to us just to tell us how amazing the food was. Now a month since the wedding, one of the most common compliments we've gotten from our guests about the wedding in general is that it was the best food they've ever eaten at a wedding - ever. Including both cocktail hour and our buffet dinner.We were SO thrilled that Kristi specifically was assigned as our maitre'd since she had given us our first tour and we had been communicating with her for months already since the first time we walked in to see EM. She is such a delightful person, so helpful and patient, and exactly the type of person you want to help ensure everything goes smoothly on the big day.It's been a month since our wedding and we can't believe it - we wish the wedding day itself was 10 hours longer, ha! We keep saying that we hope we can convince our friends to get married there so that we can attend an English Manor reception one day as guests to fully enjoy the experience. :)I can't recommend EM enough and am so glad to be an EM bride.

From the moment my fiance, Vincent, and I walked into the English Manor we were given the star treatment. We felt like celebrities as we walked with Kristi (our future maitre'd) into the hallway that led to not only a beautiful and homey fireplace room, but also a glorious ballroom. If the venue tour ended there, we would've still left with a huge smile on our faces and a venue in our hearts - BUT - Kristi opened up a back door and walked us to the garden. The garden - a private oasis of trees, a brook, and greenery - served as the perfect background to our wedding portraits. Next to the garden, is a spacious desk adorned with a beautiful waterfall that my guests absolutely loved for our cocktail hour. Once we had our food tasting, it was officially a done deal. We booked the venue and on the wedding day, had the greatest reception, photos, and meal that I could've ever planned for. Kristi and the English Manor were A+++.

We looked at probably 10 venues in the area and I'm so glad we chose The English Manor for our April 28 wedding. The venue's grounds and food are fabulous, and prices are reasonable. The staff was amazing and our Maitre D Marlyn was the best! I didn't feel that well during cocktail hour and she went above and beyond to help me feel better in time for the reception to start. She was also completely nice about it and understanding. The English Manor team was flexible and helped us add items we wanted to include a craft beer table and cigar table after dinner. Weeks later we are still getting compliments from our guests about the venue. I hope we get invited to a wedding here in the future so we can enjoy it all over again!

We were married at the English Manor on April 21, 2018 and I don’t even know if I can truly express my appreciation in a review, but I will try. The English Manor is simply amazing. I had a hard time finding a venue because nothing gave me the feeling I was looking for, until the English Manor. From the second we walked in, I knew I had to be married there. The grounds are beautiful, it’s charming, and intimate. Being there is only one wedding there at a time, all focus is on you and your guests! The staff at the EM was wonderful right from the start. They didn’t miss a beat leading up to or during the wedding. Kristi was awesome to work with, she is energetic, extremely accommodating and made the whole process stress free! I was in constant contact with her in the weeks leading up to the wedding and she made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with, even when there were three weddings the same weekend! On top of all that, the food was DELICIOUS and abundant. The feeling of having all your guests rave about the atmosphere and food after all the planning is so rewarding! Thank you to the entire EM staff for making our day perfect and for being such a big part of our forever, we couldn’t have done it without you !

My husband and I got married at the English Manor on April 8, 2018 and it was such a perfect day. We were blown away by the English manor, as were our guests. We got endless compliments on every aspect of our wedding throughout the night, especially the venue and the excellent (and endless amount) of food! And what would i do without Marlyn? I can’t say enough how accommodating and patient she was during the wedding planning process. She answered all of my questions with ease and I can truly say I will miss talking to her! My husband and I feel so lucky to have chosen such an amazing venue with the nicest staff and gorgeous location who made our special day absolutely perfect!

If you are still looking for a wedding venue, look no further! The English Manor surpassed every dream and expectation we had for our wedding day. From the moment we walked in the doors, we knew we needed to have our wedding there. Not only was the facility beautiful, but the food was outstanding and the staff was exceptional! We had to plan our wedding from overseas in England and The English Manor made the process so easy and seamless. Our Maitre Dei, Marilyn, was in constant contact with us and eased any concerns. Marilyn and Kristy were like superheros solving everything before we even needed to worry! The day of our wedding was perfect without a single hiccup during the day and I wholeheartedly attribute that to The English Manor's amazing facility and staff. Thank you for your part in making a lifelong memory!

I could not have even dreamed for a more beautiful wedding for myself and my husband. This was the first venue we went to look at and right away we knew. I had chills it just felt so perfect, and just so us. The day we visited was snowing and everything was lit up with lights. We were sold right then on having a winter wedding and at the English We went to look at other venues but before we did we decided not to bother. We knew this was where we wanted to get married.Throughout the wedding planning the staff was very helpful with any questions that we had. Kristi was always so helpful. I truly appreciated all of her help during the wedding planning.Marlyn, our Maitre d was absolutely amazing. She was so accommodating in the weeks that led up to the wedding and knowing we were in great hands took away a lot of the stress of the days leading up to the wedding so we could relax and just be excited that the wedding would be here before we knew it. Every single one of the staff was great! We had such an amazing wedding. Our guests were so happy and had a great time. The food was all so delicious! We still keep being told how great of a time everyone had, how much they loved the food and also so many of our guests our recommending this venue to other people.I honestly had the best time of my life on our wedding day. Marlyn and the staff kept making sure that me and my husband were having a great time and we really did. I very strongly suggest to anyone looking for a venue to check out the English Manor. It's absolutely a beautiful, romantic venue.We would not change a thing about our wedding day.

Looking for a venue in New Jersey can be extremely overwhelming to say the least. After visiting 9 venues we walked into the English Manor and they seemed to have everything we were looking for. We found that most venues either offered a fabulous ambiance with a limited food package or a fabulous food package but extremely outdated ambiance. To us, the English Manor offered the perfect mix of both. The staff was extremely accommodating to our every want and need. Denise did a fantastic job making our vision come to life! She was always available in the weeks leading up to the wedding and made sure we were treated like royalty the night of our wedding. The food was fantastic and our guests were so impressed when the staff came around with huge platters of second options during the main course! Highly recommend the English Manor to all brides and grooms looking for premiere service, excellent variety of food options, and a day they will remember forever!

Chris and I were married on December 30, 2017 at the English Manor. Everything leading up to our wedding day and the day itself went extremely well. The English Manor team truly made things so simple from supplying the photographer as part of a package and we also were able to choose our deejay (Billy from Wedding Set Go) from \"outside of the package.\" Chris arrived a few hours early and was able to get dressed in the beautiful Bridal Suite and than Cindy and Chris (photographers from Elite Entertainment) started taking the photographs. We were blessed with having an inch or two of snow that ended less than a half hour prior to us taking the photos. We had many family members that we wanted to be in photographs and the photographers and the English Manor staff were just so accommodating. We then had our ceremony right in the Ball Room with Debbie Zurey \"marrying us.\" Following the ceremony we went right into the cocktail hour. The food in the cocktail hour was scrumptious. Many of the guests thought that the cocktail hour food was all of the food for the evening and were more than happy with both the selection and the quality of the food which included fresh ham, mashed potatoes, coconut shrimp, and at least another 10 hors d'oeuvres . The bartenders, Joe and Dan, were just so friendly and professional. The waiting staff were truly wonderful as Chris and I had plates of food and drinks available to us at all times. Our maitre d, Denise, was always making sure that Chris and I were treated like royalty.Immediately following the cocktail hour our guests were invited into the Ball Room and then Chris and I were escorted in by our adult children. We were immediately led onto the dance floor and from that point forward we experienced the fastest and most wonderful 4 hours being surrounded by family and friends. Billy had everyone out dancing just about the entire night. Next we sat down for our meals of prime rib and salmon which we and our guests enjoyed. The wait staff then brought out seconds for those still left with any type of appetite. After dinner there were ice cream cones handed out by the wait staff and then they served a fantastic wedding cake (strawberry filling with whip cream icing). Small carrot cake and chocolate covered strawberries were also served with the wedding cake. An expresso and liquor cart was then brought out for guests to enjoy. Chris and I have continued to receive compliments about the entire experience and I HIGHLY recommend the English Manor to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The entire staff (including the nice woman checking coats) made our day such a special one!Thank you to the English Manor management for making our wedding experience such a great one! Lisa has a great team and we thank everyone so much for their making our day a lifetime memory.

We selected the English Manor for our wedding in December 2017 and were totally satisfied with our choice. I highly recommend their winter package if you are interested in getting married during the winter; they have beautiful decorations that make the venue look magical. The food is excellent and their grounds are perfect for photos. We were also very happy with the recommended Elite DJ. We had Marlyn as our maître d and she was lovely to work with. I had a specific vision for my cake and she worked with the baker to execute it and it turned out better than I imagined. I brought a lot of decorations for the reception and she handled all the details perfectly. The English Manor makes you feel welcome and is happy to accommodate your requests, I can’t recommend them enough.

English manor will be everything you dreamed of and more. If you are looking to have a ceremony outside, this is a dream spot to have it. Our guests said it was the best food they ever ever tasted (specifically the steak option!) and everyone said the cocktail hour food is out of this world. As soon as we walked up to The English Manor for the first time we fell in love with it! The gardens are spectacular and were the perfect setting for our ceremony. The staff at the English Manor were very accommodating for our requests, and last minute changes. The venue looked amazing both inside and out! Every little detail had been thought of, and they also gave us a lot of help with the planning. When we were running late, the English Manor were flexible with us, and kept us on time throughout the rest of the night. We recommend this venue for your perfect wedding.

Our wedding day at The English Manor was truly magical! As soon as we entered, we were immediately welcomed by Lisa who toured us around the beautiful estate. We quickly fell head-over-hells for the venue. The incredible ceremony space, the option for an outdoor cocktail hour on the beautiful deck and the stunning reception room, each part was better than the next. We quickly hopped on the opportunity to plan our dream wedding day at The English Manor. We had a phenomenal food tasting months in advance of the wedding to help choose between all of the scrumptious options. As the wedding date got closer, we met with our Maître D’, Denise, who put all of our worries aside. It was so easy working with Denise, she was always available for what seemed like the silliest of questions and she had great ideas and recommendations for the big day! The weather on our big day was phenomenal so we were able to fulfill our dream of an outdoor wedding. We were privileged be able to do our first look, bridal party and family pictures at The English Manor before our ceremony. The lush grounds made a beautiful backdrop for each and every picture. The cocktail hour and reception food were just incredible! My guests are still raving about the vast array of foods at cocktail hour and the quality and quantity of food throughout the entire event!The entire wedding day went incredibly smoothly thanks to Denise. She even fixed my bustle that broke at the start of the reception! Silvana was an extreme pleasure to work with on the wedding day. She made sure my husband and I always had something to drink and eat and she was able to accommodate every request. We felt like absolute royalty hosting our wedding at The English Manor. We can only hope to one day attend an English Manor wedding as a guest to experience it from the other side. Thank you Denise, Silvana, Lisa, Kristi and the entire English Manor team for making our wedding day better than we ever could have imagined!

Our search for a venue started as soon as we were engaged nearly 2 years ago. I dragged my husband to 20 venues in search of the perfect location and it wasn't until we reached our very last one at The English Manor that we had finally fallen in love with the perfect venue! From the preparations leading to the day of, to the actual big day they did not disappoint! Our Maitre'D, Marlyn, was very helpful and always responsive every step of the way! Marlyn setup everything exactly as we had envisioned and made sure everything went exactly as we had wished! Although it rained and we couldn't have our outdoor ceremony, they waited until the very last moment to make that decision which we really appreciated. Otherwise everything went without a hitch! My guests raved about the delicious food and were amazed at being able to have seconds! The service there is truly one of a kind! Thank you English Manor for making our wedding absolutely perfect!

The English Manor was truly the perfect venue for our special day! Their grounds are stunning, the food was over the top and absolutely delicious, and the staff was a great help. Denise took all of our decorations and visions for the day and put everything in place perfectly. The EM just had a minor renovation, adding a beautiful patio and fountain to their grounds in place of a gazebo that was once there. Family and friends took nice pictures in front of it while enjoying the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour. The only minor complaint would be how the night ended. They didn't shuffle everyone out as best as they could so a lot of guests were lingering inside still, including my father, and they missed our sparkler exit. Over a month later, our family and friends are still talking about how our wedding was so much fun and how delicious the food was. Perfect choice!

Our wedding at the English Manor felt like a fairy tale. From the first moment of walking into the venue, we just knew it was exactly what we were looking for. The staff is amazing, our guests are still raving about the food, and the night was just perfect. Marlyn was amazing. She felt like my best friend for the evening, making sure no request felt too big or small. The evening of our rehearsal she took the time to listen to all my wishes and turned our special day into our best day ever. Every step of planning our wedding with the English Manor was simple. As we lived out of state and had just a few trips to NJ to get everything finalized, they really understood and worked with our schedules the best they could. Every couple that is looking for the perfect garden wedding should visit with the English Manor. Choosing this venue was the best decision we ever made, and our only wish is that someone else we know will get married there so we can enjoy the evening as guests to experience the other end! Thank you to the English Manor for our dream wedding!

The English Manor was the perfect place to celebrate our marriage. Denise ensured that every detail was taken care of before our arrival to the venue and answered every text or call with last minute questions or details I had. I can tell she loves what she does and has a passion for making sure every bride's day is just how they dreamed it would be. I am still getting compliments on the food , cocktail hour and our signature drink as well as what a wonderful day it was! All of the ideas I had for a vintage travel themed wedding came together because the English Manor understood my vision and realized it beautifully. My husband and I are so glad we booked the English Manor and recommend it to any couple who is looking for an intimate , garden setting !! 😁

The English Manor venue and staff are amazing! Not only is the outdoor venue beautiful and constantly being updated (improving even over our year of wedding planning with addition of a water fountain and improved river rocks), the service and attention to detail is second to none! I am an out of state bride and had so much satisfaction and relief working with our maitre'd Denise who was willing to FaceTime with myself and my now husband to plan every last detail when we were unable to come in person for meetings. Our wedding day was the best day of my life and went perfectly- I really think its the communication and hard work of the staff (especially Denise) that kept our wedding on track. And don't even get us started on the AMAZING food- our family and friends are still raving about how much there was and the quality of what was offered! Denise made sure that we ate and was so attentive- our every need and request was accommodated (even last minute changes). The English Manor goes above and beyond to exceed your expectations and we were blown away! You won't regret having your wedding here- it will always have a special place in our lives.

I cannot say enough good things about The English Manor! The maitre d', Marlyn, was absolutely amazing. Everyone raved about the food and the place. Even though it rained on our wedding, they were so quick to set up the ceremony inside and then put it all back for the reception. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the fact that my husband and I didn't get a chance to eat was okay, because they packed us extra dinners and cocktail hour foods to go! Seriously amazing, they came in so handy the next day. They were also so accommodating to us, and happily let us do our gender reveal cake after our wedding cake. It was great because the whole staff was just as excited as we were, and they made it so special for us. I wouldn't have changed a thing about my wedding, and every single person there said something great about them. If you're considering The English Manor, go for it, you will not regret a thing.

Our wedding reception could not have been any better! From the minute we saw the English Manor and it felt like we were at home in a cozy but gorgeous house, we knew we had to have our December Christmas themed wedding there. It was decorated so beautifully for the holiday season that we really didn't even need to do much. We couldn't wait to hang our stockings above the fireplace and see how pretty our wreaths decorated the candelabras in the main reception room. Kristi was fantastic and was there with a quick response to any question every step of the way. Denise did an amazing job coordinating our reception and didn't leave one stone unturned. We could not have been happier. Our guests still rave about the food and wonderful time they had. EM is the best! Our day was perfect.
