Create a wedding experience that your most cherished people will gush over for years to come… Traveling up the long grand driveway, lined by majestic red oaks, you and your guests will be transported to a place where the world can stand still. Once past the gatehouse, the Georgian-style architecture of The Estate mansion creates an awe-inspiring first impression. Unlike typical barn venues, The Estate is a private, gated, 162 acre equestrian property. Imagine yourself surrounded by lush lawns, flower gardens, romantic pathways, and majestic shire horses. Our magnificent Estate Mansion on this gorgeous property becomes YOUR HOME FOR THE DAY, providing stunning indoor and outdoor ceremony and recreation spaces, as well as fully heated and cooled indoor ceremony and reception areas. Venue Capacity: There is enough room to comfortably seat anywhere from 50-350 guests inside our fully heated and cooled Estate House for dinner. Vendor Flexibility: The Estate is open to many licensed vendors (including catering). You are able to carry in your own alcoholic beverages so long as it is served by licensed and insured bar tenders. Pricing: $4500-$6500 May-November $2500-$4500 December-April THE ESTATE RENTAL includes a fully heated & cooled mansion, a spectacular bridal suite, and second bridal party lounge and deck, and several acres of marvelous outdoor areas to utilize throughout your entire day. Our experienced events team will be glad to assist you with organizing your celebrations. From getting ready on-site in the morning, to your beautiful ceremony in the afternoon, extending through the evening reception and late-night festivities, we pride ourselves on providing a very personalized experience. As soon as my husband and I drove onto this property, we knew it was the one. Meeting with the staff was always so pleasurable and the event staff made everything such a breeze for us. It was so nice not having to worry about anything whatsoever. The event staff helped tremendously and listened to my wishes. I was sad to leave the venue when our wedding was over! I highly recommend choosing this venue to host your event. Th Estate itself is so, so beautiful and they’ve done a wonderful job keeping it beautiful. I fell in love with just looking at the pictures, but they don’t even do it justice. You have to witness for yourself in person. Again, 10/10 recommendation choosing The Estate at Sunset Farm for your wedding or anything other event.

We had our November wedding with The Estate and could not have asked for better!! The staff was super helpful planning from the day we signed our contract to our wedding day. We were able to rent all our linens directly with them and even use an indoor candle rental package which made for day of much easier not having to transport a bunch of decor. The venue itself is a beautiful setting and was the perfect spot for our special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get married!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and it went so much better than we could have ever imagined. The staff took care of us and made sure that all of our needs were met. The venue was also breath taking and our guests couldn’t stop telling us just how much they loved it. It really was the perfect place for our day and we wouldn’t have changed anything about it!

What can I say about Estate. As the groom I did not think that the venue would make that much of a difference but, boy was I wrong. The Estate is absolutely breathtaking. The gardens around the property are gorgeous. Having the horses running in the background leaves you speechless. Being able to escape the heat and enjoy the reception in the AC chefs kiss. The Estate really helps you throughout the entire process. They are in constant contact with you the entire time. The meetings beforehand are very informative. Once you give them your vendors information they contact them directly and handle all that so you don't have to. If you are looking for the perfect wedding Venue you have found it at The Estate.

We had a great day with our wedding being held at the Estate! We had to pivot on the day of due to some rain, and the events team was great at making sure we got what we wanted without having to stress out over the decision. We were still able to get some pictures outside and we are so thankful for that because the grounds are gorgeous for all sorts of photos. Our guests loved the venue and had a great time and so did we!

First off, I would simply love to say that if you have your wedding take place here, you will never go wrong with them!My now wife and I had an amazing time here! We had our wedding on the bigger site here, rather than the smaller Harvest House, and that's because we fell in love with not only the huge space, but just how BEAUTIFUL it is outside and inside. The bridal suite is huge, has its own bathroom and shower space if needed. It has lots of windows too, not obscured, but hard to see through so nobody can see the bride while she's getting ready. The windows give TONS of natural lighting, so the bride can look her best!The groom lounge isn't as big, but it's still phenomenal, with a leather sectional, a bathroom, and a shower if needed.We only had a small wedding with about 20 guests, but I can imagine it being difficult to fill all the space you would have for not only the ceremony, but the reception!We loved the design of everything here, and we specifically had our ceremony by the flower garden, which was just absolutely gorgeous! We weren't able to go to one of the Open House days to see, but I'm personally glad we couldn't go. Seeing all the flowers made it that much better of a surprise for how beautiful the ceremony location was!The event staff is also extremely accommodating, and there are plenty of handicap accessible places if you need it! I can't recommend this venue enough, it was the first and only venue I toured before saying this was the place. I will always be personally vouching for this venue for if and when my friends or family members want to get married anywhere.

This venue was truly the most beautiful place my husband and I could have imagined for our wedding day! It had fairytale vibes from the outside with all the beautiful flowers, trees, and gardens. And the building itself was stunning!! One thing we loved about the venue was the opportunities we had to customize the event to make it our own. They have so many location options (both outside and inside) for the ceremony and we were able to select all the details for how we wanted our seating chart to be laid out (especially the head table) and more! The staff members were very kind and patient throughout the process and were flexible with us for our planning meeting times, since we were from out of town. We appreciate everything they did from day one and on to make our wedding truly the best day of our lives so far! We definitely recommend this venue to all Ohio couples!

They were really easy to work with and had absolutely gorgeous sites. Even in the early spring (which we were worried about greenery), it turned out very nicely. They worked quickly and efficiently with our contacts and vendors. They were also easy to keep in contact with when we had questions or difficulties. Day of the event they had staff making sure everything worked and was set well and help put people at ease. Sunset Farms was an excellent choice and made our event one to remember for the ages.

My wife and I toured this venue back in may of 2022 and we immediately fell in love with everything that the venue had to offer. The staff and everything were amazing In everything from communication to helping us find our bartender to helping out the day of. The venue itself is gorgeous with everything it has to offer. Our pictures turned out amazing and we are so glad we booked. We highly recommend this venue to everyone it’s affordable and has alot to offer

The staff and everything were amazing In everything from communication to helping us find our bartender to helping out the day of. The venue itself is gorgeous with everything it has to offer. Our pictures turned out amazing and we are so glad we booked. We highly recommend this venue to everyone it’s affordable and has alot to offer

This was an absolutely beautiful venue to host our wedding. Our wedding photos around the venue and grounds were amazing. The staff and recommended vendors were wonderful. We had all our questions answered and explained throughout the process.

The estate provided a gorgeous space for our ceremony and reception. All my guests gushed over how nice it was (even with it being gray and rainy— though am we still managed to squeeze our ceremony in outside prior to the down pour;) ). We did run into a few communication issues along the way as there had been some changes within their internal structures/procedures, but the estate staff did work hard to address concerns. My pro tip- is take them up on the shire horse package- was one of the biggest highlights of for myself and my guests!

We held my son's wedding and reception at the Estate, and the day could not have been more perfect! Steve & Jen go above and beyond to make sure all the details are finalized ahead of time, and made sure we had everything we needed the day of. Their staff was onsite the entire day and evening, working behind the scenes to transition from ceremony to reception, and helped assist with any questions that may have come up. The Estate staff worked seamlessly with the catering staff and the DJ, so it literally felt like everyone was one big team, there to provide us with an amazing experience. We felt very supported through the entire process, and our guests loved the beautiful scenery and accommodations of this beautiful venue. We got married at The Estate on 10/30/20 and it was amazing! We received so many compliments from our guests on the beautiful venue. The grounds are truly amazing and there's so many spots for outdoor photos and ceremony locations. We also had fire pits outside which was an awesome ambiance by the fountains and wisteria with the twinkling lights. The Estate was great with communication and made sure we had everything we needed for our big day. I love the two story reception layout, it allowed our guests to spread out and we had more of the younger party crowd upstairs which worked great. They were able to mingle and easily look over the balcony to watch the reception events. The fireplace during our reception was an awesome added touch that The Estate did all on their own. Thanks to Steve, Jen, Jena and staff for helping make our wedding day happen!

Jen, Steve, and The Estate at Sunset Farms made our dream wedding come true! Everything was perfect from the communication, the decorations, the yard, the venue itself, and everything in between. It is the perfect place for any wedding style. We chose to do an elegant themed wedding and this beautiful mansion created the perfect environment for everyone to come together to celebrate our special day. They also have the perfect place for a rustic, antique, farm, and any other theme you are wanting for your wedding day. My husband and I seriously couldn't have picked out a more perfect place to begin our new journey together. Jen and Steve are really easy to talk to and to bond with and that made our COVID wedding that much easier to plan. They were right there with us every step of the way and were helpful throughout this stressful time. No matter what issue or problem we came up with (and by issues I mean wedding planning in general) while planning a COVID wedding they were very understanding and communicated with us the entire time. It isn't everyday you meet people this invested in their customers and they are. YOU come first and they will do anything they possibly can to help your day come together. To say the least, I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. They were the perfect people with the perfect venue and the memories made here will last a life time. We will definitely be back to Sunset for other events that will happen in their very near future. Thank you Jen, Steve, Sunset, and all the staff there that day that made it truly amazing!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day experience. Through Covid-19 there were a lot of ups and downs, wondering how our wedding would go or if we could even have a wedding, but the staff at The Estate at Sunset Farm was with us the whole way. We had some minor hiccups with communication along the way but with Covid going on and people having to plan their entire wedding twice we completely understood that it was crazy for them too. Jen and Steve were always very responsive and would listen to our questions and concerns while reassuring us we could make things work. They allowed us to use their venue but make the wedding our own. They also got us in touch with our day of coordinator Jena, of Blush and Bloom, she was absolutely amazing and answer every question along the way (and we had A LOT). The venue was beautiful and they cleaned up anything that we saw in our walk-through that we questioned, from downed trees to some cosmetic issues. We toured the venue in January but they painted the picture for us, and looking at their Instagram let us see the potential, but it doesn't do it justice, it was better than we could have ever imagined. We can't thank the staff enough for everything they did for us to make our wedding day special and make us feel like we were their only clients.

I highly recommend the Estate at Sunset Farm for a wedding venue. My husband and I said “I Do” at the Estate on 8/2/20 and have nothing but appreciation for everyone we came into contact there. We visited several venues in the Ohio/Northern Kentucky area before we made our final decisions. They were all beautiful, but The Estate offered so much help, aside from its beautiful location. So charming! Most venues just hand you the keys and tell you to have everything cleaned up by a certain time. At the very basic package, The Estate has a Staff of people that are on sight for the day. They take care of the basic trash cleanup at the end of the night (any trash that does not include décor you bring in yourself). They also work with several contacts from DJ’s to Planners if you are still looking. Don’t even get me started on the Wedding Planner, Jena Steinke, they work closely with. She is AMAZING! If you chose the Estate, you really should consider working with Jena. At first I was a bit skeptical about hiring a planner to be honest. After all, like yourself, I had a budget! I am so glad we decided to work with her. You will not be disappointed. Jena has her own wedding planner business that also works with other venues (Blush and Bloom), and she knows the Estate like the back of her hand. She has great relationships with their owners, and Staff. I definitely recommend asking Steve and Jen about her! She works very closely with the venue and your vendors to make your day magical! Steve and Jen are really great to work with, as well. I honestly felt like I was working with Family while I was there. They are responsive and really helped us with all the questions we had throughout the planning process. They were especially helpful considering we were planning during COVID-19. It was hard enough coping with a pandemic during this time, but they made us feel heard among many other clients, and also put up with several emails from me with all of my COVID concerns. I’m impressed with how organized and responsive they were during this time, considering they had several clients with the same COVID concerns and/or rescheduled dates. They were super flexible for some of the requests or ideas we had for the big day. I also have to talk more about the landscape and location. Absolutely beautiful. The Estate home already feels like a decoration itself, so we did not need to add too much as far as decor for the ceremony and reception. There are also so many opportunities for beautiful photos outside. They have beautiful gardens and landscaping that made for some of my favorite photos! Bottom line is, you will not have any regrets if you go with this venue. So much beauty and character, and a lovely staff! Thank you, Jen, Steve, and Jenna for being a part of such a wonderful memory that I will never forget! I am so happy!!!

We were one of the many couples who had a wedding planned during the covid-19 pandemic, and although there were bumps in the road, our wedding day ended up being beautiful and perfect. We did our ceremony by the bridge on the south lawn and had our reception inside the Estate. Everything about the venue is gorgeous from the bridal suite, to the bar, to all the grounds outside. There is no shortage of places to hold your ceremony and capture gorgeous pictures. They even offer fun additions like baby goat feeding. All of our guests had a great time and so did the bride and groom.

We did our ceremony by the bridge on the south lawn and had our reception inside the Estate. Everything about the venue is gorgeous from the bridal suite, to the bar, to all the grounds outside. There is no shortage of places to hold your ceremony and capture gorgeous pictures. They even offer fun additions like baby goat feeding. All of our guests had a great time and so did the bride and groom.

If your big day goes perfectly as planned this place is for you. If not, don’t expect a pleasant interaction with Steve. We got into a disagreement, because our wedding was during COVID-19. With the regulations set in place at the time we would have only been able to have 10 people at our wedding and they still wanted to take us for all our money. We paid for a space that was large enough to hold 200+ guest, not 10 people. Don’t be fooled when the contract says they have seating for 305 people, that doesn’t necessarily mean people can sit in those 305 chairs. Our only other option was to reschedule for another date and even those were limited, not to mention we could have been in the same boat later down the road and had to go through this all over again on the rescheduled date. Fortunately the regulations changed and we were able to have our wedding on the original date. However, when we came in for the final meeting, Steve was rude to us the entire time. He was on his phone, not paying attention to our conversation and when I asked him to show me an area of the venue he just pointed and would not walk over with me so I knew the exact location, even after I asked several times. During our reception one of my vendors came up to me saying we better be packed up and gone by 11pm, because Steve told them he couldn’t wait to charge us extra if we stayed over. All he cared about was getting our money and has robbed other clients of theirs that chose to cancel due to COVID-19. I would have even understood if they couldn’t refund the security deposit, but wanting to keep the entire payment, during a pandemic? I also wasn’t too thrilled when the horses came out. The one was kicking his legs all over the place and even kicked the trainer. I do not believe this horse was ready to be around guest and a comment was made about how he was still in training. We had kids at our wedding that wanted to see and pet the horses, but that was not an option with that horse. At least 15 minutes of our hour with the horses was wasted trying to calm him down. I know animals aren’t perfect, but I was expecting a little better. I honestly would have considered writing a better review if we had just dealt with Jen. She was very sweet during our meetings and on the day of our wedding.

I took my daughter here for the princess ball. The estate is beautiful and the staff was fantastic. This place would be a great venue for a wedding or special event. We had an emergency situation and had to last minute change to the later session. The staff beyond accommodating.

If I could give Sunset Farms 10 stars, I would. My wedding was in September and the owners, Steve and Jen, went above and beyond to make the event a perfect day. And for our out-of-state guests, the nearby hotels were very nice - and a short Uber ride for those who didn't want to drive home after the reception. Needless to say, we were very happy we found The Estate at Sunset Farms for our wedding. It was perfect! Thank you Jen and Steve!

It was perfect, the willow trees dotting the landscape and wisteria falling over the trellis outside. A beautiful brick backdrop mansion to take pictures outside, a glowing fireplace with an elegant mantle for our (suddenly due to weather) inside wedding. It is beautiful and Steve and Jen are excellent to work with as well. Their quick email responses and their ability to go with the flow (we had an escape room themed wedding) was wonderful. I highly recommend this location, the amenities and the pure privacy of it all is worth it. Let alone the gorgeous view.

After extensively researching and interviewing wedding venues, my fiance and I decided on The Estate at Sunset Farm. Steve & Jen were extremely responsive, prompt, and professional, unlike a lot of other venues we interviewed. What we likes about their venue was their unique Estate on their gorgeous farm property. The farm has all the looks of an operational farm without the farm smell! Even my guests that do not like farms loved The Estate at Sunset Farm! It feels like vacation when you step onto their property. As you walk through the property, you get all sorts of different flower fragrances. Depending on the time of year, they have a large variety of beautiful blooms, my favorite being the wisteria, sure to make you and your guests want to kick back and stay awhile... They have many other options including lights, televisions, and horse photos! Their horses are extremely well taken care of, gorgeous, and friendly. The Estate is clean, with lots of detail. They worked well with our wedding planner and all our vendors. For example, we had a flower installation design to hang over the dance floor and they were so responsive and quick to work with our florist to figure out how to get it done. The end result blew our guests away, it was so enchanting. They were also extremely catering to us and our needs- I even called them the night before our wedding with a freak out, bridezilla moment (created by my guests, not the Estate) and they were so kind, understanding, and helped me to work around the problem efficiently so I could get rest before my big day. I would also like to say that their staff is extremely sweet, just like the owners. I would highly recommend your event at The Estate at Sunset Farm because, not only is the property itself worth the mulah, the people running the show are serious sweethearts who are worth investing in-- because they will 110% be devoted to you and your event. Thank you guys so much for helping our wedding to be the day we've been dreaming of since we were kids! I will always remember The Estate at Sunset Farm!

The venue was perfect! Leading up to my wedding, we had consistent meetings to make sure everything was on track. They allowed us to deliver the items the week of and made sure the spaces was ready the day of. The day of my wedding was nasty weather but they were constantly mopping the floors to make sure everything was perfect and that my dress was ruined. Also the bridal party walked outside and they cleared a path in the snow. All the staff was very professional and helpful! Would recommend this venue to anyone!

However, our indoor reception was SO AWESOME! Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful and different this place is- the double staircase in the entry way, the three full service bars, the balcony view to the dance floor, and on, and on, and on! We rocked the dance floor the entire night. I wouldn't change anything about our wedding day.

I cannot express my full gratitude for the owners and staff of this facility. Our day was amazing and epic because of their preparedness and professionalism. Jen, Steve, and Fred helped with every detail we missed and never complained about our unfortunate lack of preparation. Steve seemed to be everywhere at the same time showing up frequently to make sure everything was ok with both sets of parents, myself and the bride, and each of the vendors. From mopping minor spills to standing by as a safety person for our sparkler exit, coming through with forgotten napkins, and more other details than I probably don't even know about..... What a great and historic day for my wife and I day. What an amazing facility.

My fiance and I viewed this venue a week ago and we were very disappointed to find that the interior of the home is still under construction and the outside of the estate looks nothing like what is portrayed on their website. The venue will be very nice once it's completed but we felt it was deceiving to advertise this as a fully functioning venue option when it's not even close to being finished. We were told that it will be completed by the end of the summer but there is still a lot of work to be done. The owners should have been up front with us when we scheduled a tour plus they should mention the construction on their website so people aren't caught off guard when they arrive.

STAY AWAY! We signed with and paid for The Estate at Sunset Farm on January 17th, 2017 for our event June 3, 2017. We were told by owner Steven Gabbard that demolition was nearly complete, and The Estate was well ahead of its scheduled Grand Opening March 17, 2017. We were also supposed to be emailed a copy of our contract that evening. Things appeared to be on track, and we were excited to find a venue that had our preferred date available. February 24th, I emailed to ask for an update, and received a reply that “…there are no problems on our end. The construction is commencing nicely, although a need for a fire suppression system has pushed us back about a month. Your date of June 3 is firmly secure…”. I had little contact with the venue the rest of the month, and visited on March 18th. I was shocked to find the condition of the renovation appeared further behind schedule than it looked in January. Steven assured me at that time that it was still on schedule to be completed in May, and that I needn’t worry about my date. Steven stated that although he had no doubt The Estate wouldn’t be ready in time, he would provide tents on the lawn as a back-up. He also referred me to Jennifer Stanley at the Honey Farm. We declined to move our event, as family had already booked hotel rooms and invitations had been sent. Steven responded to periodic texts from us throughout the month, continuing to assure us that The Estate was on schedule. I did not get a copy of my full contract until April 20th, after multiple requests for months. May 1, Jennifer informed me she had received a request to use the Honey Farm for my date. We inquired again about the progress of the venue, informing Steve that we intended to say the other bride was welcome to the date at the Honey Farm. I asked my father to call him, and Steven admitted that the venue would likely not be completed in time, but he continued to reassure my fiancé and I it would be. We elected to move our event, and Steven agreed to a full refund. We drove to the Estate on May 6th to collect the refund, and waited over an hour for Steven to arrive with the check. He had also agreed to provide a new contract stating that he would provide linens, tables, restroom trailer, and chairs for our event, but neglected to provide this due to a “wifi issue”. My father called, and Steven reassured him that someone in his office was drafting that contract. May 18th, Steven sent me a 4 line email stating what he would provide.Steven did provide tables, chairs, and restroom trailer for the event at no cost, but failed multiple times to provide details on the timing of delivery or from where they were being rented. The day before the wedding, table cloths from Steven had still not arrived. He emailed me a termination and mutual release and requested I sign it that day; part of which stated I would not make any statements that would damage the reputation of The Estate. Steven attempted to contact my family multiple times that day to ask us to sign, and left a message saying he would drop off the linens and have us sign during our rehearsal at the Honey Farm. We had already elected to rent tablecloths from another company since we did not receive any delivery information from Steven; I did not sign.To our knowledge, the venue is still incomplete. We caution any person looking to be involved with Steven Gabbard or The Estate at Sunset Farm, even after its completion.

This place is AMAZING!!! We can't decide on what Estate location to choose for our ceremony because there are so many! I love that you can plan something outdoors under the front yard willow trees or on the back patio under the wisteria, but also have a few ceremony options inside like the two-story fire place or double curved staircase incase it rains. Talk about versatile! We are spending our entire wedding day here... using the bridal suite to get ready in the morning, having our ceremony on property, followed by a cocktail hour for our guests while the bridal party is photographed, and then our reception inside the mansion that evening. The staff has been super helpful giving us ideas on what we can do and they are very flexible and willing to work with us to make our day exactly the way we want it. We can not wait to celebrate our wedding day here.
