Situated in Pinehurst, NC, The Fair Barn is an idyllic wedding venue. The property features a Mission-style barn which is nestled on an equine sports complex. This charming setting offers couples the chance to host a magical and memorable wedding. The Fair Barn has a storied history and was constructed in 1917 for use at the Sandhills Fair. It has now been lovingly restored and refurbished to suit weddings and other events. Inside the two-and-a-half-storey structure, couples and their loved ones will find lofty ceilings with wooden scissor trusses and a rustic, yet elegant look. Light easily fills the space, and the modern amenities combined with the classic ambience help to enhance a couple's celebrations of their love and commitment. There is up to 10,000 square feet of space available for events at The Fair Barn, which can accommodate a wedding of 500 people. Besides receptions, couples can also use the space for their rehearsal dinner. The staff is able to assist couples in creating their layout, and they provide tables, chairs, a stage, and more. The barn has high standard audiovisual equipment, a commercial kitchen, and dressing rooms for the couple's convenience. Only one event is held at the barn per day, helping to ensure it is simple and easy for couples to organize their event. The venue has been used for weddings and related soirees for more than a decade and a half and the staff have ample experience in the industry. They are eager to help make your day one to remember.

The Fair Barn was such a beautiful venue to have our wedding at. We had the ceremony and reception both in the barn, eliminating traveling and the need for twice as many decorations. The getting ready space is nice but small, with sliding doors dividing it in two. We left it open all morning as the ladies got ready and the men got ready off-site to prevent it from getting too crowded or hot. Lots of parking, centrally located in Pinehurst, already looks charming and decorated (so less you have to do yourself). The A/C is worked GREAT all day and night, even with doors opened (a must-have for a June wedding). I am so glad we went with the Fair Barn! Holly was so helpful through the entire planning process, answering all my dozens of questions within a timely manner and making sure I had all the items, payments, and documents I needed ahead of time.

Beautiful venue. The rustic wood feel of the barn is so beautiful. Place is big enough to hold 200 people easily. Highly recommend having any event here..especially a wedding!

The Fair Barn of The Village of Pinehurst creates a unique atmosphere. The Fair Barn is a historical landmark that provides guests with a magical experience. Growing up in the area gave me the opportunity to recognize the history and beauty of The Fair Barn. Since my husband and I both love of golf, The Fair Barn became the most perfect venue for our wedding reception! \r\rBecause of the rugged but elegant atmosphere that is experienced at The Fair Barn you really do not have to dress it up. The lights draw your eyes to the tall ceiling and beams, and provide an enchanting feel. \r\rMy photographer was so inspired by The Fair Barn it made our pictures stand out! When my husband and I see guests they always comment on how beautiful and how much they loved The Fair Barn.\r\rA part from the aesthetic beauty of The Fair Barn, the staff is equally wonderful! They are very knowledgeable of the standard protocols for weddings and events. They are more than willing to go above and beyond to make sure there client’s needs are met. The staff is also very resourceful and helpful with outside venders. \r\rI am so happy and thankful with my experience at The Fair Barn. It really is magical!

What more can I say? Holding our wedding reception at The Fair Barn was one of the best wedding-related decisions I made. The staff at The Fair Barn is extremely helpful and responsive and they'll feel like friends by the end of the planning process (Danaka - you rock!). The venue itself accomodates everything you might need including a catering kitchen, dressing rooms, and a separate bathroom that makes using the restroom in a wedding dress SO MUCH EASIER than trying to fit into a normal stall. The space can accommodate as few or as many people as you want and the grounds are spectacular. This venue books up quickly though - so keep that in mind. I had to book in May 2013 for a November 2014 wedding. It's just that awesome!

I can't imagine a venue having better value or be more beautiful. If you're lucky enough to book this place for your wedding, count your blessings. Just be prepared to do everything yourself (unless your planner is taking care of things). Everything is DIY, there are limited (but quality) vendors in the area, and there is not a full-time representative on staff, so communication is difficult at times.\rWe were nervous about all these things, but it all worked out in the end.

The Fair Barn was such a magical place to have our reception. It is the oldest surviving fair exhibition hall in North Carolina and has completely been remodeled with all modern conveniences while still maintaining that rustic feel. The soaring ceiling of all exposed wood beams and skylights is breathtaking and it is blank canvas for you to decorate however you wish, although it can include grapevine lighting all around the room. The space is large enough to accommodate 500 people seated at tables plus a dance floor. There is a commercial kitchen, and annex just for the bridal party and large bathrooms. It is also conveniently located near the Village of Pinehurst and owned by the City. We had an excellent experience working with Danaka the property manager and an overall dream wedding!

I recently had my wedding at the Fair Barn in Pinehurst, NC and everything went wonderfully. I have always wanted to get married there. It is truly a beautiful venue. You don't need to dress it up much because it really doesn't need it. The night was wonderful and unforgettable! The Fair Barn staff was a pleasure to work and very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend this stellar venue located in the heart of the pines!

I recently had my wedding at the Fair Barn in Pinehurst, NC and everything went wonderfully. I have always wanted to get married there. It is truly a beautiful venue. Never returned phone calls, had to chase the staff down to get questions answered, the staff even walked around during my reception and stole favors for my guests off the tables. Would change my venue if I could do it all over again!

everything about the Fair Barn was awesome. The venue is beautiful and affordable. The staff was so helpful in finding us other vendors for catering, music, decorations, rentals, etc. We were allowed to set up all day the day of our wedding and the staff was there to help us with anything we needed. I would highly recommend getting married and/or having your reception here.

The Fair Barn is a fantastic space for a reception venue. For 120 people plus a large band - the space was perfect. Enough room to move around, but intimate setting. The lights on the columns and balcony stay up year-round and look spectacular in photos. The Fair Barn was an excellent value and very close to Pinehurst locations.

The Fair Barn is a beautiful renovated horse barn perfect for large evens especially. The location is so incredibly beautiful, and you are able to rent all the chairs and tables on site which is great. Also, the beautiful Village Arboretum comes at no additional charge and is perfect for an out door garden wedding. It was difficult to communicate with the ladies who are in charge of events at the Fair Barn. They rarely ever answered their phones and there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication.

The Fair Barn is a beautiful renovated horse barn perfect for large evens especially. The location is so incredibly beautiful, and you are able to rent all the chairs and tables on site which is great. Also, the beautiful Village Arboretum comes at no additional charge and is perfect for an out door garden wedding.
