The Farm at Glenwood Mountain is a barnyard wedding venue in Vernon, NJ. The family-run estate is nestled among the mountaintops, sitting on 170 acres of wide-open pastures. The farm features three unique spaces to host guests for the magical celebrations, offering family and friends an authentic farm-to-table experience like no other. Allow yourself to immerse in the all-encompassing beauty and joy of a working farm while reaping the rewards of the world-class cuisine grown onsite. Couples can choose from three event spaces to host the ceremony and the reception. The Herb Garden sits at the forefront of the farm. Here, loved ones can enjoy a cocktail hour or a three-course meal among the vegetable beds while savoring the sunset that sets on the Appalachian Mountains. The Pasture offers unmatched views of the farmyard animals grazing in nearby fields, granting unlimited possibilities for couples to design the space their way. The Barn is a refurbished working dairy farm that exudes a rustic charm. The Barn can accommodate up to 200 friends and family in its vast space, featuring double-height cathedral ceilings, market lighting, and ample room for a night of dancing. The Farm at Glenwood Mountain is as dedicated to its couples as it is to the food it serves. The team here provides all of the onsite catering, crafting dishes using natural, non-GMO, and organic ingredients raised on the farm. Menus feature a combination of in-season vegetables and pasture-raised and grass-fed meats. Couples can choose a customized menu to suit their needs and accommodate any dietary restrictions. The pair-of-honor can look forward to service and bar staff attending to their planning and event needs on the day. The Farm was a dream come true. The venue is absolutely beautiful and is perfectly made for a farm wedding. There was a chance of rain on our date so we were considering multiple places to have the ceremony and there really was no bad choice from the orchard up the hill, or by the entrance by the garden, or their beautiful indoor barn. Steve and Candice were wonderful to work with, they were responsive and very professional. They were helpful and knowledgeable and gave such good advice and suggestions regarding scheduling and vendor set ups. They made sure my wife and I were comfortable, fed and did everything they can for our special day to go perfect as possible.A review of The Farm cannot be completed without mentioning the food. Not an exaggeration when I say people were more excited about how good the food was than anything else. Friends and family are still talking about how good the food was a MONTH after the wedding. Lucky for us The Farm does more than weddings and we’re looking forward to going back for farm dinners, their store and just to enjoy the scenery of the venue. Thank you for everyone at The Farm to make our special perfect and delicious!

The Farm was a dream come true. The venue is absolutely beautiful and is perfectly made for a farm wedding. The farm was the first venue we visited, and it was also the last. We fell in love that day and never looked back. Food is really important to us, and the farm was perfect. It was as close at it gets to a true \"farm to table\" experience, right on the property. All of their ingredients are either sourced from the farm itself, or other local ingredients. Steve, the chef, works with you directly to figure out the menu, and that process was really fun! The barn itself is the perfect setting for the \"rustic chic\" vibe that we were going for. It's gorgeous on its own and didn't require much for decoration, although working with Candice on the decor was easy and fun. We also stayed on the property that weekend (with our wedding party) and the accommodations were both luxurious and cozy/intimate. Working with Steve & Candice was a true pleasure, and we can't wait to go back for a farm dinner (they do those too!) soon. They also have an open farm market on weekends from 11-4 --- we highly recommend stopping by for farm raised meats, eggs, vegetables, honey, and so much more. <3

Steve and Candice were wonderful! It was so helpful to have so few vendors because The Farm took care of the food, flowers, ceremony and reception set up and breakdown and coordinated for cake and alcohol for us. We chose the farm initially because we could see how much attention was paid to detail, including the farm to table dinner experience and the beautifully restored barn. Even knowing this, The Farm and their team really blew us away! So many of our guests have continued to rave about the food and the beauty of the place. We loved getting married at the Farm and wouldn't have changed a thing - we can't wait to be back for a private farm dinner!

Steve and Candice were genuine and so pleasant from the beginning. They were helpful, responsive and you can tell they really care about your special day. My (now) husband and I knew from the moment we saw their venue that it was the one! They answered all of our questions over the year or so of planning, and made us feel so comfortable coming to them with ideas or stupid questions along the way. As two young(er) people being the first in their families to get married, we felt so at ease knowing they were there to help.When the day got here, we knew we were in good hands. From the moment we showed up to the moment we said goodnight, we could NOT stop thanking them and their entire team the incredible night they put together. Our families won't stop raving about the food and the ambiance, and it's so clear they are people who put their heart and soul into their work. We are so pleased with our experience with them, we would highly recommend to anyone looking to book their special day.

The word “perfect” doesn’t even accurately encapsulate our wedding at the farm. The farm was the first location we visited as we started our wedding planning journey- and it was our last. We went in with the intention of wanting to elope, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to look. Immediately after meeting and speaking with Steve and Stacy, we knew this was where our wedding was meant to be. Steve took the time to speak with us regarding the vision for our intimate wedding, even on the first day we met. After securing our date, the next few months of planning alongside Steve and Candice were nothing but magical. Both of them were fast to respond, even if we bombarded them we messages, and were extremely patient, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. The weeks leading up to the event were even more magical than the months we spent planning. At our final planning meeting with Steve and Candice, it finally felt real. The two of them completely understood our vision, even though my husband and I felt like we had no idea what we wanted or were doing. The one thing we knew with certainty was that Steve and Candice not only knew what they were doing regarding the timeline, flowers, decorations, etc., but they also cared so much about us and making our wedding day the best day of our lives… and boy did they deliver. Steve and Candice and the entire team at the farm completely exceeded our expectations and I don’t think we will ever be able to express our gratitude for them. Even with a torrential downpour at 5PM on the dot, seconds after our outdoor ceremony concluded, the day was NOTHING short of perfect. My husband, our guests and I were blown away by everything: the beautiful set up of the ceremony in the pasture, the cocktail hour in the herb garden, and the reception in the barn, the INCREDIBLE farm-to-table food prepared by Steve, the outstandingly beautiful flowers harvested and arranged by Candice, the entire teams positive attitude and amazing service throughout the ENTIRE day and night… and the list goes on. Steve, Candice, and the entire team at the farm are the ones to thank for cultivating such an incredible atmosphere and ambiance at the farm. Again, perfect does not even begin to describe our the months leading up to our wedding day, and the day itself. I know I can confidently say, on behalf of myself, my husband, and all of our guests, a wedding at the farm is nothing short of a dream come true, and a breathtaking, memorable experience for everyone there. I know most couples end up writing positive reviews after their wedding day, but trust me when I tell you you won’t find a place like this anywhere else. The farm and the entire team radiated with positivity, love, and a passion to ensure our day was nothing short of perfect. And it was better than perfect. Though we just got married two days prior to me writing this review, I will be talking about our wedding at the farm, at least once a day, for the rest of my life. If you’re looking for a team that cares about not only you and your big day, but also takes pride in living up to what they advertise, the farm at Glenwood Mountain is it. Steve, Candice, Stacy, Tanya, and the entire team at the farm, we are eternally grateful to you for sharing your farm with us and making our wedding day a dream come true.

Candice and Steve were absolutely perfect in helping us throw the most beautiful wedding. The entire property at the Farm is spectacular, and gave us everything we could have wanted to achieve with a 'farm to table' venue. They make the Farm your home for the entire day and could not have been more accommodating in planning and setting up our wedding. I cannot overstate how gorgeous and special this venue is. The orchard where we held the ceremony had breathtaking views with the perfect backdrop. The herb garden cocktail hour was classy and elegant. And then the reception in the barn reveals dramatic architecture that is perfectly suited for a party. Steve and his team are truly world class chefs. Each time we have eaten there, it is the best food we've ever had. We could not wait to take our closest friends and family to our favorite 'restaurant', and as expected, they were all in shock about the quality of the food and its presentation. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. We fell in love with The Farm when we drove up for a tour of the venue in June 2021. The property is beautiful from the outdoor ceremony space to the indoor reception room. The food is equally amazing and some of the best meals we have ever had (highly recommend their farm to table dinners as well!). From their cocktail hour, to salad, to dinner, to desserts, all ingredients are fresh farm to table and presented beautifully. I have never been to a wedding where the food was as amazing as this. They also were able to accommodate many different dietary needs. Working with the two owners couldn't have been easier. Candice was my day of coordinator and florist which was not only convenient, but also a wonderful experience as she was calm and knowledgeable. Working with Steve on the menu and logistics for the wedding was smooth and he really helped bring our vision to life. The venue is beautiful, inside and out and we are still having guests calling to compliment us on the food, the venue, and the cows! The entire team who worked our wedding was kind, patient, happy, and easy to work with.

Our wedding was absolutely wonderful thanks to The Farm! Steve, his entire family, and all of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was amazing. The food was phenomenal, especially cocktail hour! All of our guests could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the venue and the atmosphere. We are so glad we chose The Farm. They were super supportive and accommodating. We would highly, highly recommend them!

Our wedding was absolutely wonderful thanks to The Farm! Steve, his entire family, and all of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was amazing. The food was phenomenal, especially cocktail hour! All of our guests could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the venue and the atmosphere. We are so glad we chose The Farm.
