The Event Center offers versatility and charm with a working stone fireplace, hardwood floors and vaulted ceiling. The Farm was the most incredible partner for our small 40-person wedding. They were detailed, organized, professional, and kind, and delivered a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everything was expertly coordinated and the venue, food, and drinks were exceptional. It was a magical experience from the rehearsal dinner to the reception. I can't say enough about the quality of people and products, the true pros, and the best wedding experience. The venue is beautiful, and intimate but also has tremendous potential for a large fete. No detail was left to chance and their list of preferred vendors equally delivered the most incredible service. I can not say enough wonderful things about the Farm and our team who made our wedding day the talk of everyone we know.

The Farm was the most incredible partner for our small 40-person wedding. They were detailed, organized, professional, and kind, and delivered a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everything was expertly coordinated and the venue, food, and drinks were exceptional. It was a magical experience from the rehearsal dinner to the reception. I can't say enough about the quality of people and products, the true pros, and the best wedding experience. The venue is beautiful, and intimate but also has tremendous potential for a large fete. No detail was left to chance and their list of preferred vendors equally delivered the most incredible service. I can not say enough wonderful things about the Farm and our team who made our wedding day the talk of everyone we know.

We LOVE everything about The Farm! When researching wedding venues, we were looking for a venue that was quiet, calm, off the beaten path, and had a very natural and down-to-earth vibe. We scheduled a visit to The Farm to check it out and we knew that as soon as we arrived, this would be the place where we would get married. It is a gorgeous property—beautiful buildings, lots of reused materials, well-organized, spacious, lots of vegetation, a garden, and (of course!) farm animals. But, probably one of the most important parts of this venue is the team. We worked most closely with Shannon (our wedding coordinator) and Satima (liaison to the chef and food team), both of whom were amazing, super well-organized, incredibly friendly, supportive, understanding, and patient. You can truly tell that The Farm really works with their clients and gets to know them; they make you feel like family! My partner and I were pretty open about what we were looking for in a wedding otherwise; we knew that our main priorities were a beautiful, outdoor venue and good food and good drinks. The Farm far exceeded all of our expectations! We put together such a great menu with Satima and they also provided alternative meals to folks with food allergies and sensitivities. Seriously, the food is so so so amazing and worth every penny! And we had a open bar with customized drinks (named after our doggos!). Shannon was a fantastic wedding planner and kept us on track throughout the wedding planning process. The Farm is very transparent about the services that they offer and they also work closely with a fantastic group of preferred vendors (we worked with Stargazer Designs for floral, Bright Light Entertainment for DJ/music/karaoke, Hoppy Trails for transportation, and Jeanne's hair and make-up). Shannon is wonderful to work with—again, very organized, creative, and has a great sense of intuition. And, on the day of the wedding, Shannon was a super hero, keeping everything on track and ready to help anyone! Really, I can't say enough wonderful things about The Farm. The property is amazing and gorgeous (it feels very private and serene), all of the staff beyond wonderful, the team behind food and drinks are spectacular (and worth every penny), and the organizational staff are wise and patient. We'd highly recommend hiring a wedding planner through The Farm and using any and all of the services that they offer (food, drinks, decoration, etc.). We also stayed in one of their cabins overnight and it was such a perfect way to end our wedding night and start our lives together. Huge thanks to everyone at The Farm!

Every single detail about our wedding at The Farm was totally and completely perfect!! We can't stop thinking about how wonderful everything was and missing our amazing weekend. We had numerous guests tell us it was THE BEST wedding they had ever been to.The venue is gorgeous. Our photos are jaw-dropping with the beautiful trees, mountains, flowers, and horses. Even in the heat of summer the surrounding trees and mountains kept things cool and breezy (no bugs!). We got some wind and rain during our reception and the screens and coverings kept things dry. AC for the dance floor and fans on the patio worked amazingly.The food is incredible! They were so helpful in planning out a menu including tons of children and food allergies. Guests are still raving about how good everything was! The pricing is competitive and considering the quality and personalization, it is outrageously affordable. We did our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, day-of brunch, and reception all from The Farm and everything we had from appetizers to desserts was stellar.We planned our wedding from out of state, and part of the reason was how centralized all of the planning, decor, bar, and catering was at The Farm. And they worked with us to coordinate other vendors, keep in contact with them, and planned for day-of. We were kept abreast of deadlines, were guided through every step, so we were never overwhelmed or felt behind. Importantly, we felt like were part of The Farm family from the moment we booked. There is not a single person on staff there who was not kind, patient, supportive, easy to work with, and approachable. We also loved having on-site cabins where our families and wedding party could stay. This made the whole weekend feel like a big fun party, meant changing and preparation was easy, those with children could pop back quickly, and leant itself easily to after parties. In short, we cannot recommend The Farm highly enough. You will cherish absolutely every minute there from touring through the big day!

The Farm exceeded our expectations & delivered a day that was meaningful, fun and beautiful all at once. From our first visit to our wedding day, we felt as though we were truly taken care of. We feel so grateful to have utilized the wedding coordinator service, which enabled us to really be present during our day itself, Arienne was outstanding. Seeing that we were planning this wedding from across the country, the Farm made each meeting seamless and ensured that our vision was met. However, it was so nice to trust their creative abilities - and leave some of the decor elements up to the team. The presentation of each table and the overall venue was gorgeous. The Farm also shared critical recommendations that enabled our guests to have a top notch experience, such as, leveraging a bus service for our guests. Additionally the Farm provided recommended vendors which informed our decisions and made planning that much easier. Again these recommended vendors were top-notch. Our guests were blown away by the venue, it’s elegant yet comfortable setting. And we are still hearing just how incredible the food was… and the Farm made sure we had the chance to eat too… we also agree it was spectacular. We have no regrets in how we partnered with the Farm, our experience or the memories we created! We only wish we can go back & do it all again, simply because we had that much fun! And to this day, we continue to hear from our guests that this was the best wedding they’ve ever attended… much of that credit goes to The Farm and the culture they’ve built as a team! Our daughter and now husband wanted a wedding that reflected their love of the nature and the mountains, and The Farm, with its idyllic setting was absolutely the perfect choice!As a working farm, the fields of flowers and vegetables, the horses in the pasture, the rustic barns and furniture, all make this venue such a unique space. Guests arriving were so impressed and in awe of its beauty. We chose the flower-filled garden with its magnificent rustic silo and its view of the mountains for the ceremony, which made it truly memorable. The event space and pavilion, also gorgeous! The options of furniture pieces were exceptional, with beautiful farmhouse tables, french bistro chairs, crafted side tables with whiskey barrels as their base. And the decor selection was amazing, eclectic place settings, lanterns, signage, and vases — we had so many great choices. We wanted a semi-rustic, yet elegant setting and The Farm delivered!Another great experience was that our family and wedding party stayed in the cottages and cabins on the property. It was a special way for us all to be together leading up to the wedding. The Hickory and Chestnut Cabins are gorgeous, felt like going back in time, yet completely updated. I can not say enough about The Farm team and staff. The professionalism and attention to detail was top notch and an absolute pleasure to work with.From the get-go, Scott was so thoughtful and kind when meeting our daughter, we were hooked. Satima worked with us to create an amazing menu as well as executing a sit-down plated dinner for 125 guests! The selections of wine and beer were excellent and the mixologist, Kelsi, crafted some lovely signature cocktails. The food prepared by Chef Mike was outstanding! The local, fresh ingredients used creatively without being “fussy”. The late-night pizza was also a big hit. We had so many compliments from our guests that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Chef Mike was also there the next morning as we stumbled in for brunch, making Eggs Benedict and French Toast for 35! Flawless!And Shannon, our wedding coordinator, was a gem! She was so wonderful to work with and was professional, competent, and organized. We had a vision of what we wanted, and together we made it work. She coordinated with all the vendors, making that last month up to the wedding a breeze. She looked after us and the new couple on the day, to help calm the nerves, make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, looked after our older guests. She’s was attentive and caring, and we thank her! A shout out to the whole team and staff, they know what they are doing and clearly love what they do! We highly recommend The Farm for someone looking for an event to remember!

We couldn’t bid adieu to 2022 without thanking The Farm staff for hosting such an extraordinary wedding weekend for our daughter, son-in-law, and guests that the glow remains—five months later! Last summer, our Los Angeles-based daughter, who’s been coming to her uncle’s horse farm outside Asheville for the past 22 years, and Atlanta-raised husband had the casual mountain wedding with first-rate food that they imagined, and we had as hassle-free a celebration with 150 guests as we could ask for. From the time we toured the venue with Brad 16 months earlier to the last gluten-free take-out breakfast packed up the day after the wedding for a guest, we found the staff unfailingly friendly and prompt, whether fielding queries about food, décor, lodging, billing, dietary, or handicap accommodations. With its all-inclusive service, the seven rustic yet upscale cabins, games, horses (!), fire pit, beautiful indoor space and outdoor pavilion, The Farm had something for everyone: a safe environment for Covid-wary guests, a beautiful background for the ceremony, perfect space for dancing, cornhole for the competitive, havens throughout the property for guests to catch up away from the music, and horses to delight the toddler flower girl and septuagenarian equestrians alike. Chef Mike outdid himself with the eclectic menu dreamed up by the bride and groom, from classic Southern to vegetarian Indian to sumptuous Chinese food served in Chinese takeout boxes ordered by Joe. Wedding coordinator Arienne kept our giddy wedding party of about 20 on schedule, whisking away the bride and groom to the meadow for their golden hour pictures before all the celebrations began; Jean deftly answered all billing questions. We couldn’t have imagined a finer wedding weekend—and guests from as far away as France and Israel and as near as Candler continue to tell us so. Thank you, The Farm team—and may you continue to bring such joy in 2023!

With its all-inclusive service, the seven rustic yet upscale cabins, games, horses (!), fire pit, beautiful indoor space and outdoor pavilion, The Farm had something for everyone: a safe environment for Covid-wary guests, a beautiful background for the ceremony, perfect space for dancing, cornhole for the competitive, havens throughout the property for guests to catch up away from the music, and horses to delight the toddler flower girl and septuagenarian equestrians alike. Chef Mike outdid himself with the eclectic menu dreamed up by the bride and groom, from classic Southern to vegetarian Indian to sumptuous Chinese food served in Chinese takeout boxes ordered by Joe. Wedding coordinator Arienne kept our giddy wedding party of about 20 on schedule, whisking away the bride and groom to the meadow for their golden hour pictures before all the celebrations began; Jean deftly answered all billing questions. We couldn’t have imagined a finer wedding weekend—and guests from as far away as France and Israel and as near as Candler continue to tell us so. The entire venue, and our coordinator specifically (Shannon is AMAZING) was extremely professional and detail-oriented while always making sure we had as little stress on us as possible. While any wedding has its stresses around planning, The Farm did everything the could to help. But boy did they really shine during the day of the event itself. All of the staff was extremely calm, collected, and professional, all while completely taking care of business and making it the best day of our lives. Everything ran so smoothly and if there was a hiccup or a question, it was never a big deal and always delivered in a way to make sure that was clear. Also the venue is just incredibly gorgeous and the food was absolutely delicious, so overall just an amazing experience. We cannot recommend them enough!

We had an AMAZING experience with The Farm. They even magically were able to order us a rainbow for right after our ceremony (*with no rain). On August 6th, 2022, we had the pleasure of getting married at The Farm in Candler, NC. For several years we have lived just down the street from this beautiful property and have always enjoyed passing by, with curiosity, on our drives home. When it came time to choose a wedding venue, we toured a few places in the area. While each place we toured had mountain charms or other elements that we liked, we knew we found the perfect venue 10 minutes after arriving at The Farm. Here's why:While the mountain vistas are not as prominent as elsewhere, The Farm feels more “in the mountains.” The groundskeepers know how to leverage the natural beauty of local plants to make the landscaping feel organic while also thoughtfully designed. Apparently, the owner is a skilled woodworker and has built the several cabins on site, the barns and much of the rustic and refined furnishings. Everything has a hand-crafted personal touch. Working with the staff at The Farm was just as personalized. Every member of the staff was a pleasure to work with. They all communicated clearly and professionally while also being genuinely friendly. The Farm is a nearly full-service event space. We interacted with their catering staff, bartenders, and event coordinator. The only things we outsourced were the cake, florist, entertainment and photographer. Right off the bat, you can tell that this team is competent, professional, and they truly care about making your wedding as perfect as you can imagine. Our trust in them eased any anxiety about the details or execution leading up to, and on, the day of the wedding.Specifically, we want to highlight our event coordinator, Shannon Killbride, who shepherded us through the entire planning process, the rehearsal, and most importantly the wedding day itself. She made the entire process stress free and a joy. She worked well with all of the vendors that we brought in, was respectful to our families and guests, and was always available when needed with champagne, a snack, gentle encouragement or water. She anticipated, along with the rest of the staff, every need, question, and concern before we could even complete the thought. The fact that The Farm has a full kitchen and staff, led by the incredibly talented Chef Mike, made menu planning with Satima, the catering coordinator, a breeze. This process was a perfect blend of options provided by Satima and Chef Mike along with our special requests. We wanted delicious food that highlighted fresh local ingredients and blended our diverse tastes. Together, they guided us towards a menu that was executed flawlessly. We chose a family style dinner with passed appetizers, but there are also plated and buffet service options. Costs and menu choices were all clearly communicated prior to the finalized menu, as well as carefully arranging for our guests with dietary restrictions. They took the added step of packing up boxes of every dish and appetizer for us to enjoy after the nerves and excitement of the day faded into late night hunger.If you want a wedding at one of the most naturally beautiful, rustic, and thoughtfully designed venues, with a staff that expertly blends professionalism, planning, communication, warmth, and fine dining, you can do no better than The Farm. I truly don’t even know how to fully capture how off the charts amazing The Farm was as our wedding venue. We used them for our out of state wedding and were so beyond appreciative of them every step of the way. They’re all such experts within their focus areas (planning, food, drinks, etc) that you’re in such great hands as you’re making some of the most important decisions for your big day. The vendors they recommend and how helpful they are with planning is beyond professional and top notch. I haven’t even talked about the food and drink yet….INCREDIBLE. Like truly some of the best food we’ve ever had and a menu fully created with us and the chef. Also, the cocktails were so handcrafted and specialty and delicious. Like I said I could go on and on with how perfect The Farm was and still not do them justice. There is literally not a single thing I would changed with them or that went wrong. The venue is wedding ready just as it is, needing just a few personal touches to make it ready for your event. They also have tons of decor available for your use, included in the cost. We LOVED the food and even had special Peruvian appetizers made that the chef was able to make taste very authentic. It was a magical experience... from the onsite cottages... the amazing food... the outdoor and indoor venues... the attention to every detail. The service was outstanding. Our guests LOVED the wedding... but most importantly... the bride and groom were over the moon! Highly recommend!!!

We just had our wedding last weekend and The Farm and it was THE BEST experience!!! Not only is the property gorgeous, but they made planning a wedding in NC from 3,000 miles away SO easy and stress-free! Our coordinator Shannon was super helpful and communicative and made it so that we did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. We also rented out most of the cabins on the property for the weekend and our friends and family who stayed there absolutely loved it. One of the best things about The Farm is the food is absolutely incredible. Having good food was very important to us and the menu coordinator and chef worked very closely with us to design a menu that reflected both of our cultures. We had so many people come up to us afterwards and say that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding! They also worked with us to create the most delicious signature cocktails ever!!! Thank you Shannon, Satima, Chef Mike and the rest of The Farm staff for helping us create the most unforgettable and magical wedding weekend!

I literally came to property 30 minutes before our ceremony and had plenty of time because the staff handles everything. My mother and several family members rented cabins on property and it was a great gathering place for after the ceremony. Melissa is a joy to work with and makes the process so smooth. A month later I am still getting compliments on chief Mike’s food. Even in the dead of winter our pictures were beautiful with the many back drops available on site. My wedding was perfect and I owe it all to the team!

My husband and I were married at The Farm on 12/4/21. From the moment I saw The Farm's photos and reviews on The Knot, I knew this was my venue. After going to visit, we were both absolutely sold. The staff clearly know what they are doing and are a well oiled machine, the grounds and building are gorgeous, and it fit what I was going for. A lot of people seem to gravitate towards super rustic weddings in barns, but that was not quite my style. The Farm fit a perfect balance of rustic, but more elegant and upscale. Anything we wanted or envisioned for our wedding, they could do for us or had done before (within reason and weather permitting of course). We took advantage of the onsite cabins, which was fantastic for getting ready and ending the day - no driving or walking very far! Our day-of coordinator Shannon was amazing, I am prone to lots of anxiety and she really made everything as stress free as possible in the month and days leading up to the wedding. I'm also the kind of person who doesn't believe anything can be perfect, something always goes wrong right? Wrong, our wedding was absolutely perfect and if anything went wrong, I surely was not aware! I was able to turn over wedding favors, send-off materials, photos, table place cards, etc. to Shannon and never had to worry about those things again. They were all put out for us and anything needing to go home with us was put together carefully and placed in our cabin at the end of the night. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all set up beautifully and exactly how I envisioned. We were able to have lawn games since the weather was so nice, but also a hot chocolate and apple cider bar that was decorated beautifully and was a huge hit. The food was amazing, many of our friends and family still talk about how delicious the appetizers were and dinner was a hit as well! The staff made sure we found time to sit down and eat, they were super attentive to us, but even so we were given any remaining leftovers (including slices of our cake!) to take with us that night. Last but certainly not least, it was a fantastic place for photos! Our wedding photos that we took all over the grounds came out phenomenal. I couldn't be happier that we chose the Farm and I would highly recommend it!

You can get a package with a 30-day wedding planner, which I also highly recommend as they 1000% made my day seamless and carefree. Outstanding- Chef Mike and his team do an amazing job of preparing the food and Satima is stellar at working with you on your budget and also what you have in mind for your food. The Beverage Program?- Amazing. Because it's NC, you'll be bringing your own liquor, but their beer selection is top notch. If you're looking to do signature drinks feel free to ask Brad for recommendations. They're so great at what they do.The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and Bev and Myron (the owners) are so incredibly kind and personable. The coordination? I literally can't say enough. They have multiple coordinators- we had Meredith and she was such a rockstar. She did a phenomenal job wrangling the groomsmen in and getting them to focus when necessary, she made sure there was literally never a moment I was stressing. She was on top of every single second of the wedding. The day would have been special no matter what, but literally nothing went wrong and I owe such a big part of that to the Farm and their team. Also, if you want to stay on site, their cabins are SO CUTE. We kept our bridal party on site and it was so nice to not only get to hang out with everyone, but also to not have to worry about transportation after the wedding.

It’s rare that a wedding can be called absolutely perfect. It’s even more rare when an entire wedding weekend can be called flawless. The Farm delivered an incredible experience that will create memories for a lifetime for me, my husband and all of our family and friends. We hosted our entire wedding weekend at The Farm – Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony, Reception, and Post-Wedding Brunch and rented all cabins on site. Booking The Farm as our venue was the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue is absolutely gorgeous but the people there are what make it so special. They really took care of us and our in house coordinator - Shannon - was amazing at adjusting quickly when the weather was showing a high chance of storms and delivered a beautiful ceremony in our alternate location. They truly made everything so easy and took care of all the decorations, set up, and tear down of the event which was amazing to not have to worry about all those small details! The Farm was an absolute dream for our wedding from our first visit to the day after our wedding. When we started the wedding planning process, we had many venues booked to visit. After our time at The Farm, we canceled all of our other appointments. We knew that this was where we wanted to get married. They provided a list of recommended vendors, which was so helpful with us living in Atlanta. We booked all of our vendors from their list and had most key details in place before COVID hit. Then, we found ourselves in a pandemic. The Farm clearly communicated every step of the way. They quickly built an outdoor pavilion to further accommodate their couples and were as flexible as they could possibly be throughout the process with COVID guidelines, mask policies, temperature checks at the door, and everything we needed to feel safe and comfortable. We safely attended 'The Taste of the Farm' event and stayed onsite to experience one of their beautiful cabins. We had Zoom calls throughout planning and loved getting to know Emily even better as we got closer to our day! Emily was so incredibly attentive, kind, and always helped us stay focused on it being our day. She helped us figure out any challenge that came our way and made us feel so special! Also, the food was absolutely delicious, and on the day of, Satima always made sure we had everything we needed. I specifically remember feeling myself getting stressed right after the group photos as we were trying to make sure we quickly captured everyone since it was cold outside. Satima brought a warm cup of water to hold in our hands and one of our delicious custom cocktails. At one time, I thought \"where did my faux fur wrap go?\

Communication was great throughout planning, the setting was beautifully decorated and I didn't feel like I needed to micromanage anything. With all the space my guests felt so safe and they still comment it was the most fun they have had at a wedding- pre or post COVID. The entire Farm team was fabulous throughout the process. We also attended a Taste of the Farm in February and were so impressed with the attention we received, and the food was so delicious. We had reached the menu planning stage and THEN - the virus situation hit. The wedding had to be postponed twice, and with all the uncertainty, we finally decided that the event could not occur as expected in NC. We were heartbroken for many reasons, but really were disappointed that we could not have our special rehearsal dinner event at The Farm. As previously mentioned, all of The Farm team members were so helpful throughout the process, and were especially flexible and understanding with the changes. I will sing their praises to anyone who asks. Maybe we can enjoy the venue in another way sometime in the future. I know I won't have to go \"shopping\" for a venue in the Asheville area ever again. This is my go to place.

While having a 10 person wedding wasn't our original vision The Farm helped to make our wedding day feel like we planned it from the start. They took a one day, 130 person celebration and made a four day, 10 person wedding weekend! We were able to get pampered for an entire weekend all thanks to The Farm. Many other venues were canceling during this scary time. The Farm took this set back in stride and managed to give us an even better weekend while following all local and federal restrictions. We felt safe and cared for during the entire process. Having to change our entire wedding a few months before could have stressed anyone out. Luckily, The Farm saw this as a fun challenged and were excited to think up a new vision for us. They even made it a point to make all of our guests feel special by catering the bar options to their tastes (I.E a Bourbon Bar for the Dad's, Gin and Tonic bar for mom's, speciality mocktails for a pregnant Matron of honor and a cigar lounge for the groom's brothers). The Farm isn't in the wedding business to just make money; they truly care for their clients and want each wedding to be the best it can be. My husband and I can say for certain our wedding would not have been the same without The Farm. Words cannot express how thankful we are for them.

I don’t even know where to start. Our day was absolutely perfect. We had our ceremony and reception here and had catering and wedding planning services with The Farm as well. My husband and I live in Germany and found this venue through Instagram (I’m originally from Virginia and he’s from South Carolina). I was dreading wedding planning, especially with being overseas, but The Farm honestly made it so easy! From our first point of contact, to talking with the Chef (Satima) and working with our wedding coordinator (Jennifer) everyone was so friendly and accommodating! It truly was an all inclusive venue offering all the services including a place to stay for us and our family and friends, catering, and they have an array of decorations that you can use. This includes chairs, tables, napkins, table cloths, etc... Our coordinator Jennifer even worked with our florist to decide what designs would look best. It was everything I was looking for! We loved all of it! And Jennifer was an awesome coordinator! Our moms and sisters stepped in for us at the food tasting and they loved her! She also pinned my dress up for me since my bustle wasn’t working during my wedding. She is just so unbelievably sweet and we LOVED working with her! I truly cannot say enough good things, but my husband and I 100% would recommend this venue! And we suggest you use their on site cabins too, it makes things that much easier the day of!

If I could leave a 100000 star review for The Farm I would! Our wedding was absolutely the best day ever, and that is 100% because of the staff at The Farm. From the day we toured to our wedding day, every single person we worked with was incredibly kind, easy to work with, flexible, and SO helpful with planning/offering ideas, and making sure the day was exactly how we wanted it. Myron & Beverly (owners) have thought of absolutely everything someone could possibly want in a venue, and there are so many cool details/little touches that make a wedding at The Farm so unique and memorable. We worked mostly with Bethany initially, who gave us multiple tours, helped us get all of the details laid out, coordinated our food tasting, and was always prompt with responding to any questions we had. The cabins are AWESOME! It was so nice having everyone in one spot, but we all had our own space too. Satima planned our menu, and truly went above and beyond to make sure the menu was not only perfect, but that I had plenty to eat as well (I am gluten/dairy intolerant). Between Satima and Chef Mike, the food was seriously some of the best food we have ever had! Our wedding coordinator, Jennifer, has got to be one of the best in the business! She has awesome ideas, and helped me so much in taking my ideas and making sure they worked out. She (in addition to everyone at the farm) genuinely cares about making the wedding planning process as stress free as possible and she did more than we ever even expected to make sure our day was perfect. I absolutely cannot say enough nice things about this place. The venue itself is gorgeous! There are so many options for a ceremony/reception, and one thing that really worked for me was the indoor option is almost (those mountains are hard to beat!) as beautiful as the outdoor option. It was comforting to me that I knew if it rained/was too cold I would not be disappointed if we had to have everything inside. Fortunately, we were able to have the ceremony outside, and the pictures look like they are straight out of a magazine with the beautiful background. Our guests are still talking about it-- most have said this was the best wedding they have ever been to. Anyone that is even remotely considering getting hitched in NC absolutely should check out The Farm! I cannot imagine a more perfect venue/staff exists!

If I could leave a 100000 star review for The Farm I would! Our wedding was absolutely the best day ever, and that is 100% because of the staff at The Farm. From the day we toured to our wedding day, every single person we worked with was incredibly kind, easy to work with, flexible, and SO helpful with planning/offering ideas, and making sure the day was exactly how we wanted it. My husband and I got married at the Farm on 9/1/19 and couldn't be happier with our decision. These people really know how to host a wedding! Every aspect of the entire night was perfect - even with a few hiccups (that were out of the venue's control) they made everything incredibly smooth and fun for everybody. We truly felt 100% stress free and relaxed because we knew we were in the best hands. We still have guests telling us that the food was the best they've ever had at a wedding (seriously, the food is amazing). From the day we set our wedding date through the actual wedding, the staff at the Farm was extremely helpful with the planning process and were open to any and all questions we had. They have an awesome store of decorations which means a LOT less stress in that department. The venue itself is gorgeous, we got endless complements on the venue from our guests. We don't have a single complaint! Bottom line, get married at the Farm and they will take care of you, and you'll have the time of your life!Erica was our wedding coordinator and we can not say enough good things about her. She is VERY good at what she does and she's an awesome person in general! We always felt really comfortable with her, and we felt like she really knew what we were going for and made it all happen. If you care about your wedding's food, you can't go wrong with The Farm. Everybody talked about it. Our guests couldn't get over the location, the horses, the way the sun sets across the fields - we just couldn't have asked for much more. We plan to go back and stay at the Hickory cabin for our anniversary in the future - it's a special place!

Review for The Farm, A Gathering Place 6/15/19I really cannot say enough good things about the staff at The Farm. Several friends recommended The Farm as a venue for my daughter’s wedding and after visiting six other venues, we booked it 1 ½ years before the wedding. In that year and a half, we visited several times and experienced some of their special events such as culinary escapes and cooking classes. Everything The Farm does is on point! Our wedding was June 8th and EVERYTHING was fantastic. First of all, we booked all of the cabins on the property for family members of the bride and groom. This gave us some extra time to spend together and get to know each other. The “cabins” are beautiful and very comfortable. We all enjoyed exploring the property, playing with the horses and “Donkey” the burro. For the wedding, Bethany Holder was our wedding coordinator. She was beyond amazing! For a year and a half, she patiently and expertly answered all of my questions and gave us guidance on every aspect of the wedding. A couple of weeks before the wedding, she took over all the communications with vendors and developed a detailed timeline. She executed our dream wonderfully. And on the day of the wedding, she and the staff did EVERYTHING! It was like I was a guest at our daughter’s wedding. The wedding and reception were beautiful. We had 170 people. The wedding was outside under a clear tent and the reception was inside/outside. We had a large band and there was plenty of room for the stage and dancing. Chef Mike and the kitchen staff outdid themselves: appetizers of homegrown tomato bruschetta, chicken and waffles, ahi tuna. Our main courses were shrimp and grits, flank steak and gnocchi with roasted vegetables. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Several guests commented that it was not only the best wedding food they had ever had, but the best meal they have ever had! Brad and the bar staff created and served fantastic signature cocktails; a seasonal Old Fashioned and a spicy cucumber vodka drink. Throughout the dinner and reception, the staff were attentive to every detail, even pushing in chairs, clearing plates and straightening napkins if a guest left their seat so the venue always looked lovely. We did have a downpour on the day of the wedding, and we elected to have the ceremony in a clear tent with an arbor in front of the horse pasture instead of under the gazebo. It was beautiful. And immediately after the ceremony the white dappled horses came over for wedding photos with the bride and groom and guests. We could not have planned it better, but I suspect The Farm staff had a lot to do with the timing! Earlier in the day, we had one snafu with the tent gutter but after putting our heads together with Bethany and the venue manager, we were able to resolve the issue in time for the ceremony. As the bride and groom exited, the guests blew bubbles. And the bubble machine provided by The Farm, made for beautiful photos. Rather than a late-night snack, we wanted to provide our guests with Bojangles chicken biscuits as they boarded the buses. The Farm staff even picked up the biscuits for us and kept them hot in their warming oven. These biscuits were a huge hit! \tOverall, I cannot thank the Farm enough for making Paige and Kent’s wedding such a carefree, joyous occasion!

If you want a venue that truly cares about your wedding day this is the place. I can’t put into words how amazing The Farm is! We for sure made the right decision when deciding where to have our ceremony and reception. We would 100% recommend The Farm as a wedding venue to any bride and groom to-be out there! We had an amazing experience with them. They made the planning process so easy for us. They provided us a list of recommended vendors that we used to choose from and every vendor was exceptional and worked great with The Farm. I can’t tell you how easy it was to work with them, especially on the day of! EVERYTHING was done and ready to go and My husband and I had absolutely nothing to worry about, nor did we ever feel like something would not be ready for us. They took AMAZING care of us throughout this whole journey and insured that all the tiny details were handled. I’ve heard many brides tell me they were unable to eat on their wedding day due to nerves, or not having the time, that was not the case for us. With everything being taken care of for us we enjoyed the delicious food they provided for us. Absolutely delicious!! We had absolutely no stress on the day of which meant we could enjoy the beauty of the whole farm! From the gorgeously blooming flowers, to the scenic mountains in the backdrop, it’s absolutely stunning! We recommend staying in The Chestnut Cabin for a little Honeymoon after the wedding!!

Erica was our coordinator and she was beyond incredible from start to finish. I knew that no matter what happened, we were in good hands! The Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding and they met our expectations to a tee! We held our ceremony and reception at the venue and were so happy. The setting is beautiful with 360 mountain views and lots of great picture spots. The main venue center is great and it was so nice to have the fireplace blazing on our rainy winter wedding day. We rented out all the onsite cabins for us, our wedding party, and our family and we all found it so nice to stay on the property for the weekend. The cabins are cute, very clean, and well equipped especially Chestnut Cabin which was great for my bridal party to get ready in. Lots of space!The Farm staff are so friendly, helpful, and ready to serve from Brad who gave us a first look tour of The Farm, to Georgeanna and Chef Mike who helped us design our menu, to our amazing wedding coordinator Erica who captured and executed our wedding day vision perfectly! The food is phenomenal, (seriously, so good!!) and Chef Mike was willing to create a custom dish just for our big day. It was really nice having the food onsite for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception.The Farm also has an amazing inventory of decor, dishes, and linens and it was great to have access to any and all of it, as opposed to having to source these items from other vendors.The Farm staff are very professional and easy to work with. They know what they're doing making it easy on us as the bride and groom, and our wedding day went off without a hitch. We would like to share what a truly wonderful experience the Farm provided for our daughter and son-in laws wedding reception. The venue was decorated just gorgeous and the little details such as the bride and groom's sweetheart table were amazing. We absolutely loved our wedding weekend at The Farm! It was great to have our friends and family stay on site for the whole weekend. Chef Mike is amazing! Since this was a destination wedding for us, it was really important to work with people who made us feel like we were there in person. Bethany even Facetimed with us for our 30 day meeting! The Farm also provides everything you need right on premises. From the onsite catering (Chef Mike is extremely talented!!), to their decor inventory, we barely needed to bring in anything from outside. The Farm was lovely and so well organized. I have been to other Venues that were so routine oriented that I felt like cattle being moved through. This was not the case at The Farm. It was so personalized and well done! Our entire wedding party was so impressed with all the personalization, hard working staff (every single one of them) and the good notes that were taken. Everything flowed so beautifully and what seemed effortless to me as Mother of Bride . That was the best gift I could have received. My husband and I were able to give our family and friends full attention. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The Farm framed the best of Asheville with mountains, horses and gorgeous rich foliage, friendly smiling faces. I have been to many venue weddings and this one was my favorite. Bethany was our Wedding Coordinator. My daughter and I made the decisions on flowers, cakes band, shuttles, etc. based on a list that Bethany supplied us with. After we had all the contracts and details worked out we handed it over to Bethany and she made out the day of schedule and took over the communication to coordinate all vendors for the day of. Bethany was worth it! My husband and I simply got to relax and enjoy the entire Wedding day! Grateful to the owners who were so helpful!

First off, this place is just stunning ,it is about a 20 minute ride outside of Asheville on rolling hills is this beautifully kept farm with horses, a garden, cottages and all around amazing grounds. The food is farm to table and all local with an amazing chef that makes you and your guests feel like they are at a five star restaurant. After dinner my guests would congratulate my husband and I but then would go on and on about how amazing the food was and how impressed they were with the service. Erica was my day of coordinator. I am from out of state and she would email back in a timely manner, talk to me when I had concerns about silly attention to details that I was unsure about and made my day super relaxing. Pretty much she is amazing and will make your day magical. My husband, family, friends and I would HIGHLY recommend The Farm if you are looking for a extraordinary place, with amazing service and attention to detail for weddings in the Asheville area. This place is literally out of a fairy tale!

I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The Farm is incredibly beautiful and the top-notch team of staff provided the highest quality of service that you can get. Everyone involved in our wedding including the coordinator, chef, food staff, and even the owners of the farm were a true joy to work with. We took full advantage of their in-house decor and wedding coordinator services and I am so glad we did. Our coordinator, Erica, was extremely accommodating and involved us in every step of the planning process. She allowed us to customize our wedding exactly the way we wanted but took care of all of the details so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. We got married on a Friday and their was another wedding scheduled for Saturday, though you never would have known. The staff was so generous, accommodating, and present with us that it felt like the venue had been created just for our special day. The food was INCREDIBLE! Everyone who attended was raving about how delicious everything was and about how kind the staff was. I'm so grateful that we didn't have to worry about coordinating an outside vendor for the food and I'm incredibly pleased with the quality of food that Chef Mike produced.My extended family was able to take advantage of the onsite cabins at the venue. Every cabin was incredibly unique, pristine in quality and cleanliness, and located conveniently within walking distance of the ceremony site and reception hall. Our family enjoyed the cabins and location so much that they are talking about returning to the farm for vacation. My wife and I also enjoyed staying in the honeymoon suite cabin. When we got there after the reception, the staff had set out a bottle of champagne and brought left-over food and cupcakes from the reception for us to enjoy.If you are looking for high-quality service in a beautiful location, you will not find a better venue than The Farm - A Gathering Place.

She allowed us to customize our wedding exactly the way we wanted but took care of all of the details so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. We got married on a Friday and their was another wedding scheduled for Saturday, though you never would have known. The staff was so generous, accommodating, and present with us that it felt like the venue had been created just for our special day. The food was INCREDIBLE! Everyone who attended was raving about how delicious everything was and about how kind the staff was. I'm so grateful that we didn't have to worry about coordinating an outside vendor for the food and I'm incredibly pleased with the quality of food that Chef Mike produced.My extended family was able to take advantage of the onsite cabins at the venue. Every cabin was incredibly unique, pristine in quality and cleanliness, and located conveniently within walking distance of the ceremony site and reception hall. Our family enjoyed the cabins and location so much that they are talking about returning to the farm for vacation. My wife and I also enjoyed staying in the honeymoon suite cabin. When we got there after the reception, the staff had set out a bottle of champagne and brought left-over food and cupcakes from the reception for us to enjoy.If you are looking for high-quality service in a beautiful location, you will not find a better venue than The Farm - A Gathering Place.

We had an amazing wedding at The Farm! The wedding coordinator that we worked with was so attentive and great at helping us coordinate with all of the vendors. And on the day of she made everything seamless! All of the staff was so nice and really made us feel special on our big day. The location is GORGEOUS and we received so many compliments from our friends and family. Everyone loved getting to interact with the horses! We also loved how much The Farm was able to provide. From the catering (some of the best food we've had) to a closet full of decorations at our fingertips, things were made so much easier for us. We couldn't be happier with the decision we made to get married here. Nothing but wonderful things to say about The Farm and the wonderful staff that we worked with!

The Farm is an absolutely incredible wedding venue! The staff, especially our wedding coordinator Bethany, thought of everything, down to the tiniest of details and ensured that our wedding was stress-free from start to finish. Bethany took the time to get to know us and was able to infuse so many personal details into the decor. Her creative suggestions made for some of our most special moments of the day. Bethany and the catering coordinator, Georgeanna, were always easy to get in touch with, proactively communicated and literally thought of everything to make our big day go off without a single hitch. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue and still haven't stopped raving about how delicious the food was! Chef Mike and his crew served up what many of our guest considered some of the most amazing food they've ever had (and not just for wedding food...they meant ever!). Our wedding parties also loved staying in the cabins at the venue, which made for a super fun three-day party! The cabins were decorated gorgeously and were perfect for getting ready in together before the wedding and for post-wedding festivities! I honestly can't recommend The Farm enough. If you're looking for a venue that embodies rustic elegance, takes care of almost every detail for you, and offers delicious, seasonal menus then look no further.

If I could do it all over again, I’d choose the Farm EVERY single time. The team was so professional, receptive, responsive and timely. My (now) husband and I, fell in love in Asheville, live here, and wanted to continue our lives here - starting with the wedding. The Farm fit, most exquisitely. From the beauty of the outdoor venue to the indoor reception area, to the pleasantness of the staff and cleanliness of the cottages - we could not praise the farm more....Most of our friends and family are from out of town, so the farm was able to accommodate them in their cottages onsite. Which served as super convenient, but so special as these cottages are so DREAMY! Furthermore, Bethany and Georgeanna (the wedding and meal coordinators) were phenomenal. They answered every question possible, were always positive and upon 30 days prior to the wedding...my mom and I had no huge stressors leading up to the day of the wedding. Which, from what I hear, is abnormal. Conner and I, and both our sets of parents are so thankful for the Farm team and what they provided. It was the absolute best weekend of our lives. We're from Tampa, FL and wanted a mountain wedding. We were fortunate to be directed to The Farm from a local Asheville friend. The experience was great from gathering the initial quotes to our wedding day. Thankfully we were able to visit the site one time prior to our wedding, which was helpful in selecting our final decor. Bethany was our wedding coordinator, and was very accommodating (up to the day before the wedding – trying to decide to hold the ceremony outside or inside) as was Georgeanna helping with beverages and operations. Both ladies were extremely kind and professional.Our wedding date was December 29 and thankfully we did have the ceremony outside, which makes for a beautiful backdrop in pictures. Thanks again to the staff for making our special day flawless...I wasn't stressed about any wedding detail (transportation/DJ/photographers/cake delivery/decorations/food/officiant/etc) on our wedding day. My husband and I would highly recommend working with the team at The Farm!
