The Farmhouse is a minimalistic contemporary wedding venue based in Montgomery, TX. This timeless property is painted entirely white, providing a unique blank slate for each couple to personalize in whichever way they desire. With its simple but elegant furnishings and decor, this venue is sure to suit a wide variety of themes and decorative styles. The Farmhouse offers a generous range of spaces, ideal for both large wedding celebrations or intimate gatherings. The Farmhouse is the perfect venue for couples who want the freedom to make every aspect of their wedding their own. This venue can host between 50-300 guests. The property offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for wedding ceremonies. The climate-controlled chapel and reception space are perfect for indoor gatherings, while the grass courtyard and sheltered wrap-around porch provide the ideal location for outdoor weddings. Cocktail hours can be held in the furnished lobby or on the porch. Other available spaces at The Farmhouse include a get-ready suite, which features lounge areas and private dressing rooms. The venue is located atop 45 acres of countryside hills accented with a private lake, making this venue a spectacular choice for a scenic wedding. The Farmhouse does all-day rentals from 10 am until midnight and only book one event a day so you can enjoy your day to the fullest. To help ensure an effortless event, the venue can provide you with a variety of services and facilities. They offer outdoor bars, heaters, overhead café lighting, and the setup of tables and chairs. Additionally, they can supply you with a licensed bartender and lawn games such as oversized Jenga for the reception.

Beautiful venue with so many options that can be done based on theme of the wedding. Comes with table and chairs which is just a bonus when it comes to this process. It is also nice and secluded and private from the big city which just makes it even more intimate of a time with friends and family. Overall had so many compliments on the venue. I would highly recommend.

Gawwww, The Farmhouse. Wow. I knew it was the place before I got out the truck. It is such a GORGEOUS venue. This venue is a modern farmhouse vibe with some added chic. The bridal suite was absolutely stunning. The lighting is ridiculously perfect for photos and the scenery outside made you feel like it was a destination wedding. We had our ceremony in the chapel, hands down, one amazing view. I cannot believe my husband and I were able to have that view on our special day. Since the beginning, the staff were absolutely helpful, professional and loving. EVERY.STEP.OF.THE.WAY. I truly felt like the only bride getting married there. Their communication was very precise, kind, and extremely patient. They truly helped every step of the way, no matter how many questions I asked. Every guest complimented the venue and the staff that day. The staff were so helpful the morning of, helping with whatever we needed. From the management to the bartenders, my husband and I felt very taken care of. The experience of getting married at this venue definitely was one of the best decisions we made. When you know, you know and I felt that right when I walked in the venue. You know, this venue has so many brides walking in and out and yet, I felt like, throughout my journey, I was the only one that mattered-which shows how well their service is. My husband and I truly felt supported by The Farmhouse and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was perfect. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us. I loved loved loved working with you guys.

The event space is STUNNING and the décor they offer you to use is also very pretty. The event space can speak for itself however I did have some issues with the venue staff. 1: We had originally planned on using their wooden octagon in our ceremony space then having some friends move it after the ceremony to behind the head table. We were contacted about a month and a half before the wedding that we were now unable to do that because previous clients had broken it doing the same thing and just having it fixed, they did not want to go through that process again. While I understand their apprehension, they had already okay’d it for our wedding and I believe they should have honored what they said in the first place. If they were worried it would break again, they could have moved it for us with their workers or given us a heads up to be careful. Thankfully my grandfather made us one so we had our own that we could move no issues (and it didn’t break either). 2: We paid to be able to enter the event space early to start hair and make up because I had a large bridal party. During this time which we had paid for SEVERAL groups toured the space and came in and out of the bridal suite. A potential bride picked up décor that we brought and then moved it (I do not have any issues with this person because they had no idea it was mine and not the farmhouses however the person conducting the tour either was not paying attention and did not say anything). If it had been one maybe two tours, I understand it can be hard to go during the weekday when people work however it was more between 8-12 groups of people. 3: I had the Houston Asto Mascot Orbit attend our wedding as a surprise to my new husband. While we were eating dinner, I saw a bus pull up and made a comment to my husband asking if his mom ended up getting us a party bus to go back to the hotel. It then dawned on me that it was Orbits team arriving at the wedding. My maid of honor quickly ran to tell farm house staff to shut the barn doors that led into the entry way because the groom and the guest would be able to see Orbit walking up. The manager on staff that night then proceeded to tell her that she KNEW when Orbit was showing up and that no one could possibly see though the very large windows at night… She then proceeded to argue with my maid of honor about closing the farm doors and would not shut them, so my coordinators stepped in and helped my maid of honor shut the barn doors. It was very unprofessional and incredibly rude, all she needed to do was close the barn doors which are designed to open and shut but decided to go on some power trip about how she knew no one would be able to see Orbit when in fact we all had watched the van pull up. It seems that they keep in business because the venue is so stunning, however if you are looking for a venue that has great staff and people who are welcoming I would not recommend the Farm House.

This venue is the most beautiful venue I’ve ever seen, inside and out! My favorite part about it is the pond which is perfect for sunset photos and that in the chapel you are looking out to the pond through the giant glass windows, it’s so beautiful!! I also loved the bridal suite! It’s HUGE and I loved that its on the second story and over looks the whole reception hall and that it also has giant glass windows!! The venue staff and bartenders are so helpful and kind! They assisted me in anyway I needed!! They were always checking on us to make sure we were okay throughout the day and to see if we needed anything! My guests absolutely loved the venue as well, I got so many compliments on how beautiful it was! I have no complaints about this venue. Everything about it is perfect and I’m so happy I picked it to be my wedding venue!!

AND they offer tons of complimentary décor to borrow (different arbors, lanterns, geometric centerpieces, LED candles, etc.) which was a huge part of my decision-making. The staff were all very kind and helpful as well! Only downside is there aren't very many hotel options nearby (most are about 20 minutes away). For AirBnBs, I recommend booking or telling your guests to book WELL-AHEAD of time, otherwise those are sparse in the area too. For Uber, I had a guest whose Uber cancelled on them last-minute after the reception. They were luckily able to find another one, but I heard it can be difficult as well. Still, so happy with our choice to hold our wedding at The Farmhouse!

You will not regret having your wedding here!! The venue is BEAUTIFUL and perfect for large weddings. All of our guests complimented on how beautiful the venue is. All of the staff were so helpful, kind, and welcoming! It wasn’t an issue for us but keep in mind there aren’t any close hotels/airbnbs (closest hotel is 20 minutes away), the venue is very remote but worth it because it’s surrounding farm/lake adds to the beauty of the venue! I can’t recommend The Farmhouse enough!

From my very first visit to this venue, I knew this venue was exactly what we were envisioning. Therefore, we locked it in before even getting official tours of other venues! Throughout our 3 year (COVID postponed!) wedding process, The Farmhouse was primarily understanding, supportive, and flexible. They were great at responding quickly and were super organized and informed. When my active duty military husband was in town and we drove by the venue so he could see it in person, the then-manager gave us an impromptu tour and even turned on music for us, encouraging us to stay and enjoy for as long as we wanted. The Farmhouse is absolutely gorgeous in person and in our pictures, and it fit our style perfectly. All of our guests were raving! The bridal and groom suites on site made the day much more enjoyable and much less chaotic. The extra decor options they provide added so much to the style we were wanting. We definitely recommend The Farmhouse as a venue for any and all weddings!

This was the first venue we toured and I knew it was the one! The amount of compliments we got from guest as astonishing! A lot of of out guests were from out of state and they thought it was the most beautiful venue and location (which it it!). We could not have been happier with our experience working with the farmhouse. The décor they have for couples to use was so helpful, the suites for the bride and grooms are amazing, and the venue is so beautiful that you don't need a ton of décor. You can let the venue and the views speak for themselves!

Our wedding there was great but I did have one issue. In the June heat, the staff did not let guests “indoors“ from the outdoor patio until 40-45 minutes “after” the ceremony. The guests were extremely hot. I didn’t know that this was happening as we were taking pictures. But I heard from a few guests that it was quite some time out on the hot porch and that was not good, especially for the older folks . Other than that, nice place!

We had our wedding at the Farmhouse a couple weeks ago and I cannot say enough amazing things about them! The staff at the Farmhouse are so sweet and wonderful. From the very beginning through day of they assisted us in planning our big day and making it a magical day. Anytime there was a question, they were quick to respond and informative of everything!As with any wedding/big event there are bound to be hiccups or small problems. The Farmhouse was on top of it though. The Farmhouse staff coordinated and communicated with my Day of Coordinator effectively and everything went smoothly. I NEVER knew there was ever an issue until the very end and everything had already been settled and taken care of. That’s the type of above and beyond dedication and attention they give to their guests.Our wedding was stunningly beautiful, and we cherish the magic that existed that day. So much thanks to the Farmhouse!

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Farmhouse in November 2020. The venue is absolutely amazing and stunning! The staff at the Farmhouse is beyond amazing. Canon and Jael are simply the best! They were so helpful throughout the entire process from Day One. Planning a wedding during the pandemic was already difficult enough. However, Canon and Jael were there every step of the way to answer all of our questions and to offer any help they could provide. They were quick to respond to emails and phone calls. They went above and beyond to help and accommodate my wife and I during the wedding planning process. They are super friendly and always had a positive attitude throughout the process. I would give Canon and Jael 100 out of 10 stars for being so great! I would highly recommend the Farmhouse to other couples looking to get married there!

The staff was so communicative and helpful during the whole process - and that’s say a lot since we booked with them the week before lockdown! Everyone that works there is so attentive, quick in responding, and happy to help you have the wedding of your dreams. They ensured my wedding day went off without an issue. And it was more beautiful that I even imagined. I am so happy my dream wedding came to life. I highly recommend this venue. You will not be disappointed!

Y’all, The Farmhouse. This venue is seriously a dream. It is so incredibly beautiful that even without decor this place left us speechless. We knew the second we pulled up that this venue was where we would say I do! Not only is it the most gorgeous place, the farmhouse employees were literally angels on earth for us. We literally could not have picked a more perfect venue during the whole COVID fiasco. They updated us every chance they got, they cried with us, inspired us to keep our heads held high and told us that regardless they would help make our wedding day the most perfect day and they did. They even offered complimentary decor to help take some stress off our plate. The entire time leading up to the wedding and the day of, the employees were absolutely amazing. Thankful to them because our day wouldn’t have been perfect without them. We used a simply decorated trellis and with the design of the chapel-that was enough.The bride's and groom's rooms had everything that was needed to be comfortable and prepare for the Big Day. he venue has so many beautiful amenities that not much decoration is needed unless that is what you like.Bev and Mark were there to make sure we had everything we needed and came through when we didn't. It was a lovely and memorable place to begin our new life together.

I could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! It was 100% my style and everything from booking to the day of the wedding went seamlessly. The Farmhouse was my 3rd venue of my first day out looking and we booked it before we even left. It was the perfect mix of farmhouse and elegance, and the white throughout the venue made for a clean canvas that would make any colors pop. We went with burgundy, green, and gold and it looked so beautiful. Kristen gave us our tour and she was great! She was very detailed in giving us all the information we needed. Throughout the next year I mostly emailed with Carrie and she was incredibly helpful as well. Besides being helpful this was the sweetest most genuine group of people ever! They were all so accommodating and catering, and really made the whole process so easy and enjoyable! You will not be disappointed if you decide to book with them!

Just celebrated our daughter's wedding at The Farmhouse and the venue is absolutely stunning! The Bride's Suite is lovely, with a salon area for wedding preparation, gorgeous 3-way mirror and a comfortable sitting area. The Groom's Suite is perfectly masculine, with 3 TVs and ample area to get ready. The Chapel is very closely located behind the Reception hall and both are simply beautiful! The Chapel features tall windows at the front overlooking a lake. There's a loft from which photographers/videographers have a great vantage point. The Reception hall is tastefully elegant, with high ceilings and windows and a lovely foyer. The outdoor area had gorgeous, soft lighting in the evening and featured giant Jenga and Cornhole for guest entertainment. Parking is not an issue at all - plenty of spaces for the 175 guests we had. The Farmhouse staff we worked with were very helpful and communicated regularly with us, providing insightful tips as we got closer to the wedding date. If you're checking out venues for your wedding, I highly recommend The Farmhouse!

Our wedding at the Farmhouse was stunning. The accommodations including a bridal suite, a grooms suite, a chapel, a reception hall, and an outdoor cocktail and games area were all impeccable. Only downsides to the venue were having to purchase alcohol through the venue (pretty pricy compared to buying it yourself) and the hotels being at least 20 minutes (most hotels are closer to 40 minutes) from the venue. Overall though, wonderful experience!

Couldn’t have dreamed of a better venue. My husband and I toured The Farmhouse the first week of our engagement and knew this was the place for us. We didn’t look anywhere else and booked right away. The venue is one of a kind to our area and truly unique. You won’t find a dreamy white shiplap venue with the views of The Farmhouse anywhere near! Every time we came to see the venue from our tour, rehearsal dinner, wedding and just to check it out (which we did a few times) the owners and staff were so welcoming and accommodating. At our wedding all of our guests were so blown away by the venue itself and how beautiful it was without having to fill it up with a bunch of wedding decor. Everyone also loved being able to see the horses and cattle in the pastures around the venue, it enhanced the scenery even more. I could go on and on about how truly amazing this venue is. There is not one complaint my husband, myself, or any of our family and friends have heard or felt about The Farmhouse. It truly is a top notch venue and we were so blessed to spend our wedding day here!

The venue and staff are amazing. They worked with my husband and I to get the perfect date, kept up with us throughout the planning and were so helpful the day of! We still receive compliments about how gorgeous the venue was!

The venue is flawless and went above and beyond my expectations, and Kristen and Shae are a dream to work with. For the year and a half I worked with them, they always had an answer to my questions and good suggestions to make my day everything I wanted it to be. They responded right away to emails and are friendly and kind. I felt like I was family! Thank yall!

We are extremely happy that we picked the Farmhouse to get married at. Fell in love with it the first time we went to visit it. The owners and staff are very responsive to emails. The chapel was perfect for having the ceremony separate from the reception. The reception area was perfect and we were able to lay out the floor plan the way we wanted. Everything about our wedding day was perfect and the Farmhouse played the biggest part in making it perfect!

We booked The Farmhouse when it was still wooden beams. I knew after seeing them at the Bridal Extravaganza in July 2016 that I knew it was my venue! It was so fun to be a part of the first year of weddings - we even got to go to a special party when it was finished. Kristen and Shae (and Carrie) are very responsive to whatever questions you have! The venue is truly breathtaking, both inside and outside. My guests were raving about the sunset during cocktail, looking at the lake. We were thrilled when they built the chapel. I love the idea of an outdoor ceremony, but the weather is too unpredictable for my liking, so it was the perfect compromise for us! The bridal and grooms suites are wonderful. The girls and I got a mimosa package, which came with champagne, OJ and a beautiful fruit spread. The guys had beer buckets in their room, and loved playing cornhole and Jenga outside while they were getting ready. The porch with the outdoor bar and games were perfect for cocktail hour. I love that the buffet and bar areas do not stick out into the main reception area. Everything in the venue is well thought out and is beautiful. Thank you for everything!

This venue is seriously, seriously perfect. From the beginning, the Minters were extremely helpful and were there to answer every question I had. I'm a pick person and was, naturally, a picky bride, but The Farmhouse exceeded my expectations. The venue is visually stunning, perfectly thought out, spacious, and provides excellent service. Our guests were extremely complementary of the venue - it's probably the aspect of our wedding that we get the most compliments about. The bar was great - Shae and Austin were able to work with us so that we could serve our guests draft beer that we love, and everyone had nice things to say about the staff. The outdoor area is perfect, especially if you have a lot of friends or family who aren't dances. Our guests had a great time hanging out on the porch and lawn. The cornhole is a fabulous touch. The porch has fans, so it makes it pleasant to be outside on a hot Texas night. The chapel is jaw-droppingly beautiful. With just a few floral decorations, you have a dreamy ceremony space with tons of natural light. If you're thinking about this place, just do it. You will not regret it.

I attended a wedding here in June 2017 and WOW was I impressed! I work at a wedding venue, so I know about all the behind-the-scene things that go on during the event. The staff were incredible, the venue is breathtaking, and the night could not have gone better. Not only are the facilities top notch, but the bridal suite/groom suite, courtyard amenities, wooden cocktail tables, lobby, and bar area are added bonuses that I feel are hard to come by! If I didn't already have a wedding, I would definitely consider the Farmhouse!

When we first toured the venue it hadn't even been built yet but I'm so glad we decided to go with this venue! We've toured a lot of other venues and they do not compare to this one. They offer you so much more than other venues in Texas! Everyone at our wedding couldn't stop telling us how beautiful the venue was. The entire staff is also amazing! We booked at The Farmhouse and our wedding is in December. Kristen and Shae have been incredible to work with so far, and I have no doubt they'll continue to be. The pictures don't do the venue justice. The chapel is out of a fairytale. Highly, highly recommend this place!!

Thus far, my experience with The Farmhouse has been amazing. They answer questions in a timely manner and allow you to visit the site as you wish. I have already been out twice. They gave me a great list of vendors. The location is kind of in the middle of no where (which I like). There are horses housed right next door, so that provides a great backdrop. The grounds are still being worked on, but what will stay the same is beautiful. They update their Facebook page quite often, and they even have a bridal Facebook page that is updated with building status, vendors, and many things that are helpful. I cannot wait for our wedding in March. I know it is going to be amazing!
