WE LOVED THE FLYING V RANCH! Our wedding here a little less than a month ago was nothing short of perfect. Paige and her mother are so sweet, caring, and welcoming! We felt special from the very first time we met them right up until our wedding day! They are so aware of details and did a wonderful job of helping us keep everything organized. I was sold on this place just from the white church pews at the outdoor ceremony area, but that is just one of many details that make the Flying V perfectly simple and elegant - exactly what I was looking for. The bridal cottage was a perfect place for my girls & I to spend the day getting ready. The reception area is beautiful all on its own and requires very little additional decorations. We could not have found a more perfect place to start our lives together. Thank you, Flying V!

Flying V Ranch gave us a âdown home feelâ as soon as we met with Claire and Page back in the spring. Itâs what made us decide to choose their venue! They have a house collection that you can transform the space into whatever vision you have. It might be an old ranch but it doesnât just accommodate those who want a ârusticâ wedding. Our wedding was romantic and wintry - everything we wanted for a December 30th day! Jessica ran our wedding day and I could not be more thankful for her! She made it smooth and effortless with my team of decorators and was the glue for everything. We used the pavilion for our ceremony and added drapes to the outside for a tent like feel that worked beautifully! The staff are involved and communicate well throughout the entire process. Thank you Flying V Ranch for best day!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better venue! We fell in love with the Flying V Ranch from the moment we stepped onto the property for a tour. It was just the cute, rustic, antique, and chic style we were looking for, and more importantly, the staff at the Flying V Ranch were so thoughtful and helpful. Paige, the owner, was very involved and helpful throughout the entire process of planning until the day-of. You could tell that their goal was to make planning seamless, easy, and fun because that is how our planning experience went! Claire Adams was an absolute ROCKSTAR and angel throughout the planning process and the day-of. She met with my husband, mom, and I over zoom (we are all living in different states currently) during times that worked for us. She helped us a TON with the floor plan, timeline, and decor. The venue also helped us choose the most PERFECT vendors for our wedding which helped made our wedding so magical. The Flying V recommended Righteous BBQ, Arbutus Entertainment, Coco Fleur, the Decatur PD for security, and Hey Ms Bartender. They were the most perfect vendors for our wedding. The day-of was so seamless and Claire was with us to make sure our vision came into fruition. She even made sure the cows and donkeys were near by like how we requested months ago! Terra was our main day-of coordinator and was an ANGEL. She guided us, the wedding party, guests, and the vendors to make our wedding day an absolute dream. Not only was Terra an amazing emotional support, she kept everyone on task and on the same Paige throughout the entire day. We all loved Terraâs presence and organized guidance throughout the entire wedding day. Starting from the rehearsal until we were running through the tunnel of sparklers into our limo! The layout of the Flying V is cute as a button AND functional. My bridesmaids, my mothers, and my sisters LOVED the bridal cottage to get ready and hang out in, and the groomsmen had a great time hanging out in the groomsmen lounge. The guests has so many great choices to hang out around between the beer garden, the covered patio, and the indoor reception area. The dance floor was the perfect size- big enough for line dancing, free fun dancing, and romantic slow dancing! The Flying V Ranch was an absolute dream come true for my husband and I, and we wouldnât change a single thing about our special day thanks to the Flying V Ranch. We 1000% recommend the Flying V Ranch to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free, and beautiful venue for their special day.

The venue is was so amazing! Everyone was so friendly in the process and we had the most amazing time. I loved the included decor as it helped us budget and was still trendy! I think the outdoor space though is my favorite. Itâs so beautiful and the activities were a plus!!

Everything was so special - from the history of Flying V to best hospitality, it made our day extremely special and unforgettable. This place is gorgeous!! The staff is so accommodating and there is so much included in your packet. They had table clothes, center pieces and more all including which makes a huge difference in price! The staff communicated so well leading up the wedding and day of. The bride cottage was perfect for a large bridal party (8+2 moms and all photography, videography and hair and makeup) but still felt like we were all close and could spend the day together. The grooms sweet was decorated great for photos and had all the must haves (fridge, TV, game table, etc.)! They outside site is perfect with the new pavilion addition and makes the photos stunning. They made my dream come true and it was perfect! I couldn't recommend them enough!!

We had a cold front come through that wasnât projected until 48 hours before our wedding and the speed and efficiency they had to try to accommodate for the weather was phenomenal. I never felt stressed with their help and the venue itself was absolutely stunning. Their decor was stunning. 10/10

The stars are for the venue itself. Beautiful and the views are amazing, the only issue my husband & I had was the constant fees that get added on after booking. or the fact when we scheduled are wedding date we got told we would have day before access but when time came around we got denied because it was black Friday... We moved our wedding under the carport and future brides just move it inside, my dress was completely soaked from rain water and it was under the carport area but failed to mention that there are no drainage pipes and it will get soaked wet.

I cannot say enough great things about this venue! I fell in love with it from the very moment I stepped foot onto the property. It was beautiful and versatile. Our package came with the house collection decor which made decorating a piece of cake and the staff was amazing from the initial tour to the day of the wedding. We received soooo many compliments on our venue choice from our guests. I cannot recommend Flying V Ranch enough!

If I had to do this again I would choose the Flying V Ranch all over again. They communicated through out the planning and process and helped me think of things that I would not have even known about. Their all inclusive house decorations made it perfect for the look I was going for with out the hassle of trying to find all them by myself. Every question I had was answered quickly through email and the day of I felt very relaxed about our timeline that we made and setting up the venue. They also took over when I felt overwhelmed or unsure and even handled an unnecessary situation brought on by one of the people in our wedding party. They reassured us that everything was fine and to just keep enjoying our day. The service by the owner and the coordinator's was unparalleled. I can't thank them enough for all the help and being able to provide such an amazing, beautiful venue. Oh and not only was the venue amazing but the options to keep all different type of guests was also a major plus. The cocktail garden outside was a crowd favorite as was the fire pit for those that don't like being forced to sit inside with loud music. I could go on and on about this place and the service provided. I just feel like choosing the venue can make or break your wedding day and I am beyond pleased with my choice!

We absolutely loved the Flying V Ranch! We had attended a wedding here years ago where it was pouring down rain in November and the wedding was still my absolute favorite until my own! It also rained during our venue visit. Knowing their rainy day plan was still gorgeous, we picked the venue having never seen it with nice weather and sure enough, we had the most beautiful weather under a full moon on our wedding day. This venue has a lovely vintage charm and a rustic aesthetic that is also elegant. We got the most amazing photos!!! It's a great blank canvas and the staff are wonderful to work with. We hung stars from the ceiling and went with a celestial theme, which the venue fully supported. The online portal system makes it easy to select items to rent directly from the venue and complete payments. The FVR staff were so accommodating of our desired pandemic precautions (masks, outdoor spaces, doors open, bridal luncheon tables) and worked out every little detail with us to help our guests feel safe. The staff worked diligently to make sure everything was ready on our big day and that our day-of timeline was thorough and complete, but also prioritized that the bride and groom be happy and take time for themselves.They are excellent value for money because you can save on renting from a rental company if you want and avoid buying decor items you only use once. They make it so easy we saved on not needing a wedding planner. The bridal suite is adorable. We set out tables outside of the bridal cottage so our wedding party could enjoy open air gathering, instead of being in close quarters (due to the pandemic). If we had picked any other venue, we likely would have had to postpone our wedding for the pandemic. Thankfully they were able to accommodate our safety measures and they had so many outdoor spaces to work with, our guests largely chose to spend the evening playing lawn games, chatting on couches under the pavilion, enjoying the fire pit, or sitting at the tables by the fountain in the cocktail garden. Highly recommend.

The Flying V Ranch is a perfect venue! All the staff is amazing and will help you with anything you need! This was the only venue we looked at because we new this was the one!! If youâre looking for an inside /outside wedding with lots of space to spread out this is the one! Page was excellent with planning our wedding! Due to COVID we had to push our date back but the process was so easy! Terra was our wedding day coordinator and was absolutely amazing! I cannot thank the whole Flying V staff enough for how perfect they made our day!

I donât have enough good things to say about Flying V Ranch and the wonderful staff. It was the first venue we visited and we immediately knew we had found our place! The ranch is not only beautiful, but Sherry and Page (the owners) are such a joy to work with. From our first visit to our wedding day, they were nothing short of amazing and did everything necessary to ensure we had the best day. Terra was our day of coordinator and made the entire day run smoothly. They are a family company and pour their heart into the venue and their clients, and it shows! All our guests are still raving about the beautiful venue. We are forever grateful to Flying V for the perfect wedding day, and if we had to do it again weâd pick Flying V a thousand times over!

I would highly recommend getting married at Flying V. Page was my main point of contact, and she was wonderful to work with from the moment my husband and I walked in to tour the venue. She is professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and you can tell she cares deeply about her business. I felt she went above and beyond by helping me find our photographer (whom we also loved), and by helping me recover my \"something old\" (a tiny broach that belonged to my great-grandmother) that I lost on the wedding day. Also, on the wedding day, she was out at the venue herself, tidying and making sure everything was good to go. To me, that speaks volumes about her character, both as a person and as a business owner. I think working with people who really care makes all the difference. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because at the rehearsal (and a little bit on the day of the wedding) I felt like I had to repeat lots of things that were discussed at the 30 day meeting. Flying V is a gorgeous place to get married, and the staff is excellent. You will not be sorry if you choose it.

They allowed outside catering, bartender and were there every step of the way to help us make our event perfect. The Flying V Ranch was EXACTLY what we were looking for when booking our vow renewal. We couldn't have picked a better venue!

Our son and daughter-in-law had the perfect start to their marriage by having Page plan and carry out an amazing wedding and reception. There are so many rustic wedding venues popping up but the Flying V is authentic while being elegant and beautiful. We couldn't recommend them any more!!

Only reason for less stars is that they did try to charge us more at the end of the night for no reason and they should've sent out a list of what items were available for rent at the BEGINNING of the planning process rather than the week of the wedding. We bought so many things, not knowing they were available to rent there for cheaper.

This was the best day of mine and my husband's life, & it's mostly due to Flying V Ranch! Sherry & Page Warner are an absolute dream to work with! From the get go, there was never a question they didn't confidently know the answer to. I was a little anxious going into everything, but because of there certainty & knowledge, they put me at ease immediately. When we met with Sherry for our month out meeting, she and my now husband could have talked for hours. The Warner's are just those kind of people who actually CARE! Everything went off without a hitch the day of. Page was so kind - she brought donut holes & a sweet note to the ladies in the bridal sweet. We even did a rehearsal in Fort Worth, and Page made sure she was there to walk everyone through their duties and placement, which was a huge help! If you're into classic elegant southern charm, this is the place for you! We got married underneath a huge (I want to say oak) tree on Dec. 2nd, and the weather was 78 degrees that day. We did mixmatched china with Babe's chicken and had a smore bar outside. They made sure to have someone tending to the fire 24/7, which was a bonus. They had cornhole set up, so guests could mingle outside. My husband and I were so busy catching up with guests, that we didn't eat much. When we got back to our hotel we were getting everything out of our vehicle and we found 3 boxes filled with food (babe's chicken, our wedding cake, and some of the other sweets we had). Page wrote the sweetest note on one of the boxes about my husband and I, which added a kind and personal touch. I cannot say enough positive things about Flying V Ranch. If you live within an hour of Decatur, I highly suggest looking into this little gem of a venue. You will not be disappointed that you did. Thanks again, Page & Sherry! We were the Groom's parents, and initially reluctant to have a wedding outside, due to weather factor. Our son and his bride chose the Flying V, because they \"were not like a wedding factory\". My son said the staff was much more personal, and genuine. They did not have stringent rules on the catering and beverage category. The price was more affordable than in the Fort Worth metroplex. The Flying V setting and decor is very popular among the young people (age 25-30). Things I remember about that night were, the East side of the venue, where guests gathered (after ceremony, before reception) was shaded at 6:15 ish, and very nice for our crowd to enjoy a cold beverage, and snacks outside, as they waited for pictures to finish, and to entrance to reception hall to open. People really seemed to enjoy the relaxed setting out there, even though everyone was dressed up. Before the nuptials, I saw the Groom's man cave, and it was very masculine, air conditioned to the max, and nice enough for the guys to sit down and just chill out until game time. The restrooms were also just fine for our crowd of 175 guests. They were clean, well-stocked, and cool as well. Our son's wedding was May 7, 2017. With all of the decorations, the reception area was just lovely. I was worried about the lower part of the barn (too short for tall people?). It dips down just a step; but, it wasn't too short, very roomy, and from what I remember. It accommodated our guests amply. There were lots of tables, but still plenty of room to walk around, not feel cramped. A nice sitting area was on the lower part, and it was just so convenient for us to stand, and greet a few guests who were just arriving, and didn't want to stand out in the sun. They had a couple of couches there, and you could put your lipstick on, check your phone and look out the window, have a nice hug and short visit before the celebration began. The upper area of reception hall was also very nice, and roomy enough for a dance floor with tables surrounding it. The food was outside, which I think helped make it much roomier, and didn't heat up the Reception Hall. There is a Shabby Chic atmosphere to this venue, and it just made it darling with all of the decorations, and lighting, etc. Our bride was on a budget, but it looked so precious, and fancy! Celia, the \"Day of Coordinator\" was very very nice and nurturing. As the Groom's parents, she came and introduced herself, gave us the cue for certain traditional parts of the reception. She was soft spoken, unassuming and just almost like a mom to me. (My mom wasn't able to attend due to her illness). I needed Celia that night!Overall, I think it was a complete success. I forgot to mention, that the ceremony outside was very sweet, and the church pews and stage worked out well also. I wish the very best to the Flying V!

We were the Groom's parents, and initially reluctant to have a wedding outside, due to weather factor. Our son and his bride chose the Flying V, because they \"were not like a wedding factory\". My son said the staff was much more personal, and genuine. They did not have stringent rules on the catering and beverage category. The price was more affordable than in the Fort Worth metroplex. The Flying V setting and decor is very popular among the young people (age 25-30). Things I remember about that night were, the East side of the venue, where guests gathered (after ceremony, before reception) was shaded at 6:15 ish, and very nice for our crowd to enjoy a cold beverage, and snacks outside, as they waited for pictures to finish, and to entrance to reception hall to open. People really seemed to enjoy the relaxed setting out there, even though everyone was dressed up. Before the nuptials, I saw the Groom's man cave, and it was very masculine, air conditioned to the max, and nice enough for the guys to sit down and just chill out until game time. The restrooms were also just fine for our crowd of 175 guests. They were clean, well-stocked, and cool as well. Our son's wedding was May 7, 2017. With all of the decorations, the reception area was just lovely. I was worried about the lower part of the barn (too short for tall people?). It dips down just a step; but, it wasn't too short, very roomy, and from what I remember. It accommodated our guests amply. My wedding could NOT have been more beautiful thanks to Celia, Page, Sherry and the whole Flying V team. The ranch was the perfect setting for my vintage bohemian wedding- white walls, white washed wood floor, vintage pews and the 100 year old bride cottage plus the many antique pieces available for use. My (now) husband and I were immediately welcomed by Sherry when we first visited the venue and loved hearing her heartwarming story and vision for this family ranch transformed into a one of a kind venue. It had so much character! We loved that It DIDN'T have this wedding factory feel where the goal is just to pump out weddings like other venues we visited. I can't even put into words how wonderful the staff was answering all my questions and reassuring me. I know I emailed Page at LEAST 100 times over the course of planning my wedding. Sherry even ordered extra glasses to accommodate my many beverage choices and guest count. AND the very detailed person that I am was so blessed by the 30 day meeting where we went over EVERYTHING for my day to make sure we were all on the same page. Celia is the sweetest and made me feel like an absolute queen on my wedding day. We did have some issues with the sound during the ceremony but nothing a longer rehearsal wouldn't fix. At the end of the day we felt like we have become part of the Flying V family. This place, these people, I will always hold dear and the best day of my life I will never forget.

If you are looking for a beautiful setting, with charming details and a reliable staff, this is the place for you. Here are a few specific reasons I'm glad I chose this venue: 1. I really wanted an outdoor ceremony, but was worried about rain since my wedding was in April. Flying V Ranch has an incredible outdoor ceremony space and two back-up options in case of rain including a covered pavilion or an option to flip the indoor reception space. 2. I didn't hire a wedding planner. The owners of Flying V Ranch are incredibly helpful and provide you with a checklist to go over all of the details you definitely didn't think about. They also provide a day of coordinator who you meet with 30 days prior to your wedding date to iron everything out. 3. The space has a ton of vintage details and charm along with a gorgeous chandelier and string lighting. You hardly need any decor because the space is so beautiful on it's own. When it comes to decor though, they have many options you can rent and the table cloths and napkins come in so many color options and are included as part of their package. 4. The outdoor space (covered pavilion and beer garden) around the indoor reception area is perfect for guests to visit and roam around in. It keeps people from feeling trapped at their tables all night. 5. They've recently made updates to the already awesome venue including new beautiful flooring and chairs along with a gorgeous arch and white pews at the ceremony site. I can't say enough great things about this place. My guests and vendors commented all night on how perfect it was and how nice and helpful the owners and staff were. Huge thanks to owners Sherry and Page and my day of coordinator, Karen!

When my fiancĂ© (now husband) and I first visited the Flying V Ranch earlier this year, we knew without a shadow of a doubt that this was where we wanted to have our wedding. We envisioned a wedding that had a rustic, vintage, southern charm kind of feel, and this venue was PERFECT for that! We immediately felt right at home on the ranch, and we knew that our guests would feel the same way. Every step of the way during the planning process, Sherry and Page went out of their way to ensure that our wedding day turned out to be everything we were hoping for. At the beginning of the planning process, I had some trouble pinning down the wedding date, but Sherry was so incredibly kind and patient with me, and worked with me until we were able to settle on just the right date. The actual wedding day turned out to be even BETTER than what we had been dreaming of and hoping for. Sherry and Page worked seamlessly with my wedding planner to make sure every single detail was perfect. The Warner family will forever hold a very special place in my heart for all the kindness theyâve shown to me, and for making my wedding day such a lovely piece of heaven on earth. I would highly recommend the Flying V ! The staff is very attentive and truly cared about making the day special and unique for us! Unlike many of the venues that we checked out, the Flying V staff does so much more in the set up and taking down. They did a great job of keeping the ceremony and reception on schedule. Many of our guests told us it was the best Wedding they had ever attended! They loved the beautiful location and said that atmosphere was more conducive to relaxing and mingling with other guests.

The Flying V is amazing! This Mom and Daughter duo will do anything to make your wedding day the most amazing day ever! The Flying V team allowed us to come and visit several times, and ever come into decorate a little early. The Ranch itself is a magical outdoor/indoor venue and you will really get the bang for your buck! My bridesmaids and I absolutely loved the cosy bridal cottage! As I had toured a few venues prior to this gem I realized that the owners of The Flying V were more than just there for business. They honestly wanted to see two people unite in a precious day that they will remember forever. The Flying V Ranch is the perfect southern venue for any couple!

Sherry and Page Warner are extraordinary at what they do. We had to rush our wedding due to unforeseen circumstances - they were more than accommodating and the most helpful during our super fast 30 day planning time. Their staff is personable, so organized, and extremely thorough. The Flying V is a BEAUTIFUL venue on it's own, but with the decor touches and rental packages, you will be so happy and well taken care of on your special day. The space is meticulously thought out and neutrally designed so that you can create any look you love. Sherry & Page truly GET what the stress is like as a bride, and they do everything in their power to minimize your anxieties. From corn hole games, outdoor beer garden, the fire pit with our vintage family quilts, and plenty of room for the kids to run and play... there was a perfect hang out space for all types of our guests. I highly recommend the Flying V and if I could redo our special day all over again, we would choose to do it the exact same. :)

Not only is the venue immaculately decorated, but the staff bent over backwards to make sure that my husband and I received everything we wanted. The owner, Sherry Warner, kept my mom in the loop at all times and the coordinators, Celia and Karen, made sure the wedding went off without a hitch. I feel so honored to have had my wedding there. It was just perfect.

I cannot say enough good things about The Flying V Ranch, Sherry (the owner), and the whole Flying V Ranch team. My (now) husband and I couldn't of dreamt up a more beautiful place to get married if we tried. The team was so helpful with planning all the details to make our day special. If we had questions, Sherry or a team member was readily available. Mrs. Middleton, the month of coordinator, was absolutely wonderful. She kept us on schedule and made our day run smoothly. They were also very helpful with recommending outsides vendors near Decatur. This was extremely beneficial since we are not from the area. We have almost been married for a month and we are still receiving compliments on just how gorgeous and perfect our wedding was.. Just today, a friend that did not attend our wedding, asked me the name of our venue. She wanted to give it to her niece that is getting married just from looking at some of our gorgeous pictures with the amazing Flying V sunset. I would recommend this venue and team to anyone and everyone. Thank you for making our wedding the best day of our lives!

I couldn't write enough words that would adequately express how great of a decision it was to choose Flying V Ranch to be our wedding venue. My fiancé and I were between a couple of barn venues and after reading the great reviews on Flying V and talking to Karen on our venue tour we were convinced. The property is so beautiful in itself and Sherry and her team have done an amazing job and buying the cutest things to fill the venue which they allow you to use. As the wedding planning process continued we were so pleased with everyone there. Sherry and Karen and basically any worker you need to talk to will bend over backwards to help you. We decided to change our ceremony site less than a week before our wedding (due to crazy Texas summer heat) and they made the process seamless and so less stressful. Our wedding day was made even more great by the staff of coordinators they have there including Celia who made sure we followed our schedule and helped in any area we needed. Our wedding was a blast thanks to those wonderful people and the venue which provided so many outdoor/indoor options for guests to choose where to hang out.

The Team at Flying V Ranch was outstanding for our wedding!!! They went above and beyond for our family to assure we were comfortable and that we would have the best wedding & reception possible. Every tiny detail we wanted was taken care of before we arrived so our wedding went as planned without any problems!!! Sherry, the owner, was so accommodating with all of the requests that my daughter wanted to make so that the wedding was perfect for her. The staff is so friendly and helpful and they literally took care of every need and want that we had. As the Mother of the Bride the coordinator they supplied was perfect and very detail oriented so I could just enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about a thing. The venue is beautiful and has everything we wanted for our vintage wedding to take place. The antique touches were amazing like the china, silver, lanterns, arches, doors, church benches and so much more. As a mother, you want to make your daughter's dream wedding happen and the \"Flying V Ranch\" did that for me because all my daughter can say to us now is \"It was perfect Mom\". My heart is happy :)

Meet the The Flying V Ranch Team
Page Warner (Manager) Page is the daughter of the mother + daughter duo of The Flying V Ranch. An interior designer by trade, Page designed the barn at it's conception and now handles all creative and logistic aspects of the family business. Page calls Fort Worth home, with her labradoodle, Henry, and can be found renovating her 1950s cottage when not working on the ranch. Page loves helping couples with all aspects of their wedding from vendor selection to the floor plan and design of their event!
