The Foothills Golf Club is a wedding venue in Phoenix, AZ, situated in a stunning desert landscape surrounded by mountain ridges. Offering awe-inspiring views of the Estrella Mountains, this venue makes the perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding celebration. The Foothills Golf Club offers a number of event spaces for your ceremony and reception. First, prepare for the day in the fully-equipped get-ready suite, complete with plenty of mirrors and a dress closet. Another room is available for relaxing with family and friends, featuring a pool table, a TV, a bar, and a card table. Then, exchange vows in a romantic ceremony on the west lawn, the venue's dedicated ceremony site. A breathtaking sunset can be your backdrop as you say "I do." You can then enjoy a magical reception in the venue's Main Ballroom, which offers over 2,600 square feet of event space. This elegant room boasts beautiful chandeliers and can accommodate up to 175 guests in total. The dedicated team at The Foothills Golf Club will be on-hand to help you plan your special day to perfection. They'll provide you with a list of recommended vendors, but you're welcome to choose your own vendors, too. The venue can provide event essentials such as tables, chairs, flatware, glassware, and linens, along with various decor items to enhance the space even further. Their in-house catering service can create a delicious reception meal for you and your guests, and bar services are also available. If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue, look no further. Foothills Golf Club has it all - an incredibly gorgeous venue, amazing packages, wonderful staff, great food, flexibility, amazing bridal/groom suite and a ROOM of décor you are free to use any of! Ashleigh was great to work with as well - on top of everything ensuring the day went smoothly! We had our wedding here just a few weeks ago and cannot describe how absolutely perfect it was. We talk about it every day and go on and on about how we cannot believe we found this place and how we don't know why every single person getting married in the state of Arizona is not getting married there. Our wedding was the absolute best day of our lives and we owe such a success of a day to Foothills!

Foothills Golf Club has it all - an incredibly gorgeous venue, amazing packages, wonderful staff, great food, flexibility, amazing bridal/groom suite and a ROOM of décor you are free to use any of! Ashleigh was great to work with as well - on top of everything ensuring the day went smoothly! We had our wedding here just a few weeks ago and cannot describe how absolutely perfect it was. We talk about it every day and go on and on about how we cannot believe we found this place and how we don't know why every single person getting married in the state of Arizona is not getting married there. Our wedding was the absolute best day of our lives and we owe such a success of a day to Foothills!

We had our wedding at The Foothills Golf Club in November of 2021, I would relive it over and over if I could, to say it was perfect is an understatement. Ashleigh and all of the staff at the venue are so pleasant to work with. They have beautiful views that won't break the bank, they also support our military by offering a discount for service members. They are VERY flexible and wiling to accommodate whatever you envision for you special day. The staff is so fun, one of the wait staff even danced with us during the reception and we loved how personal our whole event was. They truly give you their full attention and Ashleigh is sure to have everything running smoothly the day of. I cannot recommend The Foothills Golf Club enough for your wedding. If you read through this, your search is over I promise you've found the best venue!!

Loved this venue!!! At first they had a little turnover in their employees so we lost our original wedding planner. However, they hired Kaitlin and she was even better than the first woman! She was always there anytime we needed her, gave us her personal phone number to answer any questions we may of had. We had our rehearsal dinner there the night before our wedding and the food was great! Kaitlin quickly walked us through our ceremony with bridal party and food as requested was ready immediately after the walk through because we didn’t want to be out late the night before. It was just what we asked for. The day of was spot on, Kaitlin did everything we asked for and more on the day of. She made sure everything was perfect. I did a lot of the decorations homemade but she managed to make them look really pretty with the in house decorations they had as well. Talk about a pay it forward room! They have a whole room full of decorations from previous weddings that they let you use to help with wedding costs, it’s amazing and really helpful!! In the end they went above and beyond for us and we are forever grateful because our wedding day was just as we had hoped! It was perfect and simple and just what we wanted. We had so many compliments that our wedding was the sweetest and most romantic wedding they had been to in a long time, which was beautiful to hear. Everyone loved our food the night of our wedding as well. Their chef even made a recipe that we brought in for truffle mashed potatoes! Which were delicious by the way!! Overall, if you don’t want to stress out over your wedding and really have a seamless experience, you won’t be sorry you chose Foothills, they are really amazing at what they do!

We had been coming to the Foothills golf course for years for their brunch and dinners & always said we would get married there- so when the time came, we didn't even look anywhere else. Kaitlin, the wedding planner/coordinator, (who took over for someone else halfway through our engagement) was absolutely amazing. She was receptive, competent, and accommodating. Seriously, I can't say enough good things about her. She made me worry free in the days leading up to our wedding. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the bar service. We were very adamant throughout the planning process that we were paying full bar tab. Heck, we didn't even want a tip jar out and we paid the gratuity ahead of time. Most of our guests traveled from out of state so we did not want them paying for anything. 1- the bar was serving drinks before our ceremony even started.. I personally have never been to a wedding where people had two drinks in their hand during our ceremony- I feel as if they should have asked us this before doing it. 2- When our $1500 pre paid bar tab (whatever we went over was supposed to go directly on our credit card) was up, which was halfway through dinner- probably because they were serving drinks before our ceremony even started, they started telling all of our guests it was a cash bar. What?! Was just a little annoying when we were adamant that we were covering all of the costs. It was sorted out quickly. Again, my only issue was with the bar. Other than that, an amazing experience that I will never forget. Not to mention, our pictures turned out amazing! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.

Having my wedding at The Foothills Golf Club was one of the best decisions I ever made! Laurie worked diligently to ensure the planning on her end went smoothly and headache-free... I wish she could have planned everything for me! From the moment we met Laurie and staff, we knew that they genuinely cared about our wedding and making sure it was the best day ever. Laurie was so accomodating of our needs and demands and went above and beyond to meet with us despite our hectic work schedules. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for our small ceremony and reception (although it can also accomodate large weddings too). The food was soooo delicious and Laurie was very receptive to our menu idea, and helping us to plan all of the details involved with it. Every one was so friendly and helpful on the day of and went out of their way to help calm my nerves with all of the details and decor. I was a little disappointed to find out on the day of that I could not have wedding party pictures taken on the golf course as I had thought the entire time that this was okay, but in the end, it wasn't enough to tarnish my opinion of such a wonderul venue and staff. You can't beat the service Laurie and her staff will provide and the price for their menu options. Don't be afraid to think outside of their pre-planned menu options because Laurie will work to get you what you want at a great rate!

I have never worked with a vendor who said \"yes!\" or \"lets do it!\" so often as Laurie and Kelly at the Foothills. This venue has an amazing flow - ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. While on a golf course, it doesn't feel like a golf course. \rMy husband and I had some very specific wants and required a great deal of work to make our day wonderful. Laurie never flinched and always was supportive. Even with our crazy ideas and unique wedding, she ensured that everything went off without a hitch and was wonderful to work with. My day was perfect, thanks to the staff at The Foothills.

I cannot say enough about the Foothills Golf Club!! Instead I'll share a few comments made by guests following our 11/03/12 ceremony and reception there: \r\"The staff was so nice and accommodating!\" \r\"I loved the setting. The view was amazing!\" \r\"It was so nice that you had the whole place to yourself.\" \r\"The food didn't taste at all like wedding food. It was fantastic.\" \r\"It was really cool how you had access to outside from both sides of the venue.\" \r\"It was so nice that you could have a wedding with such an intimate feel with 140 people.\" \rMy wife and I would like to give special thanks to Laurie and Kelli. Laurie's ability to balance her warm, kind personality with her sense of professionalism helped us to know that our wedding was in good hands. She replied to every email within 24-48 hours! She also steered us in the direction of other wonderful vendors (photographer, florist, etc) that helped make the day complete. Kelli is the perfect compliment to Laurie and went above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome, including those with odd dietary restrictions. Thank you so, so much!

The Foothills Golf Club is a beautiful place for a wedding and reception. There a lots of places to take pictures with amazing backgrounds. The staff at the Foothills is amazing. Laurie was such a big help to me and she made sure everything on my special day was perfect. I am so happy with the way things turned out. We had such a blast and everything was absolutely beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about Foothills.\r\r1) Laurie is amazing. Patient, kind, thoughtful, detail oriented, and made my day stress free. Absolutely fantastic. She was so kind, even knowing when I showed up at the rehearsal that I hadn't eaten that day and got me a snack. She's incredible.\r\r2) The views are amazing. We have gorgeous shots from the ceremony outside, portraits throughout the golf course, and amazing sunset photos from the green.\r\r3) The inside is beautiful as well. My girls and I loved the bridal suite for prep; my husband and his guys loved the pool table in their suite; my friends with kids loved that we hired a babysitter to entertain kids in the theater where they'd be safe and out of their parents' hair. Seriously, there's a theater!\r\r4) Laurie, Kelly (the catering director), and Joe helped us plan every step of the way. They were understanding and offered fantastic suggestions as we planned a menu for complicated wants, needs, cultures, and dietary needs. They helped us work through tons of details so the wedding day would go smoothly.\r\rI couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. My wedding day was beautiful, stress-free, and absolutely perfect thanks to them.

This venue had the perfect combination of beautiful sights (mountains and valley), large and open location (both inside and outside), great prices, and an amazing staff! Laurie Stricklin, who we primarily worked with, was THE Best! She is extremely friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond in helping us to make our day perfect.\r\rFoothills includes so much in their price, making this perfect for our budget. The food, drinks, and staff were all great! We did not have to worry about random golfers being around, or having golf carts in sight, as they closed/re-directed everything away.\r\rWe looked at many different venues, and saw some that we loved but could not get them to call us back or if they did, the service was horrible. This was NOT the case with Foothills! We loved the way it looked (the ceremony was gorgeous, we were on the grass with views of all the mountains and the little stream going by), and Laurie and Joseph (Joe) Shanks helped to make this perfect!\r\rThe girls had a large room to get ready in with mirrors and everything else they needed, and the guys had their own room (rare among venues) that had a tv with football, a billiards table, and a card table.\r\rAll in all, highly recommended!
