The couple have over 20 years of experience working in the hospitality industry and would be delighted to be a part of your wedding day. Celebrate your love for each other with the team at the Franklin of Soulard. This historic venue was constructed in 1905, quickly becoming a staple of the Soulard neighborhood. The building and the area are timeless, creating the perfect atmosphere for unique weddings and celebrations. The Franklin of Soulard provides a range of amenities for couples and their guests, including on-site parking, a full-service bar, and a gorgeous greenery photo wall. The beautiful ballroom is full of natural lighting and features sparkling chandeliers, a framed stage, and 30-foot ceilings, perfect for delighting your guests and keeping the party going. If this place has your date available, book it! We had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here. From day 1, Christina and Daniel were amazing. I had lots of questions and they not only had all the answers but great recommendations as well. They are the sweetest people to work with and have very obviously been in this business for a long time. Also, their team that is there for you along the way we're such a big help. The venue itself is beautiful. It has the old historic charm with beautifully done modern updates, such as the chandeliers and bridal suite. I just cannot say enough good things about The Franklin. Our day was perfect and they made sure of it.

They are the sweetest people to work with and have very obviously been in this business for a long time. Also, their team that is there for you along the way we're such a big help. My (now) husband and I were simply wowed at the level of care and detail the Franklin Room has. Christina and Danny have a FANTASTIC crew and venue. I cannot thank them enough for their flexibility and value they provide. 1) the space is gorgeous. Even with a smaller wedding, the light flowing in, the table lay outs, ALL of it looked and felt fantastic on our wedding day. 2) Christina was so absolutely kind and understanding during the entire planning process, and was able to accommodate my family's odd requests.3) the value of food provided was absolutely phenomenal. Their inhouse catering staff did a fantastic job at catering and plating. I still cannot believe we had a plated dinner for that price. 4) their staff are so kind and helpful. It was good having a fun and professional team on our big day!I cannot recommend the Franklin enough!!!

First and foremost, the Franklin is a beautiful, timeless venue. The historic stage, hardwood floors, and classic chandeliers provide character, while still being neutral enough to complement any outside decor/florals. Most importantly, you will receive the best service at The Franklin bar none. Christina and Dan clearly care very much about their business and it shows. From planning the reception to execution, Christina and Dan were communicative, professional, and overall \"top notch.\" Also, THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD. Have your wedding/reception here. Weddings are an absolute money pit and The Franklin ( and by that I mean Christina and Dan) was worth every penny a million times over. Thank you both!!

Five stars doesnât give enough credit to how awesome Dan and Christina are. The venue itself is beautiful, classy and full of character, but what sets this apart is all the extra care, consideration and flexibility the Franklinâs team provides.They provided so much flexibility in allowing us to drop and set up decor early. This takes so much stress off the wedding day. They really work with you and donât have tons of stringent rules like other locations we looked at before choosing the Franklin.The food was amazing and bar package is top notch. The pricing structure is extremely reasonable and in house catering made coordination so easy. The bridal suite is đ€â€ïžDan and Christina, we are so grateful we ran into you while trying to find a band!!! đ. We couldnât have asked for a better day.

We had full access the day before and we had access to Christina whenever we had a question. The food was delicious and we received many compliments. Not all venues will host daytime weddings. The ceremony was at 11:00 am and brunch food was served. The food and bar choices for this timeframe were many and varied. I just canât say enough good things about The Franklin.

Literally so accommodating and willing to help in any way to bring our vision to life. It was the perfect day! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Danny and Christina poured so much love and hard work into creating the most beautiful venue in St. Louis. We got so many compliments on the venue itself but even more on the food- itâs seriously to die for and people are STILL talking about how amazing our dinner was. Emily and Cate were also so incredible about responding to all of my random questions and keeping the day running smoothly. I cannot recommend getting married at The Franklin enough. Choosing The Franklin of Soulard for our 9/2/23 ceremony and reception was the BEST decision we made for our wedding! Everything about the venue was absolutely perfect. Christina walked us through the entire process and consistently made us feel so taken care of. She answered all our questions (answering our emails so quickly!!) and acted as a coordinator during the rehearsal and day-of as well. She is truly so generous and thinks of everything. The entire staff was amazing and flexible, and treated us like VIPs from the moment we first toured the space. Everyone there takes so much care in what they do - all the way to lighting all the candles around the mezzanine for the wedding (a magical touch to the ambiance!). Lois took great care of us during the reception, and even packed up our dinner for us when we didnât get to eat much! Weâre so glad she did, as the food is incredible; the salmon blew our minds! Many of our guests raved to us about the dinner. The way The Franklin does their pricing really made a difference to us, too. Every cost was straightforward and we didnât have to worry about any extra fees. This was such a relief when calculating all the costs that go into wedding planning. We would be remiss not to mention how beautiful the entire space is. Danny and Christina have taken so much care in restoring the beauty and charm of the building. The pretty and well-lit bridal suite was the perfect place to get ready, and provided so many good âgetting readyâ photos. Getting married on the stage was so fun and provided a great view for all our guests. Seeing the gorgeous space set up for our event for the first time took our breath away!! This venue is an absolute GEM!

I cannot say enough nice things about The Franklin of Soulard. We booked 20 months before our wedding date and during that entire time period I always felt like a priority. You get so much for your money & I never felt like they were trying to nickel and dime us for silly stuff (canât say that about other places we toured). The bridal suite is HUGE which was so nice for the day of. The space is beautiful but truthfully the staff make this space so unique. Christina & Danny were SO helpful, courteous, and incredibly sincere the entire time. Christina always answered my questions with speed and Danny even helped carry boxes to the car the day after. I knew from the beginning I didnt have to worry about anything and I cannot thank them enough for that huge stress relief! Christina and Danny were always there when we needed them reception night and Lois treated us like royalty making sure we had drinks, desserts, and plenty of food. While planning, they made adjustments to entree sides, brought in specialty drinks we asked for, and NEVER made us feel like it was outrageous request. The food is absolutely incredible, Im not sure I will ever get over it! If you want a space that is beautiful, a wonderful staff, and a place that makes you feel like family⊠this is it. I wish we could get married here every single weekend, it was truly a dream. Thank you to The Franklin of Soulard for making sure our night was absolutely perfect! We cannot thank you all enough.

Christina and Daniel were so incredibly wonderful to work with! I had no idea how much I would fall in love with The Franklin when I walked in to it. We wanted a beautiful venue with a lot of charm and it is just so breathtaking in person. Everyone at The Franklin ensured our wedding planning process was as easy as can be. They helped us plan so many details and we had such a hard time deciding on food because it was all so delicious (especially the late night corn dogs!). Our guests couldn't stop telling us how beautiful and unique the space was. I would recommend The Franklin to anyone planning an event. Such a special place!

Where to even begin. Not only is this venue beautiful and perfect for a wedding, but the owners Christina and Daniel have to be two of the most amazing, professional, skilled, incredible people ever! We visited the venue because of the location, size and ambiance, but we booked it because of Christina and Daniel. Where to even begin. Not only is this venue beautiful and perfect for a wedding, but the owners Christina and Daniel have to be two of the most amazing, professional, skilled, incredible people ever! We visited the venue because of the location, size and ambiance, but we booked it because of Christina and Daniel. Their experience in the event hosting space was apparent from the very first conversation and our day was literally perfect due in large part to them and their amazing staff. If you are getting married in St. Louis and looking for a beautiful, affordable and all-inclusive venue, The Franklin needs to be at the very top of your list!! I canât say enough wonderful things about Christina, Daniel and the rest of their staff. From the moment we toured the space, they made us feel so special and like we were their top priority. Christina kindly and promptly answered every email and question I had (there were a lot!). I am a fairly detail-oriented person and at our final venue meeting a month before the wedding, I was absolutely blown away by the level of detail that went into planning our day - weâre talking a down-to-the-minute timeline! Our wedding went so smoothly and I know that is because of all the work they put in behind the scenes. I literally wish I could get married again just to work with them again. The space is AMAZING, and all little extras like the cocktail lounge and gold chargers and nice chairs - things that other venues would charge extra for - are just part of having your event there. The food is incredible. I wish I could eat their butternut squash ravioli every day! I also made use of their gorgeous bridal suite to get ready in the morning. I would highly recommend The Franklin to any couple searching for a venue. It was one of the very best decisions we made.

The Franklin itself is absolutely beautiful with a mix of modern updates and historical charm. Our guests have not stopped complementing how amazing everything looked! For a venue of this size, it's very hard to find someone with the attention to detail and level of customer service that the owners, Christina and Daniel, have when planning the perfect event. Christina and Daniel are absolutely amazing to work with in every way! You can truly see how passionate and knowledgeable they are from day 1. They were always available throughout the planning process, and as we got closer to the wedding date, we could feel that they were just as excited to host our wedding as we were! Oh my gosh, as Mother of the Bride my daughters wedding reception at The Franklin of Soulard was absolutely stunning! The venue is beautiful and Christina is an absolute joy to work with. We cannot say anything but POSITIVE reviews about The Franklin of Soulard. This was the first venue we looked at when we began planning our wedding and immediately it fit â not just the look/feel of the space but because of the staff. Christina and Danny are the most welcoming and engaging venue managers and supported our process the whole way through! Their entire process to ensure our wedding went off without a hitch was amazing. They were able to work with us on our budget, numbers, even down to the nitty gritty details such as table layout and that was just the planning phase. The day of the wedding was so smooth thanks a lot to them and their entire team. They allowed us to include a mocktail version of our signature drink as an option and went out of their way to come up with a tasty choice that guests enjoyed and talked about after! Speaking of tasty, they have what I would guess is some of the best wedding food. If they were a restaurant, I would go again in a heartbeat â even more so, my dad went to the kitchen to applaud the staff on all the delicious foods from appetizers down to the entrĂ©e!I wish I could do everything over again just to experience working with them and this beautiful venue. It had everything we needed, including an amazing bridal suite for a large or small party to get ready! Christina and Danny are the most welcoming and engaging venue managers and supported our process the whole way through! Their entire process to ensure our wedding went off without a hitch was amazing. They were able to work with us on our budget, numbers, even down to the nitty gritty details such as table layout and that was just the planning phase. The day of the wedding was so smooth thanks a lot to them and their entire team. They allowed us to include a mocktail version of our signature drink as an option and went out of their way to come up with a tasty choice that guests enjoyed and talked about after! Speaking of tasty, they have what I would guess is some of the best wedding food. If they were a restaurant, I would go again in a heartbeat â even more so, my dad went to the kitchen to applaud the staff on all the delicious foods from appetizers down to the entrĂ©e!I wish I could do everything over again just to experience working with them and this beautiful venue. It had everything we needed, including an amazing bridal suite for a large or small party to get ready! Christina and Danny of The Franklin of Soulard were amazing hosts for our wedding day. Christina was an excellent communicator and offered sage advice on many aspects of our wedding planning. Her experience in the industry was invaluable in helping us to put together the wedding and party that we wanted to share with all of our family and friends.We initially were just going to hire the venue for our wedding ceremony however as soon as we saw the venue in person and talked with Christina we immediately decided that The Franklin of Soulard is exactly what we wanted out of our wedding venue. Christina was so easy to talk to, she offered to hold our hand every step of the way, helping us through our meal choices, décor options and ceremony planning. The meal tasting experience was wonderful, and the food and appetizers were fantastic. This translated over to the wedding day, the food was great and the appetizers were especially popular with our guests. The kitchen and serving staff did an excellent job of making sure our guests had everything they needed (150ish guests). The serving staff at the bar were exceptional, drinks were served quickly and professionally from an individually catered drinks package that Christina helped guide us in putting together. Christina was flexible with the timing, pausing drink service for 30 minutes during speeches to allow us to extend the service 30 minutes later into the evening. The Franklin also allowed us to add on an extra hour of drinks service at a very reasonable price, which we greatly appreciated.Christina and Danny were great on the day of the wedding, making sure we had everything we needed and organizing our wedding party for the ceremony. Christina also made sure our DJ knew exactly what he was doing and when he needed to play certain songs, we really felt like we were in good hands all throughout the day.The room was put together perfectly, they received delivery of our flowers and desserts and displayed them all with expert care. Myself and my wife had an amazing day with our friends and family, and we really appreciate everything that the staff of The Franklin of Soulard did for us. If you are looking for a classic venue with great owners....The Franklin of Soulard is your place! We looked at over a dozen venues and after speaking with Christina and Daniel, we felt it was a great fit. Our first conversation was at the venue as they renovated and had pictures of what they wanted. As the months went on and we saw their updates one by one, we got excited. The questions we had were all answered promptly and we even visited a couple more times to get better ideas and they had no issue with letting us explore. As the big day got closer we had more meetings about what we envisioned for our day. They were able to give ideas of what they had see and what worked best which made the decisions very easy. The tasting was phenomenal and Christina took numerous notes about what we liked and didn't like. Finally our day arrived and that is where you see the magic of this group. The staff was on point with all the details! I can't say enough about how nice they all were and made sure that we had no issues. Our biggest surprise was the champagne tower we had talked about for a year. Christina and Daniel did some testing and made it happen on our day!The Franklin of Soulard was so easy to work with and for being the biggest part of our wedding was the least of our worries. Knowing the experience of these two allowed us to transition to other items of attention. If you are looking for a place to host your next event or wedding, this is the first place you need to check out!

She thought of things we would have never imagined to plan and made sure the space was available to us to set it up to our every desire. We honestly felt like we were the only event they were hosting all year, they put THAT much effort into every step of our planning. The food was delicious and Danny & his staff made sure every meal was perfect! The bartenders helped accommodate our crazy signature drink (The Yellowhammer, as I am a Bama grad!) & went above & beyond to make sure no one's cup was empty all night. It has taken me 2 months to write this review because I didnât think I could even put down in words how amazing this venue is. I was overwhelmed at the beginning of my wedding planning and I stumbled across this venue and thought I would check it out, from the moment I stepped in and met Christina and Daniel I just knew it was meant to be. All of the other venues I looked at I felt like I was just another bride but at the Franklin I felt like I was the ONLY Bride. Christina and Daniel were so accommodating and were there for me every step of the way. I had so many of my guests tell me how much they loved the food!! All the vendors I brought in said that the staff at the Franklin were so easy to work with and welcoming. My bridal party and I got ready in the gorgeous bridal suite which made my getting ready pictures stunning! After pictures they even set up appetizers for us in the bridal suite before we entered the reception. My mom was also so thankful for them because she felt like she could enjoy the day knowing they had everything taken care of. You literally cannot go wrong choosing the Franklin of Soulard for your special day! My day was truly the fairytale Iâve always dreamed of! The only negative thing I have to say is that I am sad I donât get to talk to Christina and Daniel everyday and their amazing staff, they will forever hold a special place in our hearts!!

My husband and I had a vision for Disney Inspired wedding and that included a Dole Whip specialty cocktail. No hesitation on their end, they made sure we had it and even helped with obtaining the right machine for this drink.Christina and Daniel were very responsive to all texts, calls and emails. Coordinating between them and our other vendors was smooth and flexible. When my florist left without fixing the head table, Christina and my mother in law stepped in and set up the head table correctly without any hesitations. Not only was it a pleasure working with Christina and Daniel, but their staff were super friendly and made sure our guests had the best time! Cate, their Event and Communications Manager made sure that my husband and myself had everything we needed. She even got us a drink when we were too busy trying to eat our dinner to move onto the next scheduled item. Cate is super sweet and has a pleasure to work with. The food is to die for and during our tasting everything was explained and customizable. During the tasting the sauce for the beef was not what we were expecting, however we voiced our opinions and they listened. During the final details meeting, they made sure the share the new sauce for the beef, which was 1,000% delicious and shared what the Mickey shaped waffles will look and taste like. Leaving that meeting we felt super confident about our big day that was only a few weeks away. Lastly, the venue itself is STUNNING. Christina and Daniel have updated it but still kept its charm. They have a great eye for detail and made this already beautiful venue stand out even more than it originally did. If I can leave this review with any advice to brides and grooms looking for a place, I say BOOK IT! You will not be disappointed.

THE PERFECT VENUE! The Franklin of Soulard has it all â beautiful space, great staff, and delicious food. Christina and Daniel were easy to work with from start to finish â her attention to detail and organization did not go unnoticed. The bar and wait staff were friendly and efficient. We loved using the Bridal Suite to get ready. The green floral backdrop and dĂ©cor made for fantastic photos. Great handicap accessibility as well. Everyone had a magical time, especially my son and daughter-in-law.

My fiancee and I recently toured The Franklin of Soulard early in our wedding venue search and they set the bar so high! The space itself is stunning and a great âall in oneâ venue. It can accommodate medium to large guest counts with plenty of floorspace and personalized layout customization to meet your style and needs - including ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. The bridal suite was one the special touch highlights. The space contains a breathtaking mirror and is comfortable and roomy enough to truly embrace the day with your girls! As if the space itself didnât make us swoon over the venue, I have never interacted with more genuine and accommodating owners/coordinators. Christina and Daniel personally gave us the venue tour and it was easy to see their passion for their line of work, but never once did it feel like they were trying to sell their space to us, they genuinely want to help couples host the most important day of their lives. Communication was timely and thorough from the very first email. All around, The Franklin of Soulard, is an up and coming St. Louis wedding gem with historical charm and a modern flare all wrapped into one.

I don't even know how to put into words how amazing this venue and Christina and Danny are. Their vision and execution of remodeling this space from what it was has been an inspiration to watch unfold and be a part of.My dad's band came out of retirement to play my wedding at the Franklin of Soulard. They had previously worked band jobs here when it was ran by its previous owners. He had his reservations about me getting married there from what he knew from playing there in the past, but was blown away by Christina and Danny's accommodations and how they have made the space much easier for bands to set up. They have provided handicap access into the building and use of an elevator to get heavy equipment to the ballroom. They have also provided easy to use ramps to get things onto the stage! Everything ran seamlessly.The accommodations made for the band were just a fraction of the amazing things I have to say about this venue. It is an absolutely gorgeous space, and Christina and Danny make sure you have EVERYTHING you need throughout every step of the way. Their staff was so kind and efficient, the food was incredible, and we had the absolute time of our lives. I've thought about quitting my job and working for them just so I can spend more time at this beautiful place and hang out with Christina and Danny more đI can honestly say, my wedding day would not have been the same without Christina and Danny and their support in making our dream day come true. They made the planning process easy and enjoyable, and the day of could not have gone more perfectly. You will not regret booking this absolutely amazing venue!!

My bridesmaids and I got ready in the bridal suite, had pictures at Forest Park, the ceremony at my church, and then back at the Franklin for the reception. Each transition was seamless, and Daniel and Christina went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. All of our pictures were effortlessly gorgeous. Their chef is an amazing artist, using ingredients and making meals that showcase the St. Louis area, and the food was absolutely delicious. The Franklin made planning a wedding (almost) easy! For my husband and me, another important determining factor was the vision that Daniel and Christina have for their community. For every mouth they feed at their event, they donate that many meals or necessary items to the local ministry to the unhoused. They are not just passionate about their business and the work they do, but seeing a positive impact on their city. Choose the Franklin.

If youâre looking for an all-inclusive wedding venue, this is your sign to stop searching now and book with the Franklin of Soulard! This was the first venue we toured when we first got engaged and every single venue after that just didnât compare. The venue is beautiful and historic, and has been updated with new paint, chandeliers, flooring, getting ready suite, etc. The food was delicious! We had so many compliments on itâŠeveryone kept asking who catered it and we were so thrilled to be able to tell everyone it was provided in house! The staff was professional, friendly, and so quick to get things doneâŠwe had our room flipped between the ceremony and reception in minutes! All of that would have made for a good wedding, but what truly made it the perfect day was the owners, Christina and Daniel! They are so passionate about what they do and we truly felt like they cared about us and our wedding day. Theyâre so organized and helped us through every step of the planning process and made sure that our wedding day went exactly to plan. I canât say enough good things about Christina and Daniel and I cannot wait to see what they continue to do with the Franklin of Soulard!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! Working up to the wedding was seamless and stress-free. From the food tasting to the decorating, everything was easy. The girls used the bridal suite to get ready so they were already downtown for pictures and the space was amazing. They really had everything we needed. Finally the reception was... Perfect. It's really the only word I can think of. We got so many compliments on everything -the space, the dance floor, the food (even the vegetarian dishes - which if you've ever gotten subpar vegetarian wedding food you know what's a big deal). Cannot thank Christina and Danny enough! It was everything we could have wanted. Going with the Franklin was one of our best decisions of our wedding.

Watching them turn The Franklin Room into what stands today was nothing short of \"an act of love\". Christina and Dan are naturals, and our wedding was perfect thanks to their hard work. The service was spectacular and the venue was beautiful! I really was able to have the wedding of my dreams at The Franklin Room and you can too! During my hunt for the perfect venue, I remember having my initial phonecall with Christina and immediately felt at ease from a single conversation. They met with us and really took the time to understand our vision. They were so flexible and willing to help in anyway to make our day special. Not only are they incredibly professional, but kind and personable. They went above and beyond with catering to our specific needs. Communication was so easy, Christina would respond to email within minutes. I had people messaging me for days about how beautiful the venue was. It is a hidden gem and I couldnât be happier with our decision. If you are considering it, please do yourself a favor and set up a meeting. You really wonât regret it.

Such a beautiful venue, and you couldn't be in kinder and more capable hands than Christina's. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our big day, even accommodating our sometimes weird requests and out-of-season needs. We ended up so happy we went with the Franklin!

I cannot say enough about Daniel and Christina. They were very accommodating, and a joy to work with. They were there to help me and answer any questions I had throughout the entire process. With their help, my event was like a story that practically wrote itself. And then comes the ballroom space which is second to none. I promise you, The Franklin of Soulard will not disappoint.

You will NOT regret booking with Christina Walsh! She is the best of the best. The Franklin of Soulard is a gorgeous, historic event space and the Walsh team will guarantee you a perfect day no matter what type of event you're planning. 10/10 recommend!

I canât say enough about what a delight Christina is to work with for any event !! I had the great pleasure of working with her to plan my son and daughter-in-law âs rehearsal dinner for 150 people .Her expertise and attention to every detail made the evening so incredible that people were calling me after to use her for upcoming events they were planning !! I have to say , I never once worried about anything and her communication skills were the best!! Truely can not say enough about this talented young woman!!!
