Located in Milwaukee, WI, The Gage is an industrial wedding venue. The venue space sits just minutes away from the downtown Milwaukee area and blends its modern aesthetic with a sense of history. The exterior is classic cream brick, while the interior is a spacious blank canvas. With years in the wedding industry, we are genuinely passionate about helping people have unforgettable events! When it comes to planning your big day, we are here to support you in whatever way we can. No matter how intimate or grand your celebration, we are excited to bring your vision to life. The Gage covers 7,000 square feet of space, and can comfortably accommodate celebrations with up to 300 guests. In this venue, you will find a chic industrial space on the lower level, while a loft sits above that is perfect for intimate ceremonies or cocktail hours. It also features two get-ready rooms for the couple to use, offering a private setting where they and their party can relax. A large, well-equipped kitchen is ready for your chosen catering company to use while they prepare your wedding meal. A classic handcrafted bar, stretching over 28 feet, offers ample opportunities for a champagne toast to your love. We are happy to give couples a tour, helping them to envision what their special day could look like. The venue has a number of features to help you make your day memorable. As well as weddings, we can also host corporate events!

We could not have been more pleased with the entire staff at The Gage! Not only did they help us plan our wedding for the items that concerned the venue, but they provided so much other help for other items about our wedding via their helpful and organized portal. Documents, files, layouts, emails, and more are all kept in one handy location.The day before and the day of were a dream come true. We were treated like royalty, and our friends and family had the best time. I cannot recommend The Gage enough to host your wedding!!

We cannot say enough about The Gage and their staff! From the moment we signed our contract to all the planning leading up and finally the execution of our big day ... it was all so wonderful! The venue itself is so dreamy - the perfect mix of industrial, warm and very \"Milwaukee\" with the cream city brick and exposed loft. We had both ceremony and reception there and it was so smooth. The initial welcome packet with preferred vendors and online portal for planning is extremely helpful for every single need! The Gage staff is so friendly and just genuinely happy and excited for their couples and you can tell just by their email correspondences back and forth. It makes complete sense to have the \"day of coordination\" add on because you will be lost without it (unless you hire an outside wedding planner/coordinator of some kind) but as mentioned above is an ADD ON and costed an additional $1,000. Other add-ons that make sense like the wrap up package (cleaning up at end of the night), coffee bar, string lights and greenery are all added costs to the base price of the venue rental itself which got tacked on 2 weeks prior to wedding day and can be a hefty added cost so close to the wedding day. Well worth it but definitely plan ahead for that kind of stuff!The only thing for us was the photography options for the bridal party. From the feedback I got, most brides/bridal parties stay onsite and doing wedding photos in the alley and around the venue but we didn't want our only wedding photos to be the black wall in the alley and 70th st so we did have to find a local park nearby which required more time, money, planning etc so that part sucked but also worth it to have more nature focused wedding photos.

Having our ceremony and reception at the Gage was a dream come true! The owners and staff were amazing to work with from the time we booked the venue all the way til the end of our wedding! The interior is so naturally stunning you hardly need any decor at all. The exterior is ideal for photo opps and you can tell the owners really put in the time to make this venue perfect. Our 240 person guest list had plenty of space to move around throughout the night! Having a pre set list of vendors that work well in the space made booking everything else a breeze! All the vendors seem to get along so well and all spoke so highly of each other. As a “type a” bride this made me feel very confident in our choice at the Gage!

We got married March 4th, 2023 at The Gage and I can't say enough good things about getting married at The Gage. From booking to the day of, The Gage staff was helpful all along the way. They offer a portal once you book your venue that is extremely helpful in planning your big day. It has recommended vendors, floor plans, and much much more. This was a lifesaver in the planning process after I booked them. You do have to use one of their approved caterers but they give you a decent amount of options. We went with Timbers Catering, which operates out of The Gage's kitchen and people are still raving about our food. We have 137 people and had plenty of space for everyone. Ashley, Amanda and the rest of the staff were so helpful when I had any questions when it came to planning and made sure the day ran smoothly. Once you give them a list of all your vendors, they take over making sure everything is taken care of for the day. There was always someone there making sure we had everything we needed the day of. This venue is gorgeous for a wedding if you want beautiful pictures. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get married in the Milwaukee area.

There truly aren't enough great adjectives to describe what it was like working with The Gage for our wedding reception. From the start of the process until the clock struck midnight on our wedding day, the Gage team consistently impressed. They were quick to communicate, they were professional in their approach, they were accommodating to all of our unique requests and most of all, they were friendly & welcoming. Our guests RAVED about how beautiful the reception looked once we arrived and honestly, we couldn't agree more! I would also highly recommend paying a little extra for their 'day of coordinator' services...they were simply AMAZING! We dropped all of our supplies off in the morning, gave them some setup instructions and they created a magical environment that exceeded our expectations. If you're getting married in Milwaukee, there's not better place! A+++++

It is impossible to put into words just how much we loved having our wedding at the Gage. We were so impressed and appreciative of how helpful and amazing the Gage ladies were at each step of the process. The day-of-coordination was exceptional and our parents, guests, and bridal party continually commented on how exceptional Ashley was. The alcohol package was amazing, and one of the best we came across in our research. We were particularly appreciative of how we were able to customize it a bit to fit some specific requests. Again, the Gage was amazing and we could not give a higher recommendation.

Both Amanda and Ashley were there every step of the way - they helped us pick a date, helped us with many, many random emails/questions, and Amanda did AMAZING as our day of coordinator. The Gage was seriously such a dream! Besides being an absolutely gorgeous venue, the staff is so incredible! Specifically, Ashley & Amanda were so helpful in making our dream wedding with unique touches possible. They were so flexible. From our venue tour, we knew we could trust them with our big day. On wedding day, The Gage staff was so accommodating and wonderful to us and our guests. Ashley, Kelsey, and Mikey made sure we were taken care and the rest of the staff was awesome as well! The bartenders made sure drinks were flowing and were so fun to work with. Honestly, everything was so incredible. I would work with The Gage over and over again if I could!

My daughter was married April 23, 2022. We live in Indiana. The staff at the Gage was incredible. I absolutely did not lift a finger. I was greeted at the door, they unloaded everything, set up all the decorations, took down and repackaged and loaded everything back in my vehicle for me. They were beyond accommodating. Every time a Gage Staff member saw me they asked me if I needed anything. Anything I asked for they had. If I forgot something, they had it. Our closing night manager Michael was amazing. He catered to me, my daughter and her husband. The Gage made the day so carefree and special. I can't believe how quickly they flipped the venue. During the cocktail hour, the Bride and Groom specialty drinks were already prepared and the guests simply grabbed one off the drink wall. Guests did not have to wait in long lines to get drinks. They had so many workers. I was truly impressed. The Gage was so clean and the people there are amazing. Thank you doesn't seem enough! I would absolutely recommend the Gage for your wedding reception! They made it an unforgettable day!

The Gage was the ultimate DREAM! The team makes everything seamless and takes a lot of the stress off the bride and groom. The venue itself is beautiful, which makes those on a smaller budget still able to have a unforgettable day. I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. If you’re debating on checking it out, DO IT! We’ve had nothing but amazing feedback from our guests.

The Gage was the ultimate DREAM! The team makes everything seamless and takes a lot of the stress off the bride and groom. The venue itself is beautiful, which makes those on a smaller budget still able to have a unforgettable day. I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. If you’re debating on checking it out, DO IT! We’ve had nothing but amazing feedback from our guests.

We used them as our day of coordinator and they made sure that our entire wedding ran so smoothly. The venue is so beautiful on its own that we didn't really need to decorate. Wow - we cannot say enough about The Gage and the staff there! When we first toured the venue it was still under construction so we saw the space and then the photos of how it would look - and they nailed it!! Every detail in the venue was so carefully planned out and just BEAUTIFUL! The staff was also amazing. From the start, Ashley, Nina and Amanda were very open to help us with questions and made sure we understood the contract and pricing, etc. We selected the day of coordination and Ashley was WONDERFUL. She had every detail exactly how we planned and made sure nothing was missed. She was even checking up on us to see if we needed anything or if there was anything she could do to make things better (but it was already perfect). We received several comments from our family/friends on how great the bar staff was and how quickly they got their drinks. We also took advantage of the wrap down service which was great at helping us clean up and be able to enjoy every minute of dancing without worrying about taking everything down. We truly cannot say enough good things about this venue - thank you Ashley, Nina and Amanda for making our day a dream come true!!

I don’t have words for how wonderful our experience with the Gage was. After being pushed around by other venues and having to reschedule my wedding 3 times due to COVID-19, the Gage and it’s staff/owners were a breath of fresh air. The main team, Ashley, Nina, and Amanda were kind, attentive, and organized throughout the WHOLE process. Even with last minute seating chart and set up changes, they remained positive and warm. On the day of, I felt as if they were throwing a wedding for their best friend or family. They were by my side cheering me on and making every dream I have ever had come true. They and their staff were extremely professional and collected even under stress. I had a large wedding of 200 people, but everything went off seamlessly and the venue itself was absolutely stunning. If I could recommend this venue and tram to every couple I would. Five stars isn’t enough!

If I would have to go through planning a wedding again, I would pick The Gage in a heart beat! They are the sweetest, most organized group of girls EVER! Because of COVID, I had to find a new location for my reception within 2 months of our wedding date. I was lucky enough they had the date open :). I was very stressed out with everything going on and they made me feel calm with how organized they were and there for ever step of the planning. Their wedding planning portal was amazing, I have never seen another venue do anything else like that!

We were so upset to leave our first venue but it was soooo worth it as we ended up happier here than we would have been! It was not just about the venue itself, but about the staff. They led us through everything. Ashley and Nina literally picked us up and helped us when we felt like we were at wits end with the wedding planning process. They felt like our best friends during this entire thing and only wanted what was best for us. The day of the wedding, they were constantly checking in on us throughout the night and making sure we were happy and had everything we needed. It was as simple as making sure we had enough to drink, to making sure the layout and tables were set exactly how we wanted them. They were so kind! We didn't get to work with Amanda as much, but for the short time we did, she was just as amazing as the other two! I seriously could go on and on as I have nothing but positive things to say!
