Nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown Versailles, KY, couples will find The Galerie - a historic property thoughtfully reimagined in 2018 with weddings in mind. This property is rich in history with a century of weddings being hosted on the grounds which are in the center of the entertainment district. The classic steeple and white-washed brick exterior is a timeless backdrop for a stunning celebration and picture-perfect photos. The Galerie venue in Versailles is the signature venue managed by The Galerie Events team who offer multiple planning options to help couples with every step of their wedding journey! Fully renovated in 2018, as The Galerie Events' signature venue, each design choice was made with modern couples in mind. The space blends historical architecture with modern comfort to provide a luxurious experience. The Galerie has two getting-ready suites with plenty of room for your wedding party to prepare for the big day. The Thornton Suite, styled as a bridal suite, is a four-room suite with a kitchenette, a bridal closet, plush seating, and a mirror-lined dressing room with beauty bar. The Paddock Room, styled as a groom's suite provides a moody atmosphere, with leather couches, a smart TV, and a rustic counter. Each room in the venue is filled with natural light and the main ballroom space is light, bright and airy for a neutral backdrop to host your vision. The Galerie Events team has hosted weddings on property since 2018 and is happy to help you with your best day ever!

The Galerie is a beautiful venue that my husband and I were lucky to get married in. We both grew up in the area and I had dreamed about getting married at this venue. The planning leading up to the day was very organized, Jessica is a joy to work with and had great recommendations for us as far as vendors go. She met with us several times to go over timelines, seating charts, and layouts for the wedding and reception. I was disappointed that once the wedding day got here, there wasn't much they did as far as assistance unless they were hired as the wedding planners for the day. The bride and groom suite are absolutely beautiful and make getting ready for the day SO. MUCH. FUN. They are both located in the basement, and there is only one bathroom for both suites which can make it complicated when the bride has to use the bathroom, if you don't want your groom to see you before the ceremony. Additionally, at the conclusion of the wedding, we had to take our own trash to the dumpster from the bridal suite which was a little disappointing. The cocktail hour area was beautiful, as it encompassed the lobby area of the first floor and the balcony, however, it was a little tight for our 138 people. All in all, we would recommend this venue and wouldn't change anything about our beautiful day.

The Galerie was amazing!!!! It was the most beautiful venue, and all of our guests raved about how stunning it was, so beautiful, classy, and timeless. Jessica (the venue manager and our planner) went above and beyond and made our day absolutely PERFECT!!!!! They handled everything with the utmost professionalism and really communicated SO well. We did a room flip and the staff handled it wonderfully. We had a band and the stage and dance floor area was the perfect amount of space for it. We had about 140 guests and it fit things perfectly. The getting ready areas are unreal and gorgeous for pictures, and also the boys loved the space as it has a pool table for them to have fun with! It's an awesome location because it's located so close to the Lexington airport and the Versailles area is all walkable so a lot of our guests didn't even have to rent cars. For lunch, we were able to pick up food right next door at the pizza place. Additionally, there is also a lift to the area so it was accessible to my grandmother who has mobility issues. Thank you SOOO much to the Galerie and to Jessica!!!!

I absolutely adore the Galerie and everyone there who helped make our wedding day the best day of my life! Jessica was there for me throughout the entire day to make sure the timeline was being followed and to just make sure I was taken care of and enjoying the day. She is attentive, positive, and fun to work with. The room flip was seamless and fast so you don't have to worry about guests waiting long for the seats for dinner service. The getting ready suites are beautiful and the ceremony/reception space is gorgeous and a blank slate for whatever you have in mind. It's classic, timeless, and exactly what I envisioned for my wedding day. I can't recommend The Galerie enough for your wedding day!

I found a gem when I found The Galerie. This is a beautiful venue with wonderful staff to top it off. Jessica, Lindsey & the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. The building is an old church that was converted somewhat recently into an ideal space full of charm & beauty. We held our ceremony & reception there & honestly I could not have dreamed a more perfect setting. To top it off, they not only have a groom's suite but the most fantastic 4 room bridal suite you have ever seen! Highly recommend The Galerie for any type of gathering but especially your big day.

We had both our wedding and reception with the Galerie and it was absolutely everything I wanted! The inside is a perfect and elegant blank slate for any bride to make her own. The bridal and groom suites were a HUGE selling point for me as they were spacious, beautiful, and secure. The staff was easy to work with and accommodating, and my wedding turned out fantastic. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that communication was a bit of an issue through the planning stages of the year between booking them and my actual wedding. They did apologize and it did improve there at the end, but it was frustrating to deal with while juggling so much more with wedding planning. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend The Galerie to any modern bride who wants to make the space her own and have a wedding that reflects her style in a unique way.

Jordan, Jessica, Adrian, Lindsay and so many other Galerie team members helped me through the entire wedding planning season with recommendations and accommodating our vision for our big day. We had around 150 guests and it was great for the space. We could have fit more. The historic charm and fresh, neutral theme made the space so romantic and magical. I want to live this day all over again! If you’re a bride looking for a unique venue in Kentucky, visit The Galerie!

I had the best wedding reception at this venue! And I absolutely adore the basement getting ready space for the bride and groom. Me and my bridesmaids loved the bridal suite and all of the mirrors, I would give it a 10/10! There was always someone at the site that day if we needed anything or had any questions and they seemed genuinely excited for our wedding. The space was perfect for what I envisioned for my wedding and reception and I would recommend everyone to check out this venue!

Oh. My. Goodness. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. Jessica and her team went above and beyond in order to make sure our day went smoothly. Jessica was so personable and made the entire wedding planning process seamless. She worked with me constantly and bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect for us. I can't say enough great things about her and her team. The venue itself is gorgeous and having the bridal suit, grooms quarters, and venue space all in one location made everything easy. They put so much thought into every detail of the Galerie. From the beautiful bathrooms to the barn doors in the bridal suit. We had both our ceremony and reception at the Galerie and so I was a bit nervous about flipping the room. But those worries were completely unfounded. It went so smoothly and the room was exactly how we imagined it. The room flipping team was quick and the Galerie's partnership with Sweet Lilu's (who we used as our caterer) made everything SO easy. I can't say enough amazing things about the Galerie. Our wedding was perfect. A HUGE thank you to Jessica & her team for being absolutely fantastic.
