We got nonstop compliments and we were absolutely in love with the size of the space, the white and airy aesthetic, the views over P&L district, and the wonderful food. My husband and I toured close to a dozen venues in the KC area. The Gallery was our last tour. I remember feeling so discouraged since we hadn’t found the right place. Every fear and anxiety was lifted once we walked into The Gallery. We absolutely knew that was the place we were going to be married and have our reception. It was really love at first sight. The Gallery is a beautiful venue overlooking downtown KC and Power & Light. It is a great all-in-one venue that has a great space for the wedding ceremony, a separate space for a cocktail hour (during which the wedding space is flipped into a great reception space). The pictures don’t do The Gallery justice; it’s exceptionally beautiful and we couldn’t have imagined a better venue for our wedding. Their downtown location is also very close to a variety of hotels and restaurants, perfect for out of town guests and other gatherings with family/friends.Our experience working with Meg and The Gallery staff was nothing short of exceptional. To begin, we loved that basically everything was customizable. We were able to edit our package for food and drinks. The food was honestly delicious! We loved getting to taste the food ahead of time and getting to pick exactly what we wanted for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. We received so many compliments from our guests about how good the food was!Meg made planning our wedding a breeze! Any time we asked for something the answer was always “of course we can do that for you!” She coordinated with our vendors seamlessly and made sure we had to do as little work as possible. The staff was also incredible - kind, courteous, and efficient. The staff made it so we didn’t have to lift a finger on our wedding day! While we may have initially fallen in love with The Gallery for its beauty, The Gallery is much more than a beautiful space. Exceptional staff, food, drinks, and ease of coordination helped make our wedding day the best day of our lives. I can’t say enough good things about, or recommend more highly, The Gallery.

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to hold our wedding reception. The space, the staff and the ease in planning was wonderful. A special shout out to Meg Muckey who was a delight to work with. She was patient, so helpful and we knew all along we were in great hands with her coordination. I would not hesitate to use The Gallery!

Meg is absolutely amazing. She was so easy to work with, she helped with all of my requests and late night emails. The space is beautiful and our wedding was the wedding of our dreams. We couldn’t have had a better day! The food was phenomenal and we are still getting compliments a month later on how accommodating, fun and helpful the bartenders were. Planning was extremely easy. I cannot say enough amazing things about Meg. She even found a permanent marker for my niece who had a broken arm and wanted people to sign her cast.

Even though overall everything was great on the actual wedding day, we were very disappointed with The Gallery. Initially one of the main reasons we picked them was the fact that they include all the main parts of a wedding - the venue, catering, bar, tables, linens, etc, and in a package that includes tax and gratuity. We also appreciated how responsive and communicative our point of contact was. We postponed our wedding from 2021 to 2022 due to the pandemic and while they were very flexible about that, trying to communicate with the person that took over during the pandemic was like pulling teeth. That main point of contact was reinstated again at the end of 2021 and we were very happy initially but sometime just around 3 months before the wedding it seemed like all communication broke down. In March 2022 for example we absolutely could not get an answer to a couple simple, but relevant, questions for two entire weeks (after 6 total attempts to contact them over email, web portal and text message - which was left on \"read\" for 3 days). They said there had been a problem with their email system. Funny thing is another vendor of ours also had an email problem just a month later, and they posted about it on Instagram and also emailed their clients letting them know, which only highlighted how badly this issue was handled by the Gallery.Despite being managed by a larger company, it seems like they have no sort of coverage for their people. You are assigned one person and that's the only contact you have. If they're out of office (not that you'd know, since they never use OOO automatic replies) or busy with another event, there's not a second person to at least take two seconds to say something like \"we'll look into that and get back to you\". It seems so unprofessional and not in line with the expectations they set. We had scheduled our final walkthrough 3 months ahead of time, because it's an appointment in the middle of the day during the week so we both had to fit it with our busy work schedules. Just a week before the appointment we got an automatic email notification that it had been changed to a completely different day and time. I had to reach out myself saying that new date didn't work for us. No explanation was given about why the appointment was changed, and we were appalled that they would change it without FIRST contacting us, the client!More details: - On the day of there was no one from the venue there when the groom arrived at the scheduled time, thankfully our coordinator was able to reach someone over the phone to unlock the door. The point of contact person eventually came in about an hour later. She barely acknowledged either of us at any point.- There was also no one available at the rehearsal, so again we had to track someone down to validate parking for our guests. - The food was not as good as what we had been served at the tasting, and it was fine, but again, not at all in line with the expectations set.- They were supposed to have 100 signature drinks placed on the way to the cocktail room as guests left the ceremony, but only a few were placed there in time. By the time people realized the drinks were sitting outside the room (the Kill Devil Club) most of the ice in them had melted.As a side note, the bartender Ruben was absolutely great, he was fun, attentive, and it seems like he ended up taking on some responsibility that we would have expected from someone else at the venue.

Gallery has done two weddings for us and they've done a great job. I would highly recommend them. They give you an upfront price per head that includes tax and gratuity, so you know what your cost is going to be. They arranged the space well for a good-size crowd and had the event well-staffed. The view looking toward the P&L District and T-Mobile Center was wonderful. The food at our second wedding was not as good as the first one, and that's the only mild criticism I would have. I think part of that is the crowd was significantly bigger so they had to serve a lot more meals.But overall the staff is great to work with and the venue very good.

The Gallery was the absolute perfect place to have my wedding reception. Planning a wedding during Covid brought many frustrations and challenges including a venue change. Jessica and her team at the Gallery made our reception possible when we thought we wouldn't get to have one. The space is gorgeous and in a prime location. Jessica is easy to work with and so flexible! We are so thankful to have many memories in this space.

\"I was one of those brides unfortunate enough to have to plan and get married during the times of Covid. Before we had to postpone our wedding date we worked with McCall, who was an absolute pleasure. Post-Covid we began working with Jessica who was not only equally wonderful, but also empathetic and incredibly accommodating.Back in June we made the decision to move our wedding venue from the Gallery to an outdoor venue. Instead of taking our deposits and telling us we were out of luck (which they easily could have done) Jessica and the Gallery instead kindly offered to use our deposit to host our rehearsal dinner. The Gallery actually shut down 14th street so that we could host our rehearsal dinner outside, which turned out to be an amazingly cool event. The food was fantastic, and Jessica coordinated the event as a true professional.I cannot praise McCall, Jessica, and the Gallery enough for the way in which they handled an incredibly difficult situation (both emotionally and financially). They went out of their way to accommodate us and host an unforgettable evening. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They saved me from an extreme amount of stress for which I am forever grateful. They will not disappoint!\"

As the pandemic became more real, we got to work with a few Gallery/Power & Light employees. First was McCall, then Jessica and Kendall. Every single one of them was so professional and helpful. Despite going through a very hard time of their own, managing a large venue during a time when large events aren't always an option, they were flexible, understanding, responsive and all around AMAZING to work with. When we had a big structure we were worried about setting up the morning of the event, they let us store it in their back room so we didn't have to stress about it. When at the last minute we asked to spread things out more to provide a safer environment, they turned around a new seating chart right away had the linens ordered ASAP. And when we needed to come by early in the morning to pick things up or drop things off, they made it work so someone would be there on OUR schedule, making it so easy. All around loved the space, loved the food and loved the people!

I even had a last minute change the day before our wedding which they happily helped me with. I could not recommend this space more, it is beautiful, great downtown location, affordable and everything you could want in a wedding venue. My guests cannot stop talking about how much they loved the venue, food and the drinks. I was also impressed with the bartender serving us that night. She was friendly, fast and remembered all of our guests drinks. My guests could not stop raving about her and it made a special night even better. I am so glad we chose this venue and am very thankful for all the staff that made our night flawless and unforgettable!

The absolute best. The most amazing food, the best views, and excellent service. We’ve had so so so many compliments about the Gallery since our wedding. It was so easy to have a place that had a package all in one! We did the silver package along with the kill devil club for happy hour and it was outstanding. The gallery’s large size ensured that we could follow social distancing with our number of guests. I've been to a few corporate events at The Gallery-- not only is it a clean, modern, and flexible space, it is exceptionally managed by a group of talented event professionals. I'm looking forward to attending my coworker's wedding next spring to see how this space transforms for a romantic event. I've had the pleasure of working with McCall and can say that her love of weddings and keen eye for detail is only surpassed by her drive to offer the best experience possible. All of my guests loved how seamless the transition was from the ceremony to cocktail hour at the Kill Devil Club and then into the reception. McCall and her team were so great to work with. She was there to answer any question I had and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We had a specific idea for what we wanted for our menu and they were able to accommodate all of our requests! The food was amazing we received so many compliments! My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of town, and McCall made our planning such a breeze. She is professional, prompt in her responses, has a real eye for event design, and unbelievably accommodating. Any weekend we were in town and wanted to see the space, or bring our other vendors by to see the space, she would make it happen for us. She was also incredibly thorough, and if she didn’t have the answer to our question that second, you could be certain we would hear from her within 24 hours. Simply put, we couldn’t have been in better hands while planning our wedding. It has been a month since our big day and we are still getting compliments from family and friends! Where do I begin. This place is magical. It’s in the heart of Kansas City, the power and light district. Having our out of town guests stay downtown by this venue for the real KC experience was just one of the many perks. My favorite thing about this venue....all inclusive! Most venues you have to pay a rental fee just to have it there, this venue you don’t so keep that in mind. Most venues you have to think a lot about the extras, this venue you don’t. It’s a per person count. We did the silver package and were very happy with it! The food is soooo good!! We are foodies and we not going to go anywhere that didn’t have top notch food. This venue comes with your bartenders, servers, a venue coordinator, chairs, tables, linens, cutlery...down to champagne glasses, and an extremely cool cocktail hour in the kill devil club! Also did I mention the gallery has a beautiful balcony with a great view? I wanted to be able to go outdoors but not be somewhere that outside was the only option (in case it rained) so this place was perfect! I could go on and on. McCall, the coordinator at the Gallery is very organized and there when you need her! Everything was perfect on my wedding day and I wouldn’t have had it anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and go tour this place if you are considering. Also follow the gallery on Instagram and Facebook! They post a ton of photos regularly. My day was perfect and I planned it in 4 months. I would recommend The Gallery to anyone. It’s hands down the best wedding venue in KC.

I am a photographer in the Kansas City area and I work with so many venues a year. None of them surpass how The Gallery treats their clients, vendors, and staff. I have worked with McCall (The GM) at several weddings and she goes above and beyond for all her clients. Her attitude is so amazing it rubs off on everyone around her, which means her staff is just as amazing. This venue also has catering and bar on sight! It just shows how above and beyond this group goes to make your guests feel so welcome. We had a long engagement (1 1/2 years) and over those many months, Jessica met with us in person as many times as we were in town. She put this out-of-state bride’s fears to rest many, many times throughout those planning months. “No” was not a word I heard from her much, if at all. She did everything she could to give us our perfect wedding day. The weekend and day of, Jessica was unbelievably accommodating and a soothing voice of confidence. The Gallery has an in-house catering team and bartenders and they’re not to be dismissed. I’m still getting comments about how delicious the food was, and so many people had told me before that no one remembers the food at weddings. Clearly not the case here! Having to not search for caterers and bartenders was a HUGE weight off our shoulders. Jessica and her staff handle everything and they really put you at ease. We had menu tastings and many walk throughs with the space. Jessica was so patient with us, despite me being a bit of a planning freak sometimes, haha. The Kill Devil club is awesome for the cocktail hour. The groom and groomsmen were also able to use that space to get ready, so it made for great photos and just a fun area for them to relax in. We were lucky enough to be able to bring a bunch of our day of items to the space the night before, during the rehearsal. This really helped alleviate any worries that someone might forget this and that on the day of, and I did really need that peace of mind if I was going to get any sleep the night before the wedding.Jessica also helped us work with a security team for a sensitive, personal issue that was worrying both my fiancée (now husband) and me. She was completely understanding, as was the security team, in our concerns and if anything did happen, we didn’t know about it! We had a great experience with The Gallery at our October 2017 wedding. From the start, Jessica was flexible and easy to work with. She developed a menu within our budget and still made it custom. Jessica and the GM, Wes really took the time to make sure certain requests were accommodated and that my parents had the time of their life! The private tasting, where we got to try out the menu exceeded our expectations. Jessica hosted us but we had instant access to the General Manager & Chef to answer any pressing questions. I felt so confident when we left that night. (First time in MONTHS that I have slept). That attention to detail did not stop. It carried over to our wedding day. Highlights included Wes and Jessica rehearsing with us the night before over and over again, the server who brought us appetizers during family photos, and who made sure my husband and I were well taken care of; the delicious signature cocktail and attentiveness of the Kill Devil bar staff; and the team's skill in decorating a table and transforming a room. Not surprisingly, we received many rave reviews of the food--even the vegetarians loved it! We are so glad to have found The Gallery and their wonderful team, and would recommend them to anyone

I felt so confident when we left that night. (First time in MONTHS that I have slept). That attention to detail did not stop. It carried over to our wedding day. Highlights included Wes and Jessica rehearsing with us the night before over and over again, the server who brought us appetizers during family photos, and who made sure my husband and I were well taken care of; the delicious signature cocktail and attentiveness of the Kill Devil bar staff; and the team's skill in decorating a table and transforming a room. Not surprisingly, we received many rave reviews of the food--even the vegetarians loved it! We are so glad to have found The Gallery and their wonderful team, and would recommend them to anyone

The cocktail hour was hosted across the hall at the Kill Devil Club (very cool lounge). Tons of hotels around for guests to stay and in a wonderful location across from P&L. We couldn’t have been happier with our venue choice for our wedding reception! The Gallery was such an amazing venue and the staff was a dream to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Jessica was so professional and always available whenever we had any questions! She truly went out of her way to make everything we requested possible and it turned out beautifully! All of our guests were so impressed with the food and space. The weather was gorgeous the night of our wedding and so the balcony/views were a big hit as well! The location is also a huge plus if you’re looking for a downtown wedding in KC. After the reception, all of our guests made their way to a bar in P&L, which was extremely accessible from the venue, and a fun way to top off the perfect day!

BEST wedding venue EVER!!!! Not only did I get the venue that was absolutely perfect for my dream wedding because it provided us with our ceremony, cocktail hour, AND reception space all in one, but it was a package deal with: TWO wedding coordinators, catering (with seriously some of the BEST food in all of Kansas City), bartenders, tables, chairs, and AMAZING location in KC's trendy Power and Light District. It was SO nice not having to mess with additional outside vendors for catering, tables, chairs, linens, etc. \r\rAlso, I cannot rave enough about Jessica, The Gallery's head event coordinator!! For starters, she was fabulous with working with our budget and getting us what we wanted for our pricing. Also, I was planning this Kansas City wedding while living four hours away in St. Louis, so I had limited availability for traveling to KC for wedding appointments, walk-thrus, etc. But Jessica was always SO accommodating with my funky schedule. I seriously went to the venue for numerous reasons throughout the whole wedding planning process probably 15-20 times and I never had trouble getting in to see the venue and talk to Jessica. And she was always so great with input and suggestions on things for the wedding that I would've Never thought of but were super important to the wedding. The day of the wedding she made sure everything was setup and decorated just like how I wanted (seriously, I cried when I walked into the venue before the ceremony and saw everything set up and decorated for the first time-it was PER-FECT!). That was great not having to stress about setting up for the wedding or assign friends or family members to do so because I knew it was all in good hands with Jessica and her team of workers. Throughout the evening of the wedding, she was always running around doing things behind the scenes and probably putting out fires (figuratively, haha) that I wasn't ever even aware of. How many venues come with something (someone) like that?!\r\rAs for the event space itself, it was perfect for what my groom and I were looking for: modern, chic, and classy. I love the back wall that is all windows and doors that slide open to the balcony that overlooks the Power and Light District. I love the lounge area with the trendy white leather furniture. I love that the Kill Devil Club was just across the hall for cocktail hour and was just as upscale as the rest of The Gallery. Having cocktail hour there allowed for Jessica and her workers to flip the room from ceremony to reception. I love the fun light panels on the ceiling that change colors. I could go on, by basically, I LOVED this venue (in case you couldn't already tell) and would HIGHLY recommend it!!

It is a gorgeous space on its own or it can act like blank slate that you can transform & decorate to match your wedding style. The outdoor space was more of a hit with our guests than we expected -- I loved the different view of KC from there and our guests enjoyed drinks and cigars out there. Jessica was awesome to work with throughout our entire time booking & all the way through our event. She was more than flexible with our special requests and handled sticky situations so beautifully and with grace. She is very organized and detailed to make sure everything is perfect & how you want it. I decided to do my own flowers for my wedding and she was kind enough to accommodate all my craziness in doing that. Our vendors (Lost Wax Band, Platinum Productions & Adam Hanly Photography) also love working with Jessica & The Gallery which is a huge plus. Everyone was so happy with how smooth the evening went and my family and friends are still giving us compliments on how great the space was. Everything was just perfect & if we had the chance to do it over again we would pick The Gallery hands down.

Words cannot do this place justice. We planned our January 2, 2015 wedding in less than 6 months, and we never could have done it without Jessica Mullen at the Gallery. She is phenomenal! Working with her was fantastic. She is organized, answers emails and questions promptly, and is very thoughtful about the details and planning that goes into the day. She walked us through our options at the beginning, so we knew what to expect. The all-inclusive packages that the Gallery offers meant that our wedding planning was (comparative to other venues we looked at) a very stress-free experience. Not having to worry about additional fees, coordinating with caterers, etc, meant that we could just enjoy the process. And, Jessica was very flexible about working with our schedule. She actually let us drop some decorations off the night before, so we wouldn't have to stress about it day-of the wedding! This is the kind of thoughtful, accommodating experience we had at the Gallery. \r\rJessica also guided the wedding reception beautifully. She coordinated with our photographers and DJ to keep the night moving. It went seamlessly, and she even made sure that my husband and I got to eat! I truly cannot say enough great things about working with Jessica. It takes a lot of faith to put your wedding in the hands of one venue, but we felt comfortable enough to do that. One meeting with her and we knew she would do a fantastic job. \r\rThe venue itself is STUNNING. We looked all over Kansas City for our venue, and we knew the moment we walked in that this was the place for us! The location simply cannot be beat. (Note: in the winter, the Christmas decorations remain up until mid January, making the outdoor balcony a dream!) The Gallery is an ideal size for larger weddings. It also provides the perfect place for people to take pictures. In particular, the couches and artwork on the wall add a nice backdrop for photos (our guests took a million pictures), and having such a large dance floor meant that our photographers had space to move around and capture the night. The Gallery was the perfect space to get great pictures--the Gallery has great lighting, lots of colorful lighting, and a white backdrop that made it ideal for good dance floor pictures! Also, the venue can be set up in multiple ways, so our wedding reception was customized to our own preferences and style. \r\rLastly, this review wouldn't be complete without talking about the food! We heard from several people that this was the best \"wedding food\" they had ever had. We certainly felt that way! The quality of the food and presentation is very comparable to a top Kansas City restaurant. \r\rOverall, I really cannot imagine there is any better place in Kansas City to have a wedding reception. Couple that with Jessica (amazing wedding coordinator for The Gallery) our night was everything we could have hoped it to be. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had planning our daughter's wedding reception at this venue. We live in another city and they were very accomodating concerning our trips to Kansas City to meet with them during the planning process.\r\rThe wedding coordinator of TheGallery , Jessica Mullen, was incredibly helpful the entire time. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had planning our daughter's wedding reception at this venue. We live in another city and they were very accomodating concerning our trips to Kansas City to meet with them during the planning process.\r\rThe wedding coordinator of TheGallery , Jessica Mullen, was incredibly helpful the entire time. The Gallery is a fantastic choice for a reception. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is PHENOMENAL! I am not exaggerating when I say that. From the second we sat down we had a waitress pouring our complimentary champagne (for the head table) and another waitress coming to ask what I would like to drink. I was never without attention. The staff is so attentive and courteous. The food is amazing and worth every penny! We were hesitant in doing an all in one type package, but I would highly recommend this place in the future to any bride. Jessica, the event coordinator is incredibly thorough and hooked us up with passes and freebies in the P&L every time we made a trip to KC (we live in Colorado). She worked with us on a special shot we wanted served in lieu of the champagne toast and everything went off without a hitch! The Gallery was the perfect place for our reception and I could not have hoped for a better venue.

Our daughter's wedding reception was exceptional, thanks to the staff at The Gallery. Jessica was incredibly attentive from our initial inquiry in October 2013 until we left at the end of a perfect evening in August 2014. She was on top of every detail during the entire reception. Chef was great to work with, and the food was very good. The banquet staff did their job well. The entire experience was great, but Jessica's professionalism and patience with us when we couldn't make a decision on the menu, and her genuine desire to make sure we were happy with everything, really stand out. A very positive experience! \r\rThe event space itself is very nice. It could be bit overwhelming to decorate if that's not \"your thing.\" But all it takes, really, is some lighting, table linens, flowers and, perhaps, some pipe & drape. When the room was all dressed up, it was beautiful! Be sure to go see the space when it's decorated for a wedding - it looks entirely different than it looks on a week day.\r\rWe had a Tuscan-style head table, 25 guest tables, two double-sided buffet lines, two bars, a large dance floor and a decent sized area for cocktail tables for a brief cocktail time.\r\rThe Gallery has a range of pricing options and packages, but don't be afraid to ask about customizing your own package. They are very accommodating!

Our ceremony and reception were held at The Gallery. The weather was perfect so everyone got to enjoy the balcony overlooking the Power & Light district. We had a seated dinner with entrée options of salmon, chicken and vegetarian. The service was professional and efficient and the guests were impressed with their dinner and wine selection. The coordinator at the The Gallery was more than helpful during the planning process and the day of making sure everything ran smoothly and offering solutions to problems created by outside vendors. By the time my husband and I sat down for dinner during the reception he was already saying how everything turned out better than he could have imagined. And that was due to what having our ceremony and reception at The Gallery provided - the wedding of our dreams for a more than reasonable price.

We appreciated how organized, helpful, and responsive she was (especially via email)! The space itself was beautiful and there was alot of ease in throwing the wedding in a venue made for weddings! When looking for a place to hold the reception for my wedding, I couldn't stop thinking about The Gallery Event Space. Like most brides, I visited numerous event spaces looking for the perfect place to celebrate my marriage. When I went on a tour at the Gallery, I was blown away by the space! It is clean, modern, and elegant. One wall of the Gallery is made of windows that overlook downtown Kansas City-a great space! It is such a unique space that was pleasing to the eye. \r\rThe food that is provided was spectacular! My fiance and I went in to taste the food before we chose the menu. We were able to select three food options to offer guests. We chose a plated dinner option yet there is also a buffet option available. The guests were raving about the food because it was so good! It did not taste like the chef had mass produced food for 200 people. It tasted as if the food was prepared especially for me. The beer and wine selection was great! There were between 5-10 beers available for guests to choose from, in addition to a white and red wine. I also allowed guests to purchase their own hard alcoholic drinks from the bar if they wished yet beer and wine was free for guests all night. \r\rThe event coordinator at the Gallery, Jessica Mullen, is absolutely wonderful to work with! She was willing to help me in any way possible. She was easy to contact by phone and email leading up to the wedding to plan my special day. She wanted to make sure that everything was perfect. She even came up to me during the reception to ask how my food was and asked if I needed anything. This was a nice touch to show that she genuinely cared and wanted to make sure my day was perfect. \r\rI did not have a wedding planner and planned my wedding during my senior year of college. The Gallery Event Space was the perfect choice for me because it was similar to a 'one stop shop' for almost all your wedding needs. I did not have time to call several different businesses to rent my dinnerware, glassware, flatware, tables, chairs, food, etc-The Gallery includes that all! The only thing that I had to bring into the Gallery was my decorations, DJ, and cake. \r\rI would highly recommend The Gallery Event Space to anyone. It is a large space and can accommodate a large group. I had 200 guests and there was plenty of room, even with a large dance floor. I hope I get the opportunity to visit The Gallery Event Space for another wedding soon!

Our guests loved being so close to power & light & hotels down there. I would HIGHLY recommend it. The girls were AWESOME to work with- so accommodating, so easy to get a long with. So great.

I had my reception at the Gallery. The actual venue itself is beautiful - very modern but chic and the view is really amazing too because you see all the lights of P&L and you are in the middle of the tall buildings of downtown Kansas City. The one thing I was hesitant about when I signed was the food: I had never tried KCLive! before and that's the caterer associated with the Gallery. I was beyond pleasantly surprised with the tasting - the food was phenomenal!! And my guests were RAVING about it! That was my husband's most important component of the wedding and he, along with his friends, can't stop talking about it! The Kill Devil Club is right next door but it did not interfere with the reception at all. The service was the only thing that was not fully up to par, but that could be because it's a new place. I worked with Jessica throughout the reception planning and she and I did not click as well as I had hoped... I would just advise to bring your fiances along with you because she tends to work better with you if a guy is there. Also, the cake was not cut according to the standard diagram that everyone is supposed to use so not all of my guests were able to try it - which really disappointed me. At the end of the reception, Jessica was a bit assertive trying to get everyone out of the room when it was done. Other than that though, the reception flowed smoothly and all the guests were thrilled and said it was the best wedding they had been to in years!

The Gallery is a beautiful event space in the heart of the Power and Light District in downtown Kansas City. The event space is absolutely beautiful and the staff and service are excellent. We enjoyed the process of working with them from start to finish and will absolutely recommend The Gallery to everyone we know!\r\rThe main event planner is fantastic - an absolute delight to work with and the staff of our wedding evening was professional, enjoyable and provided a fun and classy atmosphere! The space itself is stunning - the floor to ceiling windows with a great balcony provide for a great backdrop - regardless of the weather. The Gallery is a beautiful event space in the heart of the Power and Light District in downtown Kansas City. The event space is absolutely beautiful and the staff and service are excellent. We enjoyed the process of working with them from start to finish and will absolutely recommend The Gallery to everyone we know!\r\rThe main event planner is fantastic - an absolute delight to work with and the staff of our wedding evening was professional, enjoyable and provided a fun and classy atmosphere! The space itself is stunning - the floor to ceiling windows with a great balcony provide for a great backdrop - regardless of the weather. This event space is to die for! We were impressed with The Gallery from day one, and it was still under construction! We booked with them before construction was finished because their staff were so great to work with and because of the prime downtown location. Communication was very important to us because we were the only ones that lived in town and were planning our entire wedding on our own with zero help. Jessica was always responsive to every question and concern. Our reception was beautiful and the location was gorgeous. Everyone loved the food and the service was fantastic. Hurry up and check out this venue because it is going to be the number one wedding venue in KC. I would recommend this venue to any Kansas City bride!
